Got everything that was needed for moving boxes tape equipment everything! :).Staff was helpful to pick up the items as well as the ruck rental. Truck was great and everything went smooth.You even get money back from the unused boxes.Overall quite happy with this uhaul shop .

Best experience yesterday while picking up .the gentleman that helped us was very helpful and patient.upon returning the u-haul he was still there but was helping another customer.the lady we got was complaining in front of me about the previous customer. Very rude n unprofessional . I didnt need to hear about her experience or how terrible she thought the gentleman was.the other worker was trying to get her to stop talking about it but seem like she didnt care. She may have been having a bad day or needs a customer service refresher

Far more expensive on LP for tanks than other in town dealers. (as of October 2021, .70 gal more) If the guy is busy at the counter, you wait....and wait....and wait.

Didnt have the right tools so went here and they attached hitch ball to ball mount for free

We used U-Haul at this location for a move within town. My husband (who usually isnt very observant ;p ) specifically commented on how great their customer service was. He said they were friendly, laid back, and helpful. We would highly recommend renting from this location and will be using them again if we have future moving needs.

I have mixed feelings about this U-Haul. Most of the time, staff is great. They are a bit slow and take their time even though there are many customers waiting. However, one of the things I do like about this place is that they have used boxes left by patrons that they allow other people to take. I bought a lot of boxes for my move but also grabbed quite a few free ones and returned many so others could use. For many years I bought my propane here for my grill. I only stopped because I got rid of my grill. This is an overall very good place to rent trucks, buy boxes and purchase propane. I just wish they had a little more sense of urgency so customers could get in and out faster.

Allen from this location and Carol from the Car Wash Uhaul are amazing!! I highly recommend this location and the Car Wash one by Cub Foods, I had an emergency move out situation and rented a uhaul that I found out later was too small for me and family’s belongings....I came to the Civic Center Drive location hoping that I could rent a larger size truck last minute praying for a miracle and I most definitely received it! They were able to make my last minute emergency switch and they allowed me to drive my uhaul over to the other location due to my vehicle being off the premises. Smooth process, courteous and polite staff! You guys rock!

Just had the best service from this location. The manager Shane stepped in when the employee was having difficulty with fixing something on our bill. Before I knew it, he was able to fix the problem and also gave an additional credit toward our bill. Our check in went perfect and our trip from Appleton was flawless. Will for sure use U-Haul again because of this experience.

Been here three separate times. The second time I was here I was helped within five minutes, got everything I needed handled, and the service was great. The first and last times I waited fifteen minutes without being spoken to. On my first visit there was never even an employee inside the shop. Im done trying, get boxes elsewhere when you move. Maybe the other Rochester locations are better but 1 out of 3 attempts to get help here means they clearly dont want business.

I have to give the staff here two thumbs up. They took my drop off after closing time on a holiday weekend. This focus on the needs of the customer was unexpected and so appreciated.I know where I will be renting next time the need arises!!

I rent from this place 10 or more times a year in and out of state. these guys are as good as it gets. Hands down. if you dont know that then you have not been around. Good job guys!

Very rude, I was sent 40 miles to go pick up my cash deposit when I was told I would get my deposit back from where I dropped it off. After I drove 50 min to go get it was told I have to drive back because they would not do it the place that just sent me 40 miles had to do it, and when I said that was crazy to have me drive all that way again, I was told by the store manager that I have a half of a brain for doing what i was instructed to do by uhaul. Do not rent from this location!!!!!!

If Andrew Hays is there, you can count on it being an EXCELLENT Experience. Likewise IRA at Hadley View Location is TOP NOTCH. good job fellas.

The staff is fast, friendly, and courteous, they always go the extra mile to help you. I would recommend this U-Haul location to anybody who is needing storage, a moving truck, a hitch installed, or propane. Keep up the great work guys.

I rented a car trailer and used it for 6 hours but was charged for 2 days of use because they failed to check it back in when I returned it even though I stopped in the office and told them I had returned it. I called them twice and left messages for the manager but he never returned my calls.Update: Manager was on vacation but refunded the money when he got back. I have updated my review to reflect this.

Good place to rent vans and trucks. Staff is helpful and friendly. The location is kind of awkward to get into and the parking is not the greatest.

Absolutely terrible experience. Do yourself a favor- stay away from here!!! I arranged for 5 u-boxes 4 weeks before I needed them. The online service to do that was fine. But, once the service was transferred to the local U-Haul franchise things fell apart. Had to call multiple times to get the boxes delivered. Same for pick up. They stored the boxes for the week I was in between homes and it got even worse after that. Trying to get delivery to the new house was a nightmare, despite a clearly outlined contract as was arranged online. Phone calls and texts to the manager went unanswered. Initially told they were too busy to deliver, despite me calling 48 hr prior with an updated timeframe based on my house closing/mover reservation. They eventually delivered them, but blocked the driveway by leaving 2 in the street at the end of it, and put one directly in front of a fire hydrant. Then 48 hrs of me calling multiple times to this site, texting the manager, calling the manager directly (unanswered again), and calling the central office number, here I sit with all 5 u-boxes still waiting for pick up with no plan in place. Oh yeah- the one reply I did get was the manager telling me he was out of town this Friday afternoon (today), and to call his assistant. I call BS- that’s your job dude, not mine, to delegate to your employee.

We rented a cargo van for 20$+10$ damage waver +60 cent a milethe van was big,new and cleanThe annoying part is filling the gas because you dont get it full so you need to put the exact amount of gas... other than that it was just fineWill rent there again if I need to

So easy and simple!We made a resevation online, came in to take the truck and brought it back few houres later...Too bad there are not enough parking spots.

Went above and beyond as I needed help with my defective lights on hitch when I got there and they took great care of me....

Had to wait a long time due to short staffing. Also had minor panic when a computer glitch said they had just sent out our ubox with another person.

These guys REALLY go out of their way to please you....see Andy if it can be fixed hes the man for the job. PS clean and storage too!

Staff is not friendly. They watched me struggle with a wardrobe box and never helped. In fact, the girl behind the counter just laughed. When I bought these at a store in FL, they helped me load everything in my car. Not a first good impression....will not go back.
