I had a saxophone that had been sitting in my closet for a number of years. After hesitating for years to sell it due to sentimental value, I finally decided that it would be better served for someone to enjoy this instrument, and so I asked around for recommendations on places that might buy/sell used instruments. Several people recommended Paul and his shop, so I decided to give him a try. Paul proved to be very knowledgeable, far, and above all honest. I felt the price that he originally quoted seemed very fair, so imagine my surprise when he contacted me to say that not only was he able to find a buyer, but he was able to get more than the original quote. I would highly recommend Abel Brass if you are looking to buy, sell, or have an instrument repaired.
Daughter got her mouthpiece stuck on a trumpet, he took care of it no charge and on the spot! Great service and very nice place....will be returning for any service needed.
The guy has his own small shop where he repairs instruments. I had an old trombone that had seen better days. He did a tremendous job getting all the old stuff off, rust removed, dents out, and a new coat on. He did it all for a lower price than the other places offering the same service (by around a hundred bucks less). He has solid craftsmanship.
The proprietor has repaired my childrens flutes over the years. Very competent and kind.
Professional, prompt, and kind! My flute was sitting in the basement for about 10 years and he repaired it so it looks and sounds brand new. He even got out a dent I made in 11th grade band practice. The price is very reasonable, too, for a specialized skill. Highly recommend!
He fixed a leaking pad on my saxophone in about 15 minutes and it plays perfect now! He is so polite and fast, great service!
Great service
Great work by Paul, trombone looks brand new and very reasonable price!
Fixed my mouthpiece in 5 minutes, will return for additional repairs
