Had some real issues after a paint job with no response from customer service. Just be careful, take photos before and after. Hope that they will be peaceful and work with you if there are problems.

Horrible Experience; unprofessional and caused extensive further damage to my car. Gave them several opportunities to fix but did nothing regarding the quality of the repair. If you care about your car dont take it to Maaco because you will be disappointed. Take this as a warning -

I am very unhappy with the way my paint job turned out. I took my truck to be painted in May of 2020. I returned to pick it up on 6/19/2020. I complained that there were runs in the paint, waves and it was bumpy. I was told they would fix it. So I left my truck at Maaco again. I returned in a month to pick up my truck and nothing had changed. It was still runny, wavy, and bumpy. Just an over all sloppy paint job.

We got so lucky to find this place! We had a minor incident on our 2020 Chevy Silverado where we scraped and dented the side of our truck, we went and got quotes from 2 other places prior to Maaco and were quoted $1,500+ to fix our truck up. Maaco quoted us $625- but we had to wait a week to bring it in as they were super busy. We brought our truck in on a Monday and picked it up on a Friday. Paid $600!! And the truck looks GREAT! Its as if the minor incident never happened, their workmanship is amazing for the super low prices they charge and all the staff was great. I can see why theyre super busy now, you cant beat their work or prices! We will be back if needed, and will recommend this place to others as well. Thanks so much Maaco!

We would like everyone to know how pleased we were with the service that Bill and Vincent provided to us in taking care of our 19 year old Dodge Dakota pickup. It was hit by a deer and at first we thought that with the age of the truck, that we should just leave it. But, glad we changed our minds because Vincent repaired the fender and painted it plus painted the hood and other fender. Truly, it looks like new. Plus, we had it back in less than a week. During that time, they kept thanking us for being so patient. We were the ones that needed to thank them. Over the years, we have used other Maacos in the area as we live in Charlotte but none can compare to the Rock Hill location. So glad that our son brought in there for an estimate. Thank you, guys and keep up the great work.

The owner of the facility likes to hustle customers into paying more money than they should and when he meets with resistance he says go to Charlotte and have Maaco do it there for you. Looks like a money laundering operation to me since he clearly didn’t need my money for the basic $499 paint job.

I called to inquire about getting my car repaired and painted the guy over the phone would not let me get a word in... very rude... I told him they were about to lose a potential customer he said said he didnt care and to go somewhere else... i wouldnt trust people like this to repair my car

Took my Jeep in to get the whole driver side repainted due to a very long and very deep scratch that went down the whole side of the car. They had it ready a day before it was supposed to be done which was awesome and very convenient. My Jeep looks amazing, they also cleaned the outside of it to where it looks brand new. Color matched and everything, which I was a little worried about because my car is an odd color. You cant even tell it was ever messed up in the first place. Highly recommend. I will add pictures.

Never again.. told 2 weeks took 2 months nothing is aligned right they didnt even clean my car and they left some tools in my engine bay and after 2 weeks I got bubbles in my paint.. never again will i use this company

Rock Hill location of Maaco does things right! Got my Ranger pickup repainted, same color. Great job! Looks like it did when it came off the showroom floor! However, the bodywork that I had asked to get done was left off the shop order, and therefore hadnt been completed. I talked to Vincent, who had done my estimate. His reply? If youre not happy, were not happy. So I just picked the vehicle today and everythings done that I wanted done! These guys are a class act! My only complaint is that I wish they did a better job of keeping me informed of the status of the project. They never initiated a call; I had to call to get updates.

Had my car for 4days.no repairs done, owner keep calling me been disrespectful and cursing me because I would leave my car at his shop.

I went to Maaco as a suggestion by another shop, I was told Vince would be able to take care of me and get my minor front end damaged in a few days, so I take my car in on a Wednesday I get a pretty reasonable estimate and am told to drop my car off next Monday, which I do. I then call to follow up 7 days later (following Monday) to discover that they haven’t even began to take apart and inspect for more damage underneath.(after I was told that my car will be done in time to get back to work) spoiler alert it wasn’t. 16 days after I dropped my car off it is finished (well finished for their standards). My left floodlight dosnt even work, both of my headlights are missing a bolt, my damaged weather guard for my front bumber and hood is bent and chipped(which will rust) as well as the rubber part being over sprayed allowing water to go into my engine bay. My badge was sloppily but on with some tips of glue(not the correct manufacture adhesive) the glue is on the front bumper and the front of the badge. My fender was not correctly put on and makes noises during turning. My hood wobbles and lifts up about 1/2-1 inch when driving at interstate speeds. And last but not least my alignment was not checked or fixed after I brought my car with front end damage into a shop which I think would be common sense, or even checked after they did their repairs. I am bringing my car back in and will likely have to a couple more timesIf you do come here just expect to come back because I can almost guarantee something will be incorrect about your repair.

Terrible service and extremely rude. Started by (profanely) insisting on payment prior to performing the work. Then I gave in and tried to pay over the phone, but he didnt have time to take the payment.They might do great work (not sure), but I was so surprised at how rudely we were treated.

The gentlemen who work here at Maaco in Rock Hill are Amazing! Truly the most kind, helpful and sincere guys you will meet. These guys have helped me on two different occasions and and I had a great experience each time. Yesterday, my side view mirror on my drivers side got knocked off. I did not feel safe driving young children on the interstate and so I went by Maaco first thing before work. Bill greeted me and understood my predicament and he made arrangements to have my mirror delivered, painted, and installed same day. Bill and his parts guy, Chris, worked together to ensure that my mirror was painted in time for me to drop my car by before I picked up my daughter from school. They also buffed out a few scratches on my drivers door for me! Previously, I had the pleasure of working with Vince to get a headlight fixed. Never again will I go here. Told my car would be ready on a Thursday that turned into 2 weeks. Didn’t put stripes back on my car when they promised to. Paint was on tinted windows. Door jams discolored. Owner was just rude. Whole experience was just bad.

I worked with Vincent and the owner, Bill, before getting my work done. They were both very professional and courteous.When it was time to pick up my vehicle, I had an issue with the finish work. The gentleman I was working with (neither of the two I mentioned above) hesitated to do anything to make it right. Bill overheard us and stepped in. He went above and beyond what I expected to make it right.I had to follow up with him the next day, and Bill was again honest and professional, standing by his word.It was refreshing to not feel that everyone at a place like this was out to get me.

Hello,I took my car to this Maaco earlier this year because my car needed a paint job from years of damage from the elements. Got my car painted with everything looking great, but I saw a small place on the front where it was flaking a bit. I called Bill, when I took my car down there the first time I could tell he was a fast talker trying to talk is way out of situations due to his personality. He told me to bring the car down on Wednesday or Thursday, but call beforehand to let him know I am coming. When Tuesday came around I called, in turn he stated that I should bring it the next day. I drove down to Maaco the next day and he said that the car will be done on Saturday, with me saying that I would not be able to pick it up by 12pm when they close on Saturdays. Bill said that I could come by after I get off at work at 3pm and he would have the car out for me to take. I go on Saturday when he told me to, but my car is locked up in their garage. When I pick it up on Tuesday of next week, because when I call on Monday they said they will not have it ready until Tuesday now, I tell Vincent about what happened with Bill because Bill left early that day, Vincent agreeing with me that they Bill was unprofessional. After I get home I initially didnt notice anything wrong until I tried to wash it a few days later with the spot they fixed running on the car. I called Bill again and I told him what happened to my car, in turn telling me to bring it early on Monday before he gets a lot of cars later in the week. When I take it on Monday Bill tells me that he will have it done on Tuesday, but call him before I come. On Tuesday I call and Bill says he had three employees call out this week so he will have it ready the next day, Wednesday. Wednesday comes I call and he tells me to come on Friday now!! When I go on Friday Bill is talking to a customer so I have to talk with Vincent, now feeling it is a lost cause to talk to them again about my frustrations. Price was good for the service, but having to get my car fixed twice with all the lies about when it would be ready is definitely not worth it. Bill knew he was not getting any money for the fixes after the first paint, so he would put other cars before me during the week. I would go to Maaco again, but not this one!!

Get some spray paint and do it your self...It would look better

These are the kind of people I like to deal with! I have a 93 Toyota pickup and I am the original owner. It isnt a collectable show car but it deserves a nice paint job. At a regular body shop it simply cost more than the truck was worth to paint it. Then I found Maaco. Vince and Bill are great!! They know how to paint a vehicle and they know how to laugh and be social. Fun guys! You dont know who you are dealing with until something goes wrong. Something did go wrong, so I went back. Talk about service with a smile, these guys know what this means. Fixed the problem, no questions asked. Both times it took right at two days. I cant say you will get your car done in two days but I dont see, two days turning into two weeks. I like things done the right way and Maaco Rock Hill knows how to do it the right way.

Maaco Rock Hill is an excellent company to have your vehicle painted. I dropped my mothers 1996 Dodge Stratus off Monday April 20 and April 23 they called to say they were completed. The paint results and service there is absolutely top notch. Her car had bad paint peel and in some areas the metal was showing. Now the car looks brand new and shines bright. I would recommend Maaco Rock Hill to anyone. Everyone was great to work with.

I scheduled an appointment to have my husbands car painted for his birthday - the bumper, spoiler, gas cap and some small touch up spots. They seemed a little surprised to see me the morning I brought it in but nonetheless taped the spots I wanted painted and took the car. It took a day or two longer than expected but I didnt want to rush them so we were patient and learned to cope as a one vehicle family. We went to pick the car up this morning and it looks so fantastic! The perfect color match to the original paint. All my life I have heard the rumor that Maaco is not a very good paint job but I am super impressed by what they did and would use them again/recommend them in a heartbeat. They missed one small spot so they washed the car and touched it up, gave us the bottle of touch up, and offered to completely rebuff the entire car one Saturday morning at my convenience. When I paid, Bill said that it did not come out to as much as originally quoted so that honesty really impressed me. I am talking my dad into having his whole truck painted here. Really a top notch location with really skilled/nice people working here.

After doing research in my area, this location had one of the highest ratings. I was told my vehicle would be ready within 6 or 7 days. I waited until the seventh day before even calling as I was trying to be patient. However, once I called I was told that my car would not be ready until 4 more days as they had not even started on my vehicle. I am extremely unhappy with the lack of customer service. I will not be taking my vehicle back to this location. Your word is all you have in this world. This shop was by far the biggest disappointment.

I had some damage to my car, I didnt want to go thru the insurance if I could help it! So dreading going to get estimates I tried Macco on Cherry road first!! Im so glad I did!! What a wonderful experience, Chris is wonderful, very busy, but he takes the time for you!! I left feeling so happy & grateful !! Needless to say I didnt go anywhere else! Paint all over the tire and rim on the bumper and trim.All the frame and Windows.bad spot you could tell where it was because pit holes could be seen.the rails and tailgate cover wasnt bolted back on.The bolts was laying inside of the truck.I wasnt happy with the job what so ever.My buddy paid 1100.00.Its his truck I just took it out there for him.Because he was in the hospital they have the truck back now hopefully it will be right this time.The paint job looked good expect for a few runs in the paint which I show him.

Defiantly the best experience I have had with a body shop. My car is my baby! I got in a wreak and had to get the front of my car paint matched. I thought my car would never be the same or look as good as it did. But the guys at Macoo in Rock Hill made my car look better then before. I was shocked. My car is a 2006 silver car which means the car being that old the factory paint was faded which would mean trying to match the paint would be difficult this was my biggest concern. but I cant even tell a difference in the paint. It looks amazing! I dont know how they did it but I am so thankful my car was in their care. I researched probably 10-15 different companies to fix my car and as soon as I talked to Bill at Maaco I knew I found the right place he was knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. If your car is your baby and you need a nice, affordably priced place that you can tell actually cares about the customer. Maaco in rock hill is defiantly the place to go!

Vincent is a great auto body mechanic. Prices are reasonable and they get your vehicle back to you in a sufficient amount of time.

Super sketchy. Got told our work would be done by a certain time and were called to come in to pick up. Paint was still wet and had minor scratches. They said if we paid cash they would knock the price down. Gave me the vibe that it was under the table. Looks okay for as cheap as it was. Will definitely get it done again before we sell the vehicle, but will go somewhere else.

After an initial miscommunication between store personnel regarding the paint color desired, Bill, Vince, and Chris did an excellent job on my Tundra. They even applied some rubbing compound to the lenses while I waited. It was a pleasure working with them and I’ll be sure to visit them again in the future with any paint or bodywork needs.

My husband got hit by a piece of drywall going down HWY. 161 2 weeks ago. The driver of service truck failed to stop. You can imagine how terrifying it was for my husband. When it was over and he walked away without a scratch the fun began. He realized that our truck could be driven. So he went back to work. At work he scheduled to have the windshield replaced the next day. Due to being shook up he came home. When I looked at the Rav 4 SUV. I saw a busted windshield, 2 deep scratches on hood and 1 on drivers door by the mirror. Bent side mirror and a broken headlight. We have a 11 year old SUV with 175,000 miles. But the truck is in great condition. So we debated new SUV vrs. repair. My husband called Maaco. They talked and concluded that the truck could be fixed for around 3,000 dollars. Price tag for most body shops about $8,000. New SUV about $ 38,000. The owner assured us that the RAV 4 would come out nice. We took SUV over the next day. We had to rent a car for a week. We picked up the SUV a week later. Was I surprised at how good it looked. The only thing I noted was the plate over fuse box on bumper was missing. It most probably fell off during accident. The mechanic will order one for free. Great work !! Spot paint job is awesome. They also vacuumed out the glass on the carpet ; we more than likely will be picking up tiny glass for a while. Took a truck in to have a complete paint job done. After getting a call saying the truck was ready, I arrived to find my parts of my interior laying in the seat, dirt/mud in the carpet, dust all over the interior and exterior, and major blemishes and runs in the paint (what u could see thru the dust). There were even parts of other cars inside my truck laying on the seat and floor??? On the paint work- They did not use primer/sealer like they said they would use- Evident because body putty & body filler color was bleeding thru the paint. Primer/sealer before paint prevents bleed-thru from happening. The hood and roof looks as if it was painted outside as there’s a LOT of trash in the paint. To top it off the bed of the truck wasn’t even bolted down when I arrived to pick it up!! Question: WHY call to say the truck is ready when it’s in this condition??Had I asked for a $500 paint job I would understand. We all know that’s what Maaco is known for. However, I asked Bill if they were able to do “nicer” paint work. I explained I wanted extra care taken on this truck as it was a surprise for my Son. I even told him I’d pay more than the quote if he did a QUALITY job. He assured me he knew what I was asking for and it would not be a problem. Instead, I got that $500 paint job that cost me $1000! I’ve had several people see the truck and I gladly let their work do the advertising for them.

I took my 2014 Charger Rt to them to have the hood/both front fenders and rear quaterfixed...upon showing up to pick up my car I was shocked at how great it looked! they even painted the rear and front bumpers to match and didnt charge extra!...and upon paying for my car the guy hands me a $20 back and says put that in the tank!!!! Ive been to body shops that cost 5 times more and they were slower and work didnt deserve the praise Im giving now....they have a customer for life...and yup...THEYRE THAT GOOD.

Had my 2005 Chevy Silverado painted. They did a very good job. I did have to take it back but they fixed my problem. They are one company that does what they say. I highly recommend anyone needing a paint job to check them out.

Brought an old truck there for a mid level paint job($675). The paint had a two year warranty. Less than one year later it was peeling in several places. The initial paint job was like a marginal garage job- dirt in the paint in places, trim damaged where it was pried off and a couple of runs. I brought it back two times to have the peeling addressed and each time the quality got worse- overspray, color mismatch and the paint in other areas was also beginning to peel. When I sold the truck (I was up front about the paint issues) the buyer, after looking at the paint said,yup, its a Maaco paint job. Dont risk it.

The pollin has been extremely bad this year!!!!!!!!!!!! I really felt bad for the body workers at MAACO this past week because they had to deal with this awful pollin messing up their great paint and body work......I was always treated extremely well and kind when dealing with having my cars body work and paint done on my CRV. I would recommend them to anyone that wants to have a great job done at a more than reasonable price.....they are excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
