I had a wonderful experience at Honda Cars of Rock Hill. I recently moved to the area and needed to get both my 2020 Honda Pilot and my husband’s 2018 Honda Accord serviced. Finding a place we could trust was a little nerve wracking however, both of our expectations were exceeded.Both the technician, David, and the service representative, Tanaja, were thorough & informative during our maintenance visits. I received clear communication prior to, during, and after the work on my vehicle was completed. I would highly recommend Honda Cars!

Great experience when I bought my Honda Civic from the Honda dealership in Rock Hill. My salesman, Richard Clark was fantastic from start to finish. From answering my questions, to going over the paperwork about purchasing the vehicle, Richard was very helpful and knowledgeable. I would strongly encourage anyone who is looking to buy a Honda in Rock Hill to ask for Richard to assist them, and you will get a salesman, who is up front, honest, friendly, and is really good at his job.I cannot leave out the closing Finance Manager, who finished up my paperwork in Stephen Hambrick. My 2019 Odyssey has serious issues with the battery and the dashboard entertainment system. I brought these issues multiple times during servicing at Rock Hill Honda, but it was never fixed. All the time I would get an answer that the battery looks good no need to replace it. Two days out from the service center and I had to use a battery jumper. Happened more than 5 times now.The technician would say we have reset the dashboard entertainment system and the hissing sound/flickering/on-off/audio disabling issues should go away. It never did to date. Now Ive passed my warranty and looks like I will have to pay for the battery and dashboard issues. Its known that the 2019 Odyssey’s has battery and dashboard issues, but the Rock Hill Honda never fixed the issue after reporting multiple times in the past 3 years of warranty time.

Mike Glenn is by far the best service representative at Honda Cars of Rock Hill. I remembered him from assisting me before. After I was told today by another service person that they were booked today and could not check the air in my tires because I did not have an appointment, I asked Mike if my tires could get checked. He said of course they can. He personally checked the air pressure and added air to all 4 tires. Seriously, if you want someone who truly cares about the customer, ask for Mike Glenn. He’s top notch and I will not deal with anyone else there but him. Thanks, Mike!

My wait experience was set in a friendly atmosphere, where coffee, snacks, and entertainment were offered. Excellent customer service, quick and on-time. They respected my time and valued the importance of an appointment. Theres nothing worse than scheduling a time for a service and having to wait 30 minutes to an hour longer if the company is running late. I get it but sometimes you just want to get in and out.I also loved how the service tech didnt discuss what was going on with my car in front of others. He called me to the side to have a private conversation and provided all the details and next steps. I felt valued as if I was the only customer in the building. Ive been to other Honda dealerships but the Rock Hill store is now my new favorite.

On the afternoon of Saturday, July 10, my friend and I arrived at Honda Cars of Rock Hill to consider purchasing a manual-transmission “Certified Pre-Owned” 2017 Honda Civic LX that I’d been looking at online. Before we test drove the car, Senior Sales Consultant Tim Oakes gave us the CARFAX and a detailed list of what is inspected/addressed on Certified Pre-Owned vehicles. We took the Civic for a test drive and parked in a lot off the highway to thoroughly evaluate the car’s condition, finding a list of things wrong with the car, despite its relative new age. We took many pictures to present to Tim Oakes upon our arrival back at the dealership.The problems were myriad: the car was not clean, the windshield had many scratches measuring beyond four inches, the four tires were not of equal tread, there were various deeply rusted/scratched areas, and there was a cigarette burn on the backseat upholstery despite the CARFAX report listing the car as never had been smoked in (I could tell by the scent that wasn’t true). These were a few issues out of many that should have been noted and addressed considering the car was listed as Certified Pre-Owned, per the documents Tim Oakes gave us. The car was overpriced by about $3000–$4000, especially considering its condition.My phone rang at 5:50 pm, and it was Tim Oakes. I hadn’t realized how much time had passed and thought the dealership closed at 8:00 pm when, in fact, it closed at 6:00 pm. I apologized profusely and we hurried back to the dealership. Tim greeted me as I got out of the car, saying, “I think one of the appraisers [for a trade-in] is still here.” I had not at any point discussed trading in my car or wanting to buy the Civic.Tim asked me what I thought as we walked into the dealership and I said, “I [have] some things to talk about” with him. He had taken the dealer plate off the car, sat me down within his cubicle and returned several minutes later. During this time, my friend left to go to the restroom.Tim came back and sat down across from me at my desk. I asked him first if the car had spent any time at the coast because of the considerable rust issues. His reply was, “I don’t know.” I went down the list of areas of rust we found. He sat staring at me, stone-faced. He said, “It’s a used car and there are going to be issues.” I asked, “Are you all not willing to fix these things?” He said the car is Certified Pre-Owned and undergoes a 182-point inspection for safety, as if multiple rusted bolts and a highly damaged undercarriage aren’t safety issues.I continued mentioning other issues we found, like windshield scratches and a chip (also safety issues), which should’ve been fixed (windshield replaced) as a condition of the Certified Pre-Owned contract. Tim said, flatly, “This is a used car. If you want a new car with no problems, we can get you into a new car. I see you take care of your [used Ford Focus].” He then stated that he was going to get the manager to speak to me and walked away from the cubicle. I sat there dumbfounded by his disrespect and complete lack of interest in engaging in a dialog about fixing issues that were well within the capacity of and low cost for a dealership’s service center. Specifically due to Tim’s unwelcoming and clearly irritated demeanor, my friend and I immediately walked out of the dealership.I bought my beloved then-new 2004 Honda Civic Coupe at Hendrick Honda on South Boulevard and had nothing but good experiences with them, so I was sure I would have a good experience with another Hendrick dealership. Additionally, my brother-in-law is in management in the Hendrick dealership family, so Honda Cars of Rock Hill will be hearing about this experience via internal management. I really wanted to be able to do business with Hendrick again. Tim Oakes thought he only just gave up a used car sale with a small commission. He was wrong.

Haskell is the best salesperson! From calling my phone to opening the doors! I felt like I was family to actually come in and be greeted and treated like his own child. Haskell made sure my experience was the best especially with me being 21 and being a first time buyer. There was a down fall to the car, but I ended up being able to have the car and color that I want delivered to me. My service was completed at no charge because I am part of the service and oil change programs, but I was contacted to do a transmission flush at $200 (I declined for now). My car was there all day and when I picked up my car it wasn’t even run through the automatic car wash. I was surprised! I could’ve gone to a basic oil change spot for the same service faster- I was hoping for more at a dealership. It’s an easy/cheap way to do something extra for your customers.

Chris called first thing the next day and made sure that everything was done in time for me to pick up my family. I never used to be one to bring my car to the mechanic at the dealership before. But the Rock Hill Honda dealership has always been exceptional with pricing and with service. I brought my car in last weekend complaining of trouble with it starting and then shutting right back off, did it several times. I was braced for some very bad news with a hefty bill. Instead they found the issue was just a magnetic keychain I had which was interfering with my security system and shutting the car off. That’s all it was. They didn’t charge me at all for that part. I just got an oil change. It was such a relief! Not to mention the customer service has always been exceptional. The staff is friendly and accommodating and helpful. You guys have converted me into a loyal dealership customer.

Michael GlennMike with his very professional demeanor greeted me immediately upon arriving to the service bay. I was there for the 1st time but this was my 2nd service to my vehicle with a A16 displayed on the dashboard. Mike explained what it meant and what the service would entail.Curious about the time I would have to wait, I mentioned being tired from work. Mike got me in and out of the office in no time, arranged with the driver Marvin(safe driver😊) to have me safely shuttled home and back. Wrong choice that we based our decision on the reviews. They didn’t deliver the promised and they didn’t give us an on time update . We had follow with them about the status of the vehicle . In more than weeks of the car being the shop, the in-charge literally says they had over 90 cars in the shop. There were only few cars on the parking lot when we went by . Obviously, 90 cars can’t be stored inside the small shop. If they had that many cars for repairs, why still taking customers? We could have gone other collision shop that accommodate customer better. Never recommend this place ever!

I was about 10 minutes late because of traffic. I called to let them know and the person I spoke with was understanding and assured me this was not a problem. Although I got there late, they took care of me immediately. I was told it would take about 2 hours to do the procedure and that was very close to being correct. The service manager/representative was kind and he told me what had been done during the service. He even had my car washed for me. I was pleased with this experience.

I took my car in for an oil change, tire rotation, and recall on 2 items. When I checked in the staff were extremely friendly, prepared, and informative.They said my car may smell like gas for a few days, due to changing the fuel pump (recall), but it didn’t smell like gas at all!I’d gotten a coupon in the mail for an oil change and tire rotation, which came out to be around $50. Normally, even at non-dealerships, it’s about $100+ for my car. So I was very surprised and pleased with that outcome!On the other hand, I really hate how dealerships and auto shops always try to get you to spend hundreds of dollars on things that your car doesn’t need yet. During my appt, they called me saying my car needs the transmission fluid and a filter changed, which would’ve come out to over $200.I bought my 2019 Honda Accord Sport brand new. It has under 33k miles, so still pretty new.... my transmission fluid doesn’t need to be changed for about another 30k miles. And my normal, highly trusted mechanic, will tell me when my filters need to be changed. -_-Other than that, I really had a fabulous experience!!

We were looking for a couple of older cars for our teenagers and found one on Hendrick’s website that was located at Honda Cars of Rock Hill. We spoke with a gentleman on the phone the night before and he set us up an appointment to talk with Richard in the sales department the next morning. We went, talked to Richard about the vehicle, drove it, and then ended up purchasing it at the time. He was very courteous and wasn’t pushy at all. I purchased a Honda Passport about a month ago. Very happy with my purchase, I’m just not happy with the dealership. They do not keep their promise to honor a pricing mistake on the vehicle. I realize that I signed the contract and I’m held to that, but after spending 6 hours trying to negotiate on my trade and then the purchase price of the new vehicle I was tired and the finance manager did not really spend a lot of time with me when signing the contract. Again I’m responsible for what I sign. I have brought this error to the dealership, even went as far as to write a letter to the General Manager and have not heard ANYTHING back. I will never be recommending Honda Cars of Rock Hill to anyone. Very disappointed by the lack of communication and also I can’t trust them because they can’t kept their word on honoring a pricing mistake on their end.

Im on my fourth Honda and I always have them serviced by my Honda dealer. This was my first time at Honda Cars of Rock Hill (after relocating here from Syracuse NY) and I was very pleased by the service and customer care I received. I arrived early for my appointment but they took my car in right away, called me when it was done and explained all the details of the service to me. The prices was very reasonable. The dealership is located conveniently right off the highway and making an appointment online was easy. I will definitely continue to bring my CRV to Honda Cars of Rock Hill and purchase my next Honda here as well.

Mike Glenn at Honda Cars of Rock Hill, SC was excellent. He took my car right in and started servicing my car. My AC was blowing hot air, so he advised on getting the diagnostic test run on it. I bought my Pilot from Cam in 2019 and I LOVE it! (He was an amazing salesperson to work with by the way. Never any pressure and was very patient with me. Never pushy at all)I have always gotten my service performed there and everyone goes out of their way to help accommodate me during my stay. Lets talk about 1 of the 7 deadly sins,Greed.The limited edition Type R that is in the showroom has 15,000 dollars tacked on for a ceramic coating and tinted windows. Now lets look to reality a good ceramic coating costs 3 maybe 4 thousand dollars and tinted windows are about 300.00 dollars. Rick Hendrick should absolutely be ashamed of this dealership.

I needed my battery looked at as it was corroding and Michael Glenn came and did a quick clean and let me know that I didnt have to have it replaced, but that I needed to use baking soda and water once in a while to get rid of the corrosion! He was very kind and helpful!

We recently purchased a vehicle at Honda Cars of Rock Hill, and were totally satisfied with every aspect of the experience. Purchasing a car can be a very stressful process depending on the approach taken by the dealership, but this was hassle free and everyone we met with was low key and helpful. We especially appreciated the assistance of our sales associate, Richard Clark. He went far above and beyond what we expected, and was a delight to work with. We strongly recommend Richard to anyone considering a visit to this dealership!

I just want to take a moment and say the service was amazing here. My wife had a total loss situation on her car and we were trying to find something new for her to drive. Cameron McGrath was the sales consultant we worked with and I just have to say he was very genuine and awesome to work with. Inevitably it all came down to overall cost and what my wife was wanting to drive. We didnt go with the car that day, but I will use Honda in the future if I ever plan on purchasing a new vehicle. I wish there were more sales consultants like Cameron McGrath. A+ on the service.

I had an appointment to fix a slow leak in my tire and I was quickly helped, explained what was going on, and set to go. The team was knowledgeable and friendly. The waiting room was social distanced and had an offering of free coffee/tea as well as a couple vending machines.

Had my vehicle polished and they polished it no problem.only forgot to wipe car down before doing it.it has water spots under polish .not happy with that.it happens every time I get it polished.

This has been our third time purchasing from this dealership and every time was perfect! Wonderful friendly staff. Brandon Grubb has always been our go to salesman, he is very knowledgeable and efficient. Upgraded from a CRV to a pilot and love it! Very spacious . Great place to go if you are looking for a vehicle.
