Pricey but knows its audience. Has grind-your-own fresh nut butters which dont have any scorched taste; large section of food you can buy in bulk (to reduce one-use plastic) including in 2021; and large selection of vegan and organic foods, including large deli with prepared foods. Also sells hippie-type hygiene products. If you arent concerned about price, Earth Fare is worth checking out. However, if you are a bargain-shopper, this likely isnt going to be your favorite stop.

This was my go to store for my allergy child! Really sad to see them go!!

Prices are way too high in comparison to other grocery stores in this area that sells the same product. The staff is nice. If something is labeled “on sale” they are no Publix which will give you it to you for free NOR do they give it to you for the mentioned price. I was disappointed and don’t think I’ll return.

We love shopping here and other Earth Fares. The selection of food and meats and fish is by far better than any other store. Prices are good too and you know you are getting a decent product. Most things organic aren’t really organic but you can count on being a better product. And their olive bar is 💯 - must like olives.

Great for specialty items and organic products, I just wish they had more vegan options. I was looking for more of the forager products or anything that was dairy free and I didn’t see many options.

Was excited about the decision to keep Earth Fare in Rock Hill SC but after going to shop there today they should have shut it down. The strawberries were rotten.the onions were slimy the zucchini were wrinkled and dried up. The selection of everything was very slim. When we checked out the cashier started waiting on the next customer before she even finished bagging our groceries she just stopped waiting on us and started with the next customer. WOW what a huge disappointment. Will never go back and would not suggest anyone shop there if I could give zero stars that would express my visit better

Compared to Publix and Harris Teeter, theyre sushi is the BEST! On the downside, their pastries are expensive and often stale.

Cool place to shop. I asked where the pimento cheese was and they made some for me.

Neat store. Really enjoyed shopping here, while here for business. I am lowering the stars because once home I looked at my receipt and was overcharged for all 6 items that I bought. It was a mix pack of beer for a customer that loves craft beer. There is supposed to be a discount given on a make-your-own pack. None was give.

Earth Fare offers decent deals on health food. You do have to stay in touch and stay tuned to ads to get these deals. They are the only store in the area that offers certain health and wellness related items. Usually these organic and healthy food items are very very expensive but when you look at the long term benefits it does outweigh the price and Earth Fare does not really charge that much more than their competitors, in fact they may even be among the cheapest.The customer service here is very good. You will run into a lot of eccentric characters thats for sure. They have a conveyor belt of very awesome people that have worked at this place. That is the problem. That is why I give them 3 stars. They seem to not treat their employees as well as they should. Their employees seem like genuinely good individuals that are beat up while working here. Something is missing, something needs to be done better.

Good selection and very nice staff.An anecdote: we recently called up the pizza shop in the store asking if we could get a pizza with vegan cheese. Without missing a beat, they said they would absolutely be able to do that and went over to the produce department to get some vegan cheese. Arriving the pizza chef declared that he had made a labor of love and showed us the resulting pizza. It didnt just look good but tasted good as well. I cant speak highly enough about how nice this was and what a pleasant experience it turned out to be. Strongly recommend!

The staff is very friendly and eager to help out customers. They also have a great selection of food on their hot bar and in the deli. The food is always fresh and delicious. The store seems well stocked and contains plenty varieties of brands. I also love that their bakery has vegan and non-vegan dessert options. Their vegan everything cookie is to die for!

This place has everything for people with a restricted diet either medically or by choice. I cant even go into everything that they have among medicines, soaps, and of course food. My favorite thing is on Fridays they have large organic $5 pizzas that you can take home and bake. I think that they only come in cheese and pepperoni but I usually have all kinds of vegetables at home that Ill spice it up with. This place is great and I hear one will be opening in Fort Mill soon and Im sure itll do great and Im already ready for it.

I could live inside this store! I love the soap line Earth Fare and my favorite is the olive oil and see salt bars. Im addicted to this place! Great service, convenient location, clean store and varieties are awesomeness

Nice store~ sometimes you can find the same products for cheaper at different stores. $1-3 cheaper maybe more. The parking is crammed. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

I have a love hate relationship with this place. As a vegan its hard to not go bc they offer so much for the vegan & organic lifestyle. Ive had quite a few issues with rude employees but then again there are many nice ones. The prices are high on some things then again they have great sales. With that being said 50% of the time their sale prices do not ring up correctly so you have to eyeball every single transaction which is ridiculous. They used to have great take n bake pizzas, my family used to pick one up every week & then they decided to shrink their pizzas. They are absolutely sad & pathetic now & they didnt even lower the price. Have no idea why they would do something like that. Then they started with the $5 everyday sushi, the chef says yes its $5 but of course it doesnt ring up $5 & nobody knows why. Basically they really need to get their stuff together. Ive been shopping there for 2 years now & its been consistently like this so far. Actually so many markets carry vegan options now theyre not even really a necessity.

I love the experience you have when coming here. Lots of products to choose from, friendly staff, and the fresh atmosphere. One of their best products is the cookies they make, especially chocolate chip and macaroons!

Customer service and the quality of produce was below expectations to put it simply. If problems arent met with in-store solutions, or concern at the very least, then online accountability it is. The produce was portioned too small in comparison to precedence. Also, certain produces were not fresh and were wilted. I informed the cashier, and they seemed to be more concerned with rebuttal and excuses rather than the congenial feedback they were given. The other staff was far from welcoming or friendly, at least the cashier was amiable. You guys have set high standards, please keep them or hire employees that will. Ahem.

Enjoyed the hot bar and salad bar. I was able to find some things which are unavailable near where I live. Friendly staff except 1 guy in the deli who must have been having a bad day. Would recommend shopping there.

Wonderful store. A bit pricey but worth it. I agree with one of the other reviews on the coffee kiosk. I travel a fairly good distance to get to the store to shop for organic foods and like to grab a coffee for the trip home but, the last couple of times Ive been in there was no one available to purchase coffee from!On a more positive note...I really love the selection and appreciate you all for helping me stay healthy. Friendly and informative staff too. I have never had anyone tell me its not their area! Thank you and keep doing what youre doing!

The store closes two hours before the deli closes and they are unable to access the food that is already prepped. That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. I went in to get some mock chicken salad two hours before closing, but they were unable to access what is clearly accessible because of these reasons. I do not recommend this location, as I have been to other Earth Fare Stores that take no issue with that whatsoever, and its because when you work in a grocery store, you work the whole store. This is coming from a veteran of grocery, and I am highly disappointed. Do better.

Great Store but like most it is pricey. Still I lean toward organic because of the toxic stuff in our food.The problem came upon check out when we were handed a card which I thought was for one of those store cards. When I went to the site, there is a video you can watch....the two girls are playing with one of those witchcraft games. I am a christian and this is just dark and demonic. It totally took away the nice experience for me. It seems this is a corporate idea...not individual store idea. I do hope they rethink this idea because I will have to refuse this card if I return. Nothing wrong with the store itself and not bashing anyone elses belief....this is just mine. Thanks for listening.

As Im somewhat new to Rock Hill ( 2 yrs) Ive only shopped this store 4-5 times. My initial visit was a quest for Reggiano Parmigiana. One of the folks in the cheese dept pointed me in the right direction, saying it was on sale. Happy me!A subsequent visit for Cotija cheese led me to ask someone in the cheese dept for assistance., as I couldnt find any. The reply was: Well, we dont carry Cotija because its made with preservatives and we dont carry cheeses made with preservatives. It wasnt stated as an informative point of info; it was dripping with disdain, which wasnt much appreciated on my end. Unhappy me :-(Overall...its Whole Foods pricing but the product line up, especially the produce, doesnt begin to match.

I ordered a fruit tray from Earth Fare for a brunch that I recently had at my house for a bride. When I ordered it the week before, I told them that I wanted one for about 25 people with pineapple, strawberries, cantaloupe, and grapes. I told them no honeydew and very little watermelon. My husband picked it up for me and when I looked at it, I was just shocked. There was not one piece of cantaloupe and no strawberries at all. It was just a platter with big chunks of pineapple and chunks of watermelon, covered with blackberries, blueberries, and dark grapes. It looks like all they did was dump a few containers of berries all over it. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I had worked really hard on the food for this brunch, but THIS was so poorly done and not at all what I asked for. Of course, by the time I got it, it was too late to do anything about it. I called and let them know, but I can promise you that I will not be getting another one from them. There was no excuse for this. Next time Ill go to Harris Teeter or Publix.

Earth Fare is a really great organic store used to be that they really educated to staff and everything about the store and what they carry and even the process of how its grown in processed but it seems now theres not as much of that going on if you ask an employee for help us doesnt mean youre going to get it

Kept driving past one of their stores. Finally had the time to stop by. Granted organic is more expensive; however, their prices are crazy high. $45 for 2 half full bags of fruit and vegetables (no odd or strange items). I will just go to a good grocery store and get organics there and pay half or less. Their variety is also lacking. They seem to emphasize wine more then basic groceries. All the above adds up to an unexpected conclusion: mostly interested in separating customers from their cash.

Visiting Rock Hill, needed a few supplies, found this place online. What a nice shop! Clean, well-stocked, nice staff. Even had beer and wine.

This is my jam! All organic, non-gmo, no high fructose corn syrup, hormone free, cage free, grass fed- and Im only paying $20 more a week than I was a Publix! Its so worth it knowing my child is getting the best food possible for health! I have a feeling stores like this are going to put standard grocery stores out of business one day... once the demand goes up! Its amazing!

The employees in the prepared food/deli section are rude. The meat section is rarely ready for business before noon. Dont waste your time if you need anything at this store in the morning....theyre never ready for customers.

I went to purchase a cup of coffee there this morning but there were no small cups. Once I told the clerk about this, more cups were brought out. I was going to use the half and half in my coffee but the container was empty. The clerk filled up the container. She was not very customer service friendly about the whole time consuming situation. When I went to check out, the clerk asked me if I found everything that I was looking for and I advised her that the bins for organic popcorn were empty and her reply was huh? The store was remodeled but the customer service is as bad as ever and it needs a makeover.

I love this store I just wish the stuff wasnt so expensive. I only shop here when something I use is on sale. They have a wide variety of teas which I love

This was my first time going in to an organic food store an I loved it was just going grab a few things but u no how that is but anyways I was getting my stuff to fix for work like my sandwich so I decided to try the black foster ham oh boy im glad I did like the other comments said it is a little $pricey$ but worth it. I cant eat our food we have now or how should I word it our fast-food restaurant that has all them chemical an gluten in them it just want stay on my stomach: ( but this will I think ill go by tomorrow for lunch before work time I just wish they had 2 liter cokes but they did have bottled coke best drink I had in long time thanks

Great food, horrible service. I have been going to Earth Fare for years all over the Carolinas when I travel for business, and I started going to the Cherry Rd location two years ago when my wife and I moved here. The deli hipster adolescents need a lesson in manners, to put it lightly. Every time I go to the deli to place an order, I am greeted with a begrudging, ill-tempered employee on every occasion. They stare at me blankly without a word when I order. Quite frequently, they get my sandwich order wrong, and when asked to correct it, they act as though they are the ones being inconvenienced. I have also noticed employees arguing with one another in front of customers. Upon checking out the clerks often neglect to bag my items resulting in me bagging my own groceries. I hope to see improvements, otherwise I will have to take my business elsewhere.

I enjoy that I can stop in and get healthy lunch options in a hurry. The lady at the sushi bar is great!

Love the products, hate the service. In the past year I have shopped quite a bit at Earth Fare, but I have never had a single person in this store say thank you to me. For these kind of prices, I expect someone to express some appreciation for the fact that I have chosen to spend my money at Earth Fare.Someone needs to do a better job of customer service training at this store, because it is sorely lacking. I will think long and hard before I spend my hard-earned money where Im clearly not appreciated.

They say they stand behind their sales but they do not. Most of their stuff is overpriced. Specialty dept clerks not very knowledgable. Sold me bad salmon and would not make good on it. I will stick with Publix. They are miles ahead of earthfare in pricing, product, and customer service. Not enough hippie in this old gal to keep me going here 😟 I will drive to pineville to go to sprouts if needed and hope they open one here to suppmement Publix

I purchased a ultramist diffuser from there. It was never used and it was broken. I did not have the receipt and I wanted to exchange it. Not refund but exchange it. They would not. Disappointing.

The sunday burgre bucks is great.. Their Tuesday night Prime Rib Dinner cant be beat. The personell really do a great job in presentation and in making the food very tasty. The manager of the store will spend time to help answer questions and everyone that works there will go out of their way to assist you and make you feel at home. They also stand behind their foods and will take something back with no hassle. The weekly freebees are just an extra to make this a great store.I would rate it excellent mainly due to the great personell. I would and have recommended it to my friends and family.

Deli was out of several items as usual. Text messages and emails sent out to customers are often incorrect. As anyone that has ever shopped there already knows, the prices are obsene. Earth Fare as a company has very poor management from top to bottom.

Expensive but worth it for the few things I buy here. The hot bar is delicious.
