Helpful, friendly staff that are willing to answer any questions and make recommendations. Rental equipment in good shape and ran flawlessly. A great experience overall.

Extremely impressed -- Im an engineer so I have rented equipment from other locations in the past, best up-front customer service I have ever received from a rental store!!! I worked with Chris S. to rent a 50ft articulating boom lift. He went above and beyond to talk through options (50ft vs 60ft), job site location, detailed weight and access questions (across my concrete driveway) etc... This was not just Option A vs. Option B, he really showed a high level of technical knowledge and customer service as he answer my questions and tried to help me select the best unit for my specific needs. Plus, this was not an up-sell the best unit was actually lower cost. This is the kind of service that will keep me coming back for my next rental needs.

The item rented was exactly what I requested and was in great condition. The entire process of renting was a breeze!

Our company uses United Rentals a lot. They have good rental equipment and they usually have what you want when you call. If not, they will find it at another location for you.

Had a roof job we need a lull for. Got it for monthly rate. We had it for 3 months and 10 days (+-). They stopped the monthly rate and charged us weekly then daily....to an amount OVER the monthly charge we initially had...guy on end of phone was rude enough to get hung up on after talking over any questions we had, refused a prorate (even got angry at the notion)... I mean, SUNBELT will be seeing us for ANY rental we need. Never again UR. Never again. Review your contract folks. AND ASK QUESTIONS PRIOR TO RENTAL. Too many extra charges

Showed up on a Friday afternoon to pick up a lift we had reserved several days prior. Guy at the counter looked us up in the computer and said oh yea we dont have the lift here. I told the guy that I had spoken to him on the phone and when the reservation was made I was told to show up to this Rock Hill location on Friday afternoon between 3-5pm. His response was Yea, well the lift isnt here. He didnt seem to care and made no attempt to try to get a lift from another store location brought to us or see if they could upgrade us to a different lift. Because of this we had to cancel our customers job which left us with a very unhappy customer and cost us money.I have used United Rentals in the past but I will never again use them. Very disappointing customer service.

Ive been going to United Rental since it was known as Genes Rental. They always have what I need, and it always works.
