I have tried repeatedly calling this place, they must have gone out of business. No one answers the phone, no answering service / a voicemail, no message. I will drive a hundred miles to get there if they have what I need, but I wont drive a hundred miles to see if they have what I need.Updating my review:Last week I continued trying to get hold of the Sears Hometown. I went online to try to find another number, including going through the Sears website and customer service there. Was not able to find another number oh, and the phone number available still does not produce any answer ever. A district manager with Sears had left a post with an email address to contact him about my issue. I emailed the district manager and explained how I was trying to buy a freezer and was needing to do something soon. That was four days ago, And I still have not been contacted. Not sure whats going on with this store, if they have closed or are just depending on Old technology oh, maybe you have to call Martha at the switchboard and have her connect you. I guess I will cross Kenmore and Sears off my shopping list.
Today I visited the store and spoke with the Male salesman around 10:30. We talked extensively for 20 minutes on a washer/dryer combo to purchase. I asked him to check on a delivery date while I went to my truck to get my cc and phone. I was checking the address where it would be delivered. While in my truck I noticed him walking out and figured he would return for the details. When I returned inside I approached the lady whom I had spoken with also earlier and she asked if she could help me. I told her I was just in there talking about the set. We then walked to where the combo was and it was gone. I asked where it went and she said she sold it. I was not happy 1.because I said I would buy it and 2.the man salesman didnt have the decency to tell me when he walked by.
I needed a fridge They gave me a good price the people that helped me were so Great I had no way to take it home their delivery schedule was way far out And the employees went completely out of their way to help me and get it delivered to me I am forever grateful for them I thank the mommas out there that teach their kids to be kind and go beyond what they need to do the integrity is wonderful wish more people had the gift
This place was the bomb I had a 3 year old fridge that all of a sudden just died the techs came out and worked on it but instead just got another fridge because we had bought I think it was a 5 year extended warranty, store does need some love tho.... like really bad a bunch of ceiling tiles look rotted but thats really the only downside

I cannot drive anymore. Called to get sale and wash info. The man was very nice, helped me a lot to decided which one I wanted and then hubby went and paid for it. Recently called about a frig. Nice lady helped me a lot on the phone.
My GE fridge that we bought only 2 years ago from Home Depot basically blew up. No one would fix it, course it was the worst time ever for this to happen. Went into Sears being so frustrated with our local Home Depot and there treatment, spoke with a young man who ended up being the owner of the store. Told him of our situation and that we needed a fridge he was very helpful and knew how to help us to get a fridge that every day. With the store Lease-It offer we were able to get one that very day. He went over in detail what a PA was and how it worked, we put a 5 year warranty on the fridge. Have never been treated so well, we will buying all appliances from our Sears Hometown.
Nice to see young,energetic people making there way. They really know there stuff in there, learned stuff I didnt even know. Cant wait for the new kitchen appliances I bought too arrive. !!!!!!!!!!!!
Staff was very helpful but lacking knowledge of their programs. Didnt have item I purchased in stock now we have to wait a week for it.
Fridge went out in the morning. All my food was bad by the afternoon. They sold me the floor model since they wouldnt have another slate fridge till August. Best customer service ever! If youre in a bind, they will do everything possible to help you out!
Very pleasant staff. Very knowledgable of what was going on and of their appliances and stuff. Delivery fees were very low and they delivered in the day they said they would be there.
Absolutely love the service I’ve gotten here, dealt with the most helpful employee in this town I’ve encountered in a very long time, I’m sure his name was Levi and I’m very sorry if I’ve spelled that wrong. He was absolutely awesome!

Absolutely the worst customer service I have encountered! I recently purchased a $1200 Craftsman tool box that was on sale. Salesman assured that all of the appropriate items were in the tool box and that the keys would work in both the bottom tool box as well as the top tool box. After unloading the tool box ~35 miles away I found that the bottom box was missing its keys to lock it and the keys that were provided only worked on the top box. I called the salesman and he informed me that it was not their responsibility to provide the keys if they were not in the tool box. He also suggested that I go to Walmart and purchase a new lock set after I just spent a substantial amount in his store. I also spoke to the manager of the store and she was both rude and unhelpful! I would recommend purchasing Craftsman hand and power tools at the local Ace Hardware that is located adjacent to this store. Negative stars is my rating. Absolutely disgusting!!

Dont buy from Kenmore or from Sears(owners of Kenmore). I had a Kenmore freezer for about six months and it quit working in August. In August Sears and I started a two month fight to have them either fix or replace my freezer. It took about 15 phone calls to the country of India, about 7 phone calls to headquarters in the U.S.A and countless emails to finally get it resolved. Stay away from Sears because they have very shady business practices.
The two nicest guys helped me find a washer with the highest ratings accepted a price match, and loaded it in my truck with a smile . Thank you !

I purchased a fridge with 5yr coverage in October, when delivered, the door was damaged and they didnt bring the water line to hook up the water. I was told they would bring a new door and water line. I still havent received either and cant get a hold of anyone. I also purchased a washer and dryer with 5yr coverage in October that were never delivered. I have been trying to get my money back for over 3 weeks. No one answers. Ive talked to over 5 agents none of which can help me. Do not make purchases at this store.
