Ill NEVER GO BACK! I stopped in on my new KTM 790A while touring to get the chain checked and tightened if necessary, a 5-minute job! I was charged for a 1/2 hr labor and a $10 environmental disposal fee; all toll about $75 for 5-minutes of very poor workmanship. Owner had some teenager do it, yelled to the teenager the supposedly proper chain deflection in millimeters, and didnt check if it was done properly. When I got home about 1,000 miles later, I had it checked by a local, large KTM dealer who tightened it properly and in accordance w/ KTM recommendations and said KTM Rock Springs had tightened it way too tight! The local KTM dealer showed me the actual chain deflection as set by Rock Springs KTM vs KTMs recommendations. Local shop properly adjusted the chain at no cost. Ill never go back to KTM Rock Springs (Morgan Valley KTM outlet)! If they treat locals like travelers I dont know how they stay in business!

Blew out a front tire on my KLR in the Rock Springs McDonalds parking lot. My usually trusty pump and gas station pumps couldnt get me pressure to really set the bead on a new tire I put on. Honda dealer said they couldnt help me (was a 30 second job!) but the nice lady at this dealer ushered me back to the shop and I was on my way home to Colorado in a jiff. This was late on a Friday and they could have easily turned me away. Thanks for the hospitality!

Waist of time

Our Polaris ranger broke down on the mountain. George from Rocksprings Polaris walked me through exactly what to do on the phone to limp our machine back to camp. He was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. Then Matt came out the same day and repaired our machine and got us back on the mountain. I cannot say enough about the level of service this outfit provided.
