This is the thirteenth car we have purchased from Anderson Nissan. Over the years, we have felt like a family extension of Andersons sales and service departments. No hassles, no pressuring, always there to make recommendations and be supportive. They go out of their way to accommodate your needs. Jamie and the sales personnel are outstanding. Brad and his staff are great in the maintenance department. My most recent experience in purchasing a new Altima was with a young man who well represented Anderson. He was extremely polite and helpful in looking at different options, even though the inventory was low due to the world pandemic issues. I am totally satisfied with the purchase. Not only did Jamie give me a good price, the allowance on my 2018 Jeep Wrangler trade-in was top-in. I would never consider purchasing a personal vehicle without going to Anderson in Rockford. I have know these people since 2005. As I said, they are like family to us. There is no other dealership in this area that even comes CLOSE to Anderson Nissan. I love this family like my own. Service performed in a timely manner, cost of the maintenance service was reasonable and staff was very courteous.
After having some car problems I took my car to my usual mechanic and was told I needed a new transmission so I decided to take my car to nissan to get a second opinion and ended up not needing a new transmission.. they fixed my car and fixed it quickly also did a few recalls that needed to be done. Very happy with the service I got there😆😆
I had made an appointment online thinking there would be fewer people in the waiting room. It was full, but everyone had a mask on and they did offer more areas where a person could wait. It did not take as long as the last time and Im pleased with how my car is running.
My only constructive feedback is communication. I had to call the dealership every time for a follow up. The car was there about 4 days before I called just to see if they even looked at it. They hadnt and said they would the next day. Then I had to call 2 days later to see what the result was. Then they were going to call Nissan about the warrantee and let me know if it was covered. I had to call back 2 days later to find out the answer. I was told it would be done on Monday or Tuesday latest. I called on Tuesday at 5pm in order to give the full day and was told it was almost done and would be finished first thing in the morning. I did not get a call till 5pm Weds night. They should work on proactive communication instead of reactive. Other than that, the service was done good and I am happy with the outcome.
My routine 20k service went fine as expected. Unfortunately I had another issue in which the dealership did not meet expectations. My vehicles passenger side fender moulding is falling off due to poor factory workmanship. This is not the first time. My driver side fender moulding very oddly fell off during a brushless car wash a couple of years ago. Fortunately it was replaced for free as the vehicle was still very new at the time. It is my understanding that the issue is widespread to all of these particular style fender mouldings on multiple models, so why Nissan doesnt correct both driver and passenger mouldings during the first occurrence visit is just negligent. I havent been able to wash my vehicle in an automatic car wash since the first incident, and Im concerned this moulding is going to fall off while driving, potentially causing damage to another persons vehicle or worse... Surprisingly, Nissan offered to correct their poor factory workmanship at MY cost of $450+. This certainly cannot be justified considering the reason for replacement, the true cost of the part, or the supposed minimal amount of labor necessary to fix.With that said, I am still pleased with the vehicle, and pleased overall with my Anderson vehicle history and experience, but this particular situation was a big miss on their part unfortunately.

Had s speaker replaced. Service check in was fast and polite. Service install of my speaker was fast as lightning. The sound of the new speaker is perfect. Service check out was informative and professional and polite. He even corrected the misspelling of my first name, I am grateful for that!! I will definitely go back here.
Sebastian was extremely nice and knew the car very well. He wasnt too pushy and got us out of there quickly. I was expecting to be at the dealership much longer than we were.
They found the starter problem. They didnt tighten the bolts properly.

Like to sell cars but not willing to stand behind them. Service manager was short and deflected responsibility for anything. Anderson Nissan service told me to drive my vehicle because they could not determine the reason for the service engine soon light. Did so and when I took back for engine heating up they told me the engine was shot. I informed them I did not like driving it with something going on. Drove it for about two months with the light on. Ultimately they cost me approximately $10,000 on my trade-in value of my 2012 Nissan Armada Platinum.
Dropped off car for oil change & tire rotation. Got my car done early. They were very professional and friendly. Price was very reasonable and the girls behind the counter to take the payment were great to. This location is very personable and made a dreaded trip to the dealership pleasant.

We found a good deal on a used Kia from Anderson Nissan online. We spoke to Dan the same day, and he was very helpful. He quickly setup a FaceTime to see the car since we are located in Chicago.At the time, we didnt have a car to get out to the dealership and their team even offered to pick us up from the train station(we ended up renting a car to get out there). We were a bit worried that the price we spoke about would suddenly be different once they got us on the lot, but that was not the case.When we arrived, we were greeted by Ken. He was very friendly and accommodating. Ken had the car pulled inside so we could take a look at it. After the test drive, we reviewed the pricing. Unlike a lot of other dealerships we went to, the price we saw did not have any crazy dealership fees added. Also, the car didnt have floor mats and Ken gladly threw those in at no added cost (they are shipping new ones from a Kia dealership directly to our place).After we agreed to the price breakdown, we moved on to their financial team. Pete was also very friendly and didnt push or pressure us on extended warranties or gap insurance. This was a nice surprise as I was expecting to get a big pitch on why we needed the extended coverages. Pete helped us sign all the paper work and get our tags/license plates handed over to us.If there was one slightly negative thing about the whole experience, it would be the car we purchased didnt have a full tank of gas (I believe it was a little below half a tank). I wish we would have noticed before heading back towards Chicago, but in the end its not that big of a deal.All in all, it was a great experience buying a car from Anderson Nissan. Everyone on their team, that we spoke to, was very friendly and were attentive to our needs. We will certainly look to buy there again in the future!Thanks Anderson Nissan Team!!

I was looking at cars in the Chicago area and was not having much luck for my price range. I went Anderson Nissan after a couple other visits, and they had the best service by far. I brought my Murano in for an oil change and tire rotation. they were very quick and thorough. When I picked up my car I noticed that I had left my Apple AirPod pros in my car. I was delighted to find them untouched in the same spot I left them. Kudos.

They did a great job going over the issues I was having with my Rogue. They let me know of few other issues that werent concerning yet but to have looked at in the future. Gave me a quote up front for everything and when work was finished my total ended up being a little less than original quote. Randy in the service department was very friendly and upfront with everything thing that needed to be done. Im happy with the work and will be back for future repairs.

UPDATE: Since purchasing the car in Dec. 2020. We have had to replace the oil (which was more than halfway through its cycle when we bought it....no free oil change either), replace all four tires (shame on me for not checking that, car only has 34,000 miles), and now we are having fuel gauge issues. I was impressed at the start, but the more I own this car, the more I am becoming disappointed with this transaction and dealership.We purchased a 2017 Pathfinder. Laura (sales) and Pete (finance) were both very helpful and great from start to finish. They were very patient during our specific situation and were responsive and reasonable. I would refer a friend to Anderson to take a look. We have dealt with several dealerships in the past and this was one of the easiest and most friendly experiences I had.

If you’re planning on leasing a vehicle just stick to Toyota. Toyota offers free maintenance and service for a certain amount of time, Nissan offers nothing. 3 things have gone wrong with my brand new car and they want thousands to fix it. Would not visit again

I dont have a problem with Anderson Nissan, the dealer at all. My problem is with Nissan. I bought a brand new Nissan Sentra 27 months ago and after 70,600 miles the transmission failed. I understand the powertrain warranty was over at 60K miles but there are several car manufacturers with powertrain warranties up to 100K miles and one is even a lifetime powertrain warranty. NO car should have transmission failure after 27 months! Nissan paid 90% and I do appreciate that but I feel they should have paid 100%. Not a happy customer at all....

First of all, I am a terrible shopper except when it comes to cars and electronics...then I shop pretty hard.Looking for a small/mid size SUV.My salesman was Ash and he was AWESOME. The patience of a saint for sure as he put up with my numerous visits. We considered 5 different brands and drove them all and Ash helped arrange 3 of the others.Decided on the Murano Platinum as it had all the bells and whistles we were used to in our Lexus. NICE RIDE!Ash even paired my phone to it and programmed all the AM, FM and Sirius XM stations for me. (Im old as dirt and highly tech challenged).About 2 weeks after delivery I get a call from Ash asking about our satisfaction with the car and wondered if I had any questions.Sure enough I was having issues with the hands free voice activated phone system as buttons were sightly different than the Lexus.He invited me down, he hopped in and within seconds schooled me on this issue...works perfectly now!Thats just one reason to buy locally.The other reason was the reputation of the Anderson family.Highly regarded locally and are tremendous community supporters.Whats not to like...

I bought my last 4 new Nissans from Bill Barr who has since retired, he was awesome. Service department was disappointing. Repaired my trunk lid for premature rust under a tsb because Nissan used the wrong screws. Now its rusting again and they blew me off. I was a service director for 2 Ford Mercury Lincoln dealerships and I know they could have repaired what they failed to repair the first time. Now Im in the market for a new car, I highly doubt it will be a 5th Nissan.
Still not satisfied! I was forced to take my car to Marks Auto who by the way have been very compassionate and understanding, All because Nissan won’t take responsibility. They first wouldn’t honor the extended warranty for my cvt transmission, now Another mechanic has put his time into my vehicle and they won’t pay for their time. I’m devastated and very upset by how I’m being treated by Nissan. Now they won’t answer my calls Update...Just got off the phone with Jaime and he accused me of lying and maliciously writing a bad review. They are now refusing to help me. Jaime aggressively spoke to me too! Rotten dealership! Absolutely Rotten! Don’t go there

My experience was great! From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with a smile. Everyone was very eager to help out and were so knowledgeable to ensure all my questions were answered.
The service department completed my work in a reasonable time frame. They also took the time to clearly explain the need and cost of future work that I was thinking about.
I am very happy and satisfied with the overall services that the dealer shop provide and in a very timely manner. I actually received my auto back in a much earlier time then expected!

The last two times on a scale of 1-10 would be a negative 4. The only service manager I would recommend is Brad. The other 2 should be in sales because when they speak its bs. I have more knowledge about vehicles then they do but they treat you like you know nothing.
I went in for an oil change, & a few other things. I was greeted by a service employee b4 I was even out of my car. Very friendly. I told him why I was there, & everything was taken care of in a timely fashion. I was told it would be approximately 2-21/2 hrs. It was completed when promised.

This will be the only Anderson place we will do business with. This place is exceptional and pay attention to details. Jon was patient with us through the whole process. Understanding with our young children and answered all questions. Not only did we trade one vehicle in... We ended up trading both of our cars that day. The whole team there is amazing. Unfortunately we cant say the same for other Anderson lots, but this one will not disappoint!

Not sure where to start, the salesmen were awesome and found me something I wouldve never thought to ask for but just an amazing car. Plus, heres thre above and beyond.... my salesmen was a fishing enthusiast and (since Im getting out of state originally) suggested several places my family would enjoy fishing at. Just by that alone, thereve earned a visit for life.... its not always about just selling a car, the several l small personal touches is what brings people back! Anyone can sell me a car and know nothing about me, but they asked all the more personal questions that makes them almost like family

He’s engaging and conversational! I know when I come to Anderson Nissan I’m in good hands. They did my breaks, allowed me to use a loaner because I had meetings and called with updates multiple times during the day. Highly recommend
When we purchased this vehicle (our third at this dealership) we had an unfortunate experience the night of the sale, and were told free oil changes were added to our maintenance account.For this visit, we went in for a recall, and were to have the standard inspections completed. We told the person who checked us in that the coolant level was low. There were no credits for oil changes on our account, so we had to pay for that.When we picked up the vehicle, the box was marked that coolant had been checked. There were greasy oil handprints on the door handle and the hood of our white vehicle. We drove away, and found the coolant had not been filled. We had to return to the dealership to have the coolant filled.
