Ive taken multiple cars here over the years. Service is always fast and reasonably priced. They do not try to oversell parts I dont need (they even saved me from another shop trying to do so). Ive also have never had to return my cars for mistakes theyve made.

They are so personable and very helpful. In front to greet you as you enter their business is Nikki and Bill, both very helpful and not there to rip you off. I trust them, very knowledgeable and reasonable.

Great service and the prices were better than other service businesses locally. I appreciated a full estimate before making my 8am appointment where they then gave me a ride home. Later same day my husband took me to pick up for the exact estimated price! Stopped in later for another copy of my repairs ( I lost mine) and I met the matriarch himself! Family owned, Friendly, Reliable and Honest, what more could I ask for? Very satisfied customer for life!

I got a lovely flat tire and bent rim after going into a pot hole on a 3k road trip from Oregon to Michigan. I called up Marden and got Bill on the phone. Not only was he super friendly, he told me that I could get my rim fixed for $80-90. Now THAT was a huge relief (compared to $800 for a new one). I got to the store a couple hours later and he had the rim fixed the following business day but for only $70!!! They did the tire and an alignment for only $15. I walked out of there paying $85, when I thought that that would be just the cost of the rim repair. I could not have been happier. Amazing people work here and the prices are great. They didnt try to take advantage of me in any way, which made my whole painful experience that much less painful. I cannot be more thankful that I found Marden!! Highly recommend!!! OH - they even put back together the spare and jack exactly how it had been. That was a wonderful thing because when I was on adrenaline changing the tire, I had no idea how it all went back together. THANKS SO MUCH MARDEN FOLKS!!!

I have had prompt and thorough service for multiple cars at Marden. They dont just do tires, they are a full service shop with good mechanics on staff. We have had flat tires multiple times from curbing or running over a nail and Bill and the gang always have us back on the road in short order and at a fair price. Weve even had our car towed to Marden when the starter gave out in the middle of winter and had it back and fixed the next day. They have a great deal with local tow service, it was well below the $100 allowance that you will usually get either from a car warranty/AAA/car insurance.

I made an appointment & they didn’t even want to fix my car for the problem I explained to them. Was just a tune up I needed. Unprofessional & seem like they just tried to rush me out tbh.

After calling every salvage,Junk, and other used tires businesss they actually offered to call to find me 4 used wheels and no one had 4 tires for a crown vic police looking car for those not familiar. Hard to believee.no one in the area had 4??. Still waiting for call back and price. Praying its reasonable.

Here is my review of Marden Tire and Auto.I came in to get a leaking tire patched up on 12/19/16. They took my car and put the patch on, the did quick work and it was reasonably priced. I was very happy at first.However, later in the day, I hear a thump sound coming from that same wheel (left rear) and dont think too much of it. Well I get home and clear out the snow buildup thinking that would solve it.Nope, sound continued.Fast forward to Tuesday (12/20/16) night and after work I head onto the highway traveling 70. The sound still continued.Now to the present, 12/21/16 and the thump is still there, so after I get home from work, I check my lug nuts.3 OF THE 5 LUG NUTS WERE ABLE TO LOOSEN BY HAND. Only 2 lug nuts were holding my wheel to my car and I was traveling at HIGHWAY SPEEDS! My wheel couldve fallen off and I wouldve been seriously hurt maybe dead.So today (12/22/16), after making my ridiculous discovery, I take it back to them and demand to speak to the boss. The boss apologized and retightened my wheel. He claims that never happens and shouldnt have happened.So I wait for the tech who worked on my car, LUKE. He claims he torqued my wheel to 100, all 5 of them. WELL HOW COULD 3 OF THE LUGS LOOSEN BY HAND!?I wouldnt recommend this place if you care about being safe and not having your wheels falling off. Ill never return and Ill make sure to tell everyone I know and all my customers about you guys.

Had brake issues took it in they changed my master cylinder and booster. Pedal was so far up had to bend my knee to reach up to it the mechanic argued that it was right until a different one looked at it. Left it there to be fixed picked it up later that night had no pedal by morning several more times in to fix issue kept loosing pressure on brake peddle were at about 1500.00 now never picked it up without some kind of new charge never reimbursed for any of the parts that were installed that DID NOT correct the problem. Frustrated and out of money parked it for a couple days till my friend looked at it and in a half hour he found a pin hole in back brake line. Parts were 17.35 been driving it ever since. However the gentleman at the front counter was very nice to bad he does not have competent staff.

My husband found this place via Google. I needed new tires. I went in to pick up my car when it was ready. There was a big dog blocking the door. I waited for somebody to move it, instead everyone inside looked at me like I was crazy. I went in and the dog began to sniff me and bark loudly. I proceeded to talk to the woman behind the desk and the dog jumped up next to me barking. After several minutes, the woman instructs me to give the dog a treat located in a bowl on the desk and it would stop barking. I was there to get my car. Not to feed treats to anyones dog. The process took longer than I thought for reasons that were legitimate. What was unacceptable is that while I waited, I had to feed treats to the dog if I wanted to wait in peace. The dog would nudge me and bark at me until I fed it another treat.I am not against dogs but I was there to do business. Instead, I was forced to pacify someones pet. My car was taken care of. The work was done well, however the experience was poor and unprofessional.I wont be going back.

Three shops turned me away as if they had never seen an E rated 10 ply before. (Tire was too cold to mount!) Marden took the tire out of my hands beforei even got in the door. And about 12 minutes later I had my tire mounted cheaper than the others were going to charge. Extremely pleased!

My rear strut went out on my old car they wanted $370 to do it witch is outrageous!! I called a mechanic in my home town Dixon IL they wanted only $200 . so I had it towed to Dixon and fixed and it was still cheaper then going to this place
