I did not buy any equipment from crutchfield online. I have installed many subs myself before. I wasnt asking for any installation, only a tip, a tip I was willing to pay for. I have no idea what that whole essay response was about, but I was just asking for a little help and got totally shut down with no logical explanation. If there were others listening in on the call like you say, then apparently logic was absent. This isnt about respecting your elders. I had a bad experience with your company so I left a review. I felt disrespected just like you did. And also, I am a veteran of the US Navy, so dont even try to pull the military card on me. You seem like someone whos not used to bad criticism. Sometimes you just have to own your mistakes. I couldve purchased my equipment from you and you wouldnt have even know because you didnt bother to ask, thats a customer service issue my friend, not a millennial issue.

We have had 3 remote starters installed in our cars & every human driving those cars are extremely happy. Haven’t had any complaints from anyone. Love that our kids can now jump into a warm or cool car depending on the weather & not have to sit around in a parking lot. Major compliments to Boomer Jay at Boom Did It Car Audio. Im picky when it comes to our toys so I wont just let anyone touch the beast. After a nice conversation on the phone with him we set up a time for him to COME TO OUR LOCATION and install a new car alarm system. It was a mess under the dash. So many wires for so many things necessary and unnecessary. Because of that it took him a while longer but he was perfectly okay with that. He cleaned it up underneath the dash and made it look a lot prettier and easier to navigate. He installed the system and it works perfectly! I have to say, getting any type of wiring work done is nerve wracking on a vehicle like this because there is so many modifications Its real easy to fix or install one thing and then have another thing stop working. well we went through everything and it all worked perfectly! Down to every dial and every light. After more time than usual spent on the car he still stuck around to go over a few audio things with me. This guy is a true professional and a hell of a nice guy! I wont go to anyone else and neither should you! For car alarms and audio equipment there is no one better! Give him a call if you need anything done!

This is a different customer situation as I am a witness to a woman wanting to benefit by contacting multiple local stereo shops to get the best deal with only wanting the job to be completed by a shop within Machesney park and not Boom Did It. This woman was standing near by when I was there within said Machesney Park stereo shop to try and get her deal. While her phone was on speaker the employee listened to hear quotes from different shops such as Boom Did It. This woman was a rude fast talking evil woman, later be known as one Nancy Petersen. Review observed that is not in anyway shape or form honest.I was in dismay of actions of the Machesney Park car audio shop and this Nancy Peterson evil woman to complete such acts just to get a estimated $30.00 Deal. Someone to be so deranged to act as such and write a review that was not true in any shape or form. Being man of faith and a youth advisor, I just could not sit back and let this move forward without stating something to any future customers for Boom Did It.After observing these actions of such, I vacated the MAchesney Park Location with out any attempt to purchase. Speaking with my wife and dwelling on not stating anything within a couple day period, I decided to contact Boom Did It and explain what I have observed. Mr. Boomer had his jaw hit the floor when speaking with him and what I have observed.Mr. Boomer praised me for the honest information and without me asking for any quote at all. Boomer stepped forth and provided a suggested deal for me which would save me over $100 off because of the me providing this honest information. I told Boomer, I do not need this generous deal as such as this was what a person is to do.I did indeed set a time for a 2way remote Starter on a Sunday which Boom Did It is closed for Business. But, was strongly suggested and set by Boomer and arrived promptly 8am on a Sunday Morn. This Boom Did It Employee was completely astonishing in everyway for Customer Service and work ethic. Coming on location on his day off, early and also providing a over $100 discount that I did not want or ask for. I never had anything like this ever be supplied for me in my over 60 years of life on this planet.I salute and praise BOOM DID IT CUSTOM CAR AUDIO and Mr. BOOMER for the amazing work ethic. Called to get an estimate for a remote arart and the guy that answered the phone couldnt be less interested in my business!! I said I was interested in the pricing of a remote start, so he responds with well that will depend on the vehicle....um okaaay....so I asked if he would like to know the year make and model so he says yeah....then he asks me if its a push or key start...he says 279 to 299 depending on something I dont even remember now (just 2 mins later) since his tone and lack of interest in the conversation just had my mind reeling.Then I ask him if that was for a 1 or 2 way remote and he says thats for a 1 way a 2 way would be an extra 100.. I said to him man your tone is like youre not interested in my business at all SO HE HANGS UP ON ME!!! This was the 2nd place Id called. The first place was expert electronics and the lady that answered there was chipper, asked questions to learn what car it was, offered the pricing on the one way and two was without my asking. The only reason why I called for another estimate was becasue I realized EE were in maxhesney park and I live on the SE part of Rockford, and with a 2-3 hour installation, I figured Id take an uber and MP seemed like too far for an uber so I looked for a place in Rockford and got this sorry excuse for a business to give my money to. NO THANK YOU!!!

Man Jo Boom did his thing he did something I’ve never would’ve expected, he came out to my crib and installed my Bluetooth radio showed me how to operate the radio and everything and on top of that the prices was very reasonable I give him a perfect 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I will be in touch with u soon to install me daughter’s car radio

Called and set up an appointment, gave my address on High Ridge Trail.No show.Called back later, was told angrily that I gave a fake address on Iris Trail.When I disputed this, he claimed I spelled it out for him. Then told me to take my business elsewhere.Ultimately, lost my business by making a mistake and being too childish to own up to it.What a moron.Now I know why theres a big baby on his business cards.

Called to inquire about the cost to install a car radio.. Claimed they only install what they sell. Says that if people continue to buy online theyd go out of business. Preposterous.

Hands down the best car audio service in Rockford. The service I received today was second to none when it came to amount of respect, honesty and integrity I was given today. Not only was he able to get the radio fixed, but he came to me to fix it with all the appropriate tools. After going almost 5 months with no stereo, I Im finally able to listen and catch up to all the last few months I missed do to multiple fuses that were blown and fired wires. The things that made the difference is that he worked on the radio as if it was his own, and thats a good thing to see as a customer. Thanks again Boomer! Your a Great guy!
