They made the lids to my fish tank. Took a little longer than than they said but so far, looking and working good.

The owner came to my house and gave me a verbal quote to replace some windows. He said delivery of the windows will take 2 weeks with install the following week. He also said a formal quote would be sent via email confirming the price and install date.. After a week I followed up saying I never got the email and asked about the delivery status. They said everything is on track and they would get a quote via email. After 3-4 days I followed up again and got the same story. Then about a week after that I got a phone call saying they would be at my house tomorrow for the install. I was completely surprised, but said ok because I wanted the work done. That night I went home and cleaned out an area for them to work. My wife used vacation time the following day to be there for the install. At 1pm the next day nobody had showed up, so I again called the totally inept receptionist to see if they were on their way. She told me she never spoke to me and didnt know anything about it. I then spoke to the owner. He said she made a mistake and the windows hadnt even came in yet. I followed up a few more times and after a total of 6 weeks they finally said go somewhere else. Do Not.....I repeat Do Not.....use this business. The owner lies and the receptionist is a complete idiot that hangs up on you if she cant answer your questions. Worst service ever.

I’ve used their services multiple times. They’ve always been very nice and done great work for me. You may have to call more than once.

Called this company to make an appointment for a simple window repair/replacement. They did not show up. I called to reschedule a week later. No show again. Very unprofessional. Called a bigger company that I know will show up.

Over a year ago Ability glass replaced six windows in our home, 5 of them were ok. The sixth, the seal leaked and the window developed moisture between the panes after only a few weeks. They said they would replace several times but never scheduled work to be done. Nearing winter, they said next spring(2020). They showed up in July, however, they had wrong size window. They had to reorder, never heard back. I finally got through to them and on Oct 9th, they said they would try to do it late next week I have called at least ten times(4 times since yesterday), texted, emailed, left message on their webpage, no response. The lady that answers the phone says she will give the owner my message. I dont know whether she gives it to him or not or if he just refuses to call back. Very unprofessional and not a good way to run a business. I wish I could have rated Ability Glass zero stars. I am now in the process of taking them to court. I would recommend look for other companies to do business with!!

I have used Ability Glass on numerous occasions at my business - for repair on (both) commercial windows and doors. Although every experience was not without hiccup (to be expected), every experience has resulted in me being a satisfied customer.Matt, the owner, is very pleasant and easy to work with. He understands the importance of customer relations and service. He continues to put customer needs as a priority over those of his own.As far as the work performed - the Ability crew was outstanding. Each employee was personable, yet professional. Work was completed in an efficient manner -without interruption to business as usual.My experience with Ability has shown timely communication and dedication to follow-through. Used these guys a number of times over MANY years. So long, I can remember it being Steves Ability Glass. Most recently had them install a full glass shower door in our Personal House. The installer was polite, did the work quietly, effieiently, cleaned up. AND - before leaving asked 1) DO you like the job? Is the work what you expected? and 2) Asked if we could provide a review. YES, YES, and YES.We have had Ability satsifactorily cut glass for misc. frames, install an alum door system, fabricate glass for a glass floor, and now our new shower.

We had them come quote us for a window. He said he would order the window and install within 2 weeks. It took 6 weeks and our window is still not done. Since we own the building and someone else is renting it he decided not to do a job he was given. We took our business elsewhere to a super amazing glass company in Rockford!

We worked with Matt who came out to our house during a busy time. He was helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. He had to special order our part, but got it fixed with no hassles. I highly recommend if need Matts services at Ability hes your guy. He took GREAT care of us.

Reasonably priced, and the glass was replaced on our vinyl window in a timely manner.

Needed a large glass cut and delivered nearby. Their price was higher than 2 other locations (yet other 2 companies didnt just specialise in glass like Ability does) but needed it delivered due to size - an additional charge (high).Ability was prompt in delivery. Nonetheless job got done.

I have used Ability glass several times. Once for broken window replacement glass and once for a broken glass table top! Both times they have service me in a timely manner and with great customer service! I am planing on ordering a special cut mirror in the near future!

THAT WAS MONDAY 8-25-14 IT IS NOW WEDNESDAY WITH NO RESPONSE. IF YOU DIDNT WANT TO SERVICE ME, A COURTESY CALL LETTING ME KNOW YOU COULDNT OBLIGE ME, WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT!! LOSERS
