I cannot say enough about your customer service! Your operations ran like a well oiled machine to say the least. From scheduling to pickup. What really separates you from all others is the effort to complete my service before the holiday weekend. You delivered!I am in customer service and I have to say, many companies should model their company customer service after yours. Thank you for a great experience and to everyone that made this a great experience for me. You were definitely worth the extra drive time and you will continue to always have my future business. Kudos!!!
All the great reviews are true! I drive all the way from Orlando because of the truly exceptional customer service I receive from Sean & Jeremy in the service department. I don’t let anyone else touch my Boat and PWC. Hands down these are the most stand up guys in the boating industry. Trust no other!
Staff and team are very knowledeable and during Covid, when stocks ran out, Boaters Exchange had a Maverick Mirage 18 on the lot to see. Pricing was fair, and the experience was postive, from beginning to end. Even now, 6 months since I picked this boat up, Mitch and the staff at Boaters have reached out to me to make sure I am happy and all is well. The test drive before final acceptance was unexpected and added some serious value to this purchase. I left there knowing where every switch was, what everything did, the boat had been through prop test after prop test to get it just right. These guys rock.
I had Boaters Exchange service do a full service on my motors as well as repairing items on the boat itself. John, Sean and their team did an excellent job on everything and are extremely detailed in all aspects of customer service. Highly recommended!
Went there to shop for a repower, was quoted three thousand more for engine than retail value of engine and an additional three thousand for installation but worse than the price was the attitude displayed, it was as if I were bothering the man. Who I might add had no customers in the building or on the lot. When I pointed out that the price was not competitive his reply was “yeah”, that’s when I left with my money.
My wife and I recently purchased a used Boat from Boaters Exchange in Rockledge. We had a fantastic experience working with Mitch and the team at Boaters Exchange. They went above and beyond to make sure were happy with our new boat. I would highly recommend Boaters Exchange for all of your Boating needs!!!
My husband and I just purchased the NauticStar 28SX from Boaters Exchange and our salesman Mike Brown was great. It was a wonderful experience and we are thrilled with our new boat.
Great experience with Paul and his crew. Great dealer, great service and stand up guys. I bought a used boat and they went through everything and made sure it was 100%.
Went looking for a new or used boat and was met with the most charisma lacking staff you can imagine. Very rude and short with any questions we asked. Pretty sure they just assumed we were poor and didnt want to help us. Oh well. Money goes to someone else now because I will not be buying anything here.
If you are in the market for a new boat I highly recommend you check out boaters exchange! The folks at boaters exchange are truly professionals and they know how to take great care of their customers. Thank you very much for making our new boat purchase experience simple!
Called for service appointment, scheduling was 3 weeks out. Took a day off of work to bring the boat, and the guys tell me they dont work on older outboards. Whoever made the appointment, specifically asked the year! Complete waste of time.
I went in there yesterday and purchased a couple of items for Fathers Day. Ryan the manager, was a very friendly and knowledgeable person. He knew what he was talking about and any questions I had were answered. I live in Melbourne and I will not hesitate to drive here because of the friendly service and knowledgeable staff here at Boaters Exchange.
We had a great experience dealing with Greg V. And the team at Boaters Exchange when we bought our 237 Cobia. Greg was referred to us and was extremely helpful in the overall experience. Since then I have referred him to several others and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get a boat.
We just bought our 2nd boat from Boater’s Exchange. Paul, Mitch, and Jerry are all fabulous. We appreciate they stayed late for us and helped us with our sea trial on a Saturday to work around our schedule. They are honest. It’s hard to find ethical business owners and we’d like to say we found the perfect team at Boaters Exchange! We are especially appreciative they could find the new (high demand) Yamaha 252se just in time for Gordon’s 65th!
Awesome experience, had exactly what we were looking for! My family loves our Pathfinder. We will be returning, when it’s time to upgrade!!!
I bought a new Catalina sailboat from Boaters Exchange, sailed it around for 5 years while I lived on the banana river and then sold the boat via consignment through boaters exchange. A couple observations-1) During delivery, I had an arguably poorly installed roller furler get jammed. Jerry offered either to replace/redo the furler hardware at the masthead OR replace with multiple Jibs/Genoa at NO cost to me. I opted for the latter as I had problems with a furling system on another boat. Net Net - Problem solved.2) I had motor problems with the motor I added to the vessel... bought a new Tohatsu from boaters exchange (Jerrys recommendation I ignored when I bought the boat) Problem solved. Also best little O/B engine I ever owned.3) I lost my ownership paperwork and needed it for my captains license tonnage rating and emailed Jerry 10 years later... he found both my purchase and sale paperwork and emailed me the next day! Again, problem solved.I could go on and on, but you get the idea. Boat dealers are aplenty (at least in Florida), and boat purchases are not for the faint of wallet. That being said, superior customer service from a local dealer that actually cares for their customers is priceless.Big mahalo nui loa to Jerry and the crew @ Boaters Exchange for > a decade of customer service! I only wish they had an office in Honolulu ;-)
The entire staff at Boaters Exchange knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly in helping me choose the right boat and accessories for my needs, and purchasing experience went smoothly, with no high-pressure sales efforts or hidden agendas. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great selection and fair and honest deal on a new boat.
I just wanted to say thanks for everything that The sales man Mitch did for me and all other team Jackson and Elle were very helpful about showing me things about the boat Ryan was very helpful as fare as helping us with some of the extra stuff that we needed for the boat l really wanted to say a special thanks to Paul the owner for the extra things that he helped me with to make the purchase a lot easier thanks guys Tj
Awesome staff....
I bought a used pair of custom painted F300 Yamaha outboards from Paul Berube. His communication was excellent and he continually updated me as to when to prepare for out of state delivery. He coordinated crating the engines and loaded them securely for me. His documentation and follow up after the sale were spot on and I would definitely recommend them highly. I wont hesitate to purchase from them again. Thanks Again Paul for the great experience and professionalism
Needed a boat gas tank and went in was immediately greeted and helped. In and out in less than 10 min.
Very nice and courtesy for all your boaters needs
*** UPDATE ***4/8/15 - I didnt think the service could get any better HOWEVER, Jerry and crew did it again! A++++ Above and beyond, first rate, all of the positive adjectives and descriptions apply here. My Yamaha experienced a little internal issue and the guys are on it! It was nice meeting the Service Techs as well.I highly recommend Jerry and his excellent crew at Boaters Exchange! A+++I previously had my boat(s) serviced at a competitor located in Port Canaveral. They were expensive, never communicated and I felt like I wasnt getting my monies worth. Bad combination.Jerry changed all that. He pick up my boat at Bluepoints Marina, serviced both Yamahas per the 500 hour factory recommendations and then went the extra mile. He fully explained every service item and saved me $400. All this in 3 days. Fair, honest and on the money ~ what else can you want from a service facility? Now I know why Boaters Exchange is the ONLY 5 star Yamaha dealer in the area. My Pursuit will be serviced by Jerry and crew from now on.Thanks Jerry!
I have had such good service from Boaters Exchange on my previous boat. When it came down to buying a new boat I knew where to go. Donny the salesperson was professional honest and easy to deal with. My wife and I could not be happier with our new Pathfinder. Great boat from Great dealership!
This is one of the best boating events in Brevard County. Lots of neat boats, accessories and interesting people to talk to. The staff is great there!
Boaters Exchange is the BEST!! I bought my boat there 12 years ago and not only was it a great boat and great deal, but theyve continued to take care of me by going waaaaaaaaaaay beyond the call of duty! I do everything there for my boat (service, repair, etc.) and I do all of my boat supply shopping there as well. Best, honest, most helpful boat dealership ever! Thank you Boaters Exchange!!
This is a first class operation. The owner Paul couldnt have been any better. Their service is fantastic and I would highly recommend them to anyone. I wish I had found out about Boaters Exchange years ago
Both of our visits for service have been excellent, The attention to detail, explanations of issues, quality of workmanship, and fees for services rendered were the best. We have been to a lot of marinas and dealers in the Great Lakes area and Boaters Exchange is right at the top. The store is very well stocked, and the grounds are clean and well secured. We will highly recommend this facility to all.
I went in for a problem I had with my dash not working properly. The guys got my boat in and fixed quickly. We are new to boat ownership and were not fully informed on all the proper maintenance by the sales guy, so while I was in there Will from the service department took probably a half hour or more going over all the things I should know for upkeep. He was extremely helpful and I was very impressed that he took the time to answer any questions my wife and I had, he gave me his number and told me if I ever had any questions I could call him day or night. It was just a really nice experience and meant a lot to my wife and I.
I have owned a Pathfinder with a 115 Yamaha engine for over 13 years. When the dealership I bought it from closed I looked for a reputable dealer to service my boat and I decided on The Boaters Exchange. I have taken my boat to Jerry Butz for over 6 years and I have never been disappointed with the service. The personnel are always professional and they are always honest about what needs to be done to keep your boat in the water. The work is done in a complete and timely manner and they are quick to inform you if unexpected issues occur. I am completely satisfied with their work and I will continue to contact Jerry when I need service.
I recently had my brand new Yamaha F90 serviced at Boaters Exchange. Glen was very knowledgeable and took the time to go over everything that was performed during the 10 hour service. In addition, Glen took the time to go over basic maintenance of the boat and trailer. I really appreciated it. I wouldnt even consider taking my key west anywhere else. Top-notch.
Purchased a 242 Limited S Yamaha new in March 2014 with the extended warranty. Their scheduled service work is always thorough and reasonably priced. The work has been completed when promised with professionalism.Went to bat for us when Yamaha questioned warranty issues. Our salesmen even provided his phone number just in case we had after hours questions or concerns (which we did take advantage of). Well worth the 70 mile drive each way to the dealership. The store has a great selection of lubes, cleaners and accessories that are competitively priced.
I recently purchased a power boat from the Boaters Exchange. The experience was outstanding. My wife and I have owned sailboats before and this was my first power boat. The sales staff and service department was a lot of help and made me feel very comfortable about this purchase. I took the boat home and used it over a weekend and it had a couple of issues, I called Paul and he fixed the issues with no questions asked, if I had bought the boat from a private person I would have paid to fix the issues. I recommend the Boater Exchange for anyone buying a boat.
Knowledgeable staff, lots of inventory, great service.
I bought a 2015 Nautic star deck boat, it is a great looking boat and handles just fine.i took my children and grandchildren on it and they had a great time. love the color and fits just perfect in my dock, Aaron checked it out to make sure it fit and helped me out with the options. will buy another when i an ready from Boaters Exchange !
Great dealer, Jerry runs a top flight service department and gets to know his customers and their needs.I am a sailboat customer and Jerry is a great competitive Catalina 22 sailor although he no longer sells sailboats which is a shame as he knows his stuff and is great at teaching local HS students a new sport which is just great.Russ Handler
Something very wrong here with the service end. High turnover of staff indicates major issues with personnel. All started during expansion to New Smyrna so have they lost their way?Update to previous comments, 19 NOV 2019. Appears most of the service issues were caused by GARMIN not BOATERS. I agree with several posts that the sales is awesome and will get you the best deal in Brevard County.
LOVE MY BOAT!Just wanted to say THANK YOU to EVERYONE at Boaters Exchange in Rockledge, Florida... Special Thanks to Donny- (Awesome Salesperson) Paul- (The Big Guy, co-owner) Tonya- (Incredible skills with the numbers) Troy- (Master Craftsman on installs and service) and Ryan- (Ships Store; He can get anything!) Its not often that so many people in one place can make the buying experience FUN and surpass my expectations but you did... Your Customer Service and knowledge of your products before the sale is why we purchased our boat with you, and will again in the future. (Going Bigger if momma says I can, LOL) We love our custom built Cobia 280CC...……Thank you again..... See ya on the water! Fly N Fish
I found myself at a rest area with a broken hub on my trailer, and noticed 2 other boats in the same rest area that were the same as mine (Everglades 243CC). I struck up a conversation with one of the other Owners, and he was bragging about his experience with Boaters Exchange. So once I got on the road I called Boaters Exchange and spoke with Jerry who advised they would close before I could get there . I told Jerry my situation, limping down the interstate and would get there till around 7:00PM. I was relieved to hear no problem, give me a call when you get close and I will get you in. The service was truly no problem. Boaters Exchange fixed my trailer, did the annual service on the boat, and took care of a short list of items that needed attention, including a good detailing. Everyday phone calls from Jerry kept me up to date on the progress of work, and when I was out of state for a few days he kept my boat on the lot without any charge. Even the detailer came back the day before pick-up and gave it a wash down.I knew when I purchased my Everglades I was buying a great boat. Now I have a great service center as well. Although I live and keep my boat over 50 miles away, it will only be going to Boaters Exchange for service in the future! Thanks Jerry, and team at Boaters Exchange!
The people who own and work at Boaters Exchange are some of nicest people I have ever met. They provided an excellent buying experience for us two years ago, and continue to support us for all of our boating and fishing needs.
The Boaters Exchange service department recently did annual maintenance on my boats Suzuki outboard. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly they did the extensive service, reported the status via the phone, and then completed the service, notifying me promptly when the boat was ready for pickup. All the employees and owners treat you like family. Excellent experience.
Just recently purchased an Everglades 230CC. And, I couldnt be more delighted with the staff at Boaters Exchange. My salesperson, Mitch B, was top notch, always available to answer questions, everything promised was delivered on time and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a boat.
I chose this place based on reviews and now it is my turn to write one. I have been here several times for service and/or warranty work and each time they have exceeded my expectations. Their dedication to workmanship and customer service exceeds excellence. I am a new boat owner and I have many questions. They take the extra time to explain issues when most locations would not have the patience. I live in Orlando and taking the trip to Rockledge is well worth the drive knowing I will have superior service and workmanship. I own a boat that they do not even sell, and they take the time to complete warranty work and contact the manufacturer on issues that arise. I would highly recommend this business to friends, and family, and anyone owning or interested in owning a boat. Jerry thank you for your help and dedication to the customer.
I recently sold my Key West and purchased a Cobia here. They gave us a great deal on both the sale and purchase. Prior to the sale they offered to take us offshore before we purchashed with there delivery captain to ensure it was the correct boat. They did the first maitanance and fixed a few warranty items without question so far. I wanted to fish and one item still had to be handled under warranty. One of the owners, Paulsaid take it fishing and he came back after work another day and handled a warranty issue personally for us.
We have enjoyed our relationship with Boaters Exchange very much. They extended the useful years of our 20+ year old boat greatly due to their expertise. When our old boat died, it was a true pleasure to purchase a brand new boat from their company. The staff always goes above and beyond what one can rightly expect to make sure their customers are highly satisfied and enjoying themselves on our local waters. Jerry has been especially helpful at all times even when called, via cell phone, when we were experiencing problems while out boating. He has saved the day several times. It is truly wonderful to have such an excellent dependable company to care for our water toys.We have been boating for more than 60 years and Boaters Exchange is the best company we have ever had the great pleasure of using for our boating needs!
Boaters Exchange has serviced my boat for at least the last five years. All work has been done as promised and on time. Two years ago, I re-powered my 34 Venture with new Yamaha 300s. Jerry Butz made the transition seamless. A week later on our trip to the Bahamas, 15 minutes from our dock with a fully loaded boat, a warning light came on, which deeply concerned me prior to the ocean crossing with new motors. I called Jerry at 7AM and he answered, immediately commencing research as to the problem. He had an answer within 30 minutes and we continued our trip with no problems. Most recently, I wanted to retrofit our electronics. I sat with Jerry and Paul Berube (co-owners) and discussed the options we had. They came up with a recommended plan that brought our entire boat up to current technology and completed the project on time and at the projected completion price. Retro work led by Troy with the help of Duane was done beyond my expectations.I would not consider having anyone else service and upgrade our boat except Boaters Exchange. Thanks Jerry and Paul for delivering the very best!
The Service department is top notch!...They provided me with SAME DAY service for my Brand New Yamaha SX190. Jerry is service was knowledgeable, and David in warranty was able to address all of my Yamaha specific concerns, and ordered new warranty parts no questions asked. They allowed me to drop off my boat during the Boat Expo, their busiest time of the year, with ease. The most impressive part was while picking up the boat, I still had additional questions, and the Owner himself, Paul, took time out of his busy day to answer all the needed questions I had.Thank you for your exceptional service, looking forward to bring the boat back soon.
I attended a seminar at Boaters Exchange and won a $50 gift certificate to use for service. I was unaware they repaired boats. I am an avid DIY person and usually can repair my stuff. I had a concern that baffled me so I took it to Boaters Exchange for repair. They diagnosed the problem, made the repair and had it ready for me to pick up in a couple of days. The repair costs were very reasonable. All the folks I dealt with were great, personable and very accommodating. Id highly recommend them as the go to place for your boating needs!
We had Boater Exchange shorten the tongue on our boat trailer and they did a very good job and quick service. Jerry was very helpful in showing how to do it and he is a very knowledgeable service manager. We also had a biminy top installed on our boat and Jerry again was very knowledgeable about making recommendations on where to install the hardware, helped us make decisions about quick release pins and it was all done within 24 hours. Thank you!!
Friendly helpful staff and I got a really good deal on my boat. Donny and Mark are great guys.
I recently purchased a Yamaha AR 240 from Boaters Exchange. I shopped them hard against 2 other dealerships, both of which are much bigger. I got the best deal here. Whats more, both the salesperson and the owner were straight shooters. They conducted a thorough on-the-water orientation with me and have been available via their personal cell phones to answer all of my questionsI had an overall extremely positive buying experience with Boaters Exchange. They may not be the biggest, but they are the best.
I have used Boaters Exchange services (help determining my needs, repair, parts ordering and general advice) on several occasions and each time was happy with the result. The people are friendly, courteous and quite knowlegable. Also, they are more than willing to admit when they dont know something and refer me to another source. So far, my experiences have all been positive and I fully intend to use them in the future.
This is the 8th boat purchase that we have made in our lifetime and I can say from the bottom of my heart that it was absolutely the most pleasant and easy experience we have ever had with a dealership. Our sales person was Mitch and he could not have been any better to work with. He was informative and helpful, if he did not have an answer to my many questions he would immediately ask someone who could answer the question. He made the whole experience smooth sailing from start to finish. The sea trial with Mitch was so in depth that I was nearly over whelmed with all the detailed information.Paul (one of the owners ) was very helpful and knowledgeable about the World Cat 290 DC boat that we purchased. He was willing to take time with us to answer questions about this boat and World Cats in general. He too was very pleasant and welcoming to the dealership and a joy to meet.Mark was the delivery driver and I must say he too was very accommodating. Before he delivered the boat to my home he met us at a gas station near us and worked with me to fill the tanks before taking it to our home . He was very pleasant and helpful and had a smile on his face the whole time that we were with him.I am here to tell anyone in the market for a new or used boat that Boaters Exchange is a First Class Operation and I would recommend them to everyone in the market for a boat.P.S. The service department was great to work with also in making minor repairs and adjustments on our new to us boat!Thank You !Rick & Debbie RigdonBradenton, Florida
Awesome place can help you w all your boating needs very friendly great local place to go
Great Customer service
Thanks Boaters Exchange for a wonderful experience with buying our new Bennington pontoon boat.Everyone was very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were completely satisfied.Charles Camp was very knowledgeable and taught us an amazing amount of things about our boat operation.Donnie was great at making sure all of our needs were met from the start to finish of the purchase and delivery.Boaters Exchange cares about their customers and are interested in a long term relationship. They have monthly seminars, and even have boater get togethers for picnic fun! Wow.Thanks again!
Shawn in the service department and Greg in sales were very helpful.
I recently purchased a brand new 2012 Pathfinder 2200 TE from Boaters Exchange. Aaron Dumont my salesman was professional and knowledgeable. After the sale Jerry was on top of getting my electronics package installed and addressing any warranty issues. They did an excellent job installing everything. The entire process was a breeze. I highly recomend Boaters Exchange to anyone looking for a new boat.
I recently purchased a 2013 Nautic Star 2200 Sport from Boaters Exchange. My overall experience was positive. The sales guy was pretty passive and somewhat disorganized and really lacked follow-up. On the plus side, he did make up for all of this on the day I took possession by throwing in a few extras at no cost. The owner is a straight shooter and personally met me at closing and took real interest in me and my purchase. I really love the boat so far, exceeds expectation in terms of performance and utilization. I need to have my engine serviced and will do that at Boater Exchange, I’ll post if that experience is different than what I’ve outlined here.Overall, satisfied customer
Absolutely the worst boat dealer to do business with. They will take shortcuts and nickel and dime you on everything. Buying a new boat? Be careful, they will charge you additional freight and prep that is already in the price. Buying a used boat? They will tell you they go through the engine and check it out, but they dont do half of what they charge for. Just search deep for complaints, you find many.
The folks at Boaters Exchange rock! I had a carburetor issue with my 9.8 H.P. Tohatsu Motor and the owner, Jerry Butz, greatly helped me get my problem resolved. Since I have somewhat limited mobility due to arthritis, Jerry had one of his crew come to my home and pick up the 115 pound motor off the boat, take it to the shop, repair it, and bring it back & get it back on the boat, This was a great help as I live about a 50 minute drive from this business. The motor now runs great and allows me to go fishing once again! Thanks to all!
Great variety of boats. They carry Everglades, Pathfinder, Nauticstar, Bennington, and Yamaha jet boats. Good service too.
Awesome buying experience, Aaron took good care of us and answered all of our question on our purchase of 24.2 Limited S Yamaha jet boat. Always prompt, good value, and a very nice boat.
Helped me with all my questions . 5 star from Kronic
Had a small issue with boat after a service call. Livewell was supposed to be fixed and maybe it was.....not sure. But, when got boat on lift at my house - no livewell. When I called to explain my problem. Jerry and another mechanic paid a house call to diagnose. Then, came back with a new areator pump, installed it for no charge. Can’t ask for better service than that. I will return.
I purchased my Pathfinder from Boaters Exchange just over a year ago. I live more than 150 miles away from Boaters Exchange; however, I was in the market for a specific boat and they happen to have one on their lot. The buying experience was great. The sales staff was professional, provided accurate information and were very responsive to all my questions. The service department also went out of their way to make sure I was happy with the purchase.Jerry Butz and his knowledgable service staff have performed both the 10 hr. break-in period and the 100 hr. service on my boat. Yes...I travel over 150 miles (each way) to get my boat serviced at Boaters Exchange...and yes, its the customer service that keeps bringing me back...
Paul Berube was very helpful on repowering my old skiff with a new Yamaha 115. Went the extra mile when an issue came up to find a custom shop to rework my polling platform. Repowering is always expensive but i felt the price was fair for the quality service that i received. He went over all the warranty, break in and best practices with the new motor. All in all, a good experience. Thank you Paul and Jerry.
Called from out of state, spoke to Paul Berube, liked what I heard and flew to Florida to see the boat. The Intrepid 377 was as described, I spent almost two days looking it over, sea trialing, met most of the staff and must say I was impressed. We were able to complete the purchase and the preparation to bring the boat up to New England mostly by phone and e-mail.Paul helped with winterization, getting the boat ready and loading on to the trailer, etc.The boat just arrived and it is all in place carefully secured.Thank you Paul!!!!!
I had the pleasure of working with Glenn Leatherman at Boaters Exchange and wanted to take the opportunity to share my experience with other prospective customers. I was interested in purchasing a boat located in Port Canaveral but I live in Coral Gables. I contacted Glenn to ask if he could help arrange an inspection of the engines and he couldnt have been more accommodating. During one of the busiest weeks of the year (4th of July) he helped coordinate the delivery and inspection of the boat and even called after hours to let me know that everything checked out. My only regret is that Boaters Exchange is located 200 miles north of me so it is unlikely Ill have the opportunity to service my boat there. I understand Boaters Exchange has won multiple awards for customer service. With a service manager like Glenn, I can see why. If you live anywhere near Port Canaveral, I highly recommend a visit to Boaters Exchange.
We did an exhaustive search for a pontoon boat at several places in the metropolitan Orlando area as well as St. Cloud, Florida. We also did extensive research on the internet. As we looked at pontoons, we would like many but not all of the features. We were beginning to think that we would not find all of the things we desired, including affordability, in one craft. The Orlando Boat Show could not have come at a better time. After looking at several brands of pontoons and listening to several salespeople, we began to get that same feeling again. Is there a pontoon made that has all the features we want? But patience paid off. We checked out the Benningtons displayed by Boaters Exchange and expertly described by Donny Galorneau. We settled (literally) on a 20 footer, got comfortable on the plush seats, listened as Donny answered all our questions, and after a good hour, gleefully pushed all other brands aside and relished in the happiness that came with finding the craft that met all of our expectations. We have spent hours upon hours enjoying our pontoon and delight in showing it off by taking friends and family out on the lake. It is one of the best purchases/investments we have ever made.
I cant say enough good things about these people. We purchased our Maverick there last year and couldnt be more pleased with the treatment before and after the sale. The boat was impeccably rigged, delivered to our specs and their service department is top notch. Two weeks ago we got stuck way back on our flats with a fuel issue that was intermittent. A call revealed a service letter for Yamaha on the high pressure fuel pump. Back we went to Boaters Exchange for a replacement that they turned around in one day. After one more trip we experienced a different, failure. With 3 charters that week and a tournament on Saturday The dealer had the boat picked up, taken to Rockledge (100 miles each way) and returned, repaired, washed and ready to go the next day. I cant thank these guys enough for their quality service and how value their customers.Capt. Chuck GleichmannTop Shelf Charters
Excellent customer service. Large selection of boat accessories. From rod holders to trailer parts.
Absolute Garbage. Start to finish. Poor customer service, broken promises, shabby work.Supposed to be done in 3 days. They called at the end of the third day only to tell me they havent even started.I was told the boat would be ready by noon on tuesday (one full week later). When I showed up at noon on tuesday, Jerry acted like he had never seen me before. I had to explain what boat was mine and what it was there for. He then said Not done yet, maybe try back in a few hours, or we can give you a call. No- you should have called me when you realized it wasnt going to be ready at the agreed upon time, and saved me a trip. They were supposed to provide computer print-out of engine diagnostics (Agreed upon before starting service). After the boat was ready for pick-up said Sorry, the cable is broken. Their mechanic called me the next day and asked why I didnt bring my boat back to get the downloads. I said that I didnt know it was ready. He said Bring it in whenever you can and we will take care of it. Stopped by the next day, and again Jerry the service manager looked at me like he had never met me before. When I told him why I was there, he said I was wrong and he heard the entire conversation, and I needed to set up an appointment. The mechanics had already left for the day.The service manager Jerry, felt it was important to tell me that the people that clean my boat have done poor service for them in the past and I should go with their detailing service. The fuel line was cracked, and leaking into the well, causing a stain. None of the mechanics figured that out, their service man who was washing the boat showed me the problem, and how to fix it myself. Some of the obstacles are understandable. Parts take time, mechanics get behind. I get that. But the fact that they dont call when there is a change to the schedule, is not acceptable. And the fact that Jerry is a smug jerk is the primary reason I will not be back.
The fiberglass and boat detail department meet all my expectations!!!!
I recently had a daddy make over, unlike a mommy make over I did not need a plastic surgeon. The event was very surgical and quiet painless! I got rid of my Mercury Optimax 225 and put on the SHO 250. You know what they say, THE SHO MUST GO ON! Basically, we pulled every wire out of the boat and started over from scratch with every thing new. You could call it and extreme marinemake over.Every thing went as planned and came in under bid. The process was easy and painless and actually enjoyable. The make over was a team effort with several people at Boaters Exchange and every one was out to win. Any time you spend at Boaters Exchange will be a good one! Tight lines and following seas!!!
We had our annual maintenance performed on our boat. The job was done within the time frame they stated and the boat is running great.
After almost 30 years of boat ownership, I decided to depart from the offshore fishing boats and purchase a deck boat for the family. While researching the options out there, I first thought I would like a Hurricane deck boat. After a lot of looking, and researching, I found Nautic Star boats online. I identified Boaters Exchange as the local dealer and made a call to ask a few questions. One of the owners, Paul, was extremely helpful throughout the process. It was truly a no pressure experience and probably a large part of the reason I decided to pull the trigger on the Nautic Star 203 instead of a Hurricane.I made a visit to the store to view the boat with my family, but the transaction was handled mostly by phone, a sea trial was scheduled and we closed the next day. I was there less than 45 minutes to complete paperwork and pick up the boat. Time will tell how things go after the sale, but I truly feel these are descent folks and will treat you right if you give them the opportunity.Durring the process I did see a few negative reviews, but after looking further, I found the same negative review on other sites posted all the way back to mid 2012. It appeared to be a very unhappy customer on a smear campaign. Being in the business of dealing with the public, I unfortunately realize you can not make everyone happy and sometimes you run across unreasonable people that can make a lot of noise.I decided to discount this review and move forward with the transaction. At this point I am glad I did. I feel the Nautic Start is a superior product to the Hurricane in many ways. The price was fair, and the service through the sale was pleasant and professional. Job well done to Paul and his crew at Boaters Exchange
I recently took my Yamaha SX190 for service. Even though I did not purchase the boat at Boaters Exchanged they treated me like family. From the initial telephone call to schedule my appointment to the service performed and the delivery of the boat the experience was superb. It is amazing when you call a boat dealership and someone picks up the phone right away and you dont hear an operator giving you options to dial for sales, service or other departments. Jerry and his Service Department were amazing, they went out of their way to solve the issue I was experiencing. Jerry even send me pictures of the problem via email and I his team was abel to fix it in the time they promised. Overall I will recommend this dealership not only or service but to purchase a new/pre-owned boat. Thank you for your honesty, hard work and friendliness. Muchas Gracias
Always a good boat show with lots of information and seminars on fishing
Very helpful staff and good selection of accessories
Overcharged me, damaged both my boat and trailer and tried to make like the damage was already done.. Paid them to replace all my switches and found out they didnt... Will never use them again... DO NOT USE THEM FOR REPAIR/REPOWER SERVICE!!
Didn`t fix one of the two things i took it in for, but told me they did, then they would not look at it.
It is a good place
Looked at the boat that Mitch told me about and went there to see it.
