Drove here since it was recommended to me. Got my car waxed; however, after it rained, you can see the wax. Shouldnt happen at all. I wouldnt return here.

5 Star is an excellent business that is customer friendly with excellent pricing on all of their services. The front desk gentleman was friendly and explained the services that I requested thoroughly! I’m a repeat customer that will continue to bring in both vehicles for oil changes, brake service and the excellent car washes that are professional and detailed!

Was a little skeptical of how well a hand wash, that takes only a little more time than a mechanical wash, would work out. Ive been here twice now and my car has come away nice and clean each time. Friendly staff help make it even better.

Payed 30 bucks for a mediocre car wash. Wheels were still dirty. Carpets still needed to be vacuumed and interior wasnt even wiped down.

Both times Ive been here everyone has been helpful and extremely nice. Came in for a Brake Flush and they explained what it was to me. Detail crew also looked at a discolored part on my car to see if they could fix it. Such a nice crew! I will be back!

If you have a non-reflective or matte dashboard, make sure to point it out to them so they dont put cleaner on it and ruin the matte finish. Ive lost two matte dashboards this way!

I own a 1 ton crew cab Dually pickup and it seems like everytime I come here I only see 1 person wiping it down which is always irritating considering I pay $100 a month for the unlimited membership which is the most premium. There was a fairly young lady with pink hair and she was literally showing no effort whatsoever in wiping the pickup down and I noticed she was angry and disgusted by doing her job I guess because no one else was helping but I didnt complain even though I really wanted to. I have many water spots over the grill, fenders, and I still have dirt around my mirrors. She barely cleaned the inside she didnt bother cleaning the cup holders and most of the upholstery but that is not the worst part. As I left I looked in my rear and I noticed She didnt even reinstall my rear floormats and basically just threw them back in without snapping them back in which got me very upset as to how unprofessional I was being treated I quickly made a U turn and explained the situation and all I got was we were short staffed. Im considering terminating my monthly membership because of this whole situation.

My car was returned with dirty oily boot prints all over my driver side carpets after i dropped it off for an oil change and car wash. haven’t been able to scrub it out. i value a clean car and attention to detail and this was really disappointing.

Nice people, when you enter, pay and when your car is ready. They have one of the nicest gift shops ever. If you need something for a special occasion, get your car washed and buy a nice gift at the same time. Or, buy something for you. Seats and tables outside (which were wiped down). No longer seating inside.

They get my truck clean. Much better than my neighborhood/chain carwash that would leave every rearward facing surface unwashed.

They always do a great job and are the fastest full-service car wash in the region. Totally worth the extra few dollars over their exterior-only competitors. This is the only place I get my car washed!

Could have done better with a rag and a 5 gallon bucket. 60 min wait and $40 later to get some water sprayed on my truck. Inside wasnt even vacuumed out well. I had high hopes. They tried to make it right, but really dont have time to wait around. And to the owners response: if I can take my finger and wipe the surface clean its not caked on

The repair required work on the motor that was more then I could manage.They gave me a very reasonable quote and did the work in the time they told me it would take. Thanks Kieren!have to say that their hand wax service has really declined. Ive gone there for years getting my girl and my cars hand waxed. I have not been since COVID until a couple of weeks ago. I got my typical hand wax and a couple of days later I washed my car and saw WHITE wax residue in areas that it should have been wiped away. In the past there was never any residue and our cars are all dark colored. I drive from Marysville just for their service because it USED to be the best. Now its not worth it. Very disappointed customer.

Only hand wash carwash that offers monthly memberships in the area that I could find. They hand wash, hand dry, vacuum inside, wipe the dash and general dusting, add air freshener and they do it QUICK! They have many different packages available for add ons as well. They have an awesome gift shop that you can peak around in while you wait. Friendly staff and great location!

This is the best car wash in the greater Sacramento area. I have a 2020 Ford F-250 and I hate swirl marks. This car wash is a 100% hand wash which ensures there’s no swirl marks applied to my truck during the wash, not to mention I see an exotic car or Rolls Royce every time I’m there. I have the works unlimited package and I come at least once a week to get my truck washed. It’s unlimited, why not! VERY good pricing compared to others. I use the auto repair shop for all my oil changes / maintenance needed on my truck as well. Customer service is A+. 5 star definitely lives up to their name. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Great wash & attention to details.

This place is average for any carwash / detail combination places. Kind of over priced for detailing however for the same exact job you can get at other places. I would know because I like to shop around and see how they perform. There were still areas missed for waxing. Not as detailed in their work for details. Cup holder still had dirt in it. And crevices that was not touched entirely. Seems like they were in a hurry to get cars in and out. I would not pay 300 plus for this level of detail. If you want a quick simple car wash this is the place for you. I would not recommend it for details.

I paid $58.24 for smoke check. It a high price compare with the other smoke chek shop arround us. I hope high price with high services but I was disappointed. It was alsmost two months today I recieved information from DMV that I did not submit smoke check certification. When I came and asked the shop, the receptionist used high voice to me. He said that was DMVs fault, I had to go to DMV and show the certificate and if not, I have to do smoke check again. I was supprise with the way this shop services its clients. They even did not take a look about why thier service did not connect to DMV. They just only assure that DMVs fault and force client have to do their job. It was terrible service. I feel bad for them and belive with this way they will loose clients.

The name says it all 5 star auto is the place you want to take your car truck or such the use quality oil Valvoline which is what I prefer I had them put in the synthetic blend they checked all the fluids and the tire pressure in my tires the also recommend a couple of other things for my truck the big surprise was it only took about 20 minutes to get the service done and to my surprise they also have a car wash on site they gave my truck a really good wash cleaned the inside and did the widows my truck ran and looked like these guys are awesome I will definitely be back for next service and the prices are very competitive thanks 5 star for making my truck run and look like new again...

Poor workmanship.. car had cleaning bottle stain left on saffron seats wheels still had brake dust. Road grime still on sides of car. Purchased the works so could have been better for the price..

Wasted $40 on a car wash package and only the exterior looked cleaned. The interior was supposedly cleaned as well but, looked untouched and certainly was not vacuumed. This was the first and last time bringing my car here. Not impressed at all.

So this is an updated review. Kieren handled my car wash issue very well. The car definitely looked good the second time. I do smell the perfume in the interior and the hand touch-ups and wax all the way included on all the tires as well and overall looked great as expected. Thanks Kieren.

Disappointed, I have been here several times. I will not be back. They used to clean the car. When I got my car back the first time. There was dog hair still all over the car. I asked about all the spots on the paint. I was told it was sap. No it was not it was bird poo. I park under a oning there are no trees. The manager took the car back and cleaned it. When I got the car back all the windows were smuged. Not worth the price.

Love taking my vehicles into Five Star they are fast, efficient and detail oriented, which is what I love. I use their oil change / auto shop for everything on all my vehicles, oil changes/brakes/major services etc. They do a fabulous job and are very true to their work in giving quotes and not trying to squeeze money out of you like other shops in the area. Dealership level of service and expertise way below dealer costs. The wait time is short and the job is always done GREAT at a GREAT price as well. All 3 of my vehicles are on their fastpass which is one low monthly payment for unlimited washes! Yes UNLIMITED! Me and my family love that we can go anytime and get our cars washed. The wash is phenomenal, its a 100% hand wash so nothing scratches or creates swirl marks on your vehicle. The attention to detail is great and my cars always come out looking great. Love the people as they are always nice and friendly. The gift shop inside is also nice, my wife loves to browse around and always purchases cards or gifts for events we have coming up. Awesome place to get your car washed as well as auto repairs! This is my GO-TO for anything my car needs attention on, hand washes, detailing the car, oil changes, and any major repairs like brakes, A/C services all that! Customer device is unmatched. Craig and the staff at Five Star really bailed me out of a jam. I was trying to change the oil on a car I recently bought, but found the previous owners service station had put the oil drain on too tight. The nut was already partly rounded off, and my best attempts only made it worse. I called Craig and he said bring it right over as they were closing soon. I got there 20 minutes before close, they got me right in there. They probably spent 10 minutes trying to get that drain plug off, but they finally did! Craig replaced it with a plug that has a larger head so it would be less likely to strip again. They did the oil change using the oil and filter I had already bought to do it myself and only charged me for the labor. Their staff were helpful and friendly, and I was so relieved they fixed my car! For that, Five Star gets 5 stars in my book!

One of the nicer car washes in the area. Nice and clean facility to wait in. Would have given 5 stars but for the price you shouldnt get home and find spots they missed.

Its okay. Not great in any particular way. I went in and got the middle range service. I dont believe its worth the money I paid for seeing as I can go to a different car wash and get the same for about $18 instead of paying $32 like I did here. I didnt bother going in and talking to anybody about the areas of my truck that were still super dirty because I didnt feel like waiting another 45 minutes for a job they should know how to do. I wont be returning*EditSo after about a year I decided to give it another shot. Their service was good but their attention to detail is still lacking. Update:After some conversations between general manager and I, long story short, in total, I came back here with the van pictured and another van of equal dirtiness, in a total of 4 washes. First and foremost, the general manager is an amazing person! The establishment is lucky to have him. I was able to do a secret shopper type test (on a monday around 3:15pm, manager was not around). I definitely felt like I gave them a proper test. On the 2nd van, part of the bottom of the front windshield was not properly done. One side of the windows on the van still had spots but I was later educated that they were calcium depots/hard water so just for other ppl reading this review, a car wash wont be able to get those out and you shouldnt expect them to. I did get a chance to check out the operations a bit and they do hand wash your car with power washers as well as physically washing your car by hand. So there definitely can be a component of human error but at least your car wont be damaged from bristles. I am definitely a big fan of this because sometimes, other places will advertise as hand wash but it really isnt. As Ive pointed out in some of my previous reviews, if the food is acceptable, or in this case, if the wash is acceptable and customer service is excellent or beyond reproach, ppl will come back. I do believe that maintaining a certain level of quality can be challenging, given the human element, but everyone here works as a team and they really make a strong effort to produce high quality washes without you having to pay lots of money for detailing service.I do wish that they had a discounted plan if you plan on bringing 2+ vehicles. Perhaps in the future they can work on a business model around this.Overall, this is a great establishment with excellent customer service. Every employee is different and your interactions with them will be as well but if you have any questions or concerns, definitely reach out to the general manager. I will definitely be coming back here and recommend this place to others.First review:Came here first time based on reviews an opted for the basic unlimited car wash to test them out. Itd probably would have been a 4 star review had it not been for obvious spots that werent cleaned. Lots of dirty spots on the main hood that are very visible. I know this is not a detailing place but some areas shown in the photos, those are not detailing locations. Half the dash board still had dust on it. This wasnt a tiny nook, it was on the huge flat surface. Again, the large flat surface is not what I would consider a detailing site. The rest of the outside of the car was great, no dirt in all the major areas. Also, left two water puddles on the driver seat. I dont think they clean the chairs in the basic package but if you added water spots, it takes seconds to just quickly wipe it up. This place does get a lot of traffic and they need throughput, I get it, but missing very obvious things is not up to standard.In terms of interactions with employees, all were nice, helpful, and patient.I would say ymmv when it comes to a place like this. Ill definitely be trying out their competitors.

I love this place. They earn my business every time! Ive been coming here for several years. I even brought my daughter, who was visiting from out of state, when her AC went out. It was a must fix! And fix they did! Inexpensively and quickly. They never price gouge, upsell or perform unwarranted services. They explain everything and let you make the decisions. If its a tricky problem, they will keep after it until it is right and not charge you for anything over and over. I just returned from having them track down an ongoing problem and they did an excellent job. Grateful for their expertise, hard work, loyalty to customers and professional demeanor. Ive been to other auto repair places in town, and this one is the best Ive found.

I took my truck in with some stains on the seats. seats are looking fresh and new. only took them an hour to deep clean the entire truck. i was expecting half a day. love this place. i wont go anywhere else.

Im actually upset with myself as I gave this car wash a second chance with the same result.My Results:1. Nice People2. approx 1 in 3 leaves car unacceptably dirty in and out3. Seats, mirrors and other car settings routinely way, way out of alignment4. Instructions (easy) like dont clean inside back windows, are ignored almost 1050% of the time5 Last straw. My rearview window was actually knocked off and they were frantically trying to put it back on without even hooking up the internal mirror electronics. Cramming it on.this is too bad as they are quite nice people. They just chronically do a bad job.

Best car wash hands down. I have a 9 month old daughter and she can get very impatient. They were quick and efficient. My car was completed before she could even get into a crying fit. It was clean, shiny and dried before getting back to me. All the milk spills and food crumbs from baby were GONE. Easy and priced extremely reasonable considering its hand washed! You can tell the difference. They have a little store you can walk around inside with some cool things to see, and the people working are extremely nice and friendly. My new go to spot!

The team at 5 star was very responsive to my needs and made sure to address all my concerns. I appreciated their attention to detail and willingness to do a fantastic service on my vehicle. These guys really know their stuff. Oscar has worked here for 21 years. He removed some really bad hard water spots. They did a great job and charged a reasonable amount. I will continue coming here as long as they are fair with their prices.

Service was fast and friendly. Way better result than going through a gas station wash or a Quick Quack. The interior was extremely well hand-cleaned and left spotless. The staff took very good care of me as soon as I pulled in. Was in and out in 15 mins! Highly recommend this place!

Great place where they take care of you! I mistakenly thought I left my phone in my car during the wash, so when it wasnt there, I wasnt too happy. Each of the team members reassured me that they would take care of me. They helped me search for the phone, then promptly notified the manager to help me. They were attentive, took me seriously, and made me feel like a valuable customer. In the end, I had left my phone at home (Find My Phone is a must-have app!). Great service, honest, trustworthy, and superb car wash, too!
