How could it be that theres only one entrance in and out of this particular Safeway?People literally knock each other over to enter and exit the store.Isnt that a fire hazard?Otherwise, I love the deli.Im referring to the Safeway at Rivertowne Commons in Oxon Hill, MD.

I had no issues shopping here. The store was clean & seemed very organized! Definitely would want to visit again! I really appreciated some of the low prices!!

A very good grocery shopping Mart for your daily needs. The store is a full service store that has flowers, pharmaceutical Isle, bakery, stationary, meat, all sort of condiments, a large section of organic fruits and vegetables. The Safeway also has a redbox in the complex. In order to use the deals they offer, one needs to enroll in their Safeway rewards program and register through their app. Most of the deals are accepted by scanning through their app on your phone. The prices are competitive with other orders around. On the China side, you will have a tough time finding a parking for your car. So, plan accordingly.

The entire personnel - managers, salespeople, cashiers- are attentive, helpful, and friendly. They go out of the way to help you find what you need. The pharmacists are exceptional: knowledgeable, focused, always willing to answer your questions and give some advice if necessary. I am very happy to have such a store in my neighborhood!

Very big safeway, a lot of various items, you can find what your looking for at a good deal too

Store was clean and easy to navigate. It took me a minute to find a staff member to help me get something off a high shelf but when I did find someone they were very nice and helped me right away...I wish they were 24 hours but I am glad that at least they are open until midnight.

Safeway is to Spencer and we need to wait to much in line and costemor service never have people there wait until someone comes. Believe me costemor first! Dont let peoples wait! So your stories will be more successful!,

Shop here the store is very clean .The isles are very wide, and that makes it easy for social distancing and finding what your looking for here at Safeway.

The seafood guy was very kind and helpful. Even though I was asking about meat. They only have one cashier. Several self service lanes. I wasnt impressed with produce department. The 🥦was rubbery. (Old). The floral department was wonderful. Clean and fresh looking. A couple prices didnt ring as signed. When I went to customer service and showed a pic of the signs. Nothing else was said. Just do you have the card you used. What about sorry for the inconvenience. Especially since I waited 10 minutes for someone to help me.

This is a great Safeway! Its clean, airy, and tje employees are friendly. The grilled/fried chicken is amazing. The Mango Habanero is Fire!!! Definitely worth the trip!

Horrible store to shop at. I went to pick up my husband from work as well as some groceries just to over hear the general manager telling his employees how horrible of a job they are doing as a former GM you should have all the respect in the world for the people who make your job easier that was discussing how I over heard the management at this location treat and talk to there employees something needs to change this will not be the only stop I make about making it heard on how this location treats people. HR will hear about this also.

Big and clean. Be careful, a lot of expired products on the shelves. Self checkout is a nightmare because it has the weight sensors, so most of the time you need assistance.

We have been buying French bread from the bakery section at Safeway. The quality of the bread was always good. Recently, however, the quality of the bread has deteriorated and it tastes really bad. We hope that this issue willbe fixed soon. Very disappointed.

My family and I need it assistant at customer service. An employee told us: IM JUST AN EMPLOYEE HERE! . It doesnt matter, just assist the customers at CUSTOMER SERVICE. I did talk to the store manager and pray that she spoke to him.

As much as I love the size of the store, which is rather HUGE, it actually doesnt have as much as it should.

They are very picky with dogs. All other Safeways allow dogs inside, but this one always have this annoying guy that tells you to leave if youre with a dog, even a lap dog that is not walking around. This place used to be better.

Love the choice of products. Produce is great, breads fresh and delicious. Lots of dairy and frozen. Im vegetarian so I cant comment on meat products.

A lot of options! Didn’t have a mask on so when asking for one they told me I’ll need to hold a paper towel to my face which is uncalled for, finally a manager came out and gave me one.

My vist yesterday Sunday the 9, was the worst experience, at Twinbrook Safeway!! Grey hair female employee, followed me around the store. After purchasing, she standing at self service, looking at me. Like I had stolen something. Think and know it was a Black thing. If she only knew, how much money, I spend, every two weeks, n Oxon Hill, Safeway. That employee needs to b check!! 🤔 and yes I will be there again. And a where of her! 😒

This Safeway is always nice & pleasant atmosphere. It was nice to see a familiar face from a different Safeway I use to go too. He was always nice & kind too. Glad to see him doing good.

This is one of my preferred grocery stores. It is always clean and organized. The staff at this location is always helpful and provides a high level of customer service. Prices are comparable overall. Even in the midst of a pandemic, service has been high quality, with a minor exception.The pharmacy is great too. Some of better prices for medications, if not using insurance. Pharmacist(s) always explains new medications with tips on when/how to take/use prescription.Garage parking is free for first 2 hrs. Be mindful if metered street parking and hours, as you will get a ticket.

Good for buying frozen food or vegetables. But I bought spoiled fish and meat here so no more fish or meat. I also found expired food sold here multiple timesPS. Good promotion! They sent me coupon which is not valid for 2 more weeks! You come, you shop and they tell you you cannot apply what we have sent you. Never again. Hope this shop will close soon

Customer service could be a bit more friendly. Always when I ask someone for help there is nobody around, and If I get somebody they don’t know anything about where are located some items in the store. Safeway has always be more expensive from other stores in the area.

I like this Safeway because it is probably the largest one in this area so you have a larger selection to choose from. They seem to be pretty well stocked. However, the produce selection at this location is consistently terrible.

Nice neighbourhood grocery store which is open late. They have better prices in general compared to other big grocery stores like Giant. The selection of vegetables is small though. One can save a lot using their club/rewards card and highly recommend using their app, which sometime has freebies and discount coupons. Parking is hard to find in front of the store; however, there is plenty of space in the underground parking lot.

Will never shop here again. The security guard had the nerve to ask if I paid all my groceries in front of everyone! He said it was because I put everything of the scanner scale and then in my bags after I paid. Like no one else does this!?!? I am embarrassed. If you want to accuse someone of shoplifting maybe pay attention to what they are doing first. They will be getting a complaint filed against them.

This is an amazing store. The employees are very friendly and helpful, everything is clean and organized too. They have a very good organic section as well as a bakery. It is much easier to use coupons at Safeway compared to Giant because of their very lenient coupon policies. If you want a good price and quality, then head to this Safeway, especially during their Monopoly program.

One of the less crowded Safeways Ive been inside. Had a parking garage underneath with free parking for the first hour or two and seemed very new.

My experiences with deli is not good. Queen is name the person help me She need work on her customer service skill. Beside that you security make me feel uncomfortable One time my husband when to Safeway described this security person rude because, he stared yell asked why he didnt follow the arrow. Now he sees and follows us all times. Safeway needs better service.You knows how many supermarkets are here in Rockville Pike.

A large Safeway location. One of the cashiers was very friendly and helpful. They now sell the limited edition Crystal Pepsi.

Very clean and kept well stocked. I notice that like most other Safeways the prices tend to be higher than what you would pay at Giant,Shoppers and Walmart.

Everyone was very nice. Nice selection of produce and even has a small organics section to include both fruits and veggies. Organic avocados are nice. However, has some urban elements for a suburban store. Urban = homeless, BTW.

Indoor parking is free for 2 hours so shop dry when it is pouring rain. Love the flower department, and free food preparation area. Deli and grab and go are also great. Top it off with gas rewards for when you buy food and it is where we shop.

Employees were very nice, overall extremely clean and prices are pretty good. I was never a fan of Safeway, this is the only Safeway I would go to.

Quality products, fresh vegetables and fruits. You can get cut veggies and cut fruits for your salads and even enjoy a takeaway meals depending on your mood. Frozen foods pizzas and a range of ice creams are also there. Household needs and groceries are also present.

I had to go to bed bath and beyond and this safeway is very convenient. In combination with all the coupons saved to my card, I paid $1.70 for $13.00 in food. Whats not to love?

I like this store. It is huge and almost never crowded. The staff here are helpful and the selection is great. It is not an inexpensive store, but it has many of the ordinary American foods and also a selection of foods from around the world. It is nice to have a traditional grocery store in our neighborhood to compliment all of the smaller specialty markets.

Clean store, friendly cashier, one thing I dont like she was not asking and charged us bag fee - which only to bag toothpaste and a banana

We always go to this Safeway even though it is out of the way. The staff is always helpful. Especially during these Covid Days. As for the customers, they cant follow simple instructions as in one way aisles and keep distances.

Great supermarket, with very friendly employees compared to Giant or Shoppers. Always has the absolute lowest price on most products. Their coupon policy is very lenient too. Their store brand “Signature” has very high quality products. If you go in the spring, make sure to check out their Monopoly program.

Seafood department doesnt seem to know how to scale fish. Ive bought about 5 salmon fillets in the last month that Ive had to scale myself, at home, with a butter knife. Ive called to complain about it and talked to customer service on Twitter and still, today, more scales. Im done.

In Rockville, this is my go to place for quickly picking up groceries, even though I have plenty of choices (approximately 4 near by grocery stores from which to choose). For me the draw back odd this place is their produce section. I wish they had more like the nearby Harris Teeter, Trader Joes, Giant.It is my go to place because there is underground parking and the parking spots are pretty wide. Also it is the closest.

The self checkout machines are terrible, slow & annoying. The geniuses who selected them should be fired, but it wont happen. If they dont lose customers, theyll be able to lay off cashiers & give themselves fat bonuses .
