Jim talked me out of spending $700 on a mercury branded prop and got me what I needed for half the price. Unfortunately, the first prop I ordered didnt work as expected. He was quick to order me a better option and let me swap in the slightly used prop.Good customer service and great guy. Also - he can get props overnight, where many websites will require +7 days to arrive.

We had to move old boat to Houston with bad trailer. Jim went out of his way to help us get our trailer movable. Then he sold us a trailer. He went on sunday and went to lake to switch our boat to his trailer! No big boat company would have begun to go out of their way to help us likethat! Anyone that needs ANYTHING boat related has to go to BOAT CENTER!!

Do not recommend. The owner will not listen to what you want. Instead, he interuptted me to tell me that what I want is wrong and would not defer from attempting to sell me what I had no interest in. Refused to even budge. Poor customer service and sales skill is non-existent. Just wanted to sell me most expensive version of what I really didnt want. Then proceeded to tell me Im an idiot for wanting what I did. Will never cast a shadow on their door again.

Hands down my go-to place for anything boat or duck hunting related. This place has what is very hard to find: An owner that is insanely knowledgeable, yet dead honest. He talked me into a less expensive boat because he insisted it was better for my needs. He was completely correct & I’m glad that he saw my buyers excitement and brought me back to earth lol.

Read this! I listened to the good reviews. I shouldnt have. 17 days for a single fuel hose to be replaced. I was quoted 2-3 days. They tore my hydraulics apart because they were working on the WRONG BOAT! When they realized the issue, they tried to get me to pay for new hydraulic lines. I refused so they put my old lines back on. End of story? No. They cross threaded the lines putting them back on allowing a steady drip of fluid to cover my boat in hydraulic fluid. I now have to pay for that fix somewhere else (obviously) when that wasnt even why i took it in.

I just bought a used boat and I took it to The Boat Center to have it serviced. Jim was very helpful and explained everything to me as this is my first motor boat and I dont know much about them.I have to say that it is hard to find a mechanic who will honestly tell you when you need something done and when it is best to wait. A shady mechanic could easily have sold me a ton of service and products that I didnt need just because I wouldnt know any better.One thing to note is that when I got the boat back and put it in the water for the first time there was a problem. I figured my Sunday fishing trip would be shot, but I called Jim and he met me almost immediately and fixed the issue and I was able to salvage my trip.He stands behind his work and I highly recommend him.

We dropped off our boat for a simple job, and 6 weeks later after being promised for weeks it is still not done. We will not be back!

We had a mishap with our boat trailer while visiting Beaver Lake and was told by a walmart employee about this place. The owner looked at it and told us it could be fixed. He made several calls looking for the part we needed and finally had to order one. When it came in it was repaired within 2 hrs.Thank you very much.
