I had been looking for a particular model and color truck for a couple weeks and had been to multiple big name dealerships. After longs hours of haggling and the bs that comes with buying a car I decided to expand my search radius further. I found the truck here at Sherold salmon and was intended on using it as bait to get a better deal at the big dealership. Bought a 2004 truck with my son. It was his first car purchase. We live in East Cobb, Marietta. The night we drove it home the instrument panel and heater were not working correctly along with dimming lights. I called Ben, our salesman, the next morning. He arranged for us to take the truck to our local mechanic that day. The truck needed a new alternator and battery. Ben along with the dealership agreed to pay for a new alternator and battery and we had it fixed that day. I have to say that is great customer service by Ben and everybody at Sherold Salmon. Spoke with Harper maybe a month ago about being interested in the 2010 Dodge Avenger they had on lot. Went the next morning and met with Harper with my mother. He was giving us this good “salesman” talk about how the car was in great condition and nothings wrong with it. Bought the car $5200 cash, picked it up and 30 min later it overheated on me. They came and got the car for me and had their mechanic see what the issue was. Got a call a couple of hours later letting me know it was ready. Picked it up and it overheated on me again later that night. They did come out to Dallas to pick the car up and had it for 2 weeks to figure out the issue. Most dealerships will not do that for you but they did. Come to find out it was the radiator, the water pump, and the head gasket. . So Sherold Salmon actually “fixed” my car and Gave it back maybe 3 weeks later. Driving it and feeling good and then I have an oil leak.. I called and asked Calvin and Harper for the invoice so I could see what exactly was replaced on my car. Calvin gave me the run around saying that they couldn’t give me the paper. He told me to call where they “fixed” my car, Redmond Auto Care, to get the receipt. Called and Mike told me that the invoice that was given to Sherold Salmon was the receipt with a 30 day 1,000 mile warranty. Called Calvin and Garper and they let me know I could pick the paper up on Monday. Decided to go to meineke.I go to Meineke and come to find out that they didn’t replace anything on my car but the head gasket. Everything else was still old. Calvin told me they used Redmond Auto Care. He said they spent well over $2000 but use them because they get a really good deal. I kept asking to see what pieces were “replaced” and he got to the point where he said he’s going to end the conversation. That’s because I got him caught up in a lot. I know lemon laws in Georgia are not for used cars BUT a car salesman can not tell you that a car is great when in reality it’s a piece of trash. Y’all are fraudulent and I will make sure to let everyone know that. Y’all didn’t put any new pieces and more than likely got those from a pull a part as to why you didn’t want to show me this supposed “invoice”

My son bought his first vehicle over a month ago . His salesman was great but there was several mix ups that left us frustrated. His paperwork was sent to a previous address and left him in a bind with getting his tag . He was also told since he was in the Air Force he didnt pay avloir taxes so it wasnt added to his loan. Once he finally got paperwork he had to pay 1400 for the taxes . Now everyone is changing their stories . I would suggest all people know the laws and dont just sign on the dotted line like my son did . Now he has a car payment, insurance and a high credit card bill .

I had been driving by Salmon Auto Super store for quite a few months looking for a Jeep. I am from Dallas Ga. and had just left my doctors office after having a followup visit for knee surgery. I happen to notice a Jeep Grand Cherokee there on the lot that I had seen previously on their webb site. I told my husband to stop and just look since I was feeling to great.
