Super friendly work crew this morning! Delicious White Chocolate Mocha Espresso! Banana Toast was really good!

After hearing about Lumina for a while from friends in the area, I knew I had to stop by when I came to Rome again. And it did not disappoint! For breakfast, you cant go wrong with the elevated breakfast sandwich. And if you want a pastry, the coffee cake muffin is a must. And the coffee is so good! I would highly recommend Lumina Coffee Co.!

Absolutely incredible. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Just got my order about 15 minutes ago and had to post a review!!! Wow the coffee, very good, but then they also had food!!! Omg one way to my heart is food and when I saw banana toast I just had to get it. Well I was expecting some normal plain Jane bread but nay nay I opened the package and behold a BEAUTIFUL banana toast. It was like the lights of heaven shined upon me and gifted me this beautiful toast. And the smell!! Absolutely delicious!! And I couldn’t write a review and not mention the amazing customer service. If I could use one word I would say incredible. The young lady over the intercom was so sweet and just amazing. Then as we roll up to the window there she was being just a ray of hope and so full of life. I would have gone back just to witness her kindness again. I’m not sure of her name but she had brown curly hair and a lovely smile. To the owner if you ever read this give her a raise and treat her right because people like her don’t come around too often. Amazing. Just amazing.

First time here and Ive got to say the service was outstanding. Coffee is great and their California breakfast sandwich was amazingly good. Definitely going back again tomorrow for my morning coffee.

Quick stop on our way across Georgia. What a great surprise to stop at Lumina Coffee Co in Rome for an expresso and bagel. The assiago bagel was to die for. And had the best expresso in a long time! The friendly service awesome! Thank you.

This isnt a coffee chain venue, but it should be! The staff are ALWAYS pleasant and professional. Theres a wide variety of menu items, and the coffee is AMAZING!

Whilst very busy for the morning, the staff were very pleasant and informative as this was my first time ever being here. I love that you can get your coffee with almond or soy milk, instead of regular. It was a great experience!

I forgot coffee for the truck so i stopped here on my way to work. It looks like college students are studying in there- nice, quiet, large area to sit inside or outside. Cashier ground my beans perfectly for french press. Im up and ready for work at 3am enjoying the “Ilford” blend, but my load wont be ready until after the sun comes up. My friends and family are all asleep, and even the other drivers went back to sleep so this delicious coffee is my whole world now.I’ve been passing Lumina on my way to and from work now for four months now with curiosity, but not enough to actually go in until I needed something from them. Selfish? Yes, but now I am posting this five star review to make up for the guilt I feel for treating Lumina like my dad when I need money for unexpected car repairs. Wasn’t it enough to just pay the $15 for a 12 ounce bag of freshly ground coffee? Well yeah, but now Im bored just drinking this coffee alone at 3am, or 0300 in military time cause Im cool.I read a lot of reviews of coffee places in the Rome area. It looks like there’s a place right in the center of Rome they call “Rome’s living room.” A younger version of me would have gone there, but yesterday I just needed a bag of ground coffee, and Lumina is much more conveniently located on my route. I’ve never been to this other place, but Im imagining a historic building downtown with limited parking, limited space, waiting in line, and a noisy crowd. Lumina, in contrast to this place Ive made up, is a free-standing building with a huge open parking lot. There were maybe about 35 people there on a Monday afternoon- inside studying or outside socializing with dogs. I mean it was people outside socializing with other people who happened to have a dog- not people socializing with dogs.I was looking at reviews to figure out if they sell bags of ground coffee I can make in my truck with a french press. Let me inform you that, yes, they have bags of beans in different flavors they will kindly grind for you any way you want it, including course, but not like big chunks. The bags have easy to read descriptions of the coffee flavor, including the diagram for how dark the roast is out of the five circles. My Ilford blend is 4/5 darkness with a full body and notes of cocoa and spice: perfect.Now I’m going to look up what “process: washed & wet hulled” means, and also what “Elevation: 1200-2100 MASL” means. Im assuming MASL stands for “miles above sea level” and not “meetings after silly laughter”. Maybe they were so high while growing this coffee that they broke out into silly laughter and had to have 1200-2100 serious meetings about it.

The place is my new coffee place. Love the environment the staff is always friendly and already know who I am. Looking for a place for nice cool morning and a hot cup of coffee this is the place.

Vanilla Frappuccino is the best they have I think its a nice location to stop in before or after a braves game

My daughter loved her caramel blended and the cup of Medium roast with a shot of French vanilla creamer and some sugar was so delightful. The best coffee Ive ever had! Will definitely be back.

I cant say enough good things about Lumina. Platinum standard customer service. In particular Chloe and Christopher go above and beyond with kindness, professionalism and exceptionalism, but i have never met a Lumina staff member who didnt impress me. The breakfast sandwiches are the best in Floyd County, truly, and the coffee is rich and delicious. The interior is always immaculate. A true Rome GA gem. Thanks, Lumina! We love you!!!!

It would take me days to explain all the reasons why I love Lumina coffee company. I left to support local but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. I ordered the strangest salad because I am really health-conscious about the way I eat. They offer so many healthy options and have so many great guarantees about the sources of their food. Their coffee is also incredible. They have by far the best green ice tea I’ve ever had in my life. Every time I go I am greeted with smiles and wonderful service. I will be a lifetime customer and I tell everyone to go there and try their food!

Did you ever notice the first cup from the pot was better than the rest of it? Thats because its different. Within five minutes brewed coffee evaporates chemicals which make it better. When my wife wants a latte I usually hit my Keurig machine (first cup) before I go. Here you can get that fresh cup, they understand coffee. Yay, skill over expediency!

Great place to stop by for coffee, everything tastes pretty good. Sandwich’s are delicious like the elevated or California! Gets the job done, very flavorful. Also has nice decor if you stay inside, lots of room and tables for meeting up or studying. Neat counter top to sit at as well by the baristas. Soft couches. Clean bathrooms. Free WiFi!

Really good coffee and toast!

Best coffee I’ve had in a while. I’m Vegan and don’t eat out or have coffee much because most in Rome don’t have many options. Jose, who took my order was so kind and excited to help. He was very knowledgeable on their plant-based options and recommend what was probably the best Latte I’ve ever had. And the mask did not stop his smile. Even if my order was sub-par, I’d be back just because of his inviting personality.

By far one of the best coffee houses I have been to. The quality is exceptional. The panini is the best I have had especially at a coffee house. Lumina definitely does not lack in taste! Just passing through unfortunately. I hope to be able to stop here again soon!

Cant brag on this place enough! I came through the drive thru for the first time today and my drink was delicious, the guy in the drive thru window was extremely nice and pleasant to talk to, and our banana toast was better than I could have EVER expected!!!!!! Both presentation and taste were outstanding! Will 100% be coming back if I pass through Rome again!

One of my favorite places in Rome. The service is always fast and the staff is very nice. The food and drinks are excellent. An added bonus is that when you eat inside there are reusable cups and dishes so it is more eco-friendly than other coffee shops. The aesthetic of the place is so cute and very relaxed. It is perfect to go and work on homework or study.

This is one of my favorite places, not only for coffee, but for lunch and breakfast as well. Their roasts and paninis are incredible! Their coffee is delicious along with their homemade syrups. On top of their product their staff is so kind and helpful. They are always chipper and radiate positive energy! Additionally Lumina has astonishing seating areas. It is very open and clean therefore easy to work or just relax.

A delightful coffee shop offering thoughtful and quality selections. They offer plant based milks and they will honor your individual dietary needs with curtesy and a smile. Such a treat!

I love going here. The coffee taste like coffee and not sugar. All of the staff is super friendly. Emily is usually the one in drive thru when I come by and she’s always so sweet and answers any questions I have. Every food item I’ve had has been delicious.

I love Lumina Coffee! So glad this place opened up while my wife and I are living here in Rome. The coffee is excellent..The food is absolutely delicious (breakfast or lunch) and really good quality all around. The inside is always really clean and all of the staff is beyond friendly. I like to get work done as you can see in the pictures I supplied. They also sell these organic dark chocolates that are much cleaner ingredients than most sweet snacks out there. 5 star all the way

I gave it five stars even due to recent miscommunications. I love this place. However, the last couple times Ive had coffee put in my hot chocolate...There customer service is SPOT ON! They are so incredibly polite and respectful. They gave me no excuses, but only solutions and apologies ☕💕 I do think the reason it is a bit inconsistent is due to the recent new hires ( a lot of them Ive noticed) that just are in the middle of training and that stuff just happens to be honest... Practice will make perfect Im sure 🙂 which just means I need to order more often to help them practice a bit more lol so my solution lets give them even more business so they can get in that practice! 🙂

The coffee here is great! I have been here multiple times since it has opened and the location has great selections on food and drinks. I often just get a very simple iced vanilla latte and it is always really good. A few times some of the workers have tried to push their suggestions onto me, and I dont appreciate that very much and it makes me think twice when I consider going here, but when I get what I want I am always pleased!

Good service, sometimes (usually in the evening) the coffee tastes like it is old.

Delicious banana toast and sweet potatoes

Its like a step up p from Starbucks. I got a simple mocha and the artistic foam pattern on top was really pretty, but it paled in comparison to the ones on the fancier drinks my colleagues got. Luminas service was friendly and the atmosphere is very cozy and modern at the same time with a nice combination or wood, glass, and stone. I definitely want to go back and try some of their other drinks.

Lumina coffee is very good! Just wish it was open a little later since it is in a college town. The best studying is done at night, but they close at 9. Elizabeth Anne took my order, and she was absolutely amazing! Such a joyful employee. You are lucky to have her!!!

I am temporarily working in Rome Monday-Thursday. The hotel offers a free breakfast but once I found Lumina, I now get up earlier just so I can sit and sip in this beautiful space. The coffee is easy to drink. I usually prefer a super bold cup in the morning. This is not that kind of coffee. Even the bold is mild, but it is smooth. This place eases you into the morning. If you need to be jolted out of your grogginess, go somewhere else. It is so serene, even prayer groups meet here regularly. What a way to start your day. It is coffee meditation.

Cute little coffee shop off the campus if Geirgia Southern. Coffee is good but also a selection of gifts and a casual atmosphere. Always students there studying so pretty good environment for that.

More than a great logo! The interior is as warm and welcoming as their staff is. PLENTY of seating and tables are perfect for getting work done. Additionally, Music volume is kept at a very low level to allow for concentration. The coffee is pleasant and the house made syrups are a plus.

This coffee shop is an awesome spot to meet people, relax, or do some work. It has plenty of light and is very open. It’s a great place to get a quick meal. They have breakfast sandwiches and paninis and salads for lunch. As for the coffee this seems like a step up from Starbucks. They do have a drive through which is great for quick stop. Even though they do have single origin coffee, I would not say this is quite a 3rd wave coffee shop.

I am thoroughly chuffed. I enjoy plopping down, pulling out my laptop, and cranking out work as I sip on a scrummy coffee beverage. Lumina really knows their onions and creates a perfect atmosphere for such amenities. With options such as couch seating, tall table seating, bar seating, and classic table seating, this new coffee shop has this bloke chuffed.Granted, with Berry and other unis nearby, youll find this place chockablock with college students. This could make you a little miffed, but dont worry, theres enough space so its unlikely youll be asked to budge up. This might be the perfect place to skive off from school or work.Though youll have to dish up some dosh for your beverage or pastry, you wont find yourself cheesed off at the quality. Whether youre skint or a nob, come to Lumina and youll have a blinding experience.

This new, locally owned coffee shop is wonderful. Plenty of seating options; pastries, sandwiches and salads on the menu, and great service. And dont forget the coffee! We have been here twice for breakfast. Loved the almond croissant.

I was visiting Rome for 2 days and found Lumina. This place was wonderful and it had a great atmosphere, customer service and best of all coffee! I would highly recommend stopping by whether you live here or are just passing by!

So excited to have Lumina in Rome! I love the coffee, the atmosphere, and the friendly service. Also thrilled to have a local coffee shop with plenty of parking and seating! The food has also been a surprising treat - so far Ive had a wonderful salad, several great sandwiches, oatmeal, and two amazing nutter butter desserts. It has become a new favorite place for me - Ive gotten hours of grad school study done at Lumina in the last couple months. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the hours. Very sad it now closes at 9:00 p.m. on weeknights (including Friday?!). I would be there more often if it was open later.

I stopped to check this place out expecting it to be ridiculously expensive because of how fancy the building looks... But was amazed to find prices half of what big chains charge. Coffee is great, nice decor with succulent plant center pieces and my favorite feature is the eco conscious paper straws!!!

I stayed in Rome recently for a camp and I stopped by here several times for various menu items. Everything I got was absolutely delicious. The nitro cold brew was my favorite. The service in the drive-thru was amazing and every employee was super nice. It was a super clean and the outside looked very nice. I will definitely continue to support!
