Had Domino fuel change our oil tank, was a little leary from reading a couple poor reviews but everything went great. The crew they sent were fantastic and professional. Very happy with the work done and the guys that were here doing it. A+ would definitely recommend them to anyone that asked.

These guys did a great job installing an oil tank in my basement. A few weeks later on a Sunday, I needed service because my heat wouldnt go on. They were at my house in a couple of hours and it was a quick fix.

Domino fuel oil runs a completely dishonest business. I called for a delivery and was only informed of two prices for oil. Upon delivery they gave me the bill for $173 but charged my credit card a totally different, higher amount ($289) When I called to rectify their error they were rude, nasty and argumentative and refused to have the owner call me or honor the bill amount. I would stay FAR away from this company!

Short and sweet. We are new home owners and were given the wrong number of what was left tank by previous owners oil company. We called DF on a weekend night and the delivery was to be between 2-4 hours. The truck pulled up closer to 2 hrs and now we can look for a new contract in the meantime. Having said that, its nice to have heat during the worst blizzard in 5 years. Thanks Domino!

They have been super accommodating to our needs. We have two large oil tanks that take 500 gallons. Every time I call the customer service is great and the delivery people have gone out of their way to help us. Our house is an old house and the driver literally has to jump a fence to get to our oil fill. Can’t ask for a better service!!

2 days wasted waiting for a technician to show up. I had an appointment this past Tuesday that was confirmed by the company. I waited home all day for someone to call me at 6pm that they need to reschedule for Friday at 9:15. Well here we are on Friday at 11:30 with no updates. I call the office and was told that they need to reschedule again for next Wednesday. Nothing worse than hours and hours being wasted while waiting for someone to show up.

We were in a jam and needed to get our furnace replaced ASAP before leaving for vacation. They had a reasonable price and were able to have a technician out within 2 days of initial contact. Job was done professionally, and everything went smoothly.

We have been using Domino for years. When we couldnt afford oil, they went out of their way to get us a delivery and allowed us to make payments on it. Not only have they done this, they are always friendly, and are very quick with oil deliveries. We ran out of oil recently, they came a couple of hours later and got us going. Ive had great experience with Domino Fuel. You can schedule delivery online, which Ive done most often and LOVE, but on instances Ive called the office the staff was helpful and nice. Their prices are amongst the lowest, plus they often send out promo codes. and Ive found their delivery to be quick, with friendly drivers.

DRIVER SCAMMED ME. Definitely my fault but you know what, your business will never go far when you work with scammers. If you do decide to call them, Make sure you CAREFULLY READ THE RECEIPT & the AMOUNT OF MONEY you give them. Money isn’t the issue to me it’s the respect factor. Called for service for weak flame fault on oil burner for my hot water heater, technician showed up replaced the nozzle with the wrong size looked at the flame through the sight glass instead of taking the plate off said it looked good and left, called the next day for the same problem said he needed to call the burner company and talk to a technician and come back the next day. Next day arrives no word from your technician even after I called, called another burner service company it was fixed in 15 minutes and there technician said the problem was a burner service 101 issue..I should of just thrown my $190 in the garbage.

I always buy my oil from Domino Fuel. There are not many companies that deliver COD in my area so I appreciate a company that will come up here and do the delivery with no problems or issues. Price is great (if I find a lower price they will price match for me) and they deliver pretty fast, usually the same or next day. Very happy with the service

Id like to thank Rob at Domino Fuel for being honest, professional and knowledgeable. Ive dealt with many oil companies over the years and unlike some of them, Domino Fuel did the right thing. Rob could have easily said I needed a much more expensive repair, because my knowledge of furnaces is pretty limited, but Rob was so kind to explain I just needed a simple part replaced. The difference in cost would have been thousands of dollars.

Weve been using Domino Fuel for years, longer than I can even recall. They are always prompt and fast in emergency situations. They really proved themselves this last winter when our boiler died on one of the coldest night, and they were able to get us a new boiler and have it installed the next day! Highly recommend them.

I had run out of oil after the recent winter blast we got. I called almost a dozen companies and they were the only ones who could do an emergency delivery. While I am grateful that they were able to come immediately I am quite disappointed in the fact that they beyond over charged me. They gave me 55 gallons for $200 which equates to $3.60 a gallon and every other company is charging 2.50-2.75 a gallon. They knew I was completely out and had limited funds and I feel that they exploited my situation.

We needed a new oil tank at my dads place. They provided a quick estimate for the work. We went ahead with their services, and within a couple of days theyd delivered the tank and set up everything. Seems to be in order and working well so far.

Disrespectful and Unprofessional.After you begged my mother to take her review down because you were so sorry on the phone that you disrespected her. She had no problem taking responsibility that the tank wasnt marked, after telling you guys over the phone hat the other tank was on the other side of the house. Its not the delivery guys fault people make mistakes. The problem is the owner and customer service attitude. Your drivers should go to another company. Even they said you guys are rude and mess up orders all the time. Factual statements very much do matter. And very mature and professional going back and fourth with previous customers. Exactly my point.

On automatic deliveries with another company. They messed up and I was out of oil. Called Domino @ 9 PM on 1/8/18. Even though I was in Merrick (not their usual service area) they sold me oil and it was delivered by 11 PM. (after having been told to expect it between 12 and 3AM). In addition, they even called me to inform me that the driver would be there in 5 minutes. If I could give 6 (or more) stars I would. I hope that they expand their contract services to my town so I can go with them, having lost confidence in my current provider.

You can get your fuel oil anywhere. The driver was fine, but in dealing with a problem that needed to be solved the owner was hard to get in touch with, completely unprofessional, had an unnecessary attitude, and was terrible at customer service. Delivery also came a day later than scheduled.Update 6/5:There are a few things that need clarification.#1 - the screenshot you posted has our full names, email and home address in it. You are not legally allowed to share my or my wifes personal information, so blur that out, or take it down. Otherwise, I will report you to the proper channels to have it removed#2 - I sent the screenshot you attached to my attorney, who assures me that it is more than sufficient proof that you had agreed to provide us with 30 gallons of oil at no charge. If you want to take us to small claims court, you are welcome to, but I am not paying for oil that I have proof I did not order unless the judge tells me to#3 - As per my call log, after our services were competed and you therefore no longer had any reason to contact us, you called me 5/23 at 4:57pm, twice at 5:09pm, 6:35pm, on 5/26 at 3:10pm and on 5/31 at 11:25am. That is more than the two times you claim to have called. Because of the aggression from you on previous calls, and the fact that our services were already completed so there was no reason for you to call us, I was again advised that there was no need to answer your calls, unless you left a message with a valid reason to return your calls, which you had not. Continuing to call us is considered aggravated harassment and you can consider this written notification that I am again requesting you stop.#4 - My wife only accused you of a scam, the following morning, after you had not returned my calls. She only reached out to cashheatingoil to get answers, because you hadnt provided us with any, and they got to the bottom of the situation immediately, so that turned out to be a good call. The DEC, homeowners insurance and environmental clean up crew were all baffled by the lack of oil under our tank for a 200 gallon spill, especially as the tank was atop a hill. They all asked if we were sure it was 200gal because the concrete next to the tank wasnt stained and the the grass did not appear or smell as if contaminated by oil. If the professionals were baffled, then in my opinion, it was justifiable for us to be confused by it as well. There is a question as to if there was negligence on your companys behalf, which at the moment, we do not plan to pursue, however, we have been asked for your companies information, so it is possible that may get looked into further. For the record, my wife emailed cashheatingoil within an hour of the leaks discovery and clarified the misunderstanding on your behalf, although, she is considering reaching out to them about your nonprofessional tactics if you dont leave us alone.#5 - I do not have a problem with non-native speaking customers, as our own family is very diverse. I was just pointing out that you were not receiving many reviews until my negative review, so it seemed like a reputation management tactic rather than real reviews.

Had a emergency at 9pm. Water Pressure release valve leaked and filled my boiler room with about a inch of water. Called them and they said they would find someone to call asap. To their credit they did and I was told the repair man is finishing a job and I will be next. The guy never showed, never called NOTHING. Luckily a family friend came by and fixed it within 10 minutes. But if that didnt happen my burner wouldve been filling my whole basement with hot water because no one showed. Sorry guys but if you base a company on 24/7 emergency work then thats what expected.

TERRIBLE SERVICE !!! The people running this company are COMPLETELY RUDE AND LIE when confronted with factual statements. My mom called these people in the hopes of getting oil when it was freezing in the cause we me and my 7 month year old nephew. When waking up in the morning still cold my mom didnt think they came. Later finding out that they put the oil in the wrong spot. When my mom called to ask for a transfer they replied and quote WHY CANT YOU JUST TRANSFER THE OIL YOURSELF. Later going to the business and it is out of a GAS STATION with only ONE truck. Never worked with a more unprofessional establishment.They give false information on quotas and charge you extra later. Also, domino fuel do not even attempt to reply back to this with your imaginary story. Spreading the TERRIBLE word about you guys. Thank you.

I called the other day for an oil tank replacement, which mine was about to leak. I spoke to the girl at the company and she said she get back to me. The owner Carl phoned me back within 20 mins of calling the company. We basically made a deal over the phone for price and what tank I wanted replaced. His crew showed up the next day to replace-which I requested. I didnt have the slabs underneath my oil tank and Carl drove to Riverhead to get them for me! He didnt even charge me for them! It was good service and a fair price. Would use again!

$760 ON A BASIC SERVICE CALL AND 3 DAYS LATER!!!!!I dont normally review nor do I complain. This was easily my worst experience as a customer in any genre. Called for an emergency service on gas burner that went out on Sunday about 12pm. They said they will send someone out for 6pm. Great News Thankyou. Technician shows up and I inform him I had it serviced a couple months ago and it was just a bad thermocouple(20$ part). He seems to think there is a deeper issue. Mind you I am knowledgeable on how stuff operates being in the service industry myself and I have the same symptoms as the last time. He says I have a bad gas valve and he will need to pick this up in the am and for me to call and just have them put me priority and he will be back 1st thing. So Im pretty skeptical at this point but I figure ok whatever lets just get this thing fixed. So they charge me $160 for labor, see you first thing in the morning thanks.Tomorrow rolls around 9am,10am, nothing. So I was available until 12pm that day and after me calling several times that morning to see if someone was coming I finally get a call back around 1130 saying technician wont be able to make it until after 12pm can we set up for tomorrow?Okay now Im slightly frustrated but whatever being that its 20degree weather and Im already locked in with this company I then say well how about today anytime after 3pm. Guy who I assume to be the owner says okay maybe well call you. So then I say VERY politely I understand you guys are very busy right now in this season but honestly I think Id like to just call someone else and get my heat fixed 20 degrees outside. Really dont want my pipes to freeze. well we already bought the parts and can MAYBE make it tonight. I say if its a maybe then please Id just like to call someone else. We will make it there. About 4pm that day technician shows up installs new gas valve(valve didnt appear new at all either looked like he pulled off shelf). DOESNT FIX THE ISSUE! Also the owner called me and said the gas valve would be 380$. I called supply house and they sell the same exact valve for 260$ and when I confronted owner over the phone about it he said oh no yes thats a 1yr warranty on that we charge a little more for the warranty.... Oh so its 100$ up charge for a warranty?????. Upon the new gas valve not fixing anything I then recommend to the tech once again to try maybe replacing the THERMOCOUPLE. In the process of installing this 20$ thermo couple he snaps the gas line and then concludes he now has to get another gas line and will be back 1st thing tomorrow with it... Heading into day 3 of no heat and being already billed 760$ by the owner. I call the owner the night before to confirm they will be there FIRST THING. Oh yes you are priority 9am tomorrow we will be there. 9am,10am nothing. I have already taken off work for this so am now missing a days pay to assure my pipes wont freeze and after several morning phone calls I finally get a call around 11pm saying someone will be there between 12-1pm. Technician shows up around 2pm and finally installs thermocouple( all the boiler needed to work) and this nightmare is finally over. UNPROFESSIONAL, UNETHICAL and very RUDE. I hope no one else ever has to get ripped off or inconvenienced the way I did

I called for a delivery around 7:00pm because I was unknowingly running out of oil on a Sunday. I was told it would be 2.99 per gallon so whatever I needed oil they were suppose to deliver between 2-4 hours the oil was delivered at around 1am. The manager was very disrespectful I told them where to deliver the oil because I just recently installed an above ground tank and they put the oil in the wrong tank (under ground) needless to say I was without oil that evening into the next evening. The manager told me he delivered the oil and for me to transfer it myself. I went to the supposedly oil company which was a gas station and the attendant was acting like he doesnt know anything mean while theres a Domino truck outside (not the truck thats shown in the picture either). Needless to say this oil company is horrible they didnt answer the phone until the afternoon and customer service was rude and unapologetic of their mistake. I wouldnt even give this company one star.

I had a heap oil delivery. The delivery man totally overcharged heap. He did not do a restart and charged for it. I check my tank and I did not get the 50 gallon heap pays you for.In response.I did not get 50 gallons YOU charged for a restart too that was not done. Oil was not the right amount. Heap please beware of this service.
