Weve been using Lewis Complete for around 6 or 7 years now on an old Ford Expedition. Shawn and the entire crew there has been really good to work with. To date, they have been honest and there work has been very reliable. Parts and labor are not always something we like to see on a bill but they have always been transparent and conservative on their labor time. Shawn is always positive, up beat, and patient with a lot of my questions. Customer service is a high priority for them which means that they work hard to establish your trust. Very good group to work with and you can count on them!

These guys are a diamond in the rough. I havent had to have any auto work done in a while but my wifes GMC Acadia broke down. The last place I used had shut down so I didnt know where to go. These guys came recommended from an Police Officer in Rowlett so I figured I would try them out. I spoke to Shawn the entire way through the process. He kept me updated the whole time and even advised me on what to do to have my wifes car towed from the side of the highway to their shop. He made me feel at ease throughout the whole process. When he assessed the problem he told me what needed to be done and the cost. He had an opportunity to take advantage of me but didnt. He told me that after the first repair was complete, there could be more based on what the computer code was coming back with. I agreed to have whatever is needed done. After the first repair, that took care of all issues and there wasnt anymore that needed to be done so the first price he gave me was the final price. Very honest and admirable. You guys who have been taken advantage of in the past know thats not always the case.They also completed the work in 1 day but he didnt like how the engine was idling so he kept there to make sure it adjusted correctly. Above and beyond service.I will definitely return here for all my auto needs and recommend them to anyone. Good job Shawn and team and thank you!

This company has, for years, consistently provided my family with superior service at reasonable prices. They go out or their way to make the service experience memorable.

I took my car in to get my A/C looked at. They were very friendly and seemed knowledgeable when explaining what the problems were. Apparently the wire that was hooked up to the compressor was the wrong one and had melted parts of the system. They gave me a quote on how much it would cost to fix it ($1100 to fix the whole unit) but I didnt have the money so I had to try and suck it up and deal with the heat. To keep from damaging the system more, they zip-tied the wire out of the way. I finally couldnt stand no having A/C anymore and decided I would have another mechanic look at it before I take it back in, just to make sure Im getting a good deal. This other mechanic found the real problem. The controller on the dashboard wasnt connecting properly, and the rest of the unit was perfectly fine. The wire was the only part that had been burned and he said the reason for that was because the wire must have touched a hot part of the engine when it was taken out. I ended up paying only $150 to get my A/C working again. So not only did Lewis Auto Repair not figure out what was wrong, but they tried charging me a ridiculous amount of money for parts that I didnt need. Im so happy I went somewhere else instead of spending all that money on something that wouldnt have fixed the problem. Again, they were really nice people, but I dont think Ill be coming back here again.

Took my van Im for alignment after getting new tires, excellent customer service, work was done in less than 2 hours and that included installing camber bolt kit on both sides. 2 other shops in area wanted more than twice the amount I paid here. My van drives perfect and I will definitely recommend this shop and I will definitely be back for any other repairs.

Great family-owned mechanic that can help with a variety of car issues

This is my third visit with my Saturn Sky Redline Turbo-edition coupe. They found and repaired a blown head-gasket and warped head that three other shops did not or could not. Theyve done my brakes, and oil changes and fixed an air leak in the turbo. They are reasonably priced, extremely professional, and do exemplary work. The parts for my car are getting hard to find, but they manage every time! Im thrilled to have found them!

Ive lived in Rowlett and dealt with different shops over the years with not so good out come . I would not hesitate to recommend Lewis Complete Auto Repair. We are purchasing a used automobile and I needed a pre-purchase inspection performed on a Lexus we were considering. I called and spoke with Shawn who was very professional in helping me out. This repair facility had previously done work on this particular Lexus in 2017. They were familiar with what repairs had been done before and Shawn shared all that information with me concerning repairs. I arrived around the time I told Shawn I would and they quickly got busy doing the inspection. As it turns out we are purchasing the car after receiving the pre-purchase inspection where some minor maintenance repairs were recommended. I was told that the vehicle was very nice for its age and Shawn printed off those suggested items they found. They also gave me estimates on what these repairs would cost. I live almost an hour away from this business and this would be the only reason I wouldnt take my vehicles to them for service. I feel comfortable that Lewis Complete Auto Repair will treat any customer as I was treated, which was proficient and professional.

Dropped my car off on the day after Christmas because we were having issues with the car starting in the mornings. Sean and the guys took a look at it over the next several days and made some adjustments for me and now it starts right up. When I asked how much I owed them I was shocked to hear that I didnt owe them a dime!!!! They could have easily said they had to replace a few parts, charge me for their labor....anything.
