Great service dropped my keys off for an oil change. The nearby surrounding stores keep you busy for sure so I would say it was great. They even reminded me to replace my brakes.

I did a big cross country move and when I arrived in Utah my car was making odd noises. Dennis was so nice and helped me figure out what was wrong! Very nice and the service was really quick! Would highly recommend this site to anyone!

THANK YOU SO MUCH TO THE ENTIRE CREW HERE!I had a piece of my wheel well fall out while I was driving and it skinned the tire on my camper. After giving them a call, I rolled into the shop and they IMMEDIATELY got my trailer up and started working. Not only did they put my spare on (I got a jack now, at least!), but they even threw some plywood in the bed of truck to patch the wheel well and helped bang some of it back into place so I could finish my trip. The best part? He was honest, friendly, and cut me a huge deal on all of it.Thank you, guys, SO MUCH. Its amazing to see a shop work so well together and treat people fairly. If you’re looking for an honest & reliable brake shop out there, look no further........I came in for a free brake inspection which they offer and Dennis manage to show me what needs to be repaired and gave me a quote on how much it would cost, him and the crew definitely did a job well done in all aspects.Dennis has over 30 years of experience and understands tremendously what matters most to his customers and will do everything he can to make sure the job is done right. They also offer warranties on most services which can be used nationwide rather than local, I will come here for my next brake job if I’m anywhere in northern Utah or southern Idaho.

Dennis from Midas really helped us out.. We were stranded with a broken water pump and all the other mechanics in the area were booked out a week and a 1/2. Dennis said come right in and I will take a look at it, my Van had some motor mount bolts that seized up and he worked overtime to get me back on the road.

Midas is a great place they have cleaned up their act after a past manager about ran them into the ground I cant recall the older gentlemans name that manages it now but he is very efficient and I would take my care their for the best service around where they wont forge to put oil in your car when they change it. Yeah Im talking to you Jiffy Lube. Remember when it comes to auto needs you get what you pay for I like the higher price they charge because they do quality work and you wont be disappointed.

You need to be careful using this shop if you want to use your Midas Lifetime Warranty on brakes. I have all Midas brakes on 3 of my vehicles and never have an issue getting warranty work at the Logan Midas (now Cache Valley Autocare). The Roy location however denied warranty work on brakes that are 15 months old and cost me >$650 last summer. Its embarrassing enough that another Midas (owned by someone else) offered to cover the warranty work that Roy refused. I suggest not wasting your time at this location.

Right from the start Dennis was upfront and honest with his answers to my many questions on what may be the culprit with the check engine light.He was very helpful as he walked me through some parts and prices I may need. Honesty is key in life and not many mechanics care about your financial situation or will give you the 1 on 1 time like Dennis did for me.Im sure to come back and see Dennis at the Roy Midas location for my emissions and any repairs I cannot complete myself.

Brought in my car (with a coupon) for a oil change which included, oil, filter and tire rotation. Full synthetic was listed for $49, instead I got a discount of $10 and still paid $49 for synthetic blend. So I did not get what the coupon said I should get, and did not get tires rotated. Not coming back!

Pretty busy for a small shop. we had issues with the previous mgr with a refund a couple yrs ago and i wasnt very happy with his runaround back then. but this new mgr is awesome. went in for a brake check because mine was starting to squeel a while back. not only was i shown the actual condition of the brake pads and rotors but they explained which ones needed replacing which was only the front ones. lifetine warranty and a rebate too. definitely 5 stars

I like going to Midas more then ordinary Oil change places cuz they can do most everything for my vehicle! I used to go to Jiffy lube & I hated it because everytime they would check my air filter they broke the plastic breather pipe that goes to the engine which is about$200!

If you are looking for someone to take a look at your car and give you an honest assessment, and let you decide if you want to proceed with them, without pressure, then take your car here. Stop by talk with the owner, and schedule an appointment. This shop has a lot of loyal customers that appreciate the salt of the earth staff, so they tend to stay busy, but they will do their best to work you in. Theres a Bees cafe just across the street where you can enjoy down home cooking while you wait.

I dont rate places. But this is the best car shop in the area. They can fix anything and give you good pricing. Dennis is awesome. They will also show you the issues so you know its real.I had issues with my car I didnt even know about. Half my front axle was cracked and could have been a serious issue down the road. Took my truck in for a leaking exhaust manifold. 594 dollars and two days later with zero communication about what was going on they call me to come get my truck. A couple hour job turned into two days and when I did finally get my truck back it was leaking worse and louder than before with a “new manifold and bolts” Took it back in to have it looked at to be told they didn’t believe me without looking at it. Left and called my credit card company to dispute since they wouldn’t fix it. Hard to find a good mechanic anymore.

I didnt even go, I had a question about a weird sound my car was making and Denis figured it out and told me what to do over the phone.

And the nice part of this location is there is a fast food place and store within walking distance if you choose not to wait. Shane was the person who worked on my car putting on four new tires and doing an alignment. Id been putting this off for a while, but he made it much easier on me than expected!

I went to master muffler down the road where they fixed it for $150 out the door and runs and sounds great. So happy i went to get a second bid because i would have been majorly ripped off.

I have be honest, when big Tom retired, I was going to take my business elsewhere. The kid was a punk and they were open all hours gouging the owner I would guess. In comes this Dennis fellow. Smells like a cigarette factory in a old fashioned garage, shoots straight with you. I LOVE THAT! Super deal on a serpentine belt. Now I need routine maintenance on my Honda Odyssey Touring Limited Edition, my baby.... he comes in far and away the best price, and says hell do it himself! He knows how I am with my car, and with my wifes, ah, its plain Jane Toyota Corolla. He doesnt have to make me feel important or smart, or even like a friend doing me a special deal, but he does, and he does it in a way that makes me feel important, and I go to that Midas because I trust HIM! HE IS THE REASON I GO TO MIDAS, not the dealership, besides Jill at the honda service department was promoted downtown Salt Lake I guess. DENNIS IS GOOD, just not as sexy......

I needed my emissions done and my check engine light was on so Dennis fixed what he thought was the problem and unfortunately the light came back on so i drove my car back in and he replaced a different part that was the correct part for free. Honest and friendly.... Definitely earned my business.

One of the most wonderful experiences I have ever had with an automotive shop. My friends and I were on a roadtrip from Washington to the grand canyon when we broke down on the way back in Utah. With no push from ourselves and no promise of extra money or comisson Dennis and a few other technicians went out of their way to stay 3 hours past closing to make sure our car was operational and that we would have a safe journey back home. I cannot thank them enough for the amazing service and care they provided for my friends and I.

I am extremely disappointed with my service. The guy at the front desk was very unprofessional and Ryan drinks his own pee was written on my courtesy check paper. Speaking of the courtesy check, I understand that its free, but I at least expect them to check my tires. My tire pressure light was on before I came in and after I left- their records show that my tire pressure light wasnt even on. Im not so sure they even checked anything or just filled out the paper to make me feel good.

Its hard to find a mechanic you can trust. I think I found one. Dennis at Midas. And that will keep me coming back. Thank you, to Dennis and his crew.

Great experience! My car started running rough on my drive to work, and I was nervous about making it home and through the weekend for work. I’ve had my car for years and it’s 13 years old. I wasn’t even sure if it would be worth it to fix, but took it into Midas anyway, since it’s close by my house, the reviews were mostly positive, and they had long enough Saturday hours I could get there after work. Best decision ever! Dennis got me right in, showed me exactly what went wrong and what it would take to fix it. My car was up and running smoothly again within an hour for a great price! Will definitely bring my car in again!

When I was driving today, my bumper kinda pop out a bit, I was really helpless knowing nowhere to find help, then I googled, and found this store. I walked in and the enployee over there asked me whats up. I told him a bit about it. He came out and took a look. He helped me to fix it right away and a bit more of my car and wished me having a great day without asking me to pay for it. I am super grateful for what he did. I would totally come back again because of the help and service I got here. Totally recommend!

A little dirty and run down, but the mechanics are trustworthy, courteous, and thorough. I wouldnt hesitate to send my wife here alone.

88 5.0 just needed the timing set and the car came out running better then before the timing got messed up. Didnt over charge, knew what he was talking about, and pointed out some things that need to be looked into. Didnt try and sell me anything though. Ill be taking my wifes new car there if it needs anything but if you have an older car and dont trust anyone to work on it, bring it here.

This past Thanksgiving we went on a road trip from Colorado to Utah. Midway into our trip we couldn’t accelerate past 40 mph uphill, and our engine started rattling/jerking. When we got to Utah we decided to take our truck here because of the good reviews, but we honestly had a nightmare. Initially what we were saying over the phone made them think it was something with the throttle. They said they could fix it. Dennis was very friendly and kind, but what happened really took a toll on us.We have a 2012 Ford F-150 with Eco-Boost System. We brought it in, and 45 minutes later Dennis called us back and told us a coil just needs to be replaced. $200. Fine, that’s doable. He said everything should be done and ready within a couple of hours, and he would call to let us know when it’s ready.More than a couple of hours went by, and we still haven’t gotten a call back. We decided to stop by to see what’s going on, and Dennis tells us that he found something else wrong. Fuel injector. Almost $800. We say fine because we obviously had to make it back to Colorado. He could have at least called us (like he said he would). They said it would be ready the next day, Saturday, around 11AM.Next day comes around and it’s already 1PM... No call. We decided to call and THEN they say it won’t be ready until Sunday because they snapped a few o-rings while trying to put the new fuel injector in, but here’s the catch! They’re closed on Sundays. However, Dennis said he would go in that Sunday and give us a call when he gets it done. He said he understood that we needed to make it back home.Sunday comes and we are all packed and ready to go back to Colorado. The only thing that was standing in our way was that phone call from Dennis to let us know the truck is ready. You guessed it. No call. We regretted not asking for a mobile number. We had to let both my boss AND my husband’s boss know that we won’t be back in time for work.Finally, Monday... we called ASAP in the morning when they opened, and no answer. My husband called again maybe 2-3 hours after, and they said it should be ready by 1PM. We pick up the truck and are finally relieved... Until it starts doing the EXACT same thing it did on our way over to Utah! We decided we’d wait til we make it back to Colorado because we already made it too far and we couldn’t afford to lose another day of work.We made it home, and were just glad we made it safely.A few days pass by, and when we tried to start our truck it wouldn’t start and smelled like gas. We had to have our truck towed to a local auto shop here. They got things redone within a few hours. Our truck was back on the road and we haven’t had any issues since!With saying that comes a price tag of a whopping $2100 in addition to the $800 we spent at Midas. That makes the grand total just shy of $3000.The auto shop here in Colorado said that they could tell that someone else had recently tried to fix the SAME fuel injector they were working on and that there were still broken o-rings. They said that they could assume whoever tried to fix things did not know much about Eco-Boost systems. Not only that, they had to replace the coil which Dennis was originally talking about (which Dennis did not end up doing).In addition, things were suspicious and unprofessional when I called back to let them know things were redone by a different autoshop. I was greeted with, “Oh shoot... the truck with the Eco-Boost system from Colorado?” The tone they gave me was negative, made it seem like they had a lot of issues with our truck, and were anxious that we were calling back. Anyway... I was given a personal email address to contact them for my concerns. They have not sent me a dated & detailed copy of what they did to our truck upon request (because the receipt we got didn’t specify anything). Lastly, they said they had talked it over with their General Manager, but I’m not 100% if that’s true because their General Manager has not contacted me upon request. No compensation was given because they claim it wasn’t the same services.

They are terrible! We got a supposed oil change from them and two weeks later my car was completely empty of oil. After we left we had nothing but problems and my car was running terribly. At least put oil in my car. They didnt do anything and are not trust worthy at all. Waste of money. Will never go back to them!!

By far worst experience Ive ever had if I could do 0 stars I would! 3 weeks ago I get my brakes and rotars changed out. He told me oh no more then an hour and a half. I sat and waited for over 5 hours! Most unprofessional type of business Ive ever seen! The mechanics were very unprofessional. They moved as slow as they could. What takes 5 hours to do brakes and rotars? Oh, but wait they gave me a free oil change, so I decided what the hell it cant be too long for that oh no. The guy with the beard oh well have you out in 45 to an hour. They didnt even get my car in the bay for over 2 hours then about 30 min to change my oil. Then he comes in well youre ready to go? Im like uh wait you didnt even ask if I wanted convententional oil or synthetic? Hes like well youre Mustang gt doesnt need synthetic...... Im like uh thats what I want though. Hes so mad that he walks into the garage slams the door behind him and says oh now he wants synthetic! Im like are you kidding me right now? What a dick! So he changes it charges me 40 bucks cause i had that free oil change coupon but I guess it doesnt count for synthetic. Overall worst company to ever come to. Most unprofessional mechanics Ive ever seen. Yet my car is now finished but theyre all standing around talking before getting me outta here. This place is a freaking joke. No one I mean no one Id ever suggest come here! Ive never had an experience like this in my life! Not one but 2 horrifying experiences in a row? Not just a coincidence. Theyre just bad. Hire a new staff!

I had a problem with my 2001 Jeep Cherokee after another shop changed the fuel pump for me. I was having a check engine light and gas fumes in my jeep after I would fill it up. I repeatedly took it back to the other shop that did the maintenance and they didnt correct the problem. I took it to Dennis at Midas on Roy on April 4th and they not only found the problem, but I havent had an issues since. I was very pleased with Midas in Roy and the new manager Dennis. He and his technicians will go out of their way to help you as best as they can. I recommend them to anyone having car trouble, they will inspect the problem for you for free and give suggestions on how to fix it if you choose too. They do not force anything upon the customer, you can tell them if you want to have the work done or not. They have great customer service.

Dude lied about what was wrong. Wasted to charge me 1500 bux and would be a full day. Dealership said there was no such thing on my honda. Charged me 200 bucks, corrected the problem, out within the hour.
