Great little coffee house with an upscale feel attracting a college type of crowd. Created by the First Baptist Church located next door, it aims to please with all types of java. Ive never seen seen it crowded so therefore a great place to study and/or relax.

This is one of the best coffee shops I have ever been to in my life. The people are so friendly and make me feel extremely welcome every time I walk through the door. The manager knows me by name and makes me feel like such a valued customer. They for sure have the best drip coffee in town and what makes it even better is that it is sourced from Rwanda for a GREAT CAUSE!!! Make this place your first stop when you go to Ruston!!

Its lit yall. not really. but the coffee is great.the store is owned by some people who also own the Starbucks in town, but this place is better (and cheaper). this is my favorite joint in town.Ive never tried the pastries or anything, tho. anyway, each and every time a friend of mine comes to town and wants coffee, this is THE place I go to. I always get the blended iced zebra, and my friends ALWAYS like it.if you are in ruston looking for some decent coffee, then you should go elsewhere, because The Depot only makes good stuff.

I made it here after missing the chance to stop by a few times--their summer hours are more limited. I really liked the coffee and the atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant. I came early on a Saturday and there werent any other customers, which was too bad--I prefer a coffee shop that is more lively.

I stopped in here when I was in Ruston a few months ago visiting family. The Parish Press had been destroyed by the tornado, so I decided to try this place.The coffee was mediocre compared to actual coffeeshops that do nothing but coffee and roasting. The space is well taken care of and clean. The barista was very nice.The place is a church which I didnt know or I would have taken my business elsewhere. This place is probably filed under a religious exemption so they get out of taxes, which I find highly deceptive. For that reason alone I wont go back. Whoever owns it is a business man who is exploiting a loophole for financial gain, which isnt very Christian at all. Capitalism and Jesus dont mix.

The Depot has the best coffee that I have ever had in my life, and the prices are great too! Great atmosphere for studying or socializing. I highly recommend it!

Ive been going here for years and every time I go, I get the perfect cup, someone friendly serving, and just a peaceful vibe. Its a really good place to go and take a break for a bit.

The atmosphere is conducive to studying, but the actual coffee isnt great. This shop is associated with the church next to it, and that definitely influences the vibe.

Its okay. Mostly quieter than other coffee shops. However, when the barista starts chatting with, I assume, classmates, then it gets loud and unbearable to remain inside.

The only place in Lincoln Parish with a decent King Cake latte.The great thing about going here is that the baristas are so attentive, they will address any problem or concern you have before you walk out of the door. That doesnt happen many places.

Welcoming, wallet-friendly & trendy place to get coffee. Every time Ive been up to The Depot (which is quite a lot) Ive had opportunities to meet all kinds of people and make new friends. The atmosphere is perfect for all ages. The main crowd youll see is college students, since its walking distance from Techs campus; nonetheless, whether youre there to socialize, study, use the FREE WIFI or order something to-go, The Depot is the place to be. It has a large area in the back designated for studying or meetings, with many tables and chairs set up for anyone to use. In the front there is an area with more tables and plenty of electrical outlets, perfect for studying. Theres also an area with couches and comfy chairs if you just want to relax. You should check out their Facebook/Twitter or just stop by and check it out for yourself! You wont regret it!

This coffee shop is simply amazing... Just this morning I walked into the depot and was warmly welcomed with a smile from the barista behind the counter, as I scanned through the exotic flavor options I realized that everything sounded too good and I would never reach a decision. Thats when the charming barista notice my futile struggle and recommended I tried customer favorite white chocolate caramel blended iced coffee. I was no match for the young mans persuasive prowess. The dear boy took my cash and gave me a punch on my depot coffee rewards card, then away he went with such artisan technique! I stood in awe of his craft as he constructed the most tenderly made iced coffe I have ever gazed upon. As I took the cup the from him I felt almost convicted as if I were taking a sweet child from its beloved parents. Then I saw in his eyes a comforting look as if he knew that the coffee was destined for my hand. I then walked away from that coffee shop with a new outlook on life... I highly recommend this coffee shop to everyone in the Ruston area. Drink coffee, do good my friends
