A consistent pattern has developed with the store on El Camino. When I call the store the counter person says, will you please hold. I Hold for 15 minutes then hang up. I call back and am asked to hold again. after the fourth or fifth time, I say no and then the counter person deals with me. I went into the store personally and noticed the counter people doing the same thing with the phones and with the customers at the counter. It appears that the counter people are under staffed or their business model needs to be redeveloped. Lately, counter people are promising to research a matter and get back to me but they dont. I am now buying my parts from another company.
Good service, very helpful staff. I bought a hoist for a project but it turned out not to be the right one for the job. they refunded my money no questions asked. i returned the product in original condition of course. I would buy there and recommend it.
Cody is the guy to help with all parts and any questions you have. He helped me a lot with my first truck I build (2012 Ram) and now I did a 2020 Ram and he was there for me too. Gave me good advices and got me everything I need very fast. I go to 4wheel parts because Cody is there and very helpful.
I left 4 Wheel Parts extremely happy in all aspects. I was feeling very out my element but Blaze who helped me with the process of picking out what type of lift, tires, and wheels I was looking for made me feel very confident in my choices. Blaze took the time to listen to the idea I had in my head of what I was looking for and then gave me multiple option to look at and DID NOT rush me at all. Blaze placed the order for the parts that were needed before I even left the store and made me an appointment to get everything installed. THANK YOU BLAZE for your wonderful customer service. I dropped off my Jeep to CODY the following week and he went over everything that was going to be done thoroughly. I appreciated that I was asked if I was wanting to keep all of my original parts and placed them all In the back of my jeep since I didnt have anyone to help me take everything back home once I picked my jeep up. I took one look at my jeep and it was exactly how I wanted it to look below is a before and after. I will definitely be bring my Husbands Tundra here for a lift!
I drove about an hour up from Vacaville specifically to pick up a air compressor after confirming that the item was in stock and that they had a price matching ability. I have to bought the exact same compressor for my son back East 2 days earlier so I even had the receipt showing the exact price. Nobody was empowered at the store to do the price matching even though it was in the middle of the day on a weekday. I waited well over 45 minutes for this or that person who was empowered to return from lunch or a break or something. Ultimately I gave up.
Very helpful with what I needed. Turns out I need to do so fabrication of my own but they exhausted every avenue available and pointed me in the right direction. Greatly appreciated!!

I buy most my parts from this location for my Jeep Wrangler most parts are either in stock or next day available. Cody is the guy that helps me with building my Jeep right, its very helpful when the sales guy knows Jeeps and off-roading it makes it 100 times easier and more efficient. He is also a great advisor into building anything custom. Highly recommend this place those guys know off-roading.

Had a service done and happy with what they did just wish they had more one on one time with me I wanted a quote but it was getting close to closing time so he kinda just threw number out there.I wanted something on paper because I plan on getting more work done but you have to take the good with the bad I guess over all they perform the job at hand just wish there were more staff that had time to talk to me I would of had more stuff done.So do your own research know what you want when you go in there and you will be a happy camper and if they say they will call you when youre part comes in dont depend on that call.You better call and stay on top of it there so busy there not worried about calling you back.
Horrible customer service. Put on hold for over an hour. Would not recommend this place.I emailed them as stated by them below, still no response. Shows their true customer service. Also, people told me that you can not return the parts or exchange. Ones you bought it, its yours.
I have worked with this shop twice now for jobs that I am not equipped to tackle myself. They are definitely capable of high quality, attention to detail work. And if something does go wrong, they will work with you to make it right and get you squared away.
John helped me out today with finding me a good tire for my truck. He also was helpful with recommending a good deflator and repair kit.

This review is for the sellers false advertising. Im sure the vault itself is fine. Tuffy Security Console Vault part number 322-01. Since 4WP website moderated my review there, I will just post it here.There is a green check mark showing free shipping, which is accurate. There is also a green check mark indicating this purchase qualifies for a $100 mail in rebate from the manufacturer. Completely false. Using logic and reasoning, it appears both conditions apply to this purchase. When you click on the form, you have to spend at least $250 to even receive $25 rebate (meaning this purchase qualifies for ZERO without buying more stuff). You have to spend around $850 to qualify for the $100 rebate. I admit, the amount seemed excessive, but it is common for companies to have aggressive sales. Could have been an honest mistake. The seller should make it right by adding language to the ad indicating additional purchase is required to qualify for up to $100 rebate and see rebate form for details

Went in to buy Bilstein 5100 levelers snd rear shocks. Kid at counter said I cant order from store snd I needed to home, order online and have shipped to the store, then they would call me to schedule appointment for installation. Went to Truck Smart in Rocklin, ordered shocks, they called when shocks arrived, got me in next day.#1 sales rule; customer in store, sell them something before leave store.
Told this guy my problem, and he looked at me and said who told you that and proceeded to tell me what my problem was. He was a great help, thank you so much. If you see this, Im the guy with the red tundra, and Thanks again.
Service needs to improve for customers calling in for updates or ordering parts. Ive tried to get an update on a part that I ordered in June and each time I call they put me on hold for more than 30 minutes at a time only to find they dont have an update. Its probably best to go to the store vs trying to call. Needs some improvements.

I could post so many things from 2004 to 2020, from the small to the big. From screwing me out of the $300 warranty I paid for that they wouldnt honor, to just ordering something from the website to pick up at the store. EVERY single time Ive dealt with them ended in disaster. Look them up on Better Business Bureau....nice fat F.
The absolute WORST customer service of any 4x4 shop, retailer, etc out there. You have better luck with your deceased grandmother answering a phone call than these guys answering.
Waited full month for a parts to show up and they were never able to determine the delivery date. I had to request a refund which cost me time and money. I have never had success with this company. Many competitors too chose from. Pick someone else.

4 wheel parts don’t even deserve -1 star rating.., do your research before ordering anything from them very unprofessional and phone rings forever or days.I am guessing probably family owned business has thee worst customer service and they would lied that all parts comes in 7-10 days (no refund) to find out the parts takes much longer and I mean months... Every time I call this place they put me on hold. The last time I called and asked for blaze “the manager” they put me on hold for 20 mins then said he’s not available. This place is a joke. I left blaze 3 messages to call me because they installed the wrong shocks in my Jeep and he never called back. They only have two people working the registers and will leave you hanging forever. I think this place needs new management.

Ive purchased many products for my Jeep from these guys. Their shipping is extremely slow, no communication and if you send a message to their customer service, which Ive send several, you may or may not get a response. Additionally, I find their call center to be rude and lack professionalism in all aspects of customer service. Once you order, good luck finding your status. Last order went into the black hole...1 week later, I get an email stating 2 of the items are not in stock, so they held up the entire order and were planning to ship everything a month after ordering. I tried checking the status of the 2 items not backordered and was received with a rather rude call center professional when I decided to cancel my entire order due to my frustration in dealing with 4WP.Additionally, I bought a few expensive items just 2 days before Memorial Day Pay the Tax sale. I messaged Customer Service to see if they would honor the sale and reimburse me the tax. Seems like a reasonable request. NO RESPONSE AT ALL. I submitted 2 more email requests for status on my inquiry...NO RESPONSE. I finally had to call in and waiting over 20 minutes on hold, then finally was reimbursed the tax from the Memorial Day sale almost 2 weeks later.I have 2 other Jeeps and I will NEVER BUY anything from this Distributor again. BEWARE.
Online and in store service very good...However vehicle service and warranty less than desirable. Allignment after replacement parts not correct steering wheel crooked and tires started to wear unevenly and also installed part failed in less than 4 months. Only the part is under warranty not the service. And so called 3y alignment warranty as told is total BS...save your money on services and go somewhere else. I got allignment done somewhere else and it was done perfect. And the tire that was out of alignment was not the side that needed the replacement.
WORST DECISION I MADE WAS TO TAKE MY TRUCK HERE FOR A LIFT INSTALLATION! I was very excited to take my truck here since I thought they would do a good job, however, once I had my truck back, I noticed something was not right. I called four wheels for them to inspect the lift they had installed on my truck, but they wanted to charge me to inspect their own work so I ended up taking it somewhere else and I came to find out that the employees from four wheels did not torque multiple bolts along with nuts and my upper control arm wasn’t torqued at all, which could have put my life at risk!
The number and variety off off-road parts and accessories available through 4WP is astounding. The staff at this location was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. After driving over 90 minutes in heavy traffic to reach their location before closing time, I was running late and asked if theyd mind sticking around to let me pick up a large roof-rack Id already paid for. Not only did they keep the loading bay doors open for me, but they also helped me load it onto my vehicle. 4WP will be my go-to off-road supplier going forward.

Over the top customer service and professionalism. My lady and I went in to get our 2018 F150 dialed in and Karim took care of us through and through. He listened to what we were looking for and overdelivered. Not only did he provide me with the best price in town but was also knowledgeable about the product. You can tell he and everyone else takes pride in their job. Every encounter with each employee was a pleasant one. Our truck not only looks amazing, but drives perfect. You can tell they only hire the best, from Karim, the store manager Blaze, and the techs at this store. I don’t write reviews and I am picky! Terrible customer service, called 3 times only to be asked to hold for over 15 M which i then hung up - finally drove 45 min to the store which was empty with two guys standing behind the counter. I was walking around for 7 min with no acknowledgement so i approached the counter and asked if they carry a part and was told no you would have to order, told that would been nice to know over the phone before making the drive here but got dumped on hold - he just stared at me and said nothing. no im sorry or can i help you get it ordered. pretty sad - time for a new store to open up and take some business
Went in to find a few things . When it was my turn at counter . The employee Joe asked what i needed i told him and mentioned an online price i had seen in a certain brand . He told me not to waste his time and that brand was cheapest. when he did look it up on his book it was a little more expensive but he was very short with me and did not ask me any questions on height or material i wanted . I could clearly see he could care less about customer service or helping me with any parts . Which sucked because i have multiple jeeps and wanted items for both but after bekng told not to waste his time . I will be getting my rock sliders, locker, rear bumper and brake lines for my wrangler and my push bar winch and rims for my jeep commander some place else

I got a portable air compressor there for $150.00 plus. It was suppose to be a real good one that had a fast inflation and hooked up to car battery. But I didnt like it..it didnt have a cigarette charger port for my suburban... so I took it back a week later. I had paid cash and was expecting my cash back like any other retail store. NOPE. not this place. They mail you a check...guy said it would come in 3 days... well its been a week.... no check in the mail yet. I wouldnt deal with these guys, and the mark up on products is ridiculous!
These guys provide great service! I contacted them about a week before Christmas looking for a leveling kit for my hubbys truck. They ordered it and had it within 2 days, and when I returned it after my hubby decided against lifting his truck (decision had nothing to do with product or this store), they processed the refund without question and were really great about it. When he figures out what he wants to do with his truck we will be going back here!
Nice group of guys to work with butmy recent experience didnt go so well. I ordered a new bumper and back up camera. Was told it would take a few hours to install it all so I dropped it off at 9 a.m. at 4:30 p.m. I got a call to let me know that there was a special wire harness that was needed to make the rear camera work and it was going to cost more and I would have to bring it by again for them to complete the install. I got there at 6p.m and the bumper was still not done.waited till 6:45 and left. Got home and the lights they installed dont work so I have to go back again....not cool.
This place is great. Knowledged staff, helpful and they get the job done right - the first time. Sam (? one of the bearded dudes) helped me get what I needed done fast and painless and he really knew his stuff.

Did a terrible job of installing my expensive roll/light bar. My mistake for letting someone else work on one of my rides, but as it was a 2019 Ram figured I would take it to professionals. BIG MISTAKE, look horrible, fit is off, looks like a child did the install. They may know how to lift a ride but no way do they have a clue about installing extras. One star because I have bought from them for years with no issues. NEVER EVER will I shop there again and do not let them do a horrific job like they did on my truck.Emailed their corporate office and no response. Lesson learned, do not trust their installers of their word....
Ordered some wheels and tires completely rude salesmen I spoke to over the phone ordered anyways as it took so long to get service, Offered to mount the tires for 160 I replied no thanks, said would arrive 3-4 days I was fine with that, I called back the next day (16 hours later) to cancel the order as I got a way better deal online shipped to my house and guy says looks like everything is here which was oddly fast, ended up charging me a restocking fee of 158 dollars which I have a feeling those everything was in stock, the employee literally said maybe you will think about that the next time you click buttons and buy something your not sure of this guy doest even know I ordered them over the phone, It states free shipping over 75$ on there webpage yet they only would ship it to their store and said would be over 400$ more to ship to my door that the ups guys dont like to ship heavier packages, Combined with horrible customer service, awful waiting times over the phone and shady ways to trap customers into paying their restocking fee I do not recommend this place at all, I called the online store placed a order for a different set of tires with free shipping to my door, yes free shipping over 75 as states online funny thing it was cheaper through the call center too with free shipping from what they told me there, looks like it hasnt been the first time they had complaints coming from customers regarding the Sacramento store it seems, The whole staff needs to be retrained

One of the only 4x4 parts shops that exists in the flesh these days. They get quite a bad wrap as they are understaffed and overwhelmed with customers. Expect to have some patience as they run around answering phone calls left and right. The interior of the store is extremely clean and well organized.
We went into the store as a first-time customer. I couldnt believe how rude the staff is! We figured that they were busy, so we started looking around. Another woman came in after us, and got help right away. I didnt want to say anything, because I didnt want to be rude. We were trying to buy four rims, but they were busy telling us how we have the wrong tires for driving on the street. We explain to them, that were okay with the tires we just wanted rims. Although we were looking at a bunch of rims in the store, they werent willing to help us because we wouldnt buy different tires. The tires we have are brand new! People should be able to customize their vehicles the way they want. Point Blank.

Im tricking out a 3rd Generation 4Runner but there is not a lot of off-the-shelf stuff available. The guys at 4WP were super helpful and friendly with no Im so much cooler than you because I drive a xxxx arrogance. Highly recommend but the line can get slow.
I had my Jeep lifted by another 4 Wheel Parts store in Denver, Co. I now own my own auto repair shop here in Sacramento. If I have a lifted 4*4 come in, I take it to these guys! My shop cant handle the lifted/over-sized vehicle... too heavy. They know their stuff and treat you right. If they make a recommendation, chances are, youre gonna need it (like modifying the drive-line for my Jeep when I lifted it). If I didnt take their advise, well, my tow bill probably would have been more than the repair (over $1000).
If I can give out negative stars I would. There is a sales associate at this store who every rude and has no customer service skills and has no business being at this shop. He pretty much doesnt understand that I will be waiting in the lobby. I had never ever had this type of problems here before. Where is Joe Ondricek?

Best place in Sacramento for all your 4x4 parts and great customer service. I bought a Jeep lift kit through them and had them install it. I couldnt be happier, my jeep drives and feels even better than stock. A+ I will always do business with them from now on.

Came in a week ago and worked with Blaze the store manager. He seemed helpful and ended up selling me new front upper an lower control arms, new back bumper with tire carrier, a jack mount for that bumper, new LED third rear light and install for everything. We came back a week later for our appointment to find out he forgot to schedule us... the sales person there managed to fit us in anyways. When this service guy was going over the work to be done he pointed out the manager Blaze didnt even charge us to install the bumper. I might have noticed it while looking over the paperwork after we made the purchase but the labor line just indicates labor with no specifics. I spent $2600+ to get the work done then refunded everything. I was just getting started with my Jeep Rubicon and have another truck that I wanted to lift as well, now I will be taking my business elsewhere.
Do not do business with this store if you value your time. I dont recommend this place to anyone. It took them 19 hours to do what the manager Blaze said they can with their eyes closed. Id give them zero stars but Google wont let me.

There always in a bad mood.
They had a lot of stuff there, good stuff I wanted everything but I just bought a hard tonneau cover. At least they tell you the price in their catalog and online unlike the other places of the same type.

I ordered a part Thursday and told that it would be there the next day. Driving to the store on Friday I get a call about a block a way from the store. They tell me the part didnt make it on todays order but it will be there Monday. I go in on Monday and the first place they look for my part is the retail shelf!! The customer before me was complaining about his parts not being there. Lo and behold after watching them walk around the store they cant find my part but promise that it will be there on Tuesday. I go back in on Tuesday there are two customers in front of me. The first customer was complaining about getting the wrong part. The second customer was complaining about his winch that did not come in and he lives an hour and a half away. Im up next and again the first place they look for my part is the retail shelf!! They tell me that the wrong parts showed up and they had to reorder . I suspect that my parts came in several times and were sold each time after being put on the retail shelf. Not going back.

Their national sales people are awesome however the local shop is slow as molasses in winter. Two weeks to mount and balance four tires? Whoevers running the shop must be very understaffed. I shouldve just gone to Americas Tire.
I purchased some rims for my wife, but when they came, 2 of them were banged up. Joe gladly helped me and reordered the 2 wheels. Even though I bought them more than 30 days ago, that part wasnt made a big deal of. Much better customer service than 3 months ago!

After 5 phone calls with over 20 minutes of hold time, 3 promised call backs that never happened, and 2 attempts at other stores, I decided that if this is how they treat potential cuatomers, then why would I bring a $70, 000 truck to them to work on.I contacted California Concepts and had an appointment made in 10 minutes. I heard that 4WP is the Maaco of truck mechanics, but their sales is pretty poor as well.
First time going to this shop hoping to get expert advice on some wheels that ive been looking for a long time for my truck.. got there... only saw 2 sale guys working with other customers... so i figure i get the chance to look around at the wheels... i got to around looking at them... as i approached the front counter.. the sale guy didnt even acknowledge me at all.. just looked up.. and looked back down to whatever he was doing.. myself as a customer goes WTF in my head to myself he didnt even bother to ask me if i had any questions.. i had to approach him.. and all he did was told me the price of the wheels.. and that was it... and went back to doing what he was doing.. so i got to say.. theyre not customer friendly.. well even if they are.. probably to the people they know.... as for a first time customer checking out their store... probably doesnt mean anything.. after that.. the sale guy just threw me a pro comp catalog and told me to look through it.. so i just left the damn store... just lost a customer who was going to spend big buck on lifting my truck...

They have some stuff but often need to wait for stuff to get delivered from another store. Prices wrong on shelf regularly but they will not honor. have a really sleazy way of adding extended warranties to invoice then tell you about it instead of offering it first and asking if you want to add it.
