On my way home on Friday evening, my car radio started to turn off and on and eventually my car just stopped running. They are the only auto repair shop open late till 8pm. After speaking to Pam, their lovely office staff, my car is towed at Arden Village Service. They close at 8pm but they waited until my car got there and completed paperworks so it can be checked the next day. My suspicion was correct that the alternator is not working after speaking to Adam, their service advisor. He gave me a very reasonable estimate for the repair. My car is fixed by noon the next day. They also checked my car battery and fully charged it.Very pleased with their excellent customer service, honesty, and prompt service. I will start bringing my car at this place for regular maintenance moving forward. Thank you so much for fixing my car!!

I am very impressed with the customer service (Ted was so nice) and the speed with which my car was fixed, and the cost was very fair. On an August morning, my car wouldnt start and I called Arden Village Service. When I spoke with Ted, he said it would probably take until the following day for them know what was wrong and fix it. He phoned me that afternoon and told me I needed a new starter. Late afternoon he called and said I could come pick up the car. I have had no problems since.

Finally found a shop I could trust. Prices a very fair, I called around to several places. They even fixed something under their warranty when I brought my truck back for a new issue. This shop is very busy so book early and be patient.Also, maintaining vehicles is not cheap but it beats the cost of new wit a big car payment..

First time here at Arden Village Service to get my axle replaced and I had nothing but a great experience. My WRX STI was heavily modified, so theyre definitely mod-friendly. Even if your car is lowered, they got you covered as long as it can clear their lift! Their pricing is great and they even install customer supplied parts. This has become my Local Service Stations. I get my gas here most of the time. Its a nice family run business. ...since 1968, I think they said. This station reminds me of my Uncles gas station, that I worked at through my high school years........ pumping gas after school and evenings.I went in to replace one of my headlamps. The kid came out and did it for me in about 10 minutes. It cost me $20 approximately for each bulb unit; and $12 service charge to put it in.It was nice, fast and easy. 🤙

This place is great. They saved me this morning. I had a check engine light on and I must have stopped at 6 different shops over a 3.5 hour period, in the Carmichael and surrounding areas and none of them had time to help me or were not qualified to help me, or ignored my presence but David and Especially Ken made time to help me. Thank You David and Especially Ken! Ken took the time to physically check my vehicle out to rule out the easy explanations for my check engine light, just to come to find out that the shop that did my oil change, on the previous day, forgot to reattach the air hose, which had triggered the check engine light to go on. Ken reattached the hose and had my engine light cleared and didnt charge me for any of it and got me on my way within no more than maybe 5 to 10 minutes. This place is awesome and thanks to them I was able to get myself to work finally with confidence. Arden Village Service didnt have to take their time out of their busy schedule to fit my Toyota Highlander in like they did and they didnt have to correct the issue at No Charge but they did and I am sincerely grateful. I was hoping for a good result after 3.5 hours of looking for help and they were there to help and they did help and it was painless and stress free. I highly recommend Arden Village Service as the place to go if you have issues with your vehicle. Thank You Very Much.

I have been going to Arden Village Service for a wide variety of issues with my aging Honda for many years. I get excellent, highly competent, and friendly service there every single time. They are honest, they have truly earned my trust, and I appreciate the extra effort they put in to solve difficult problems such as the intermittent starting problem I had just recently. What an awesome experience I had! I had a whole slew of problems and they resolved every single one of them! My truck has a unique rear axle that very few mechanics have experience with and they were able to diagnose it and get it back working along with fully rebuilding the AC system, parking brake system and resolving a few sensor issues. They were very communicative during the whole process, kept me informed when they found additional issues and asked if I wanted to fix them. The price was fair and overall I would recommend them!

Made an appointment for an oil change got a call back a few hours later to confirm, I mean how cool is that! I arrived a little early and was able to get checked in. The place has a nice old school feel and you can tell all the Ladies and Gents really enjoy their job and knows their stuff. I have worked service area of three car dealerships and they are quick, to the point and really friendly. I seen them on phone with customers and they are super patient and knowledgeable. Weve been taking our cars here for about 4 years. Always set up an appointment on Saturday because we work and are busy during the week. No matter what we get done from minor to major it always gets done fast with no issues so we are up and running for the next work week. Also some of the nicest people youll ever meet.

Took 2013 FORD SUV in because of break issues. Diagnosed a break hydraulic cylinder failure. Easily a $500+ Job. However the tech thought with the year and mileage it still might be under warranty. Ted checked with Ford service manager and sure enough, it was completely covered. Obviously I will take it Ford to fix, but Kudos and high praise to these guys...looking out for what was best for me... appreciate the honesty and integrity.

I dropped by on Thursday morning (without an appointment) because of a battery emergency. Arden Village fit me in their busy schedule and did their diagnostic test to determine whether it was a battery vs. alternator issue. It was my battery and so they replaced it and I was back on the road in no time. I have been a loyal customer for over two years and it is because Arden Village provides quality & timely service, reasonable prices, excellent customer service but what sets them apart from other auto service shops/dealerships is their integrity. You can always count on Arden Village to look out for the best interest of the customer !!

The place is really nice, theyre very friendly, their labor prices were surprisingly high, given that I received a bunch of scratches and scruff marks on my front right part of mybumper after my last visit, but I suppose a nicer car would receive better treatment, I do recommend this place, given how honest they were to me, I thought I needed two lights replaced, but they knew only one needed to be replaced, and thats all they did.

Im always confident that i will receive great service and a fair price. their service personnel are courteous and take the time to explain any additional service needed. I highly recommend them!

We have had a recurring problem with the windshield washer on my wife’s Honda Odyssey. The dealer charged us to fix it, but didn’t fix the whole problem. We took the car to Arden Village. They charged us two thirds as much and fixed it. However, the problem reappeared a month or so later. We took it back to Arden Village. They got to the bottom of the problem this time, fixed it again, and did not charge us at all because they had worked on the problem before and it was not fixed for good. This is how honest, customer-oriented businesses should operate. Arden Village has our business forever.

This is the only place you should take your vehicles. Best price on oil changes, no charge to diagnose your vehicles, fee shuttle, full service Wednesday’s where they check your oil, tire pressure, clean your windows, AND they are extremely honest! If you don’t need brakes, they won’t lie to you and say you need them just to make a profit! All 4 of my vehicles go to Scotts Corner exclusively!

AVS was very accommodating on squeezing into their schedule a pre-purchase evaluation of a used car for my college student daughter-twice!!! The first car, they didn’t get far because we suspected water damage. They confirmed the car had been underwater and we shouldn’t purchase it and didn’t charge her. Two days later they inspected another car for her, found two minor items and pointed out that the battery was 5 years old. Overall they thought the car was in good shape. She bought it and the dealer put a brand new battery in it. It is so nice to have a mechanic we can trust. Thank you for your excellent service.

Outstanding service repair center! After literally months of other shops trying to diagnose and repair my “check engine light” issue, causing the car to stall out and run poorly, the professionals at this shop quickly determined what the problem was and my car was up and running beautifully! The repair cost was LESS than $125, nothing near the other repair shop repair quotes were, one of which was $1800! The repair tech’s at Arden Village know what there doing and do it right...very honest and fair.

Justin Frei and his mechanics made my Jeep safe to drive again. I had gotten into a fender-bender and my hood wasnt latching properly. I cant thank them enough. I definitely recommend both auto shops to anyone who wants to be treated like a friend of the family! I wont be going anywhere else from now on.

I LOVE Arden Village Service - they are the best service station I have ever used. I go out of my way to purchase gasoline there as well, as I want to support them in whatever way I can.

Needed to get my 1978 motorhome smoged. It was owned by, yes, a little old lady, original first owner. It had 45,000 miles on it and only 200 miles since the last smog testing. It ran great and I was confident it would pass. But the office manager told me he would have to turn down the job of smoging my motorhome, it was to old and finding parts if needed would be difficult. What? You wont smog my motorhome? Thank God the guy that would actually do the work walked in and said he would do it the next day. Yes it passed. But what I dont understand is if a vehicle needs a smog and they are a smog station....well, dont tell me you dont want to do it. What ticks me off is the government that requires me to get a smog when the biggest gross polluters that puts more methane in the atmosphere is the cattle industry. Those farting bovine put more greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere than all the autos, why dont they have to get certified. Fact is, to stop global warming all that would be needed is to cork up the cattle AND the politicians. An example of truth stranger than fiction...hahahaha

Im not an expert and I know very little about cars. I searched online about 6 months ago for a good place to go for general maintenance (oil changes ect) and bigger fixes since my struts needed to be replaced on my older 1999 toyota camry. This is hands down the best car place. Everyone is knowledgeable and courteous and I know Im always getting a fair price for the work. Someone always calls me to let me know if something extra needs to be done when they have my car in, and they only ever suggest fixing things that NEED to be fixed.Ive been to this wonderful establishment a couple times in the last 6 months or so, and I will continue to bring my car here for as long as I live in Sacramento.My most recent experience was Saturday April 12, 2014. I took my car in for an oil change, to check the brakes, and look at some other possibly minor things with my car. Adam took my car in and was wonderful and called me while my car was in and explained how my car was running so that someone like me, who is pretty dense when it comes to cars, can understand easily. A huge bonus for this place is that their employees will drive you back home and pick you up if you live within a mile or two from the shop (if Im remembering correctly on the distance). I believe this last time the mechanic who drove me home and picked me up was named Alex Bess (hopefully my horrible memory for names is actually working) and he was incredibly courteous and a safe reliable driver. I felt like a valued customer and really appreciated the kind manner that everyone works under.I wouldnt trust my lovely car, which lives up to the reliable name I christened it because of their work (Bessie), with any other establishment. They keep my car running wonderfully and in tip top shape.

2nd time at AVS and impressed so far. My taillights werent working after Id replaced the bulbs. Like most shops (Id think), the quote was for an hour of diagnosis ($110). I asked if they found the problem very fast, would they still charge the full hour. She said yes and I agreed. When the problem ended up being quick/cheap, I was very happy that they charged the commensurate rate. Also, I just found out that a friend/coworker has been going here for 30-years!

I am a tech and work on cars all day, ive never seen such a honest and convenient shop. They up hold the same clean, safe and fair business tactics.
