Do not go here. This appears to be a scam. I had an oil change and front brake pads replaced. Only 60 days later I come to find the hard way that my filter is barely hanging on and there is no oil in the car. And based on many recent negative reviews online this clearly is a location to stay clear of. Dont risk it. Thats not even including poor wait time estimates and disrespectful tones to customers. So many better options with one simple search.

Fast service., Recommend that you utilize the website and make an appointment. Very cheap oil change if you are using traditional oil. Did feel like quote for larger repairs was a bit high but as are most repair shops.

Horrible service, said my brakes would be done in 2 hours and 5 hours later they still didnt pull my car in so I just took it home incomplete.

I have been coming here for 15 years. When they tell you about a hour and you say ok Ill wait. Over 2 hours go by they take in at least 3 other cars that came in after you did. And no they did not all have appointments. I am now going to get my keys and go elsewhere. This is the worst service i have ever had.

So in March of 2021 I went to this Brake Masters to fix my right front brake as it was dragging and had worn uneven. Besides a cv axle needing repair. they turned the rotor and put on new pads. They rebuilt the caliper with new pins and I was out the door. Early August 2021 I start noticing my right front brakes were dragging and the dreaded metal to metal sound started happening again. The car had 111,000 miles on it and it now has 127000 miles on it. The warranty was for 12000 miles. Now my car is in another shop that is costing me 650 dollars to repair. Brake masters uses junk pads and they failed to lubricate the caliper or diagnose the issue with my car. If you are thinking about this place. Dont do it.

They were nice. I had an appointment for 8 am. I was there on time. After waiting for 4 plus hours I called to get the estimate. But it still wasnt done. Another 30 minutes later they called 1300 was the estimate. I said no. And I will be down to get my truck. The manager said the person to put it together is out to lunch for an hour. I guess its the only person to do to. I gave them 2 hours and I had to still wait a little bit.

I appreciate the staff and the work they do. I have been going to this Break Masters (on Auburn Blvd) since the early 1990s for more than breaks. They also take care of my cars usual maintenance.

THEY DO NOT WARRANTY THEIR WORK!! My experience with this location was HORRIBLE !!! I had squeaky brakes and needed an oil change. I took my car in for the service and the next morning, backing out the driveway, my brakes squeeled LOUDLY. I called them, and they told me to bring it back. Like most people I have students at home, and work so this was really inconvenient but I went back. They said a component was not lubricated and apologized. It was important because I was driving the family out of town the next day. While on the freeway after an hour my brakes started screeching and grinding non stop. I thought my wheels would catch fire🔥. When I got back in town I WAS LIVID!! MY KIDS AND WIFE WERE IN THAT CAR AND THE MOST IMPORTANT COMPONENT SOUNDED LIKE A DEATH TRAP... I TOOK THE CAR BACK A THIRD TIME, ASKED FOR MY MONEY BACK AND THEY. SAID. we cant but we can submit a form I NEVER GOT MY CHECK AND TIMOTHY FROM CORPORATE CALLED ME AND SAID WE DONT GIVE RETURNS PERIOD...

Gave a star because the guy, Mike, at front counter was very nice but otherwise I wouldnt give any stars. Had to go in twice for brakes and rotors and still had issues with squealing brakes. I ended up calling Citrus Heights location to fix what this location said they did but didnt. A lot of work was skipped over. I took my vehicle into the other location 5 days after this place resurfaced rotors and put in new pads and they didnt catch one rotor was defective and had a hole, was told the rotor upfront wasnt even resurfaced. This location doesnt have an alignment machine, which I needed... so I wzill never go to this location again and I will go to Citrus heights location since they found and fixed the issue and had great customer while doing it. When I called the manager S. sounded like he didnt believe me when I explained the issue.

Trust is BIG when it comes to auto repair and these guys have definitely earned mine. I really appreciated them taking the time to actually take me in the mechanics area and show me visually the areas of repair needed, so I could make decisions of what to do now or later etc. Their estimates were accurate and they did a great job.

Took my car in for a brake job that should take no more then 2 hours had an appointment for 9:30 am and did not leave until almost 4 pm. They were so so disrespectful to me and my wife after finding out we had our own parts. Pushed us to the back burner because they couldnt sell us parts we did not need. On top of it all they did not do the job right had to take the car back in first thing Monday morning and spend another 2.5 hours for them to not fix the problem right. The brakes are still make noise that is not right. Have tried calling brake Masters corporate office to file a complaint and the gentleman Timothy who says he will call you back within 1 business day has not returned any of my calls. Next move is to call and file a complaint with the BAR. Scott the manager is so disrespectful and dishonest to customers. Do not use this shop. Save your time and money.

My first visit to Brake Masters located @5810 Auburn Blvd. Sacramento CA was on 1-14-2019 for an oil change . I had a coupon that I received in the mail. I was very satisfied with the customer service at the front desk and the efficiency of the time it took to complete the service. The technician showed me why the cabin filter needed to be replaced & I appreciated that.I returned on 7-23-2019 for another oil change. Justin is the service Mgr. and greeted me at the front desk. He was professional & polite. I had called prior to coming in so I didnt have to wait behind other customers. Again, I was pleased with the level of service & Justin later pointed out why I need a brake fluid flush. The technician was competent & it was a refreshing change from the sell, sell, sell by instilling fear attitude that I quickly got tired of from the Honda dealership. Quick, efficient, and professional brake work. Just needed the replacement of my front brake rotors and pads. The work was done within the hour. I was back on the road again and felt secure in knowing I had good brakes.

I went here for the first time last week for a oil change. I was happy with the service and returned to have rotors installed on my Tacoma yesterday. The guy at the service counter (Kenny) was very informative. He clearly explained various mechanical issues, made sure I understood my options, and gave me reasonable quotes for services. Front guy has very bad attitude and is not professional he gave my keys back in disgust after I was denied a simple oil change after waiting for 2 hrs.Would not recommend.

I recently had an oil change and had my brake pads and rotors replaced. I drove to Tahoe over the wk end, and smoke was coming out of my hood. Come to find out, one of the workers at this facility had left an oil rag under my hood, and it had heated up by the engine; which caused a fire. Luckily I pulled into a parking lot, which was next to a fire station and two firefighters helped put it out. No, damage was done to my truck, but I still let the garage know. I expected a refund, but all they offered me is Free oil change. I do not recommend this place at all, they worked on my truck for 6 hrs, how can you forget to remove a rag?? Very unprofessional. Thank goodness, the incident didnt get worse, but it could have led to damages to my truck and we couldve gotten hurt. Im also disappointed because this was my first time taking in my truck for an oil change since I bought it. AVOID this facility, youre better off going somewhere else for more reasonable prices, and better workers who dont slack off.I also think they need new managers. Especially the district manager.

First and Last visit, I called for a quote over the phone a few days ago, they quoted me about $400 for both brakes and rotors all 4 wheels.I made at appointment.After arriving on time for my appointment, I waited 1hr and 15minutes for my car to be moved into their garage. (It seems as if my appointment meant nothing to them)After the brake check, they quoted me $825.It’s a good thing YouTube is around so we can check how to do it ourselves, the parts on RockAuto come out to $200 for everything.

Terrible. Had to bring vehicle back 3 different times for the same issue. Communication is extremely poor between employees. There are many better places to get your brakes serviced.

They did my brakes well stopping good now. If you know about cars it’s a decent place, don’t let them sell you on the steering wheel and brake fluid flushes. both those fluids should last the life of your car only change them if there is an immediate issue that’s what I have read and learned through experience

Called them to ask about their rate. When I denied their offer for free inspection. They just hung up on me.

I have used brake masters for the last 3 years. Every single time they have been friendly and accommodating. Recently I was trying to find a car to buy. Each time I called to ask questions they took the time to answer them. When I showed up last second with the car to get it inspected they made a point to get it in the air and check it out for me even though they were busy. They never say I need something that I really don’t. Also they give fair pricing for certain expensive work. Atleast 300$ less than other shops. I strongly recommend them.Alicia

I took my expedition in for an oil change. I had a coupon for $24.95. I go to pick it up and the bill came to be $45. I asked how is it this much and they tell me because they had to use an extra quart. So a quart of oil costs $20 now?! I dont think so. Then I get home to check my oil after running errands and theres a new filter but no damn oil in my truck. I put 5qrts of oil into my truck. And if they put oil in it then it would have been overflowing. I am not happy about my experience here at this place one bit.

He is very trustworthy and knowledgable, he makes sure your car is taken care of and is thorough with everything the shop does. After regular maintenance was completed at the dealership, I decided to take my 2013 Toyota Highlander to Brake Masters. I had my rear pads replaced & rotars resurfaced for 1/3 the price of what dealership quoted me at! The staff was upfront about pricing & options. They were courteous and made me feel like I was important and not just $$$ to them! The service was good and Inplan to take my other (2) vehicles for service @ Brake Masters on Auburn Blvd! Strongly recommend!

Brought car in for Brake inspection. We agreed on Front and back brakes and back rotors. We picked up car and they only did back brakes and rotors. Not what he said over the phone and not what we agreed too. Costed us $333.61 for back brakes and rotors. We are returning customers but will not be anymore. They used to be a 4.5 stars and now 3.5 i see why. Should of went to River City Brakes or Duncans Automotive. Very unhappy customers.

After receiving my oil change my oil plug was stripped. I took it back to brake masters after receiving attitude from front desk, I was pleasantly surprised when the mechanic was so helpful. He told me that in fact it had been stripped. He fixed it and gave me a oil change free of charge. Thank you for making things right.

I take my truck to this chit place to do the next oil and filter change, transmission flush, power steering flush, coolant flush, and change the brake fluid. My truck it isnt new but is my work truck and feed me so they did honesty I dont know but when I got my truck and check in my house oil all over the engine plus a lot amount of coolant every where they burn my head lights in a few words the worst experience whit this place I no recommend this place to any one they dont know what they are doing be ware right now I dont know if they do the job or just pretend they do the job

1st time coming to this shop today & Ill definitely come back because the store manager Owen made sure my car got taken care of for a price that no one could compare Im sure. Alot of auto repair companies will see a lady & try to play the up sale she doesnt know about cars or parts price games & he didnt do that @ all!!! He was straightforward with what needed to be done & really nice about it & his techs got it done in no time & were really nice too. Another lady I spoke to outside said she wont take her car anywhere else since coming to them, so I would highly recommend others to try this shop out themselves.

Worst Brake Masters ever. Took my car in a couple months back to get a squeal coming from the back tires checked out. was told the brakes where fine, and they were not sure where the noise was coming from and to get the transmission checked out. the car was in and out the shop for differnt reason. guess what needed brakes. some brake masters. never going there again.

These guys are awesome! I highly recommend them. I was having an issue with my clutch and called to make an appointment with them because I had gone to them for a minor repair and oil change the month before. Mike got me right in and called me with the prognosis while I was at work. Unfortunately my clutch needed to be replaced along with my slave cylinder. Because it took me about a week to come up with the money to fix it, they let me store my car with them until i could get it fixed. The day I came in to have them do the work they got right to it and even called around to get me a better price on the parts. They are honest and friendly, very accommodating and professional.

They were polite n honest of what is needed for my daughters vehicle.

We have been taking our cars here for more than 10 years. There has been some turnover but 90% of the guys really know what they are doing. If they dont know they usually dont charge and have comped a lot because we are regulars. They remember us and our cars. It gets really busy so get here early or make an appointment. Its hard to find a mechanic that you dont feel is trying to rip you off and we never feel that way here.

Brought in my own oil and filter, got a full service oil change. They charged me full price. They then diagnosed my car saying i needed a bunch of work done valuing at almost 2 grand. So i took my car to another mechanic for the work and found out not only did they not top off any fluids the entire diagnosis was false and unnecessary. They didnt give me the full service i paid for and they tried to swindle me out of 2 grand.

I came in for a oil change and the guy in the front said it would be about an hour and a half before even bringing it in. He said it in a very rude way and seemed like he didnt even care about bringing it in. I think he was lying, cus he didnt want to bring in the car. There was only one person in the lobby and they were only working on 2 cars. I came to the brake masters in citrus heights instead. They told me it would be a 50 minute wait. They were working on more cars but arent lazy like the one on Auburn blvd.

Very friendly people, when i didnt understand what they were telling me what was wrong the invited to come down to the shop and they would show me what was wrong. As soon as they showed me i understood and felt like an idiot. I would recommend this shop to anyone needing brake work.

My wife took our car to this place and for one it took an hour to do a brake inspection, and it took over 5 1/2 hours to install brake pads. Short of the story is that I had my transmission flushed and a free AC check. The AC has not worked since. It worked fine when I drove it to Brake Masters, testing out to spec blowing 42 degrees at the vent.Then they diagnosed it as a bad compressor.Since then they re-diagnosed it as the freon slowly vacated after the Free Check and that my compressor is okay.The District Area Manager has taken appropriate actions to resolve this situation and get my truck back on the road.Mistake and other issues happen and in this case Brake Masters is doing the right thing.

I can pay these guys the best compliment you can give any mechanic. Theyre honest. They will tell you whats wrong and fix it at a fair price.We discovered Brakemasters getting brakes done, and experienced great service. Soon we started doing oil changes there. Our normal mechanic, Richard Seza, disappeared and we found that Brakemasters is a full service shop.My dad was quoted an astronomical cost for needed repairs. I suggested this location of Brakemasters and they charged him less than half of what he was quoted elsewhere.Recently I needed repairs on my older car and they came in under their quote for quality work. Theres a reason this Brakemasters is busy. They do great, honest work.

Went over the 2hrs quoted to install brake pads. And got full( finger tips and palm complete) oiled handprints all over the driver side visor and cloth on the interior (roof). Clothes filthy he climbs back in no covers or gloves still. His hands are still filthy and uses window cleaner to clean the oil off my interior😠🤬 Wtf
