Very knowledgeable and kind people, and just went in there for work shown on the dashboard of my wifes Panamera and they found some coolant problems that were covered under warranty and took care of it with speed, ease, and general good work. And they dont charge what you get charged at the brand name dealers service bay. Sometimes, not even half! Yet they do the same or better job! You cant go wrong here.

Niko and Midtown Autoworks were awesome. Got my Cayman in right away, diagnosed the problem, did a full car checkup, and completed the work quickly and correctly. Niko does a good job of explaining the issues and the work required. His prices are very fair, especially compared to the dealer. Everyone I dealt with at the shop was very friendly and helpful.

I had them check out a 2009 Cayman bought from a local dealer. Very friendly. Did not take my CC info until the car arrived. They even mentioned that there was a closer mechanic. I chose them anyway based on their great customer service on the phone. I am out of state and was a bit nervous about buying a car without seeing it in person. Niko checked it out thoroughly and then had one of his mechanics give a second opinion. They detailed minor issues and provided a cost for future repairs. It was a very honest and competent description of the car. They even charged me less than the original quote because the car was in better shape than they thought it would be. Highly Recommended.

Nico is extremely personable! I come up from the Bay Area to get my work done by him. Once you factor in time and gas it doesn’t make much sense to go so far from where I live. However, I want Nico to have my Business because he’s got a unique personality that sticks out much than other shop owners I’ve met. He’s also extremely knowledgeable, funny, and kind in everything from his work to personal interactions that he does. He truly cares about his work and making sure the customer leaves happy! I was provided a thorough list of repair items and Niko worked with me to understand how in-depth of a PPI I really wanted. This wasnt a concourse-level car but it was reassuring to know that they were taking the time to listen to my own unique set of concerns and criteria.Several weeks later, I traveled to Sacramento to see the car myself. After a test drive, I showed up at Midtown Auto unannounced and Niko spent a great deal of time discussing his impressions of the vehicle and even drafted a list of estimated repair costs for the issues identified. I ended up purchasing the car and am very happy with it--not a lemon! Niko and his team at Midtown Autoworks were professional, knowledgable, and eager to help from start to finish. If I were in the Sacramento area I would not hesitate to take the car to Midtown for service.

Hello- So here is the deal-I have only written 2 on line reviews in my life. They are both for Midtown Autoworks. Why? Simply because are they best service provider I have ever come across-Not just Auto Servicing. More than anyone else they recognize the value of good customer service. This means prompt, courteous, excellent and fair priced auto servicing. Niko understands that this type of service creates long term customers and a recommendation from a current customer has unlimited value, including word of mouth. That is how I found Midtown- from another Porsche owner. This is why they continue to grow. Midown Autoworks honestly cares about their customer base and treats them as they would like to treated. I travel quite a distance for servicing at Midtown. Although there are many others in Nevada County where in live, that advertise services they cannot or will not do, but are things that Niko and his staff do as a matter daily business. If you own a Porsche or Mercedes, do yourself a favor and skip the others and go directly to Midtown Autoworks. I promise you it will be the best car move you will ever make.John B

I would recommend Midtown Autoworks to anyone who has a high end vehicle. I own a Mercedes and since I bought it no one has serviced my car except for Niko. After several years taking my car to Niko... hes still the one! Although my Wifes car is still being serviced by the dealer, since its only a year or so old. My Porsche continue to visit Niko for all services and the simple things (oil changes). I live in Rocklin, so its easily a 40 min drive. Im happy to make that trek, well past many other service shops Ive used in the past.(3+ years ago)Nikos great! Knowledge about Porsche, and a trustworthy mechanic. (Its a great family biz, his dad Spiro helps around the shop... which makes for comfortable chats when waiting for my car.)

Niko did a great job replacing the dead battery in my Mercedes C-300. In most cars I can do that myself, but in a Mercedes the battery is way underneath an inaccessible. Very reasonable price and quick service.

Niko at Midtown Autoworks just passed the TRUST test! After a required visit to the Mercedes Benz dealer for a recall replacement of the driver’s side airbag, I took my wife’s E350 to Midtown for a second opinion on a battery replacement. The dealer recommended a new battery, saying that four years was the average lifespan of the OEM battery. Niko tested the battery and discovered it to be still good saving me about $350. Trust Midtown to never upsell you the way the dealer does!

Always honest, helpful and polite. If you want quality work with honest mechanic this is the place its hard to trust people these days but you can trust them. Been there a few times with my mercedes. Just because I have a nice car doesnt mean I need to be ripped off.

The owner and the tech are very knowledgeable about what they do. They will do a through all job. The shop is clean and the personal are friendly and willing to help you out.

I came to Midtown Autoworks because I have gone to two other local Porsche specialists who could not troubleshoot a leak. One shop even had my car for over a month, which included 3 return trips. That was frustrating to say the least.Niko and his team fixed my leak - permanently. To make the situation more unique and complex, this was a known issue from Porsche, but did not have any manuals, or replacement parts since it was not a Porsche manufactured component. Niko went out to research the problem, how to fix it, found replacement parts from a specialty shop and performed the repair based on his 10+ years of factory training and experience.Needless the say, Midtown Autoworks is the only shop in Sacramento I would trust and recommend that have your Porsche serviced - whether it be regular service or unique problem.Heres the icing on the cake for me. I have been to many shops from many different manufacturers. When Niko says he will call you back on a certain date with an update, or a quote - he does! I have been to countless shops where they never do what they say they will. I always have to call them back or chase them down just for an update. This is a great example of how customer service should be.So with the technical expertise to fix your problem (or perform regular maintenance) with factory training and many years of experience, great customer service, and reasonable pricing, is there any reason to go anywhere else? Ive been taking my 2007 Porsche 911 to Midtown Autoworks for a few years now and hes always done a great job at an affordable price. Theyve been more than helpful in every aspect, even gave me a ride home one time (I live in Antelope, so about 16 miles) when it was discovered that my car would need to stay in the shop for a few days. Niko (the owner, I believe) has always been transparent about what needs to be done, what might need to be done somewhere down the line, and will show me the trouble parts that he replaced and why it was faulty. Turnaround time is always pretty quick, unless a part needs to be ordered, but I dont fault them for that since it would be impossible to keep all parts in stock all the time.They keep the facility clean and maintained, and have a small area with free WiFi, TV, water cooler and a coffee machine.I will be continuing to visit Midtown Autoworks for any of my Porsche service needs, and I would highly recommend them!

I have a 2003 Boxster I brought to Niko after I bought it. Niko is great. He told me what I needed to get fixed now, what could wait until later if I needed to and the signs to watch for if I did wait to know I needed to bring the car back in.The shop is clean and orderly. His knowledge of Porsches is great. His prices are reasonable. He will be my mechanic as long as I own a Porsche.

We have been taking our Mercedes and Porsche to Niko for the past 2-3 years. In every case of repair or maintenance, Niko has been honest, direct and fair. His knowledge is exceptional and if he is not sure about something, he doesnt BS you...he says Im not sure, but will find out and get back to you.The quality of his work is top notch and his repairs are much more economical than the dealers (surprise?) and you get better attention and, in my opinion, much better service. Often Niko takes care of little things he finds (a light bulb out, adjusting an item, etc) and doesnt charge for it...just part of his excellent customer service.I am also the owner of a small business and Niko certainly has the skills, honesty and attention to service that will keep customers coming back and bringing new ones via referrals.I would have no qualms in recommending him highly to my friends and associates for service and repairs on porsches, mercedes and other vehicles.

Niko was great. He serviced my Porsche Panamera recently. I got 50K tuneup (oil change, cabin filter, air filter and spark plugs). He recommended getting my brakes, sensors and rotors done also. Gave me a good discount compared to what Livermore/Rocklin Porsche was quoting me. Niko is very knowledgeable, technical and personable. He kept me updated on the progress of my car throughout the day. I would definitely recommend family and friends to Niko.

Had purchased a 2004 Porsche 911, contacted Midtown Autoworks with questions on IMS and RMS. They were very informative and I decided to have them and the clutch replaced. They scheduled the work around my schedule and completed all earlier than expected. They saved all removed parts and went over them with me when I picked up the car. I am very pleased with the attention to detail in both the description and execution of work. I checked several Porsche shops in my area to fix IMS problem with my Boxster and Nick came highly recommended by Porsche Club members. He fixed the problem for a lot less than his competitors and for a small shop, offered convenience similar to dealerships, such as pickup and drop-off. The shop is conveniently located and easy to find. Nick has a good attitude towards customer satisfaction, adjusting any questions and dispute fairly. He also fixed some additional items on my Porsche for which he did not charge me.I just brought my turbo in for routine check and Nikos proposed a thorough 60K check; I am glad I listened to his advice rather than wait for some catastrophic events (since I have very low miles on the car, the plugs and tires are likely worn out, just due to time/age. He also advised new tires, and I have a friend who has a race shop and a trailer who informed me old tires on his 18 wheeler just exploded because of age. He also fixed my reserve reservoir on my clutch, its now almost like new, much less effort in shifting. As usual excellent friendly service from a very knowledgeable mechanic!!

Awesome. They did a pre purchase inspection (PPI) of a Porsche Boxster for me. Im out of state and relied on them to help me out with a thorough inspection. I could not be happier with the time and care that they spent on this for me. Niko provided in-depth analysis of the vehicle and spent a lot of time with me on the phone. Niko just wrapped up a major project on my newly acquired 1999 Carrera. He was awesome to start to finish. I had been hunting for a 996 for several months. I found a potential car in Roseville and had the car driven to Niko at MidTown for a pre-purchase inspection in mid-February. He did a thorough evaluation and gave me his opinion of the car. I decided to purchase the car and left the car in his possession. Niko suggested and I agreed to a 60 k service, IMS bearing, clutch, flywheel replacement, brake flush, water pump, thermostat and any other items that might arise during the dismantling of the car. Niko sent me an itemized bid the very next day for my approval. Half way into the project I returned to Midtown Autoworks to see the old guts laid out on the workbench. I kept the old IMS bearing as a workbench trophy. Within a week my new baby was ready to be picked up. So, all told Niko had my car about 2 weeks and during that time period Niko communicated with me in a timely fashion. Niko did a a great job and I am extremely pleased how my 996 is running. Niko is truely a Porsche whisperer. Thanks.
