It took a long time to get the permit from the county. At times I was frustrated about the wait. The staff was easy to talk to, I believed they could have let me know that I should be patience more . Once the permit was issued, thing went well . the installers were great and did a outstanding job on the install and cleanup. I am very happy with the job at this point and time.

Clark Wagaman Designs built a solid patio cover for our small patio. We have a great experience with them. The sales representative who came to give us a quote was very professional and was not pushy. The office staff are also very pleasant as well as the installer and the owner. We picked Clark Wagaman over other companies not only because they had the most affordable pricing but because of the way they plan on doing the patio cover and the service warranty and maintenance that came with the patio cover. They took care of the permit process and they had designer/engineers who handled the project. We highly recommend them.

While it took from November when we made our deposit until mid-April to finally have the patio cover installed, the cover is well-designed and seems to be high quality. The installation was only 2 days, once it started. We would have appreciated more updates between initial deposit and installation.

Overall experience was good. They were slow to communicate at certain times of the process but they followed through and provided a good product.

Bad customer service, poor workmanship, they don’t fix problem on the right way.

We just purchased the power louvers and love them. Once we got on the schedule, the process to install was quick. The officestaff was helpful and installers very knowledgeable. They seem to be good quality and Im sure well enjoy for years to come.

We absolutely recommend this wonderful company! We had an outdoor covered patio made - half louvre and half solid, and we are very satisfied and happy with the result. It is sturdy, perfect and with excellent materials. It provided the needed shade for our family so we can finally enjoy our backyard!All the people we contacted with- from the office personnel, the contract manager, the project manager, and the builders- all have excellent and professional ethics and they explained & answered all questions we had. The project was finished in a timely manner. They also offer financing payment.Thank you for providing excellent service!

The work done on my patio cover was good. It turn out like I wanted it; half solid and half lattice.It took a while to get out here with Covid19 causes delay in product orders. Jason Brown designed patio cover exactly like I wanted.

Terrible customer service and super dishonest advertising. As the other yelp review from Lindsay B. mentioned, CW Designs advertising is Super shady.I made an appointment as recommended by Clark. I wanted to get the full solid patio cover 10 x 20 for $2995, the sales rep who took the measurements started to play games with pricing and basically mentioned that because of the shape of the wall the price will be about $1500 more for the same size 10 x 20!! also mentioned that he could do a 10 x 10 for $2995.... a complete rip off and dishonest advertising. I asked him to contact the owner directly who seems to be Clark in order to honor the price listed in the advertising. He took photos and said he was going to talk with owner, but never replied back. Also, I emailed the owner directly (Clark), and he didnt replied either. The advertising is just a dishonest lure so that you make an appointment and then when they go to your house they come up with dishonest excuses to not honor their shady advertising.

Currently undergoing some renovation work in the show room, so you wont get a chance to see what a full mock up is. But otherwise, its ok. There is some partial models to look at. Mostly done by appointment so they can get measurements. Nice brochure; looks like several colors to choose from.

For the second time CW Designs has installed a pergola in our back yards. The quality and design is excellent. They listen to what you want to achieve and then provide a product that meets your needs. Their crews are talented, polite and very neat. The ladies in the office are always willing to answer questions and a pleasure to deal with.

My patio cover turned out beautifully. My only concern is that from initial contact to installation took 3 months. I know with everything going on in the world it can cause delays, but I didnt expect it to take 3 months.

CW Designs just finished constructing our patio cover today, and my wife and I are extremely happy with the final result. The entire process was straight forward, from the first “sales” meeting to the engineering/planning meeting, and on through to the actual construction. They even worked with us to meet a completion deadline so that the cover would be ready for a college graduation party for which we had already set a date. My wife and I were especially happy with how courteous, conscientious, and competent the installers, Alex and Howie, were. They treated our home, yard, and property respectfully and upon completion of the actual construction, they even moved a heavy fire pit to a different location and kindly helped replace the patio furniture to where they needed to be positioned under the cover. Before leaving, Alex and Howie made sure we were satisfied with the project and with the work performed, which of course, we were! We had a patio cover installed a few weeks ago and we are extremely happy with it! We decided to do one section the louver system which is over our sliding glass door and the other section solid. It turned out great and I love being able to still have sunlight come in through my sliding glass door if I want! Installation was quick and the guys from CW have all been so nice and professional from start to finish. Very happy overall, would definitely recommend!

My experience was great from start to finish. The representative came to my home to do measurements, informed of the special they were running. I was shown various styles and colors for my patio cover. I was given a install date ( right on time ), and the installers knocked on the door to introduce themselves and informed me what to expect sound wise. Very pleased with the company and employees. Project completed 06/25/2019. Solid Patio Cover. Pleased with the end results. Their schedule at the time was booked so getting on the calendar took longer than I hoped. Went into contract Mar. 19 2019. Im assuming due to their workload it required some initiative on my part to verify dates were confirmed and scheduled. Install crew that came (06/7/19) was professional and thorough. Some missing parts for a fan (no fault of theirs) required a follow up (06/25/19) from their service department to install ceiling fan and replace a damaged end cap. The service tech that arrived was professional and thorough as well.

Our experience with C W Designs was excellent, start to finish. We needed a cover over a central courtyard in the backyard. The summer sun and heat made it often unusable. The design they came up with is perfect. Now we have a beautiful garden room that we will really use. The price was competitive and all of our interactions with their people were pleasant and they fulfilled all of our expectations. We needed a large patio area covered to shade the entire length of our house from a westeren exposure. CW Designs provided us both engineering advice and many design possibilities. The installation team did an outstanding job on a very large structure. Any concerns we expressed during the assembly were handled to our satisfaction.

They were always on time no matter what the appointment was for & nothing but professional, knowledgeable and respectful of us, our time and our home. Their prices were competitive and they gave many choices in style, color & accessories. They always hgve reminders & courtesy calls to ensure everything went smoothly. Even our specific job was a more challenging one from demo, to repairs yo work around (that were not theirs), to just a complicated build due to the steep and off entered Apex of the design of our home to find options that were still safe, secure and didnt block our windows. Even when my mother decided last minute to not mount to the roof, making it even more challenging, they were happy to rework the design and take new measurements to offer the design we ultimately decided on. Even on the day if construction they came up wuth an even better idea and knocked it out of the park, still on time (early actually) and still on budget. The crew that came out really knew how to build and went above and beyond cleaning up every day, keeping us informed, etc. The finished product was more than we could have imagined & we love it. I would recommend CW Designs to anyone.

I love our pergola. It has completely transformed our patio into an outdoor living space. CW was wonderful start to finish and I highly recommend their service and their products!

Customer service is terrible. I asked on several occasions for the project manager to come out to the job site, to call me about concerns and nothing, ignored bah. He offered at one point to take care of a problem with a window in my house early in many problems but that was the last time I heard or saw him. The finish on the cement slab is terrible, the cement crew cleaned their tools on the grass and I had to take a hammer to break up the mess that was left. It took several visits to the office, several phone calls to get small details on the project taken care of. The project was started in early December and not finished until February. I must say however that most of the workers that came out worked hard, and tried hard to do a good job. Be sure to ask for a detailed itemized bill. We asked for one several times and never received it. Only a total cost bill. The last of the small details were finally finished in March. And yes, I am still a bit angry about the terrible customer service received by the management.

The entire experience was easy. There were multiple opportunities to have changes to the design. The installers were excellent and very professional.

We had CW Designs install our patio cover. Ours was 10’x28’ with a ceiling fan. Our salesman Tony McDonald was terrific! Knowledgeable & friendly. There was a slight hiccup on the appointment date & time with our project superintendent. We apparently weren’t on his schedule, even though the office staff confirmed. But he did show the next day. Sophia Diaz provided the go between & she was great. We had the installation on 5/2/19 & Juan & his guy showed up. I can’t say enough about him! One of the most professional, organized & friendliest people. We’ve been in the middle of a backyard renovation, so we’ve been dealing with a lot of contractors. His crew of two got it done in one day! He even went above & beyond to make the electrical connection look awesome! My husband is very particular about that sort of thing & commented “he’s doing it the right way”, which after the project superintendent told us how the electrical connection would look, we were concerned it would look “rigged”. I definitely recommend DW Designs & would definitely ask for Juan & his crew to do your install. You won’t be disappointed!

Clark Wagaman Designs had built a patio cover for our backyard in Sacramento. He is very patient and listen to what our needs are and come up with a few designs for us. His team of builders are all very courteous and always on time. They completed the patio covers on time and cleaned up after themselves every time.

Had some issues with scheduling due to unseasonal rain in late May but once they got started was finished quickly and professionally. Looks great.😎

This is the first time I got patio cover service from them. They did very good job, very professional.

We chose CW designs on a neighborhood recommendation. Multiple meetings lead up to the actual installation. Everyone along the way was nice and professional and the contract was straight forward. The first consult drew up a plan for our patio cover. The 2nd meeting had all the measurements and details confirmed. Drawing and measurements taken, we were a tad disappointed at a cpl of mistakes. An outlet placed in the wrong spot and a downspout aimed the wrong way, lack of a finishing where the end meets our roofline. Nothing too major but a little disappointing. When these slight mistakes were brought to the attention of the installers, there seemed to be little regret or interest in making them right.Overall it was a decent experience and our patio cover is beautiful. Definitely room for improvement but overall it was ok.
