Giving 5 stars because I cant give more. I first became a customer of Daniel and his fine wife in 2000. I havent gone anywhere else for computer service and repair because their work, their customer service and professionalism is so excellent that their reasonable prices are a BARGAIN. know this is selfish, but I hope they stay in business until the very end. If they ever close shop, theyll leave a hole in the community. I hope they know how much we treasure them.

Nice, honest people. Daniel and Tetz have been there since 1988 and Im guessing the service I received must be the reason why. Diagnosed and repaired some faulty fans and thoroughly cleaned my desktop PC. After the bill was paid, went beyond the repair order; and sat down with me for 30 minutes teaching me several things I didnt know about my computer. Trustworthy, competent, and reasonably priced are my takeaways from the experience and I dont know what more you could ask of a business!

Weve been to The Computer Store enough times to know they are top notch in what they do. Weve gotten repairs and bought a computer that they custom built to my needs. Their prices match the big box stores, and they take their time to answer your questions and give advice. An excellent business!

Underwhelming selection, they display a bunch of graphics card boxes that are empty, they only have one or two cards in stock and theyre at insanely inflated markups that would make scalpers blush. Its seems locally owned and the owners are nice but they had no stock, everything was empty boxes. Really sad to see a computer store thats being operated like its in 1999.

My first impressions were mostly very positive. While I was there for only a couple minutes, I was very very surprised by how Intelligent and Helpful the Staff were along with their limited yet Vast Variety of products both New and Used for sale despite the Radio Shack size to the store. So I if youre in Sacramento and youre shopping for PC Parts, but you rather prefer a Radio Shack like Brick and Mortar, while also trying to get away from Best Buy and other Big Box retailers for once, you should definitely put TCS on your list.

I have a small business that uses approximately 8 to 10 computers at a time. For over 15 years Daniel has provided computers, servers, monitors and other computer related equipment and service to our office. He is prompt, reasonable and goes above and beyond if for any reason something does not operate as expected. Thanks for the years of great service. Tim

I brought my laptop to Daniel at The Computer Store a couple years ago, and he was very honest in what was wrong with it and charged me an affordable price. I said to myself that I would be back when I was ready to buy a pc. So today Im writing this review on the pc that I had Dan custom build for me last week! I absolutely love this computer! It is so responsive and thanks to the SSD hard drive it boots up hella quick. I had my son, who knows more than me, look at the hardware and he was impressed. He especially liked the msi wi fi adapter installed, and I love it too because it has an excellent connection signal. The Computer Store not only has quality but the service is superior. Daniel explained everything to me about my pc in a easy to understand format and treated me like a customer the entire time. I will always bring my business here. Thanks Daniel :)

Very kind owner and team that truly know their stuff about computers, and have been serving the Sacramento greater area for 25+ years. Unfortunately, someone has been impersonating the company, directing customers from OfferUp to thecomputersstore.com, a faulty website supposedly located in L.A., causing a lot of confusion and trouble for the good people in Sacramento.

Complete scam! Dont even bother as the owner Daniel is claiming to sell computers online via offerup now and wants me to go to a Walmart and pay him via debit card. What happened to your merchant account? BEWARE

This is the place to go if I have any difficulties with my computer. In the past, he took care of virus problems my company help desk couldnt find. Now he worked on a power supply problem. He is REALLY good!

Dan takes care of his customers. Ive bought desktop computers from him over a 15 year period. He assesses your needs, discusses alternatives and builds accordingly. He uses only top quality mother boards and drives. He doesnt want you to be dissatisfied with your purchase. All diagnoses and repairs are done in shop by Dan. Hes busy! He may take a couple of days longer but you can be sure the problem is solved and the diagnoses and repair explained. Whether your needs are business or gaming Dan will build your machine or select the best laptop for you.

I have bought 5 desktop computers from this store. They do a great job building custom computers. My last 2 computers were Intel I9 processors, and still work great.

One of the few ‘mom & pop’ stores left in Sacramento. Please don’t take that as a negative, but IMO that’s what contributes to their outstanding customer service. Knowledgeable, a willing to help, and fair prices. I have been using these folks since 1990. They have built me power house systems, down to fixing a simple syntax error on a program install. There has never been an issue on fixing/replacing a manufactures defect or warrantee. They are a small crew, so rapid turnaround may be an issue (plan accordingly and they will work with you) – despite this I won’t spend my money any where else!

Only place that has real expertise and know what their selling. Its a small business with big business quality.

They sold me the wrong part and would not accept my return. Their policy is only 7 days
