I was to torn with the treatment I received, I loaded my chair into my car got into the drivers seat sat their for a moment, got back out of my car came back into the store, walked up to Kevin and told him eye to eye while the kid who put the chair together listened, I said Kevin you personally have gone over and above anything required, you made sure that I as a customer was happy and my issue with my chair was resolved, I can’t think of another manager who would have gone to the extant you did in resolving my issue, I told him that I knew he went so far beyond and that I was extremely appreciative of his actions and the manner in which I was delt with by him. I was not happy with the associates and thought to myself I will not buy anything from Office Depot/Max again, but the way in which you handled this was truly exemplary and that because of him I will continue to buy my merchandise in the future from Office Depot/Max I hope that your professionalism and customer courtesy can be an example to and or rub off onto the associates who work around you and with you.Kevin is that diamond in the ruff working at Office Depot/Max, I hope management recognizes his attributes, he is a shinning example of what customer service should strive to duplicate, in my personal view Kevin is an individual who will go far, The customer courtesy and company professionalism is outstanding and second to none. This is coming from another man who managed an office and the daily duties of 13 customer service installation technicians in 6 days a week. Customer satisfaction and service was an absolute high priority in our business, Kevin could easily leave Office Depot/Max and would be appreciated by so many other industries, where customer service is a high priority to there survival and daily function.
Quickly found the envelopes I needed for a quick shipment at USPS, which is just dowv the street.

Id come back just for the customer service. Every store personnel I met asked how I was doing and if I needed any help. One time, two workers even stopped their conversation, and asked if they could help. I was just walking by. I was impressed, you cant get this type of service very many place outside of the 1950s.
I came in for to have my loose lease textbook binded. It took the whole day. I come back the next to to get it and somehow some 20 to 30 pages were destroyed. They made copies to replace them but it looks funky now. And when I go to use my textbook, the bind comes off easily, to I have to put the binds back into the hole every time I turn a page or risk tearing the pages. Theyre pretty over over priced too. Better just to go to Target or Staples, but this specific Office Max could use some work.
I came in to the store knowing that I needed a new office/desk chair. I found one that I liked and the worker KIA helped me out and found some others that might be also good. One that was about the same. I went with a good one that I liked. After Buying it KIA helped me put it in the car.Heres where KIA is most excellent. The next day I had a rough time getting the box out of my car. I went back to the store, His is a BIG box and was wedged in the backseat. He was able to use a box cutter and cut the box up some so that we could get the parts out and then load them in the car. He was a nice guy and very helpful.
Be careful.. someone at this store and others in the area are stealing acct info and using the rewards. I’ve had it done twice, this store didn’t seem to care, the on on Folsom Blvd. was more empathetic and proactive but they will get caught because They are also using their own debit/credit cards to pay the remaining balance, stupid move!
Its expensive and they do not follow the Coronavirus guidelines. Plz wear gloves when you go in there. Especially the copy machines. They dont sanitize anything. Be safe! ❣️

My car broke down yesterday. One of your drivers stop and helped us call a tow truck. He was so kind given us water . He even came back to check on us and brought us cold water. He said the tow truck was on its way. My wife and me we are in our 70s and he honestly cared for us. We didnt get his name .it was around 10:30 on Mather field. Right off highway 50.
This place does copying and is open Sunday when FedEx is not. Good selection of storage boxes, mailing, packing, writing, materials. Never had a complaint with service here.
Terrible Experience with the Print Lady- as soon as I asked how to print couple pictures(from her response seems like she was already having a bad day but none of it my fault so don’t you put it on me) she said “send it to that email right there! So I did and then she printed and then she gave it to me in a whole print paper and I was like am do you cut this too? She said there’s a paper cutting machine right there and I haven’t used kind of machine they have so I was asking her and only response I got was it’s same with all paper cutters!!! I didn’t attempt coz I do not want to ruin the pictures then I went and looked for another employee’s help and he said the print lady does that job and it’s 39cents per so I thought it was 39cents per 4x6 photo and I have 4 total photos in the 2print paper. Then she cut it for me and I was surprised she billed me close to $7 just for cutting and then I looked at the receipt then I realized per movement of the paper cutter it costed me $39 cents so print your photos somewhere else like Walgreens, Sams or Costco Not Here it’s gonna cost you more.
Good for printing and copying stuff. Everything else is over priced for sure.

How do I rate this location? When I first entered the store a gentleman in the copy center treated me and offered to help me find anything. Thats great! Its hard to find that kind of service these days.I found the items I was looking for, plus some. I headed to the register and this is why this review is getting 3 stars.As I approached the checkout line, I lady was texting on her phone. Though pleasant, she continued to text on here phone as she checked me out. She only put her phone in her pants (and really in her pants. Not a pocket), when another set of people lined up behind me assisted by another store clerk.If you are going to be at work, be at work. Pleasantness only goes so far. Even as a checkout clerk at Office Max, there should be some level of professionalism. Give the guy in the copy center a rare and make him the trainer.
My favorite store! Although the prices arent cheap, sometimes, you can find good deals. Pay special attention to the yellow price labels, clearance.The copy service is in high quality and reasonable price. Great staff!

I go here for all my copying needs. The staff is great and always ready to answer any questions you have about new products and now they offer a smart phone repair service. Great to know I can count on them for all my marketing and copy needs.
Please unclog the womens bathroom toilets. ugh! Everything else about Office Max is great. You still get a 5-star for service and good pricing.
Considering the location this is a very handy store to have in the neighborhood. Friendly helpful staff, they work hard to please you and follow thru to your satisfaction. The store is kept very clean inside. Please be watchful and mindful of your surroundings while entering and exiting the store and your vehicle. Do not leave anything in your car out in the open.
The cashier was very talented. She was working two registers at the same time. She gave excellent customer service.
Office supply store. Has office stuff and good prices on items. Signage needs to be better, but still relatively easy to find things.
Office max? Its more like Office Minimum. They never have what I want and thats usually the 1st place I go to since its close to my house. I always have to go elsewhere.
I came into the store a bit overwhelmed and attempted to look around the store for what I needed but could not find it. A young man named Joseph went above and beyond what customer service is. He assisted me throughout the store helping me find what I needed. If not for him this store would deserve a 1-star because every other associate completely ignored me, including who I believe to be the managers.
They were great and very helpful! The manager jumped in when the cash register line was getting a little long and cheerfully helped everyone!

Such a lack of customer service. I walked in, and the guy at the copy and print station just looked at me and didn’t even say hello. Not once did anyone approach me to ask if I needed help looking for anything.

This is a pretty good store. The staff was really helpful when I needed assistance. You cant really see this store from Arden Way so you have to look for the sign. Bonus for crafters... this store is right beside a Jo-Anns Fabric and Craft Store :-)
I needed some images printed and emailed them to officemax, it turned out I had ordered them to be delivered instead of pickup so I had to wait a couple of days but they arrived quickly and looked good. I placed another order and made sure it was for pickup the next day. I called just before leaving home to make sure they would be ready and the guy said he was running a little behind but would have them done. I arrived about an hour later and they were ready. I decided to make additional print and the guy running the dept. was very helpful and showed me how to line them up properly after i messed up some of the copies.

This place is always empty and clean. Parking in front is always available. Customer service has been terrible. I have only encountered the same cashier and the tone used was very rude and arrogant. Very nonchalant about everything and unprofessional. I though the cashier was asking me a question, but I couldnt hear clearly, so I said, Pardon?. The cashier then said, I wasnt talking to you. Employees could at least try and provide better service. Only going here because it is so close to work and we get toner from here. The order is always ready within the hour which is great when in a crunch!

Good selection of common office supplies, school supplies, printer ink(expensive,but isnt it everywhere?), some office furniture (typical particle board, asst required) with delivery and assy available for a fee. Also have limited supply of small office equipment and supplies, i.e. trash cans, coffee makers, labels, organizers, etc. Generic brands and store brand items at lower than name brand prices for some items.
The Staff were super helpful in finding the right paper products. PLUS, when I mentioned that I could get it cheaper on Amazon, they mentioned right there, that they would PRICE MATCH Amazon! I walked out of there with a 40% discount!

Came in and was rudely ignored by the guy behind copy & print, I also tried to flag down another associate but was again ignored! I think his name is Tyler (heard someone call out to him). Extremely unprofessional! I’m assuming he was a manager because he was not wearing a red shirt. If I can’t rely on him to assist me than I would hope the company could rely on him as a manager!

I Go To This Place A Lot And Its Always Very Clean. There Customer Service Is Great And They Make Things Very Simple For You To Get It Done Fast. They Do Seem To Be Short On Staff Because A Few Time Ive Been In Theres A Line Of People Of About 5-8 People With 1 Worker. They Do Treat Each Customer Just As Good As The Next, Without Hurry, Making Sure They Have What They Need And Directing Them For A Comfertable Quick And Easy Experiance. I went to return an item that a friend had purchased about 2 weeks ago. The return and refund was taken care of quickly and accurately (my friend had saved the receipt).
