This product game my old mom twenty more years.
Their product didn’t work for me at all on top of shipping me “ additional” products that I did not ask for. Then they had the nerve to charge me $100 per product when they were advertised for only five dollars each. Do yourself a favor and scroll on! This company isn’t worth the hassle for the promises they make.
I could not be more pleased with my Allegro reformer, or with the customer service I have received. Xochitl Aguilar has been amazing at keeping me in the loop and responding to my questions and needs without delay. Thank you Xochitl and Balanced body! I highly recommend your products and your company.
This is an amazing company with a great culture. I have been able to tour the facility and see the craftsman ship first hand. Its really great to see something so positive made in America.
Balanced Body has horrible customer service and questionable workmanship. I am the owner of quite a few pieces of equipment form this company. I own a reformer, a chair, Pilates spring board, a ladder barrel and a Balanced Body Trapeze table (Cadillac). I own a small studio in Colorado.I am in the process of communicating with Balanced Body customer service about a crack in my newish Cadillac. This past spring of 2016 I noticed cracks and delaminating glue joints on all four corners of my Cadillac, at that time it was approximately 4 years old. I called Balanced Body and was told this was very unusual and it should never have happened. I was also told it was dangerous and should not be used anymore. Since this piece of equipment has a lifetime warranty they said they would ship a replacement and to throw the other one away. It was supposed to arrive in a timely manor which it did not...it took about a month... Now I have a crack in the brand new frame that was sent to me.I contacted Balanced Body again. I told them I was not interested in having them send me a new frame since it was clear to me that they have a problem with the manufacturing of this particular piece of equipment, 2 pieces sent to the same customer with the same issue...that is no longer a fluke its a problem. As well as dangerous to myself and my customer. Balanced Bodys resolution was to send me a new one or refund me $900 for a piece of equipment I spent $3895 for. I refused their offer and proceeded to go back and forth with them for a couple of weeks. The last communication I received from them said they would still offer me the $900 or offer a 10 year extended warranty on the new piece since I was trying to sell it at the time I noticed the crack. They only offered the extended warranty after I pointed out that they were more then happy to pass the buck off on to the next person who owns it. I asked for a full refund or to extend the warranty for the lifetime for the next owner...if I was gonna keep it they would have to honor the warranty so if they really stand behind it they should just do this in good faith. Since then, I have reached out to the Better Business Bureau, at this point I am still awaiting a resolution and it has been a month now.Their warranty states they can replace it, repair it or refund the full amount. I dont want a replacement, it cannot be repaired so the other option is refund which they say is only if they no longer manufacture the particular piece of equipment in question. No where in the warranty does it state this...seems like they misleading their customers. I have been told I am being treated like any other customer would in this situation...how many times a week does this happen at Balanced Body? If I treated my customers this way I wouldnt have any....I will update this post when a resolution has come about. I dont feel this company is standing behind this product. And as the weeks roll on I also feel that my business and ability to make a living is of no concern to Balanced Body. Not a company I would choose to deal with if I had known...
Great experience from the helpful customer service staff to having my order arrive in Canada within one week of order and on exactly the day they predicted it would arrive
Rude personnel working here. I had a few questions to ask about some equipment and they I was sent to a voicemail machine only to never be called back!
Everything they make here is made in house and hand crafted. The craftsman ship that goes into this equipment is just unbelievable.
Beware when dealing with this co. Getting service when a refund has been promised will take you hours and days of your time. Their 3 to 5 days once the equipment has been returned and everything O.Ked for the full refund doesnt happen as promised. We are a Pilates studio still trying to get a refund after 3 weeks.
