Joey runs a fantastic store here that has a really strong community and tons going on every week. The game and miniatures selection is excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful. Lost of open tables for gaming. They also have rentable gaming space if you want something private.

Very corporate and unfriendly atmosphere. things are marked up like crazy such as a d&d book collection for 160 dollars over the usual 90 something dollars found online. card sleeves behind the counter are unmarked in price, but come to be significantly more expensive than youd expect by the time you are rung up.as for the staff, they are clearly more worried about following the current mandate regarding masks than providing a welcoming experience. i have heard multiple people arrive at the store only to be instantly asked if they have a mask. no hi, we have tables in the back if you want or hi, welcome to our store. nothing of the sort. these people had their walk-in experience make them feel like theyve done something wrong and have been judged by the soulless workers there who most likely dont care if they sell anything, as long as their terrible tournaments are able to be run and the participants get advertisements fed to them during.tldr: unwelcoming staff who are disinterested in the customer or in providing a nice atmosphere. prices are ludicrous to the point of being insulting. got ripped off once, never buying a thing again.

Im new to this kind of gaming and the staff here have been amazing in helping me ease into it. From recommendations, to help understanding Warhammer, theyre amazing. Courteous and friendly at all times. The store is clean, and well organized. Excellent selection, despite it being a somewhat smaller store. Theres also an awesome play area in the back, that one day Ill take advantage of. Overall, my favorite game store in Sacramento.

This place has a great selection, awesome staff and even better atmosphere. I always enjoy coming to this location for events they have always been spectacular. Special shout out to Joey for always making me feel welcome.

Great place for all things games, including tables to play. Would like to see some TCG singles, but a very well stocked selection.

This store is super close to my house. Im happy we have such a great game store so close.The store is clean and most of the staff is upbeat and friendly. I would suggest any and all game players to stop in. If you are a traditional boardgame player, stop by and find something new. If you are an experienced boardgame player, come by and get an extension pack for your favorite game!

The staff is great. The store has an excellent selection of paints and supplies. The dice and miniatures selection is terrific.

Went in to buy my girlfriend a present for her birthday and the lady at the counter was very helpful and polite they had a pretty good selection of dice to choose from a little pricy but worth it Im my opinion.

I had no idea what to expect when I walked in but I was really impressed. Friendly staff, clean store, great stock and great prices! So happy to have this store in my community. Some stores have a musty, unfriendly vibe but this was not the case at all! I will definitely be back!

The best place for all things gaming in a hundred mile radius! Joey is a fantastic resource for whats new and pointed me to Red Dragon Inn( a great card game!).

WOW this place ROCKS!They had a crafting/painting table in the back, a huge game room and tons of different games of all different types not just dnd stuff and they had lots of active tournament info!All around 10/10 if you ask me😁🎉

Great and knowledgeable staff put a lot of variation in knowledge. Disappointing in the end. But this was just more of a personal issue with a misunderstanding of the return policy. Still thought it was silly that I spent over $1000 there in three days but the owner wouldn’t Let me return $100 item without a receipt even though I would exchange for different merchandise with that return. Being new to tabletop gaming I guess I didn’t ask enough questions before paying because I thought there would be no problem with returns of undamaged items. Anyway I’ll take my business to one of the other hobby shops

The best place to get your table top gaming and board game fix. They have a huge library of board games to buy and warhammer 40k stuff. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Tell joey Dean says i recommended the place and i say hi.

This store just wasnt MY bag. I guess I thought it was some kind of video game store. Partially my fault as I didnt do any research on it beforehand. Wife and me thought wed check it out. I will say this, if we were into the whole D&D type adventure games, this would definitely be the place to go. They have a wide variety of games and equipment to suit your needs. The staff was very cool and very friendly.

I love Game Kastle. Every time my group comes to play Dungeons and Dragons we have personal and friendly interactions with the staff and the public playing room is free to use. Their dice and other merchandise is quality and inexpensive as well. 10/10 recommend for gaming, playing, staff kindness/service, and prices.

A large group of us played a notoriously long game (Twilight Imperium) for over 8hrs, and found the facilities to be excellent. The prices here are a teeny bit higher than our usual spot, but wow, its worth it! The chairs are super comfortable, the tables were large enough to accommodate a very large game, and the whole of the shop is very clean. As the only woman in my gaming group we are all keenly aware of how hostile many businesses are towards women. Game Kastle has a very friendly atmosphere, and while I only saw too other females (a woman in her fifties and a young girl) I never got the sense of being unsafe. That fact alone will have us returning for another all-day gaming experience. Thanks for a great say, Game Kastle!

Every time I come in, its a very friendly atmosphere. The manager, Joey, is always very welcoming and kind. The play space is quite large and their terrain selection is good to great, depending on the game system youre looking to populate the table with. The card and RPG areas are always very spacious and youre not crammed next to folks. The stock is very neatly displayed and alphabetized.Overall I very much like this place and recommend this establishment as a gaming hall for tabletop, card games RPGs.

Really impressed with this game store! On the outside it appears small, but the floor space in the interior is expansive.They have all kinds of games and supplies for game hobbyists. We were looking for Warhammer stuff (and picking up a pre-order), and Citadel paints and glue. They also had a bunch of things for making tabletop game terrain, Star Wars game miniatures, and bunches of board and card and RPG games.They also have a ton of tables for gaming in-store, once the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions are lifted, including an entire separate room for tournaments and such, and another room (with sinks!) for painting and building your minis.All around, its our new favorite game store! Thanks, Joey, for your hospitality and creating a space for passionate hobbyists.

I like the game, but whats the point of playing as different characters? They all do the same thing. Theres no difference between them. Bad Ice Cream 3 is good game on hudgames

You have to visit this place! If you are into table top gaming, role playing games, card games like Magic: The Gathering, Warhammer or anything like that, this is your store. They have a great retail section with all your gaming needs. There is an area with free use tables, open to all your gaming needs. Recently they even had a to scale castle from Dungeons & Dragons available for use. It was created by Rancho Cordova, CA Artist, & Gamer Miles A. Maria. I learned about this place from my dad and its worth a visit for sure.

New game shop with lots of potential. Their proximity to A1 Comics could backfire, but the focus is different enough that it can work. A lot more space for gaming groups and CCG/TCG tournaments.

At last a great game store for the Carmichael/Citrus Heights/Roseville side of town!This is a franchise store for the popular online retailer of the same name. Very friendly staff, plenty of gaming tables/space. But it’s the selection where this store really shines.HUGE paint section of multiple brands, minis storage solutions, brushes, accessories and more.Not only do they also carry miniatures there is board games, card games (CCG & non-), RPGs, and the most dice I’ve ever seen this side of a convention dealers room.Not too far off the freeway. If you’re on the Eastern side of the Sacramento metro and have been driving almost downtown to another certain game store by a big mall, stop by this place first next time.
