I have adored this store since it opened. We no longer live in Sacramento, but Strapping was a Day 1 stop when we visited last week. They have a great selection of goods including modern furniture, toys, books, novelty gifts, and the best greeting cards. I still follow Strapping on IG and it has been awesome to see Susan grow this business and do some incredible work with the community. Do stop in if youre in town!

Such a fun loving store..My friend was in the mood to go shopping but supporting local business. So this store here had a little bit of everything. It reminds me of some stuff you dont normally see but yet have cool items that fit and everyone might need or want..Some highlights I see is they have cute kitchen ware and accessories. Such a cute goblets, bartending tools, coasters, and plush and etc. They have a little corner of pet supplies and toys, scarves, and etc. They have cute wrapping paper, with selena print which is so cool and unique..Overall I love this store there is so much to see. They have tons of great gift ideas for any occasion. The lady working was incredibly friendly and wrapped my items with a quirky wrapping paper free of charge! Im definitely coming back through whenever I need a quick gift idea!You can also order online and its a easy process items are ready within 24 hours!

This place is SO COOL!!! It has all kinds of stuff, from the super classy to a super unique gag gift. I could have purchased so many things! Also, everything is very reasonably priced and the owner is a local, and she is very nice.

There are precious few real gift shops to be found these days. I can count on Strapping to find something out of the ordinary, something creative, and something fun to surprise recipients. The owner/buyer has a great eye for the unusual and never fails me.

I thought the store was small, some items are cool especially the feminist reading material, but it felt like an overpriced tourist shop plugged into Oak Park in my opinion. A pair of gag socks is sold for $12, Oak Park hats are being sold for over $20, and I saw a single pencil going for $3. The lack of representation on different fronts, made me feel like this is not a local business that I would feel comfortable supporting. As an Oak Park native and not currently white (bad joke), the expensive items and the store inventory did not speak to me in any way.

Hands down, most fun shop in Sacramento bringing that very sophisticated & cool Bay Area vibe. People, if you love having a spot where you can find a witty, unique, stylish, perfect gift for ANYONE in your life (including yourself) and have it gift wrapped 10 minutes before you have to deliver said gift, this is that spot. This is our favorite place to browse, too. I swear were there at least once a week and the shop owner, Susan, is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Shes always adding new incredible, rad items to the shop. Unique bar gifts for all of us folks who love a good cocktail, foodie items, home decor, childrens toys and games, games for adults, awesome local clothing and threads, watches, even rad gifts for pets and pet lovers. I was able to see some of their products online, and I even called them to get help with personal recommendations. They shipped the gifts across the country to me and everyone loved them.
