This store claimed that when they changed ownership, they improved their customer service. However, there has been absolutely no change in customer service. They are very rude and they dont even acknowledge customers. I recommend the employees take a course to learn how to treat customers like human beings. Customers should be appreciated because they are the ones that keep the store open. I am never going back, there are 4 other similar stores within a short distance.

This store has the best selection in sacramento. Very courteous employees, i know couple of them and they are so nice so respectful always try to go above and beyond in customer service. They also have the best halal meat in sacramento. They have fresh vegetable selection and small sweet selection, so you can have the best shopping experience.

The service is so slow. i had two bad experience and both of them because of the slow service. i placed an order by phone to be picked up after half hour and it was almost one hour and its not ready.

Zeeshan market is a great place to buy Indian, Afghani, Fijian and Pakistani groceries and spices. They serve the best halal meat in town.Staff is really helpful and friendly. I have had great experience with the staff and owner. I sometimes call beforehand to order groceries and meat, they keep it ready to take away. The store is well maintained, clean and well stocked. The meat department is hygenic. And a wonderful thing is that, they give you 3% back on every $100 spent. They always have deals and promotions going on for their regular customers.

The guys in the meat section are rude!! They refuse to speak in English. Asked for an extra plastic bag and the guy was yelling something in Urdu. You guys choose to immigrate to America, attempt to integrate. Learn some customer service. Its actually good for business.

Beware when buying meat from them! First time i ordered minced meat, they mixed old with fresh( difference in color was very obvious,) unfortunately they gave it to me in a black bag and i only checked it back home. I gave them benefit of the doubt that time as the one who packed it up for me was an old man ( took him 10 minutes, now i know why!)but 2nd time when i ordered lamb meat pieces from them, i checked it before leaving the store to check if they had put old meat, the color was fine however i discovered when cooking it that they mixed it with beef meat( lamb cooks very fast and becomes soft where the beef tends to be rubbery even after cooking it for a long time) even my 4 year old noticed the difference! Lamb meat is more expensive in case you know so i basically got ROBBED!.. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKED SELLERS! I’m taking the meat and reporting them to the police!

ReasonMeat shop was great in the beginning but now its garbage .Chicken leg piece are like beef leg piece believe me they were so big took almost a day to cook.Sometimes water from fridge is dripping on meat. Truxel still better and good price.They dont have much variety either.

They have fresh halal meat. I always order by phone first and pick them up later. So, I dont need to wait longer in store. But sometimes the person who pick up the phone couldnt speak english very well :( its a why I give them now only 4*. ( I usually order for 1 or 2 weeks stock).

MEAT BUYER BEWARE!Stop mixing meat waste into meat that you sell at $12 a poundStop being sneaky and stop getting rid of old lamb when customer have clearly asked for a baby goat leg.Stop selling aged goats which you know will never cook throughly even in 6 hours on stoveStop defrauding people at least in Ramadan. I doubt if the meat is even halal seeing their actions.

I can never find a middle eastern market so I was happy to stumble upon this because with how hot it is in Sacramento rooh afza is a must. The store had a simple layout so I found rooh afza instantly and it was only 3 bucks a bottle! For anyone who hasnt tried rooh afza and is suffering this heat wave I highly recommend trying it.

My go to store, every weekend for meats, spices, sweets, flour, rice, some veggies, Indian pickles, ginger garlic paste, Gopi yogurt, Pakistani goodies candies and chocolates and even sodas etc. New Management since over a year and the new owner is extremely extremely hard working. Great crew, although Usman in the meat department could do a bit better if he smiled. Hes dead serious most of the time, nevertheless, he gives clean and nice meat always. I have recommended many coworkers and they have become very regular customers. Because the store runs a lot so even their frozen stuff is actually fresher than other places. My friends from Davis and Yuba regularly visit Eshan market for meat and other stuff.
