Very good market. One stop shop for all pakistani and indian groceries. The gentelman at the meat department is very, very nice and helpful. Its always a pleasure talking to him. If you are in the area, definitley make a stop.

I go here for the fresh marinated meat and uncooked Roti. Been going here for about 3 years. Clean, and always stocked.

I like that its close to home and I could always find my favorite incense (nag champa) and satisfy my sweet tooth with a tray of assorted treats from Dass Sweets. The only reason I gave it four stars today was because when I was paying the guy at the register made me feel like I wouldnt have enough to pay for the whole box of incense. Other than that great variety

The quality, cleanliness and selection of their meat counter is better than any other Hala-store I have been to in all of the Sacramento area.

First of all, I went to this place seeing all the good reviews this place had. I am quite surprised how this place has such a good rating visiting here personally. It didnt had much fresh produce. The vegetables were rotten. I bought Aloo paratha, my favorite. Reached home and I dont how there was oil releasing from the packet of Aloo paratha. Seriously disgusting. I had bought 2 packets and threw them both. I dont think I would like to go here next time.

Whenever you are looking for a quality goat meat, call them, describe what kind of goat meat you are looking for, and they will give you honest answer about the availability of the type you are looking for. Their meat department masters in the perfection of of the meat cut!!!!5/5 in my book.

They offer great prices on Pakistani, Indian and Fijian groceries and spices. Their spice collection is elaborate and wonderful.I have been helped by the staff to find and choose products whenever I visit the store.They also offer good quality meat at affordable prices.The store is always clean and well stocked. A plus point is that, it is open 7 days a week.

Really good South Asian grocery and meat place. I love the fact that I can find almost anything (that I liked) from Pakistan. The staff though looks rude and very quite, however, they are not. They are really cooperative and would give you good discount as well in case you are a regular customer. My two year old always gets a free ice cream/juice per trip.

Nice people great food items. Happy to welcome them to the neighborhood. Ill be back.

My family is mutton-cautious and we do not purchase goat meat from any store that cant be believed credible to our optical and mental satisfaction. For good meat we undergo travel from FOLSOM to anywhere including Sacramento. Locating this store on internet, we visited it and found over and above our expectations. All staff especially working in the meat section is very cooperative, neat and clean. They clean the meat very quaintly. Above all goat meat was really that of goat. I pray for steadfastness on the quality of meat that this store is currently providing.

Good store. Can get almost all Asian grocery things. But dont expect to get good vegetables all the time. But the owner is good and attends all your queries.

Excellent, clean, great prices and great variety of choices in groceries. The meat quality is exceptional. I received great services and warm welcome too.

Drove across town to shop at this store. They have a good selection and we found what we were looking for. Upon checking out the clerk said my card did not process but I had noticed what I thought was approved on the keypad. He was certain so we ran the card again and left. A couple of days later I noticed duplicate charges on my statement for the pruchase. I called Shan Market and left a message, no return call. Called again later, talked to a person, explained the issue, gave them all the needed numbers off the receipt and asked them to correct. They have all card transaction records and can easily check but he said I would have to bring the receipt in. The purchase was less than $10.00 and not worth the drive across Sacramento. I am sure there are plenty of other stores closer we will use in the future.

Our favorite store in Sacramento region. Best halal meat in town, specially chicken. Deli is good too. Huge selection on spices and other desi food stuff. They could make it a little bit more cleaner, but I understand that they are expanding and renovating.

Great selection of dried, refridgerated and frozen foods as well as cookware and other stuff. Also includes a halal butcher corner. Ive found things here Ive never found anywhere else.

Nice big clean grocery with quality ingredients for Indian cooking. I even found drumstick for my sambar dal in the frozen section! Cashier was very helpful and polite to me.
