The guy who I think owns the.business was very frank and honest and was able to help me figure out exactly what I needed for a large kiddie pool. Didnt waste my time or try to get me to buy things I dont really need. Will definitely go back.

We love our Caldera hot tub that we purchased here a couple years ago. Excellent customer service and the staff is very knowledgeable about all the products they sell. I’m so glad the owner suggested getting the easy lift cover. It does make it extremely easy to open and close but what I like most is that it keeps the cover out of the way! I highly recommend purchasing your next hot tub, sauna and/or chemicals from Capital City Hot Tubs!

We had kind of a tricky request for a pool cover. When i called, Mr. Luke was friendly, professional, and had answers to all my questions. What more can you ask for from any business? Im heading down to the shop to get our specs in and come home happy. His son, Kevin has also delivered the same kind of service. I highly recommend this company.

Wow what a great experience I just got the hot tub of my dreams. Im so glad that Ive been working with Don and Kevin and the rest of the staff for over a decade buying hot tub parts to do repairs not only on my hot tub but others. They always have what I need or know what to do to help my customers. So this time Don got me the perfect fit with Caldera spa, Utopia Series. it is like a white water rafting experience with jets that dont miss a muscle, lights and blue tooth music. It is truly paradise!!! I cant thank them enough for the quick removal and installation on my new hot tub!!! They really know there hot tubs.

Looking to buy a hot tub for a house, so I went in here to get an idea of what to expect. Guy working was a huge bag. Not at all interested in helping me, giving me straight answers, or wearing a mask (during COVID). Dont know if he looked at me and assumed I wasnt serious about buying or if he treats everyone this way, but if you want a friendly and helpful hot tub buying experience, definitely go elsewhere.UPDATE: If the owners response doesnt tell you all you need to know about this place, then you two probably deserve each other.UPDATE 2: I also suggest that you look at the equally appalling response to Clydes review below before deciding to shop here.

After spending over $10,000 on a on a Caldera spa and giving Don so many positive write ups to give him business at his request, my husband returned a filter to him today. They sold him the wrong filter and Don did not want to get stuck with the filter. They sold us a small filter. He told my husband if it does not fit do not come back. OK, Don you can count on it! That is no way to treat a customer who has written up yelp, Google and on your website. Perhaps it’s time for you to retire. It’s not our fault that you sold us the wrong filter! You should have made it right on the spot and not get so belligerent! Buyer beware! 😡

We had a wonderful experience at Capitol City Hot Tubs. We went to see a certain size hot tub and there was no pressure and they let us take our time deciding. When they brought the tub and set it up they explained how to use it and gave us written instructions. We love our hot tub💕💕and thank Capitol City for their friendliness and efficiency.

I love my small hot tub. I suffer from chronic pain, so to ease my suffering, my parents bought me this wonderful hot tub. The jets are in the right place for my back, feet and knee pain. I cant imagine ever living without this again.I did need to call for service once and they were fast and efficient.

I learned that Don and his staff are extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of hot tubs and spas. All staff are licensed and certified. They only strive to do everything right with the install and upkeep of maintenance in having a hot tub or a sauna.

We bought our spa here last year. They made the entire experience easy from the start. Our spa works so good and is very easy to maintain. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for quality spas at a very affordable price.

I have used Capital City Hot Tubs for years. They frequently came out to service the Master Spa I previously owned. I recently bought a new Caldera, Terino spa from them. Everyone I have been in contact with either in the store or at my home have been friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Informative no pressure sales in the showroom from Joe. The day my spa was to be delivered there was a problem with the crane but they were able to find another and deliver it on time. Kevin was amazing with the install doing modifications to my electrical outlet and making a new outlet in the spa for the cable and leaving it user ready. I would highly recommend this company for all your spa needs. My new spa is amazing, I went from a 220 to 110 and thought I would be giving up power, I had also read that some of the 110s do not hold the heat. this is not so, I have all the power I need in the jets and a 2 hour session in it the temp only went down 1 degree. Love it :)Jean

Capital City Hot Tub should be the go to place for spas in Sacramento area! They are so dependable with the service i am impressed! Being a first time spa owner i did not know what to expect. Naturally i had to learn hot tub lingo👧. Cap City has been helpful to educate me,by the time i bought my first hot tub i felt knowledgeable enough to write the check. I definitely haved called the shop or Kevin many times for questions and service.I do believe in buying local and Capital City Hot Tub is a Sacramento tradtion.
