One of the employees was extremely rude. I walked in without a mask. He requested I put on a mask. I begrudgingly went back to the car and put on a mask.After I came back in the employee asked for my last name. I provided my last name. The employee then had the gall to snottily say “Was that so hard?”I responded aptly. The employee then walked off saying I won’t be getting my truck. And as soon as he left his desk (still in the main lobby) he removed his mask and walked in the back warehouse.He also said no manager was on-site at the time. I waited for the other employee on duty and he helped me and was very kind.Needless to say, I’m going to start looking into other rental truck companies from now on before going with UHaul.
This place is amazing. The gentleman who assisted in our drop off was super friendly and efficient. Their bathroom is exquisite with granite floors and walls. But the main reason for this review is the GM, Reannnon. She went way above and beyond and found something of value we somehow left under the passenger seat and mailed it back to us! Horrible! They charged my card $100 more than the rate they said that they would charge me and when I called and asked them if they could please return it Katie, the supervisor, said no and hung up on me. They are absolutely disgusting people.
Was offered a 9am reservation and know one is here. Line waiting outside and employees haven’t showed up. Very poor customer service. They waisted your personal time. An employee was throwing f bombs and complaining to us about another customer right next to us. Employee reprimanded a customer in front of us and the customer wasn’t even rude.
Absolute Garbage and waste of time energy and money. New management has completely ruin this once amazing store. Its a shame too, used to be the only uhaul worth going to.
I dont know where to begin, so that I will start at the end. Deplorable customer service and their showroom is dirty. When I asked for a receipt, I was told our printer doesnt work. I had an appointment for a hitch install, but within minutes of being there, there was no way anyone was touching my car. Would I recommend this location - NEVER.
Just stopped in for some shipping boxes and they have a very nice selection available. Take note though, I parked near the part of the building with the orange tower and the Uhaul sign, and the door is waaaay on the other side (west side) of the building. It looks like they are doing some construction work on the side with the orange tower.

On a Saturday morning at 10am there was NO ONE in the store for over 15min, and even with dozens of vehicles out front they claim there were non available. Avoid this place. They need to hire more people or figure it out, someone could have walked out with the register and no uhaul employee would be there to stop it.
I drove an hour to pick up a trailer that i was supposed to Haul to Oklahoma.Everything was set up and ready to go for me to just show up and pick it up, but they wasted my time saying that I should come and pick it up tomorrow, all parties involved know that we are leaving California tonight, so now I wasted two hours coming up here and having to drive back home tonight, what a waste of time, all thanks to the young lady at the front desk Who admitted she forgot that she was supposed to have it ready today.

We did Ubox rental and have had the most difficult time trying to coordinate pick up and delivery locations. Our Uboxes were brought to the wrong place and have spent hours on the phone trying to locate them and get customer service. Now we are ready to have them picked up and we cannot get through to anyone on the phone to schedule. I am not sure why this cant be done online but it has been so difficult to get in touch with anyone.
This is my first bad review for U-Haul ever. Unfortunately I had a terrible experience at the Natomas location. I personally came in to reserve the truck which went well. When I came back later that day to pick it up, they had unilaterally changed my reservation to a smaller truck without informing me. You can’t do that when you hire people to move things for you. One trip versus two trips due to using a smaller truck would have cost me $500 extra in labor. They had no empathy, did not offer a solution and made me drive to another U-Haul with only 45 minutes left before closing. I went to U-haul on Arden and had the opposite experience. Much more professional and customer service oriented. That’s the location I will be using from here on out.
I’ve loved the place for over a year and now they have a new (bald)woman in charge with lacking leadership. I watched in horror as she disrespected her workers and dismissed people over the phone hanging up then rambling about how they were getting charged whether they approved the charge or not she doesn’t care since the person was rude to her she’s taking the money from their card. I’ve never in almost fifty years on earth witnessed a supposed leader or boss behave this way in plain sight and ear shot of several customers and her co workers even looked offended and upset by her actions and appalling behavior. I will never use this location after what I witnessed and that is unfortunate it was very convenient to my needs. Uhual needs to get better upper management in place before they lose more businesses like they lost mine.

Didnt keep to their appointment, didnt notify us, and disrupted our whole day. Also was very rude on the phone - their manager sucks.
I didnt get the gentlemans name who helped us, but he went above and beyond to help us get our u-pods open because we had the wrong keys. Everyone else was very helpful as well.

Great place never new was here, Trevor was really nice and polite a great team member. Please treat the workers with respect especially if they are obviously low staff. One more thing make a reservation its not the workers fault if you cant get a truck because you didnt make a reservation. Will continue making reservations here :)
Lady was awesome here. She informed me I was banned and I had no idea that I was. Had to have my friend rent truck for me. It was really crazy. I am really shocked that because an employee was a rude and mean person to me last time I rented from u haul year ago, and I made bad review on her and called the cooperate on her that she could ban me from renting. Its crazy.

I have moved many times in my life. This has to be the best UHaul center I have been to. Wait time was minimal, easy checkin to get the truck and easy checkout of vehicle. The entrance is a little odd so maybe putting signs up would help, as I initially walked into the ware house area.
Update: Uhaul moved me here again for second pick up. This time a truck is here but no key code provided to get truck smh. This is after hours pick upAbsolutely the worst place to reserve a uhaul truck. They constantly change the reservation, this is my 3rd time it has happened. I have a small moving company and sometimes use uhaul trucks when I need extra.Whenever it is reserved at this location it seems it can never be straight forward. Business reserved for truck share 24/7 pick up at 9pm. Called today to verify pick up time and location was told all is well.. Got there at 9pm to pick up truck only to be told it has been changed to hand delivery on the website. No one at this location thought it would be wise to inform me.The uhaul location in Davis on Chiles road are the complete opposite and will call immediately if there are any changes.Note:customer service over the phone told me the reason why and was baffled as to why I was not told otherwise. Got $50 reservation guarantee for the problem. But the review still stands for this place

When I walked in, I knew the black woman was gonna be rude. She was very dry and smart mouthed. I had a reservation(and I came slightly early)but decided to go to another location
Poor rating not just for this location but UHaul customer service. Usually an ok Uhaul experience but this time I need to share this. I had 2 uboxes shipped to Antelope yet somehow they ended up in this location (ok, I thought, its a little further away but it will be fine). When I called to schedule pick up for the dates in my contract they said it was too busy and I would need to choose another day. When I came by to pick up the boxes turns out they were not ready for me and I sat around with a buddy and his truck for an hour before one box was ready. I got the boxes and brought them back only to find that I had be charged for another month of storage. Called customer service (#1) and was told the charges were a mistake and would disappear. Few days later charges still there, call (#2) and this time the rep told me the charges were a different amount than whats on my bank account, case opened and I should receive a call back in 24hrs. Now 2wks later charges still there, call (#3) this time the charges match and now I need to wait for a call back in 48-72hrs.The hassle involved in trying get a resolution is ridiculous.
This place was great. They have a fast check out and check in process for equipment and they went the extra mile to make sure I was ready to hit the road with the trailer that i rented. The right tail light blinker was an issue but they ensured to check and try to make it as safe as they could. They checked my fuses and wires harness to eliminate as many possibikities as they could but it turned out to be a very common issue. Thanks to the general Manager and the two gentlemen that helped i appreciate the extra mile you guys took and salute you for your professionalism. If i ever need rental items for a move i definitely will be going back to this place.
My husband and I moved to sacramento. We were so busy unpacking and returned the uhaul. I was looking all over for my wallet and could not find it anywhere. Robert called me and said I left my wallet in the uhaul and he had it at the store for me to pick up. I appreciate the honest service this man provided. everything in the wallet was left in there. great customer service.

When I got truck 1/4th fuel there said I can give same.but there charged extra.manager also checked photos and marked in paper 1/4th . charged extra 45$ for fuel. before taking truck in this place think twice.
Horrible they took money from me after not having a dolly in there they charged me for said she would take it off then she tried to add gas my uncle made her drive it to the front then she sees the gas is at 1/4 I never got my money back DO NOT GO HERE THEY WILL NEVER RETURN THE MONEY STILL SHOWS $100 hold when it was a $45 job
Love love love this place! Highly Recommend! We used it for Upods and to rent trailers for moving stuff all the time. The manager, Shaun, is great and really is helpful in getting what you need. They are great customer service and everyone is super professional.
Excellent service from Shane & beautiful lobby. Sounds weird but its true. The floors lol like an expensive hotel & the fireplace is gorgeous. Yes inside u-haul!!

We showed up at the requested time to pick up our uHaul and were told that our uHaul was at a different location. They sent us about 7 miles further from the original location. The second location was a junk yard in the middle of nowhere. We felt very unsafe. Upon reaching our second uHaul location, we found out that we had to download the uHaul app and and begin checking in process. This took 45 min because they have so many requests to make sure that the person picking up the uHaul is you. By the time I got the uHaul, it was 1:45 minutes after my original booking time. Meanwhile I had to pay 3 guys their wages. Lastly when I went to fill up the uHaul, the gas gage was not working properly. It took 3 minutes after turning the car on to show how full it was. Due to this problem, I ended up filling the tank to 3/4 full instead of 1/3. When I brought up my concerns to customer service, not only they were not apologetic, they wanted to offer me a $15 discount for my future rental. There is no way I will ever rent from uHaul in the future.

Reasonable UHaul service. With construction being conducted on the building, parking & traffic/customer congestion may be a slight problem at times.

Order in advance online! Its expensive to just show up because your girlfriend decided she doesnt want to live with you anymore and your couch wont fit in your car and you need a way to move it last minute.
