I’ve worked with MANY indoor and outdoor ranges over 31 years. My first time experience with Tritac was outstanding. Not only did the management accommodate our needs, but when also combined with their safety conscious, courteous, and professional staff, Tritac made for a smooth drama-free range experience. Kudos to Joseph and the staff. Highly recommend.

Took the Level 1 gun course and really enjoyed it!! James our instructor was excellent. Had tons of great information and was really supportive. The other staff was also incredibly helpful and kind. Would highly recommend this to anyone. Cant wait to take my next class!

Been a member a couple years, customer service is always outstanding.I did have a negative for me only experience today in that I could not use the range because someone rented it out. I didnt see this scheduled on the calendar, nor a sign posted on the door like they do when they have classes.One of the customers in the rental group did inform me on the way in and I did check in with the lady staffing the counter whom confirmed I would not be using the range today.I do highly recommend if a customer does rent out the entire range, that other customers have an opportunity to find out about that on your calendar before making a trip.

Such an amazing place for both new and experienced gunmen. The staff is very friendly and experienced in their craft. They are always willing to help and answer questions. The range is small, but clean. I like that they offer courses, as well as military discounts. Their lounge is a great place to make new friends and keep up to date on all the new firearm stuff. Took handgun safety 1 today and it was awesome! The instructor was very thorough and presented the material so us first timers could easily understand! I need some practice and then on to the next class!!

It has been about 30 years since I had a 9mm. Charles was very patient with my questions, answering each one easily, simply, and then demonstrated the ins and outs of the Glock 43x. I happily purchased this item and am looking forward to becoming extremely comfortable with it.

The staff is top-notch. Incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and easy to approach. The range perfectly fits my needs and is in a convenient location for city dwellers that can’t always find time to get to am out of town range. Prices are comparable and they often run great deals and giveaways. I’ve taken a class here as well, highly recommend the Home Defense course with James. They seem to take care of the customers really well.

Went with my sister last night and Sparrow was so helpful and knowledgeable. He stayed calm even when other customers weren’t the nicest to him. I can’t wait to come back and keep learning.

Just shot my first gun at the Beginner Handgun class they held. Everyone I came across working here is very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Even though I was definitely nervous at first, as I had zero firearms experience, the instructor knew what he was doing and did a great job of breaking down basic handgun safety and mechanics. I think that most of the anxiety I had around guns was not knowing how to operate one or how they work; learning how to hold one as well as disarm one safely took away a lot of the initial reservations I had, and James did a great job emphasizing safety during class. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that has little to no handgun experience, but would like to expand their knowledge, as they make the learning process safe and fun, in that order.

Today I shot for my first time ever. I was scared out of my mind. The people and the atmosphere was amazing very professional.

Staff was super friendly. I had been looking at buying a handgun for quite awhile now but didnt want to drop $500+ on a gun Ive never shot before. So, a buddy and I drove over after work to test some out. They didnt have any ammo for sale but were nice enough to let us buy some of their personal stock instead of going home which was super nice. The guys were informative and friendly. We went there on a weekday so it wasnt crowded either. Would recommend!

Fantastic group of people that ran the training class and the range. I would recommend anyone wanting to understand guns visit this range and take their training.Update: 11/3/2020 - took the 1.5 level training course and it was a blast! The drills in the class were something Ive not done for quite a while, but really helped get me back in the swing of things.

Bought my colt 1911 here at Tritac earlier this year great staff today helped me with a ghost connector for my Glock Sparrow and Jaime are great so is the rest of staff just don’t know all the names anytime I have a question first place I go to is Tritac also the range is great staff does a great job making sure people are safe and being safe recommend this place to everyone

A friend and I went shooting yesterday at Tritac. I’ve been here before a couple years ago. I always wondered about owning my own gun. The owner of the shop helped me answer all of my questions about being an owner of a firearm. Next thing you know I filed out my paperwork and well I walked with my new firearm the next day. The staff is really helpful I recommend this place...

Horrible experience and wont be coming back. The staff member in the wheelchair was very rude when I came in with my friends. I asked for the cheapest gun and he asked me if my life was worthless would not recommend 1/10

This range has three best staff in the area! The wife wasnt into shooting and didnt want to go to a range. She knew I loved to go and surprised me last year for Valentines day and took me here. With the excellent staff and rental weapons she was able to feel confident and try something new along with discovering a weapon she enjoyed. Weve been going here ever since! Great place to go!!

Awesome remodel after the fire. Great and vigilant staff. They are serious about teaching safety and awareness. There are 5 lanes and often fill up quick on Friday and Saturday. The rounds are a tad higher in price, but supporting a local business and the convenience of having most of what you need there is an added bonus. Be respectful, sweep your brass, remove your target and thank the staff, its not required, but they appreciate it.

Always fun to talk to about safety and also have classes available to take. Took my concealed carry glass. Learned a lot. Now I feel more comfortable about having my card.Will work to give you the best prices on everything you can imagine pertaining to guns.

My wife and I have been members for 2 years. We highly recommend Tritac Shooting Solutions as THE place to learn to shoot and/or practice your skills. We love Joseph and James who work there. They are very knowledgeable and helpful plus focus on safety which is so critical when handling a gun. My wife took a private class from James where she received instruction on proper gun handling and techniques which she practices on the range. It is a friendly atmosphere but strictly business about firearms safety. So if you want to learn to shoot and be able to defend yourself, this is definitely the place to come. It is also the only indoor range in Salem.

Had a great afternoon using the new sights. Great staff. Pleasant, informative, and polite. Great facilities. 6 lanes, and BUSY! That’s a good thing! It means they are doing it right! Put more rounds down range this afternoon than I have in years. Trigger time is always good. I’ll be back again!

This was a last minute stop on our rare date night adventures.We were the only shooters in the range and got to really enjoy focusing on best stance, hand control etc. Before we had kids (almost 5 years! 😬) We would go shooting regularly at an outdoor family range. Let’s just say I was RUSTY. Such a fun time. The two employees were great, they really engaged with us and were knowledgeable.Something I also wanna touch on something was their ability to be friendly yet direct with safety. Safety is the most important part of using a range, so being able to communicate that without being off putting or rudely harsh.We will definitely return!

Just completed the basic handgun class (level 1) with James. He was very patient and informative. He gave personal attention where needed and we able to shoot after instruction. I would recommend Tritac and the instruction to anyone wishing to learn.

As a 1st time gun owner tritac is a great low key place to put down a few rounds. I drive from beaverton so to me its been a blast

As a novice, person of color, and a (very) left-leaning gun owner, I can’t say enough about how rare it is to find a range and shop that makes me feel welcome. Tritac is that in spades. The shop is bright, clean, well designed, and organized so that even without the immediate and friendly service, I could find anything I might be looking for with ease. I never feel like this is a “good ol’ Boys” club. My wife always feels safe and included, not patronized like other shops we’ve tried. Yes, we pay just a little bit more, but to us it is well worth enjoying the experience. We have even incorporated shooting into our date nights; it really is just a pleasant place to be. If you are into guns, thinking about getting into guns, or just want to shoot occasionally, Tritac is your spot.

I was very nervous to shoot my new glock, as it had been 15 years since I last shot. Joseph helped me a GREAT deal. He observed my shooting and gave me pointers on stance, my aim, holding the gun more effectively for better control, and other helpful advice. My confidence has been boosted immensely. I just finished taking the level 1 handgun course here. It was my first time firing a gun of any kind. The instructors were both absolutely fantastic! I learned a lot and had a wonderful time. I purchased a single membership and practice 2-3x a week at Tritac. I enjoy shooting there because the range is indoor and heated and because the staff are so friendly and helpful. It really is the best range around!

Was my first time going to a range, since I normally go out into the woods to shoot, so naturally I looked around at some ranges and all of them would want to charge you like $5 per 50 rounds of outside ammo you brought in and had crazy prices for gun rentals.. This place though charges you a flat rate of $5 for ammo you bring in whether its 1 box or 100 boxes. The gun rentals are just as cheap! I will definitely be returning also partly because I am a HUGE gun enthusiast but had no where to go to shoot until now. Super friendly and knowledgeable the people are great. If you want a place to shoot and have fun, new or experienced shooters, THIS is the place you want to go!

The folks at Tritac are great. I have taken a Beginners handgun class and a Concealed Carry Handgun class there. They have great facilities-will be even better once the remodel is finished. The employees are friendly, informed and they are welcoming of gun newbies as well as seasoned veterans. They are also Veteran Friendly which I appreciate. I have also purchased several handguns there and their prices are fair. The staff has always been professional and willing to explain the pros and cons of a given handgun, long gun brand/platform. Its great to have an indoor range in Salem.

I took the Handgun Safety Level 1 class - it was very well done. Organized with a great deal of information packed in a single evening - but not so much as to be overwhelming. Very female friendly and instructors Vinny and Erik are very patient, even with people who have never handled a firearm. Highly recommend this class.

Excellent customer service. Staff is friendly, professional and happy to spend time with me as the customer.Outside ammunition is permissable with caveats such as no reloads, exotics or hot cartridges. The target ammunition I have purchased from TriTac is in line with what I can get at Bi-Mart.The live range itself is not large in terms of lanes however I have have never had a wait as a walk in on weekdays after work.I will happily recommend this establishment for any person looking for a standard indoor range.

I was visiting from out of town for business. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The prices were great. The rentable firearm selection was good. They have a very clean facility. Overall a great experience. I will definitely visit again in the future.

Great place. This place is filled with Humble and knowledgeable trainers and employees.A few surprises I didnt expect. Along with classes/range time they sell optics and the weapons themselves (both on consignment and new). Best of all They also can help with suppressor/silencer purchases and paperwork.

Good range but staff treat you like an insurgent. One of the staff actually told my son that he thought i wanted to take the room temperature challenge. Gun ranges are dangerous places but many of these staffers need to lighten up!

I would not recommend this place at all ! Especially for new shooters. If you accidentally hit the ceiling with a bullet a employee will yell at you to never do it again or you will be kicked out. I loved this place years ago but now it’s horrible. I am very mad I spent my money there to shoot less than 30 minutes. The employee’s comment to me made me not want to shoot in fear of being kicked out ! I will be taking my business elsewhere! 😡

Very impressed with customer service. Great group of guys working there. A friend of mine brought in his new AR15 and they showed him how to set it up and shoot it in. He will be driving from West Linn to Tritac just to shoot.

My wife took me here 2 weeks ago, and the staff their have a attitude. I asked simple questions, and got short answers, in all my life I have never gotten such a bad vibe. The next problem is that they dont have any regard for safety and my wife asked if we can leave because she didnt feel safe. in my recommendation, we will never shoot here again. as I see in the reviews, some other people have had the same problems.they also overcharge on ammo, 50% markup.but just my opinion.good day sirs and misses

In late August 2017 I took a Level I class from Eric and Vinny, my first time at TriTac. I could not have been happier with the contents of the class. Eric and Vinny are SUPERB instructors--very knowledgeable, very thorough, and very patient. The facility overall is very professional, including the staff. I highly recommend TriTac!

Very low prices and friendly staff. They also have some pretty cool stuff if you are looking to rent.

The 20 yd range is poorly lit and overly expensive. You now can’t even bring in your own paper regulation targets but have to buy theirs (none too cheap). The hour + targets cost me about $40. Add the cost of ammo . . . well, you get the picture.
