Cant go wrong with Salems home Depot. They have what you need. Tough to find employees for questions though

Had to get a sheet of Sheetrock and was helped quickly and helped load on to cart. Friendly service and cashiers are great as well. Purchased one sync under cabinet lighting they are great synced nicely and installed easily!

Went into this Home Depot today and left quickly when I realized that about 1/3 of the customers were not wearing mask as recently mandated by Oregon. Staff on hand was making no effort to prevent unmasked customers from entering the store. I brought the issue up to a few employees who just shrugged and moved off. Wont be shopping there any more until the manager starts enforcing state law.

This store is amazing and I could spend an entire check here!!!! They have variety, good prices and both my husband and I can enjoy this place together!!! And they carry my favorite glass cleaner, dish soap, laundry soap and ZEP is the best carpet shampoo! Bought hubby the work bench below during special buy, great deal!!

I received a 15% discount card in the mail for Home Depot. The timing was great, I was about to order a surround for our fireplace. We went to the Customer Service desk to order, but were told the discount didnt apply to special orders. Megan recognized our frustration and went out of her way to assist to do a work around to get us a discount. After 2 months of reno work on our home, it was such a breath of fresh air to have someone care, willing to help & not just take our money. Thank you Megan, cant wait to see our fireplace finished! Home Depot, hire more Megans - youll see more of a dying breed, HAPPY customers!

For the most part it was a pleasant experience.We returned a pallet for a refund and got our shopping items but when it came time to have someone retrieve the pallet from my car we got such a poor response that I called the store and spoke with the manager on duty who promptly sent someone out to get it. That was very much appreciated.

Always fun to go to this store. Always end up buying things I didnt come for but will use someday. ;) tools.

I bought a homelite electric chainsaw after the ice storm last year and it quit working. I dont have tha receipt or box and could not remember if I had bought the protection plan so I called because I paid for it on my home depot credit card spoke to a lady that said I hadnt but to bring it in to see what they could do so I drove a half hour into town only to be belittled by some dosh at the door guess I will drive back now thanks home depot!!!!!!!

Visited this location on 8/29/21. Needed some assistance with sheet rock. Was told someone would be right over. No one ever came. Found what I needed and went to check out. No checkstands open. Was told to use self check out. Asked if someone could help me load sheet rock into my truck. Was told there was no one available. The only thing they were happy to do was take my money. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I have had the worst experience with my appliance order and absolutely no compassion or urgency from the customer service specialist, store manager, and appliance workers. Doing my third order to try to get my washer here that they ordered incorrectly. I would rather they take the dryer back and take my business elsewhere but of course there is no returns on appliances. Shop local or at Lowe’s.

We showed up for a will call order the associates brought out the wrong brick my husband said it was the wrong brick. The associates argued and said it was the correct brick. Then disappeared till and hr later my husband just pulled the correct brick off the shelf and left. While my husband loaded up the brick two other associates stood there with a client chatting about the trager smoker he just purchased didnt offer to help loaded the brick and chatted what are they getting paid for being for working or talking?

Helpful staff and of course a very good selection of building products. Always fun to look through this place for renovation options.

Home depot acts like there pro veteran. On multiple occasions they have denied my veterans ID. Im a 2 time combat vet with disabilities. I have an oregon drivers licenses that says veteran. I showed tge dmv my dd214 to get all my benefits and licenses plates. On multiple occasions home depot flat out denied me the veterans discount. Lowes has always gone above and beyond to honor vets and never denied any for of id. They even give my wife my discount if I cant make it to town. I dont understand why home depot insist on having such rigorous standards

They have the best selection and lowest prices compared to their competitor and some good sales help. I do not buy Milwaukee power tools there as i can find way better deals on Ebay. Beware of returns on cash back several times i caught employees short changing me a lot. Apparently they can not count money.

Staff friendliness and service have improved worlds over the last few years since I was there last. Altogether a great experience.

While loading some metal roofing on a cart I cut my finger. It wasn’t a big deal but I did need to wrap a tissue around my finger. The checkout lady noticed and got a band aid for me. It was much appreciated.

They are likely to have what you need, but should try having comparable items at lower prices. Also, I realize not every employee they hire will be a home improvement expert. But, if you work there you should at least know who is and/ or where it might be.

Basic supply store, the best part is the staff, they know their stuff.

The sales staff were very quick to offer help and answer questions. In the past that was horribly lacking ! Nice to see the service has gotten way better. Ive spent thousands there since buying my house in 2004, its about time they show appreciation for their customers who keep them employed. GREAT JOB PEOPLE !!!

The associates are very helpful but just inattentive enough that skipping the checkout is easy. Their Loss Prevention protocols are weak, as well. Keep your shopping under $750 a trip and you are golden.

They have many ways to accomplish any mission everyone it trained or experienced in giving great ideas.

They must be short-handed. Had to wait 15 minutes for help getting large bags of bark, but a very nice young man helped me load it all. 😊

Overall we enjoy shopping here, but the advice we’ve gotten has been hit and miss. I’m relatively new to home maintenance projects and a couple of times got extremely helpful information, but twice I had someone give me completely wrong information on a deck project. I’d always rather someone just say they don’t know! Now I go with research already done and it works out ok.

Theres so much to look at. I could spend hours in this store. We went there to look at a tool box. Nice box at a fair price 🔧 🧰 The poor kid helped me load heavy as$ box into the back of my sister in laws Hyundai and didnt complain at all!

We were not happy with the customer service. They called someone to help us with a heavy door, which I had to walk from the back of the store back up to the front, just to ask for help as there were no employees anywhere in my area. When the employee got to customer service, he said did you pay yet? I said no we need help to get it up here, he just turned around and walked away, headed to another customer. Mind you it was 7:30 P.M. and the store was not busy. Happy with the product but definitely not with the customer service. You should be ashamed of yourself, I am disabled and have to use a walker. Disgusting attitude. Its buisness from new and repeat customers that help you keep your job.

Very good look on line and they tell you where in the store an what you want so no wasted time if you dont want to wonder around

Went to lowes looking for a grill and ended up at home depot, their selection is pretty large. It was nice to see multiple of each grill assembled and on the floor.

Went in yesterday too pick up dinner some building supplies, they had one item out of 3 that I needed... But when I went to an associate in the lumber for assistance (had lumber question) he was rude and just appeared to be an unhappy person... If you dont like working with the public maybe you need to find other work.

Really nice garden department worker tried to help me find the specific weed puller I wanted ..a manual puller with certain handle n blade type. They dont have it, but the employee was great to talk with.

Love to be able to walk over to the home depot when i am in need of something for my projects.Super nice workers who make sure to provide you the best customer service.

Have everything I need. Self service checkout is great. I do wonder why there are 3-5 employees standing around doing what?

We ordered brand new riding lawn mower and it was delivered damaged and without keys. The driver had already closed our account as he was leaving our driveway so he told us to call customer service and let them know. After waiting an hour and no one calling us back we called again only to be told we would have to pay a fee to have a new one delivered! Throughout the day the process finally was complete and a new one was to be delivered today (without a fee). Welp, no. They are too busy and the truck is too full. Customer service is really lacking at this store. Either deliver a product that doesnt have to be replaced or make it right on time when it is wrong. We wish we would have purchased elsewhere.

Id give it zero stars if I could. The store, not so much the problem, but do NOT ever rent a tool from them. They will steal money from you. I rented a paint sprayer, brought it back cleaner than I got it, and they came up with some BS to still charge me a cleaning fee. I will never step a foot back into this store, solely based on the tool rental department alone. I will gladly go out of my way to another store.

Not only was this place horribly filthy not only were their employees standing around talking to other employees not only was everything impossible to find not only was the same type of thing impossible to different areas but I actually had the unfortunate ability to witness somebody falling on something that was left in the middle of the floor by a worker also I moved a Box to a safe place that was folded and flat on the ground that if I was looking at the shelf and not at the ground I could have stepped on it and slipped and fell is well this place needs a major adjustment in leadership And teamwork

I have been in the process of buying some carpet at Home Depot and I do want to say that the associates there, were very helpful and kind. But I canceled my order due to the fact that they told me, I had to buy a full roll of carpet pad, when I just needed a small amount. When I asked how much that would be, it was going to cost me, more than the cost of the carpet itself. This is ridiculous, I have spent thousands of dollars at Home Depot over the years and for them not to give me the exact amount that was required is a scam, especially after I paid $50 to have the room that I needed carpeted measured, by them. Be aware!

Home depot in Oregon are the same everywhere, really good customer service, if you see a person with the orange home depot vest, they will happily help you, I have being in Oregon for the last nine years, and not a single bad experience. California was one good experience every teen visits.

Who cant get lost in all the glory home depot has to offer. I honestly could get lost amongst the numerous aisles and dream of the endless possibilities. Great staff.

I have been shopping at THE HOME DEPOT for many years and have been treated with the utmost respect and the ladys and gentlemen staff helped me make the right decision on the merchandise I went to purchase.

I prefer to get my lumber here because they will perform some basic cuts for you so it is easier to load into or onto your vehicle. Some other places do not cut your lumber for you (at least not anymore).

I always by my hand torch propane tanks n butane bottles I love benzomatic products. Superior in gases

Its an okay home depot store as far as those go. But plant selection is kinda limited for my liking.

The employees are always helpful at this Home Depot, I enjoy shopping here. Usually takes about 30 seconds to find someone if I need help finding something. Not quite the amount of help youd get from Ace, but for a store this size its impressive. If youre the type that likes to search things out themselves, having the Home Depot app open while shopping makes it easy to find any item in the store. Just type in the product and it tells you the aisle and bay its on, pretty slick.

Staff doesnt even agree. Had a cashier and an employee get into an argument at the register over something I bought. Ended up not getting it and going somewhere else. Waste of time.

Paid $50 for a carpet measurement, to compare vs a local store, thinking lower quality carpet from home depot and free install should be cheaper. WRONG, was $260 more than the local store, and based on the measurements about 50 sq feet in excess carpet. Wont waste my time with them again on any work they do... Lowes did the same thing on my living room carpet. 😒
