The Renegade that I test drove was nice and the salesperson was friendly, but unfortunately, you have to be prepared for the typical sales tactics here that most of us dread. For example, if you accidentally mention anything about the price per month that you need to stay within, they will miraculously manage to meet your monthly price - which gets you all excited until you realize that theyre spreading those payments out for 7 years. Also, if you decide that wont work for you and you try to leave, they will stop you on your way out and they even called me on my drive home, to try to get me to return. But they didnt want to tell me what their new great offer was until I returned. When I refused to drive back if they didnt give me the details, they finally admitted that their offer was not what I said I wanted to pay. I am so glad I didnt drive all the way back in. If you like being manipulated and tricked, this is your place!
I had a horrible experience here. I purchased a 2021 Jeep Renegade. On the lot there was a big scratch across the driver side paneling and a scrape on the center console. I assumed that they would fix the damage while it was being detailed. NOPE. I got it home and realized they had tried to hide the damage under a layer of chemicals. I wrote a review in regards to the salesperson with this information, which triggered her to call me. So she set me up to have the service manager review and order parts. I met with the service manager who wrote up a parts order but never heard from them. A month went by and I called them. They stated they are still waiting on the parts. Then I had an issue (my fault this time) with my drivers side belt buckle clip. I called to get a quote on cost and it took three of the parts employees to try to find cost and instructions on the new belt buckle installation and eventually wasnt able to get a quote, but reassured that they would call me back. They never did! Then around 4 months my drivers side window started rattling, but I knew there was no way I would get help from this dealership. Needless to say, I hated my experience with Roberson, and hated my car. Five months into having my Jeep I traded it in to get a Subaru. Save yourself some time and get a better car elsewhere!
We went into Salem to get a few things and decided to stop in and look at the Jeep trucks. My husband really likes the Gladiator. Nathan was very quick to greet us and ask if we had any questions. He walked around for a little and was so knowledgeable about every Jeep they talked about. He was energetic and seem to love what he does. NATHAN is the reason we stayed and came home with a Jeep Gladiator truck. He never pushed anything on us. In fact we waited around for him to ask him a few more questions. If you are in need of a Jeep, Roberson in Salem,OR is the place to go and Nathan is the salesmen you need to talk to! Great place to buy a car from. I am from out of state, we found the Jeep we wanted at Roberson Motors, contacted them and it was a very quick and easy deal to get completed. The Salesman was great and kept us up to date on the process including shipping the Jeep to us across the country. The office staff was excellent and responsive and helped to get everything necessary for us to register the Jeep. We are very pleased and happy with our new 2021 Wrangler.

Called and left messages never got a call back guess my car wasnt worth their time.Wont be going back. Will pay to have it towed elsewhere next time
I went online and built and priced a new jeep. then put in my trade in, they sent me an email giving me a price for my car and a price for there car. i then went to dealership to get all in writing. well they offered me about 20% less for my trade and said car i was ordering would cost several thousand more. all together it added up to 10 grand difference. I would say dont trust these people and go to different dealership..
Ive been coming to Robersons to get my vehicle serviced for about 5 years or maybe more. I dont care what type of vehicle I have I will always come get it serviced here. The wonderful customer service I get surpasses anyone else. Plus Sam rocks! I find it easy to make an appointment and I know they do a thorough inspection of my car each time. I recommend always dropping your car off and pick it up later to ensure they do not feel rushed to inspect your car, even if just for an oil change. I just feel like that is the right thing to do.

The service was good the lot attendant was very punctual with informing us about the jeep we were looking at. Very good demeanor answered all the questions we were asking.
We took our 2005 jeep wrangler in to get a seat belt replaced and a service. When we went to pick it up we not only got a used and frayed seat belt. We also got our stereo stolen and our soft top cut in three places. Roberson refused to replace anything that was damaged let alone replace our stereo. We had to claim it on our insurance. Their service department doesnt even deserve 1 star.
Great staff and worked well with us to get into the right vehicle. We didn’t get what vehicle we wanted but josh set it up perfect for us to come in and then molly knocked it out of the park. Their professionalism and willingness to listen and work through scenarios to get us the best deal created the best car buying experience from a dealership we have ever experienced all the way down to the financing lady who was just as awesome. Front and rear numbers are both crooked, wheel well plastics never got attached. The camera they replaced is nowhere near the quality of the camera that was there before my accident. Those are the only things they replaced and they didn’t get any of them right. I contacted them several times and eventually had to just show up there.They acted like they were going to fix the issues. Here I am several weeks later and they have not even contacted me. I don’t think the service at Roberson could get any worse.

I will give the service department a 2 star rating only because of the front office people on the front lines.Matt and the rest of the front desk people were very helpful and treated us like we mattered.We bought a brand new 2021 Chrysler 300S. We started having issues with it right out of the gate. So we took it back to them on 3 separate occasions, and finally they did find that there was something wrong.Keep in mind we live in Albany and I had to take time off of work to deal with this issue.They replaced the air intake manifold and when we got the car back none of the vacuum hoses were put back into the clamps to hold them like they were supposed to be.They took it back and fixed it.So we took the car on a mini vacation for a few days and the car started to idle rough and had a horrible knock.We took it back and they looked into it again.They had our car for a few days and we heard nothing from them. I called and they said that the car was in the stall running but there was no technician around and they would find him and call me right back.This was before noon. I had to call them back at 4 p.m. when I got off of work to find out they still couldnt determine what was wrong and that the technician was trying to find the knocking noise with a stethoscope. I asked why no one called be back and I was told they did. They had not, they said they must have written my number down wrong. They do have my number in the system since we did purchase our car there and they had worked on it previously.I brought this to the service managers attention and was asked if I expected to have them call me everyday, even if there was nothing new to report and I said absolutely yes......They did as they said, they did call me everyday.They got a hold of Chrysler and ended up having to replace the engine.We are not upset that the engine needed replaced, we know stuff happens.The engine was almost 3 weeks out and the new intake manifold had to be ordered again as they wanted to replace it as well.I had emailed the service manager to find out about being compensated for the loss of a month or more of our Sirius radio and of the loss of a month or more of our warranty.The service manager replied that he doesnt think anything can be reset or done about it.The next morning he confirmed nothing was going to be done for us and he sent me a phone number to call Chrysler.This is unacceptable, we are the consumer and purchased a vehicle from Roberson and they should be fighting to get us compensated for our frustration, time off work, time we didnt have our vehicle, etc, etc.So at this point I am beyond frustrated and went to the Sales manager to explain our situation.He wrote everything down, gave me the General Manager email address which the Service Manager said he couldnt do.I heard back from the Service manager later that day saying that they had a meeting with the General Manager, Sales Manager to discuss. They agreed to compensate us for the loss of the warranty, Sirius radio, and the fact we didnt have our car.They did provide a loaner during this time which we appreciated.We would absolutely buy another car from Roberson, but I will not be taking our car to the service department.
I had a really positive car buying experience at Roberson motors. Jess the salesman was pleasant and not pushy in the slightest. Joe the manager was very knowledgeable and took the time to address some of my questions. I was done and driving home in a reasonable time largely in part because Joe was not afraid to get out of the office and help Jacob the lot attendant prep and detail my truck in the miserable cold weather. We had been searching for a new or used minivan with low miles and the right payments. We had not had much luck at the three other dealerships we visited. Finally we saw a 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan with only 20k miles on it, for a price we could actually afford! Barely.As it turned out, with our limited financial situation, the payments were barely affordable. And the lenders were barely accepting us. If it weren’t for the hard work, initiative, and attentiveness of Joe, one of our salesmen, we might not have had the opportunity to have a great lender accept us, with lower payments and interest rates that we desperately needed in order to afford this vehicle. Not only that, but we managed to now get an extended warranty and gap insurance while still keeping lower payments than what they had been with the first lender.We are busy people, and purchasing a vehicle was not on our radar yet. Not only that but we had so very little time to get the transaction done before we had to pick up kids and get home (20 miles away). If it weren’t for Scott, Joe, and Pete doing their best to get things done quickly and efficiently, we may not have had time to complete the transaction.Finally, Im a frugal woman. And my mama always taught me to make sure to ask dealerships for any complimentary services they can add to your purchase; in this case a full tank of gas upon departure. After a previous dealership slighted me on my promised tank of gas, I was delighted that all three employees that helped us made certain somebody filled that tank before we left. It just makes a difference in how you feel when you leave the dealership.Scott, Joe, and Pete did a fantastic job making this purchase as painless as possible, and not allowing us to get too discouraged when things with financing got tough. Thank you gentleman, it was fantastic working with you.
Ive been purchasing from Roberson for more than 20 years and have always had a fantastic experience with the sales and service departments. They do their best for me every time. No person or business is perfect and you can tell the mark of a quality business by how well they handle the things that dont go right. Roberson has always done their best to make it right and I appreciate it. It is why I will never go anywhere else.

Purchased a dodge ram truck from them, while signing papers I noticed they had my last name as my soon to be married last name. I told them Im not married yet, my name is still my maiden name. They reassured me that wasnt an issue. Then shocker, it was an issue. Had to take time off work to go back in and resign everything. So we got off to a bad start. Then my husband went in for an oil change and they convinced him he needed to buy the oil changes in advance so he paid for 3. He got the oil changed twice and we traded in the truck for something bigger. Now they wont honor the 3rd oil change on the new dodge ram truck or give a refund.Its nearly impossible to schedule warranty work with them in a timely manner.Overall horrible service. Would never recommend or buy another vehicle from them and would absolutely never fall for their oil change scam unless you know FOR SURE you arent getting rid of your vehicles.

These guys, specifically Loring went above and beyond to get me hooked up with the oem roof rack, rails, and tow hitch. Loring helped me from the start, 1st via phone, then email as it became apparent my parts would be backordered due to the pandemic. He stayed in touch, letting me know when each piece got there. When everything arrived the parts were promptly installed. In addition, they were flexible with my schedule. Loring, in my opinion, went above and beyond to give world class service throughout the entire process. On top of having great service, the work quality was fantastic. I didnt get the name of the tech responsible or I would say who.

My Fiance and I have been looking for a 2016-2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland for a few months. Weve made cash offers and have been ready to buy with a set budget and NO ONE has worked with us. On February 27th, I saw the PERFECT 2017 Grand Cherokee Overland at Roberson in Salem. We are located up in Portland and I didnt want to make the drive to haggle. I called the dealership, spoke with Josh Clark and told him my situation. Here is our budget. Well pay in full with Cashiers check. We can pick it up today or tomorrow. Can you make this happen? Immediately, he said YES. He didnt waste my time and try to get me to the lot to negotiate. Other dealerships turned us away from shockingly similar deals and deals in which theyd have made out better! We feel so lucky right now.When we arrived to Roberson, Nate Nesbitt showed us ALL the bells and whistles on this cherry ride. Nate is Jeep expert. No doubt about it. From the adjustable suspension and self-parking to remote start - he showed us the works and made my fiance and I feel comfortable in the nicest car weve ever driven. Everything we agreed upon was in place - no last minute changes to the pricing. The only added cost was Multnomah County Taxes. +$50.All things considered - the Josh Clark/Nate Nesbitt duo was great. This place has decent cars but the staff hounds you, for days after youve been there. I even told the lady helping me that I dont appreciate aggressive sales staff and shes called from different phone numbers because Ive blocked the other ones. So annoying and not what a consumer wants when it comes to service. Wont be back.
We traded in a jeep wrangler that was a year old that had been in a wreck but it was fixed when traded in. Roberson put our old jeep up for sale saying it had a clean carfax with no accidents. Not an honest ad at all! I was shocked to see it say point blank that, that jeep hadnt been in a wreck and was free and clear!!! When we traded jeep in we signed paperwork saying it had been in a wreck and was repaired! Would never do business with this company again after they werent honest to the next owners of jeep!!! We also werent thrilled with our customer service. Never felt taken care, felt more like a number to them. Do your homework if you buy a used car from them. Thanks

I bought a 2013 cts about a year ago, I also purchased a extended warranty with the vehicle which I have not had to use until recently. The vehicle needed the timing chains done and the warranty company was declining repairs, I went through three managers and they would still not approve my claim so I called the dealership and informed them of my situation. They handled it from there and got my car repaired and back on the road. I would like to thank Evan Lehman, Matt Stoner, and Maggie for all their help, they went above and beyond to make sure the customer was happy, being in the industry I know that the things you do are not always appreciated but I am truly grateful for your help. Friendly staff that did not smother me/pressure me. They permitted me to look around and they were always ready to answer my questions. Their vehicles all tend to be premium ones. Great place to go when you want to see a variety of reeeaaly nice vehicles. My favorite was their 4x6 diesel Chevy pickup. The truck has already been lifted, and even the headlights are LED for durability. Awesome!
I had very specific needs for the car I wanted to purchase. April worked tirelessly showing me one vehicle after another to find the perfect car for me. After that, she and her manager put in real effort with my bank to get the price I could afford. All the paperwork was done by the dealership and I didnt have to do anything except sign documents. The trade-in value was fair, too. The whole experience was handled with professionalism and expertise.

Dropped my car off the day after Christmas to be told it would be a week or so before my car was able to be looked at. I finally got a call that I was still in line to be looked at a week and a half later. I called again, after no follow up and was told that there was 1 car ahead of me and should be done that week. This was Tuesday. I called Saturday to check the status and there was still 1 car ahead of me. I called today, Monday and was told there was now 3 to 4 cars ahead of me and my car STILL hadnt even been diagnosed. I had to call my regular auto mechanic to see if it was in his scope of repair, and he said it would be and that he could at the very least look at it today, the same day. I had to tow my car from Roberson to a NEW MECHANIC because I was tired of the excuses and being strung along. I will never go to Roberson Salem ever again. I need my car to commute to work and I had to schedule with my boss for other arrangements and lose out on pay. Being without my car for over two weeks with as little as an update call is unacceptable. Who knows how long I would have to have waited for the work to be completed after a diagnosis was made. Unless you have an appointment, avoid Roberson Salem at all costs. the joke is their earliest appointment is 2 or 3 weeks out.
Brian and Matt in the service department were so great to work with. Friendly, knowledgeable and timely responses. This is one of the best experiences I have had with a dealership ever. I came in frustrated with another dealer who had been working on my car for 3 months and had still not fixed the problem. Robersons had my car diagnosed within 2 hours and had it fixed 2 days later. Every issue I went in with has been fixed and I could not be happier. I will for sure do business here again. Thank you for being so courteous!!!

After deciding it was the vehicle we were looking for, the purchasing experience couldnt have been easier.
This is our families first purchase from a dealership, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The floor sales staff (April and John) were the stars of the show, very friendly and straightforward, not at all pushy, and exceptionally accommodating of our young toddler during the entire process. Negotiations felt as transparent as I dared hope, and we left with our new-to-us purchase feeling that they really did want our business and were willing to work with us to make sure they got it. John was quick to return phone calls with additional questions after the sale, which really demonstrated to us that they care about their customers after the sale as well. I’ll definitely return when I’m ready to upgrade down the road, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to any of my friends in the market for a new vehicle!

I cant thank him enough for making this such a smooth, easy & pleasant purchase. In addition the store is very nice and comfortable, the other staff that assisted were all accommodating friendly and there was zero pressure. I highly recommend Roberson!
I would leave zero stars if that was an option. This place is horrible. I brought my van here to get a new key because they quoted me 150$ less then any other place and because they told me it would take an hour or less. Once I had my van towed here I find out it will actually be 100$ more and after waiting over 2 hours my van is stilll not done. I will never do business with them again and I will make sure anyone I know that needs services they provide does not come here and find someone else. Do not believe what they say do not believe here quotes!
I bought my first ever Jeep from Molly, having a time crunch and on a budget I was able to get a 2019 Cherokee and I couldn’t be more happy. Molly is amazing! She’s not the typical car sales person, she went out of her way to make sure I was taken care of and made buying my first car well worth my time. I went to Roberson Motors a few weeks ago. I was not planning on purchasing a vehicle yet I just wanted to start looking. Molly greeted us right when he pulled up and guided us through the whole process. She was AMAZING! She listened, she did not push me at all and she took the time to answer all of my questions. I did end up leaving with a vehicle and it is the perfect one for me! I would strongly suggest going here when looking for a vehicle! The whole teem was great! I will definitely return and will be asking for Molly if I ever need another car in the future.
I worked with James when buying my 2017 Jeep Wrangler. I was very blinded going into this purchase because I live all the way in DC- and not a fan of flying. James was exceptional to work with. Nathan Nesbitt is the man to see, but be careful about the accounts/ loan manager. After agreeing to terms and payment, a little script on the contract raised our payments substantially more than we expected and it was NEVER mentioned during our conversation. Carefully read the entire contract before you sign it.

Got a great deal on a used truck this weekend. Shout out to April on the sales team for sticking with me in a non-pushy way. That is always appreciated, and thanks to Maggie for her help with all the paperwork and a huge thanks to Joe the sales manager. He brought the human experience into car buying and showed genuine care beyond just getting a closed deal. Mr. John Freeman is the reason we walked through the door and the reason we decided to buy from Roberson Motors. Dont get me wrong, its the only dealership Ive ever walked into and out of without having to speak under my breath to my wife on the way out the door. Everyone there does a great job of putting the customer first, but John is over the top excellent at making you feel like a family member.

Ive had work on my other.car done here and they know exactly what they are doing. I am enjoying a cup of coffee from their Starbucks coffee counter at the moment as in the picture .These people are the nicest, most professional and helpful of all the people Ive dealt with for repair work. I enjoy coming here because they get the job done right. The service desk rep is one of my favorite people ever .
