Beautiful building and nice people. While they changed our brakes, we were able to sit in a pretty showroom with plenty of choices of coffee and other drinks and snacks to keep us satisfied while we waited which was actually done a little faster than I had feared. Very expensive service work prices but otherwise happy with them and the experience.

My experience today with Capital Subaru was thoroughly satisfying. At 10 AM there was no wait and the service writer was pleasant, efficient, and knowledgeable. Waiting in the customer lounge was nicer than most high-end hotels I have ever visited. A selection of comfortable seating styles was available along with an assortment of coffee and a generous selection of snacks. The oil change and inspection was completed in about a half-hour. Retrieval from the carwash took a little longer than expected, but the service writer kept me advised. I will not hesitate to use this dealer in the future.

I am so happy with all my experiences at Capitol Subaru. I have my car serviced and repaired (when needed) by them. I can trust their service and the work performed, I go no where else. The staff are great, they always explain what needs to be done and they accommodate my need to get back to work in a timely manner. My Outback is the most favorite car I have ever owned in over 50 years of owing cars and Capitol Subaru makes the experience even better.

I took my vehicle in for a factory recall after I asked the cashiers about the recall. I went alone to check on my vehicle and found new small scrapes on my vehicle that Weren’t there when I dropped it off. After talking to service person who helped me and manager they said they will check cameras and let me know but I never got a call back. I also had to call them to ask them when my car was ready took nearly all day to finish a recall. Usually a recall takes 3 hours this took 8 hours. Likely will not be returning here for service especially with their bad customer service.

Capitol Subaru makes maintenance so easy. I can almost pretend I know what Im doing. The team is pleasant and ready to address any concerns that might arrive. Thank you for being my way on the Parkway.

Was told oil changes were covered through warranty but they only honored first 3. Have issues with service remembering why we’re there and a service mgr with a terrible attitude. Sales manager straight lied about warranty just to get me in. Capitol will never see my $ again. Going to Wiksonville where the professionals live. No more of this kindergarten car sales mentality.

The number one thing I noticed was they take the time to make sure you understand the whole process. We pulled in after 8 pm and bought a car. Our 2014 Subaru outback had to have another transmission. The previous one was replaced by Capitol Subaru 18 months ago. Less than 20K miles were on the new transmission before it had to be replaced. Capitol Subaru replaced this once again under warranty. I was grateful.I had Jason A. as my lead technician and communicator. He helped me very much. First time buying a car and had a great experience! Grant and Erik where the two people who helped me find the right car for me and give me all the detail and options available with it, while still being personable! I had to wait for a week to make sure the car was completely ready and Grant texted me pictures and update the whole time keep me informed which I loved! Definitely would go back to Capitol Subaru if I need a car in the future and will for sure tell friends and family that Grant and Erik are the greatest!

Set an appt to bring my car in at 7AM to fix the Drivers Side Window which is out of the track. Traveled in from Independence (with no window), and no one was at the dealership at 7AM - called the service number and it rang and rang with no answer. When I set the appointment the week prior, I confirmed I could drop my car off at 7 and that Id need a loaner.No one attempted to contact me, so at 9:15, I called and the gal said Oh, did you go to the new service location? Ive been taking my car to Capital Subaru for years, but no one said the service area had been moved AND there is no sign on the old service area window. The old service area was lit, so why would I think to take it anywhere else and how would I know there is a new service area? In addition, when I called after 7, no one answered the service phone.To top it all off, I asked (because Ive already taken off of work to drop it off today) if they had a service that could pick up my car and they do not. AND, asked if they had a shuttle to return me to my home in Independence if I do drop it off and they do not have a loaner - was advised they could take me anywhere in the Salem area, but the shuttle does not go to Independence.Long story short, I wasted an hour round trip, my window is still not fixed, now I have to take another trip on Thursday AND arrange for my own ride, meaning my husband has to go as well.The lady who rescheduled my appointment was very kind and apologized, however, this all could have been avoided if (a) the person I scheduled my original appointment with had MENTIONED there was a new service location, and (b) if there were a large sign on the old service area window that said looking for the service area? Weve moved - its now located here:A little COMMUNICATION goes a long way.

I went to a different Subaru dealership before making the truck down to Salem and guess what? DAN made it so worth it. I got the 2020 Impreza in the red I wanted along with the sport trim! I literally have no regrets; it was a great hour down there with some Coffee and my best friend/ partner jamming along.Dudes and Queens - Dan, Chris, and their team came across a few obstacles, as I’m a first time Financer with good but limited credit history, and they put in 150% effort to make this happen for me.This guy made me feel at home in a situation I was brand new to, and I cannot wait to drive down there for services because I felt so welcomed and appreciated here. Great experience. I worked with Jerry and he was great. I only gave it a because I had to check on the car after waiting 2 hours. Then they told me it would be delayed longer. Nothing Jerry could have done, my only critique would, when they know it is delayed they tell the service rep, in this case Jerry, so he could tell the customer so I could plan my day according. Very friendly staff and wonderful building. Had oil change and tire rotation, and washed the car. The service takes about 1 1/2 hours but the waiting room has coffee and some snacks, as well as internet. If you are not in a hurry, very pleasant.

First, I am a person who doesnt like to be sold something. I like to look, take my time to make a decision, and feel that the person I am working with cares about me and my time. That being said, I had the most amazing experience at Capitol Subaru. Dan Penick and Harrison (finance) were great. Harrison explained everything and I love that they took care of everything. Dan was kind, genuine, listened to my concerns, and was not pushy at all. He took the time to show me all the cool things on the car and we swapped kid stories. I really wanted this car but was thinking having a new car vs. a certified preowned would be better. Dan listened to my pros and cons, gave his own pros and cons and I bought the orange Crosstrek! She is a beauty and if there are signs that this is the car for me, see the photo below. Shortly after I got it home (and after the neighbors all came over to admire it) it started to pour and then the sun came out and this beautiful rainbow appeared right over my car. I generally receive excellent Customer Service from Capitol Subaru. Casey, who I purchased the car from last October, was extremely helpful, & friendly. Today I went in for my first tire rotation, & oil change, covered under my extended warranty. Everything went pretty smoothly, fast service! My only issue, is that I had called in advance, letting them know that I had a tail light issue, that I would want fixed, and would need to know if it would be covered by warranty. The phone rep explained, that they can take a look, and figure that all out at my appointment. I brought this up to the service department reps, and they couldn’t look up my warranty, or do the tail light repair. I wish the person I spoke with on the phone would have explained this to me. I drove from Eugene, and was trying to not have to make more than 1 trip, my schedule is tight, and I was expecting more help with my warranty, & tail light concerns. I was told to come back in on a week day, that’s when they can discuss warranty info. I would have scheduled for a weekday, if I had been told this on the original call to schedule the appointment, well before my actual appointment. I also, was sent with a receipt, that has an itemized list of the repairs, or inspections they performed...They sent me home with a note that says I need back break pads soon. I would have liked to have someone tell me about that, or gone over the details with me while I was there. Generally pleased with this dealership, hoping my next experience will be better.

I drove from Coos Bay to Capitol Subaru for a trailer hitch install and Im glad I did. All the Subaru dealerships near me quoted the job at nearly 300 dollars more than Capitol did and Capitol got the job done in half the time that the other dealers near me said it would take. Everyone there was friendly the facilities were clean and the snack area was well stocked. I will definitely be back if I need any more work done on my Subaru.

My fiancé and I went in desperate for a family car - I am due with our first child in under a week and we had been trying to find something in our budget, but really needed to get a car checked off the list. Ruben was the most helpful person we could have dealt with, and he was the least pushy salesman I have ever met. I hate meeting with salesman and with Ruben, it just felt like we were meeting with a real person who cared about our needs/budget. He allowed our two energetic dogs into the dealership on a hot day while we talked and signed papers, and he even walked us out to their Subaru dog park during this time. Absolutely above and beyond. Harrison is who helped us with the financial side of things once we were approved. He was the exact same way, knowledgeable and personable without being pushy. He also allowed our dogs in his office and chatted with us about his two crazy dogs at home.Would HIGHLY recommend going to Capitol Subaru, and would encourage you to ask for these two employees to help you out. Bought a Forester 2021. We love it. Our salesperson, Gavin, was great. No pressure. He was very knowledgeable. We purchased our Subaru Forester approximately 2 months ago from Capitol Subaru. We live 3 hours away and traveled to Capitol Subaru for the amazing price they offered on our Forester. We scheduled our Subaru Love-Encore Delivery appointment to coincide with a trip to CA. We wanted to make sure we understood all the Foresters Touring Package technology and features. We had not purchased a new vehicle for over 10 years so there have been a lot of changes. Unfortunately, due to traffic we were arriving late for our appointment. We contacted Andrew Davis and he was very willing to accommodate us even though we would be 30+ minutes late. Upon arrival Andrew and our salesman, Dan Penick, were waiting at the door and greeted us upon arrival. Very impressive! Andrew asked us if we had any specific questions/concerns about the Touring Package features, and then dove right into going through all dashboard and vehicle components, even helping us make some configurations changes! You could tell Andrew was very knowledgeable about all Subaru aspects and features, and enjoyed sharing his knowledge. He was very patient with us as we continued to ask questions as he went through his overview. We are glad we scheduled this appointment as we feel more comfortable with our Foresters features! We have been very pleased with Capitol Subarus customer service, definitely recommend, and will be a returning customer in the future.

I dropped off my Subaru Forrester for repair/replace parts to my air conditioning system as part of a factory recall. The service was prompt and complete with no charge to me. Everyone was polite and helpful. I was not contacted when the car was finished and I called some time later to learn the work was done and I could come pick up my car. I should have made my contact information more clear, but that was the only, very minor glitch to their service. I am very pleased with Capitol Subaru Service Department.

I took my car in for its 6 month service. They verified name, address and phone number. Asked if I was waiting in the lounge and if they could wash my car. Of course. So appointment was at 9:30. Around 10:15 or so my service advisor walked up to me and said ‘Carolyn?’ No, Nancy. Off she went. I saw a white crosstrek being backed in by an employee sometime after that but didn’t think much of it because it is a Subaru Dealership and I had a post blocking the license plate. And no one had been out to tell me I was good to go. I had my kindle so I was fine. Around 11:15 I’m thinking this is taking way too long for an oil change and got up to get a bottle of water. As I was returning to my seat I notice that the white crosstrek is MINE!! Go to receptionist stand and tell her that my car is in the parking lot but no one has talked to me to tell me it’s done. She asked who my service advisor was 🤷‍♀️ She was female. She came back with a female advisor, not mine. They finally figured it out ~ I am now Carolyn Brannon of Independence. Vin # and license plate # match up with Carolyn Brannon. I did pull old invoices and the customer # has changed. I will be stopping by on Monday to make sure everything has been corrected.

This is my first Subaru in over 25 years. Sheri was a professional from start to finish. I would give her 12 stars if I could. She listened to what I wanted and what I did NOT want. I had a 3pm appointment for oil change/tire rotation. When I dropped the car off at 10am I asked if they could do this service prior to my appointment time and it was done by 11am. Everytime I service my car at Capitol the level of customer service and professionalism has been outstanding...

We bought our 2017 Bolt EV from Dan and had a great experience. We took care of much of the paperwork before heading in to see it, so after a quick test drive and inspection, we were ready to buy. Their price was excellent, and the car is really nice. Dan is a neat guy whos easy to talk to without coming across like the stereotypical sales guy. We enjoyed chatting with him during the transaction and hes clearly a very genuine person. In spite of all the COVID precautions, everyone was cheerful and helpful. Dan helped make the process fun and not too stressful and really helped us out not only by showing us the ins and outs of the vehicle, but by alleviating much of the hassle of the buying process. It helps to come prepared, but it helps even more to have a good sales associate like Dan to walk you through the process like he did with us.

Grant was amazing.Ive been to plenty of dealerships over the years, but the team made my first experience driving off the lot with a brand new vehicle a warm memory. I walked in off the street and requested a test drive. Grant got me the keys to a new Outback and asked if I wanted to go alone or without him. He showed me the cool bells and whistles and patiently answered my questions. I didnt buy the same day and Grant didnt push me to do otherwise. After sleeping on it, I came back in, we finalized the deal, I drove home in my new car, and Grant had my old car delivered to my home.A few days later, Grant handed me off to Andrew for a post-delivery appointment where Andrew answered new questions for me, and arranged to correct an accessory installation issue.I love the car, but the folks at the dealership made the buying experience a pleasure.

I recently bought a car with this dealership. Sales team overall was very nice and helpful. However Bruce Bailey in finance was extremely pushy. He wanted me to sign DMV paperwork that we both agreed had incorrect information and when I asked him to correct it he was visibly upset about putting forth the effort. He also was completely aghast that I did not sign up for the extended warranty and made some odd stereotypes about how engineers should always want take the warranty. These comments didnt make me feel good about the experience.

We purchased a 2018 Subaru Forester. We spent half the time asking questions and changing our mind on which extras but they were understanding and patient. They have a very comfortable atmosphere and a large waiting room. They also have a lovely outdoor area that you can take a walk around the pond if youre having anything done in the service department. We were very happy with our experience here and plan to come back again. :-)

Their costumer service is awful. They can’t answer questions about their service and you will almost never get a hold of a technician. It is a hassle

I loved my experience at Capitol Subaru! I shopped around at a number of dealerships and Capitol was hands-down the best experience. The vibe is relaxed and I was never pressured. The staff seem to genuinely enjoy their work and each other, and everyone I met was super friendly. My salesperson Gavin was awesome. He was authentic and real with me - more focused on building a relationship with his customer and learning what I wanted vs. pushing a product. I came in today with an impossible timeline and Brent pulled it off! Between powering through the paperwork, pushing the car I bought through service before I leave the state, and his generally direct demeaner, this was the most efficient car buying experience I could imagine. I am thrilled with the car I bought, and Brent was amazing to work with. I feel well informed and taken care of. I would definitely go back to this dealership, and will consider coming back for my next car even though I live 1,500 miles away!

Fantastic experience so far. Picked up a 2021 Crosstrek after a few test drives of some different vehicles after consulting with the amazing Karen Such. Next, I met with the very knowledgeable Andrew Davis, who taught me so much about my new vehicle. In the 45 minutes we met, I walked away feeling so much more confident in driving my new vehicle and learned about so many cool features I had no idea existed. These people do a great job.
