Great experience when dealing with Highway fuel over the years for rock stone and dirt. My last project I had 20 plus yards of dirty delivered and decided to spend more money and have it unloaded by conveyor belt. Man o man for the $100 charge, I’ll never get dirt delivered any other way again. This device is awesome and can shoot the dirty up to 80 ft or so. Made the job so much easier.

These guys know their stuff and their pricing is great. I just paid $64 for 2 yards of 3/4 crushed river rock. Their product is always clean and I havent gone at a time they were out of what I needed. Theyre quick to load you out and get you back to your project. Highly recommended by my family and we will continue to use them for all of our landscaping projects.

Ive ordered, flagstone, rock and garden soil on separate occasions and each order has been pleasant. Good quality soil, no weed seed, my yard loved it. Flagstone wasnt a bunch of weird broken bits, gorgeous color and the whole large order was very consistent. Everyone has been very nice and helpful that Ive spoken and the price is very competitive, delivery on time and easy peasy. Highly recommend, was just ty I could use some topsoil... 🤔😊

I regularly dump yard waste here. Currently inexpensive, $10 a yard to dump and they have an unloader to help you get on your way. Much less cost and time than the line at Marion County transfer station.

Very easy to get in with my trailer to get a load of garden dirt. They loaded us up in no time, the staff was very professional and there yard dirt for my garden is awesome.

Everyone was very polite. We were able to easily calculate how much compost to get and we were able to get a quick delivery the same day. The delivery driver was very conscientious about not hitting the tree that hangs over our driveway and very neatly dumped the compost exactly where we needed it.

I was pleasantly surprised with the customer service at Highway Fuel. Every employee we encountered was outgoing and friendly and seemed genuinely interested in helping. We brought pickup loads of sod and rocks to unload - and they unloaded it for us. Thats not the experience weve had at other places like the county dump. I have been very pleased with Highway Fuel over the years. I get a lot of soil and compost products as well as pellets in the winter. They delivered 2 truck loads of soil mix to me this morning. Their driver Randy was terrific- he worked with me to get it unloaded in the right place and in a way that took hours off my work to move it around. Competitive prices- great people! Thank you.

Been too long to get another batch of bark blown into the flower beds. Had your crew out this morning first thing. Watched as they went about their business. Looked like the last time years ago. Then, the most excellent thing happened. They leveled, blew the over sprayed bark into the beds and THEN sprayed down the decks, sidewalks and lawn. Wow, I thought I would have to go out and do some leveling this weekend. Nope, going to have to find another project. This one is done!!!! If I could, Id give them more than 5 stars.

They used to be a great place when they had a location in Salem. This location is so far out of the way it isnt worth the money saved. They have quality products, but their choice of location makes it not a good choice for Salem residents.

Be sure to stop at the booth. I kinda rolled past it because the stop sign was obscured. The gal in the booth was super friendly and helped me load up my pellets.

Picked up a few bundles of wood 4 bucks a bundle is nearly half price of what your normal hardware or big box store will charge; bundlesseem bgger and better quality. Both staff members were super helpful and polite. Loaded up and paid in the drive through in under 5 minutes. Easy cheap convinient all things I needed, I will be back for sure!

I love to landscape with rocks. Walls, accents, rock gardens. They have different sources of quarry rocks wich give you a lot of choice in colors and size. Also many choices in river rock and barkdust. Art on a grand scale

VERY HELPFUL, PROFESSIONAL, AND ECONOMICALI’ve been trying to make my mom’s yard weed and maintenance free and Highway Fuel has the raw materials of rock, sawdust, and assorted stone to do just that. They have a very knowledgable staff and were more then helpful in getting my family landscaping project done.

They lifted my trailer 3-4 feet off the ground and let it drop from that height and bent over the metal plate that keeps the wood in place in the trailer. Jeff said they would give me a refund and when I call them jeff said that they werent responsible for the damages they did to my trailer. WILL NEVER GO BACK AND WILL NOT RECOMMENDED TO MY CUSTOMERS

Significantly overestimated the amount of topsoil that we needed, which led to us spending way more money then necessary. They also overestimated that we would need a Unit of barkdust (7.5 yards) when we would only need about 2 yards, if that. They only want money and dont care about their customers. They were very unhelpful when I complained.

As a resident of NE Salem, this is my go-to place for yard materials. Ive used them for bark, compost, sand, pea gravel, crushed gravel, and flagstone and theyve always been resonably priced and delivered on time.

They got good supplies but the owner is a joke and is mean to his employees and has 100% anger problems and a hot temper and he puts down thoughs with every kind of disability as well as with ADHD. You do not want to work for Highway fuel Co or the owner.

Wet firewood made for a cold winter last year. must find somewhere else now.

Do yourself a favor...shop at Bark Boys they are friendlier and they act like they want your business.
