I’m very grateful for Tim, but for the lady who was working there this morning was very rude. I ordered some books at the beginning of the term and they didn’t get here until yesterday. Unfortunately I needed those books so I also bought them on Amazon so I would not get two weeks behind on the reading. I came in this morning to pick them up and return them and she said “The return deadline is the 8th. Is it the 8th?” So I apologized and she said “Fine, we will do it this once.” But with an attitude. I have worked customer service before and I know what it was like to have bad days but she kept up the attitude the whole time I was there and I thanked them again for doing this for me (even though I didn’t get the books by the 8th) she ignored me. Tim was so helpful and cheery and I appreciate that a lot.

I sold some books back to the school. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. The process went very smoothly.

Chemeketa is a great school and the bookstore is awesome. They are doing a wonderful job of keeping up during this strange time of covid-19 and with construction.

Unorganized, to say the least. I had to come back 2 days in a row (from out of town) because, first the book was out of stock, then magically in stock that same evening, once I had arrived home. I called twice before hand and to ensure I would be there after the delivery, and still ended up making the first trip for no reason. Not friendly about calls made to inquire about books being in stock. There should be a better system for those who take classes outside of Salem.

Have always found what I needed. Great staff and great products. Be warned. College books are expensive.

I love the bookstore at Chemeketa. You dont have to be a student to buy from them either. The first 2 weeks of every term they always put all the art supplies on sale for 30% off. Im a bit of a crafter so I always take advantage of this sale.

Good service try to get your books at least a week before the term starts to avoid the lines.
