Better selection of music! Friendly people who care about the Customer and appreciate their business.. Unlike the Competition... Who dislikes people and will go out of their way to order anything unlike the independent wanna-bes.

This location has a huge variety of cool things to look at and buy! I enjoy shopping at this FYE in Salem.

Be careful on what you purchase. Ive been shopping here for years and did not realize that the prices on the items are not the same as the register. Ive been over paying for a while now. And the inventory is always missed placed. They are quick to take the money for the item but it takes 5 to 10 business days to get your money back? I will never return to this over priced place again. Pay attention to the prices. And u will see.

Visiting from out of state and found fye still exists! Great store with loads of hard to find movies and music, plus tshirts, games, gag gifts and weird candy.

Ive been going to this location since LONG before it was FYE. Its amazing. They really know their stuff, pricing is right,and they have fandom niche items no one else does. We used to pick up true blood energy drinks every season premiere ( the duff beer ones taste close to the same) for screwdrivers.Movies, music...this is a one stop shop.

Excellent customer service and they had one of the four obscure movies I was looking for.Still need to go back to replace my Bob Ross windshield shade! Mine has been so used its too faded and ya cannot appropriately see the Bob Ross fro from sun damage. Glad Salem has f.y.e

I love this place. they usually have pretty much any music you could think of, and plenty of Funko pops and movies. deducted a star because they sold me a subscription i now have to cancel, but maybe Im just naïve.

I find it weird that people say they have good prices. If youre talking dvds, no. A TV series on Amazon was almost $70, so I checked here, it was $120. They always cost a lot more weather used or new for dvds.

My kiddo loves this spot. Always satisfies her anime, crazy socks, movie parafanilla wants. Lots of cool gifts for your movie lover or sitcom binges watching friends.

Good place if youre in the area and want to stop in real quick. Wish they changed up their selection of vinyls and specialty items more often though.

Found a nice used copy of a 2 disc collectors edition for one of my fav films for a decent price. Manager of the store checked us out, he was really nice. When I inspected the blu ray in the car it had only 1 disc, and it was region b, meaning it couldnt be played in standard players in the US. I happen to know this edition of the movie is only region A, so there shouldnt be a region b disc at all.20 minutes after buying it i go in to let them know of the error, but its a different person working the desk. When I calmly explained to the new cashier the situation he was incredibly apathetic and said region b discs can be played in the US. I told him that may be the case (only with special region free players) but its still missing a disc and on top of that it wasnt even the collectors edition disc of the movie but the standard edition. He looked annoyed and said his manager (who sold me this copy) would have to look into it but he was on his lunch break. I waited until his manager came back, but he didnt tell his manager about the issue. Instead he joked around with his manager, ignoring me, until I had to bring up the issue myself.The manager was super helpful and corrected the issue, he even struck up a conversation about the replacement movie I ended up getting instead. Kudos to the manager who seemed super chill.

Love it its a cute store with a lot of good stuff. Wish they wouldve had more vinyls of Madonna, Britney, Christina. Also wish they wouldve had Christina Aguilera cds and vinyls.

Me and my son like to shop here for movies that are hard to find. Also, when were looking for unique movie memorabilia, this is the place to find it!

Im a K-pop fan and they have a nice selection of albums. During this pandemic not as much, I reccomend going on Thursday or Monday for more variety ( its usually when they get their shipments). More on the expensive side so I only go sometimes. But for the few shops in Oregon I appreciate it.

Nice BIG place. Nice open layout and fare prices. Extremely knowledgeable staff. Wife had an old Richard Pryor movie she wanted, dude did us a solid buy getting us a 4 movie on one disk set. Will definitely be returning soon.

I went in looking for one specific movie and came out with five. In total the five movies came out to about $30 which to me is a pretty good deal. Everything is in alphabetical order, so you can easily find what youre looking for and normally at a really cheap price.

Good place for unique gifts. Great selections on movies and music. Friendly staff on Friday night (which is when I went). Prices are very fair - most products lower than I expected.I highly recommend supporting this local store! Please check it out at least once.

First time visiting. Was able to locate a new release that wasnt available at other stores. Prices were very fair. Lots of memorabilia. Upbeat atmosphere. People were very helpful.

A great place to find movies and tv shows even rare ones at affordable prices. They also have movie related figures and toys. I wish they had a bigger selection of classics but it is fun to browse and find something unexpected.

So. Much. Fun. They have music, yes, but its everything else geeky that will keep you there. You could get lost in the Funko Pops, Asian imports (think animé and k pop), and fun products you simply didnt know existed. The prices are on point and the staff are, too. Will return. Will buy too much. So will you.

This store has slot of cool stuff!!! I could spend a thousand dollars in there, if I had 1000.00 but they do have a bunch of really sweet shirts for only 5.00. so Im definitely going back for those! For the most I really like this place. YEARS AGO Ive had a couple instances where maybe I didnt care too much for the customer service while trading in CDs and DVDs but other than that, its an awesome place to go for affordable USED movies. The new movies are very overpriced but for collectors, they do have some good collectors editions and collectables that you might not find anywhere else. You just dont see many stores like this anymore so its good to keep them in business!

They have a good selection of media and novelty items. A lot for the weeb in all of us, or maybe not, but definitely for me. They also have a lot of other fandom and genres, theres something for everyone a little nerdy.

I have known this place existed but I had no idea. I was given some movies from here for Christmas and I decided I wanted to exchange some of them. So I brought them in with only 1 receipt and there should have been 2. No problem for completing exchange with help from store manager. She helped me find what I was looking for and quickly came to me when she saw I found what I was looking for to finish the exchange. They have much more new and used music and movies than I thought. I will be back to this store.

Im not sure who this store is for anymore. They are trying to move to memorabilia and paraphernalia but havent gone far enough to make it worth the trip. They are also desperately clinging to physical media that is going away. I think most of the people go there while they are waiting for Comcast.

Friendly staff. I can usually find some good deals on used vinyl and Dvds/ Blue Rays. Good place to find gifts esp for teens. You can get a discount if you sign up for their card but they changed their system and I decided it was too expensive. They have frequent sales and specials. They usually have a $5 special at the counter if you purchase a certain amount or more and they switch out the movies regularly.

FYE is great for finding geeky/nerdy items in Salem. It was organized well and all items were well stocked with a full wall of Funkos. Only 3 etar because 1. Its just another find what you want store like walmart and 2. Nothing was exciting beyond the inventory.

I love this place. It is unique, you dont see stores around like this any more. They have used/new dvds and blue rays, used/new cds, they have a nice selection of vinyl, they also have a great selection of pop culture items like pop funko, horror icon figures, t-shirts, posters, candy. I could spend all day looking here.

I purchased a used double CD for $9.99 but when i opened package in my vehicle i noticed scratches all over the CD. I purchased it in my brand new stereo and it skipped right away. I immediately returned it without any hassel . Check your used discs before leaving property.

This has been one of my top favorite stores in Salem for several years now. I particularly like to shop here for gifts for friends and family. I recently purchased a set of Bob Ross pint glasses for a friends celebration for getting her teaching degree and she absolutely loves them. If FYE ever closes, Im going to cry! Go check it out so that never happens!!

They have a large amount of popular items, especially for young people. We went there looking for a gift for a teenage boy. I usually find something on sale or clearance. They have merchandise for Anime, popular cartoons, movies and TV Shows. They also have tons of Funko Pop to choose from.

They have alot of things for sell in this store although I shop online for these kinds of items now days. But it was fun to browse.

Definitely found a few things I was and, wasnt looking for while I was there. Good experience overall. If youre looking for the things listed above then this is your place.

Kind of expensive, but they do have good sales. Nice clean comfortable environment. Fun to walk around while waiting for relatives to shop. Lots to look at and reminisce about

Great store, can almost always find the movies I want to own in physical format. Missing a few, but I cant blame them for missing a few out of Im sure several hundred movies. Layout of the store is a bit wonky but who can blame them. Im sure there is quite a bit of grief involved in designing a layout for a store.

Used movies are buy 2 get 1 for a dollar. Used TV series are same deal. I have not seen better prices and selection combo anywhere else. Also they have a machine where you can make your own personalized music compulation CD. They also have movie collectors items.

I love stale Funko Cereal for 3 bux a box sold here. The prize was so much better though.
