We toured harbor sweets and it was SO much fun! The chocolates are so delicious and the caramel is the best I’ve ever had. Loved this experience!

This chocolate shop is the best shop in Salem. My mom and I stopped by here on our last day exploring the town and when we found the shop, we were immediately greeted. Customer service was fantastic! Ive seen reviews saying that the chocolate was expensive, it is but you get what you pay for. To me, this chocolate is better than any candy bar you will buy at a gas station.

Very good quality chocolate, rich and fresh, not overly sweet; the dark chocolate has the right consistency, pecans are fresh, caramel and toffee inside the chocolate are amazing! They have a factory right behind the store, you can see all the equipments through glass windows. A place I would stop by for afternoon sweets and shop for holiday presents

Sampled some chocolate before buying. You can see the factory in the making. Clean and neat location. Staff was helpful to share some knowledge about local places where to eat. I guess my partner was so happy to be here that after visiting the restroom, she thinks she left the souvenir chocolates she purchased there. A man came in and shared his choice of getting chocolates instead of flowers. Overall enjoyed to be here.

I ordered gifts for a coworker for an office holiday party and paid extra to have the order shipped overnight, I allowed a week between the order and the event but unfortunately it wasn’t processed in time and arrived late so I had to give another gift. The items did arrive today and are of excellent quality and beautifully packaged. I would order from them again because of the quality and classy designs but would recommend you speak to someone in person if you need anything shipped by a particular date. If it had gotten here when it was supposed to I would have given 5 stars.

I’m eat sweets rarely and I received a gift of Harbour Sweets chocolate. I will tell you, the dark chocolate is the best chocolate I have had in my life! It’s like taking the most delicious hot chocolate you have ever had and putting it in a chocolate bar form. SO AMAZING!!

I bought 4 boxes of Harbor Sweets at Home Goods--60 piece boxes. I gave one to someone. He opened the box and let us have some. The shell was horrible and left a terrible taste in my and my daughters mouths. I had read that the sailboat or schooner was their specialty, so we quickly ate one of those. It was better and took the horrible taste of the shell out of our mouths. I returned the other three boxes to Home Goods the next day. Maybe the chocolates at the store location are better rather than the mass-produced boxes sold in stores. I cant say because I havent been to the store in Salem. But its hard to make chocolate go so wrong as those shells. I dont think Ive ever returned chocolate before. Sorry to be so negative but it was a terrible experience. Am somewhat embarrassed that I gave that one box as a gift.

The chocolates here are amazing. They are all hand made in site and you can see the the process. The only con is that it is a bit expensive, but I have to admit totally worth the price.

The Harbor Sweet chocolates are amazing, especially the sweet sloops. They were having an open house holiday event when I last went, so it was a bit crazy. Overall, it was still positive as I got to sample a few lines of chocolates. The space is small and gets crowded easily, but you obviously get a better selection than finding their stuff in other shops. The staff was friendly and helpful, even as the place stayed crowded. Its pricier than the bigger names in chocolate, but worth it.

Fresh and delicious chocolates, in shapes and flavor combinations like nowhere else. Super friendly and knowledge staff to help you select the perfect sweet. Of course, the free samples dont hurt! A little off the beaten track but well worth the trek.

Premium quality chocolate that is a bit pricey but worth every penny. Upon my first time entering, a friendly staff member greeted me and offered me samples as well as explained all the different flavors they had. Would highly recommend the sweet sloops chocolate!

Salem is downright lucky to have this candy store making delicious chocolates locally. They are famous for their Sweet Sloops with their signature sail shape--a great gift for any fan of New England. They have a wide array of other chocolates, available in different selections.

11/20/14I work for a law firm in California and yesterday we received a festive package of Sweet Sloops from Harbor Sweets via UPS. We were pleasantly surprised to find 12 chocolates inside an Autumn-themed bag - What a SWEET Thanksgiving treat.The foil unwrapped to reveal handmade chocolate sailboats with an almond butter crunch filling. They were delicious and went quickly (our staff knows how to make chocolate disappear!) These are a great gift idea and the Harbor Sweet website says theyre only $10.50. Less than $1 each seemed like a pretty fair price for specialty chocolate - and they were designed cuter than your typical piece of chocolate.Very thoughtful gift - chocolate was delicious!

I went to this hidden candy shop on Salem, it was before Christmas amd had great and business going on. My friend was gifted with a small pouch of Schooners, I ate half yhey were great toffee type little schooner shaped candies.

I box a variety box today and I felt in love with it . I grow cocoa in Brazil and I was happy to see someone making magic with the cocoa . These chocolates are the best

I have been buying from Harbo Sweets for several years now. This year, I found our sloops to taste rather stale. The prices are pretty high and shipping costly for a product not as good as in previous years. I also found the recent survey I received to be intrusive asking for very personal information. The questions reflected little about the quality of the product and geared toward advertising and selling more.
