I had a wonderful experience during my visit today. I had an eye exam and Dr. Fast took very good care, took his time, and explained things thoroughly. He cares about his patients and it shows. The receptionist at the front was very kind and helpful also (I didn’t catch her name) and the building felt clean and sanitary. Thanks Salem LensCrafters!
LensCrafters is great, but Sarah at the Center St Store made it even better today. Even though things got a little crazy with my order, she asked the right questions and made my experience too easy. Appreciate Sarah’s humble approach when engaging with customers.
Ellen was awesome! She was very patient with me while I was trying on different frames. Also the safety the staff puts into keeping everyone safe by cleaning all the frames is a definite plus!
This was our first visit to LensCrafters and my wife and I were totally impressed. There was no waiting and we were in and out in less than an hour with a completed order for new frames and lenses. I highly recommend them.

I have had great experiences at Lens crafters but I have to tell you that your new remodel is hard on the eyes. I appreciate good design, but the choices for your lobby walls (2 toned stripes with dimension) made me downright dizzy. Please tear them out and go with flat walls and instead spend your budget on purchasing well made artwork.

The staff on the doctor side are very kind and take care of patients very well. However, the designer of the newly remodeled side should have considered the functionality of the space for the people working there. It does not flow well and I have to move to multiple rooms to accomplish one task. The walls as you walk in make you physically sick and dizzy. It all looks very nice by modern standards but is not functional or appropriate for an eye doctors office. It makes me believe there is more wrong with my eyes than there actually is. If you were going to spend this much money you should have at least considered the people who work there in your design. The giant TV behind the test is ridiculous.
Went in looking for some Oakley Det cord glasses that their website said they had in stock. I walked in and went to the Oakley section and looked for awhile but didn’t see them. I didn’t get greeted at all so I went up to the counter to ask if they had them and was told they don’t carry safety glasses. It didn’t seem like they were trying to help. Not sure if that’s how it normally goes, but I left. Will buy them elsewhere.
Found Dr Fast (whos office is connected to Lens Crafters) years ago and keep coming back. He is great! Honest and no nonsense. I have gotten frames here (and elsewhere) and have always found the staff very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.

The new screen behind the front desk is so big it almost makes you dizzy! The remodel is great but the screens need to go!

Brian at LensCrafters and staff I highly recommend for your eyeglass needs. Friendly, knowledgeable, and also up to date on regulations for COVID 19, so no need to worry. Then right in the facility is Dr. Fast and staff. I have only positive things to say about them. What a sweet package deal having them both for your Eye needs!
Had the best experience @ LensCrafters. I was short on time and was faced with picking out new frames (to be that’s a big deal). Byron asked if I wanted help I said YES PLEASE!Based on the glasses I came in with. He picked out several pairs for me to try on, even though each pair touched had to be COVID cleaned afterwards. The best part is then he gave me his honest opinion. Didn’t try to sell me anything my Insurance wouldn’t cover. Because of his help I was able to pick out a pair of frames I love & processed everything super quickly, I was in & out in 15-20 min.
Great customer service, the Eye Doctor did a very thorough exam and I can see in ultra HD now!

I have been coming here for years and they have always been amazing to me. This time was even better than the other times. Dr. F is the best, and his office staff is top notch. I always wait to the last minute to order my contacts, and they have always taken care of me. There is not one thing negative I would say about this place and the people that work there. I love the team here. I called to find out when is the quietest time to come shopping because I always have a hard time selecting glasses. I ended up getting the whole team to help me pick out the pair that looks the best and they gave me all the discounts they could find.

The associate that was helping me just left me to help another customer after I asked a question about lens options. He also continued to ignore me even after he finishes with that customer. I had to tell him for a second time I didnt want to talk to their lab tech about my question. Only then would he finish the transaction.

My mom went in for an eye exam and get new glasses at Salem location. She had a great experience with the doctor doing the exam and had many great things to say about him. When she went to pick out her frames around noon, there was a saleswoman (who we had met previously and was a delight) on the other hand the salesman helping her with the frames was so rude and very impatient. Needless to say my mom felt pressured and uncomfortable and wasn’t able to make a decision on what frames to get. I feel so sad this happened to her and that I wasn’t there to help her, but this is the first and only time we will be going there, unfortunately.
This place has very nice staff. They are sometimes busy, but always helpful.

I called during pandemic to ask for a price estimate for bifocal lenses put in my own frame. He, the manager, said anywhere from $300 to $1000 but I should come in for a more accurate quote. I said I wanted the cheapest option and wanted to get the price over the phone (due to covid). He said, $500. I said, You just said $300 was the cheapest. He said, Well you wanted a more accurate quote. I said, Costco said -and he hung up. I was going to say Costco charges $74 to $80 so what is the reason for the huge difference, but he hung up. The fact that I wanted the information on the phone instead of in person seems to enrage him (during a pandemic).

T.J was so helpful! I brought in a pair of antique glasses that had lost one of the nose pads and T.J fixed it in 10 minutes for free! I would definitely recommend Lens Crafters for any of your vision needs, no matter how small. Make sure to ask for T.J 🙂

Back on October 22, I received eye exam. No pressure sales. Was considering upgrade to bifocals. After 2 months went back deciding on single lens sunglasses. Really nice experience. Byron very helpful, he helped me to look and pick out a couple styles. Raybans half price.

Very poor customer service. Also could not find my file on there computer. Very unprofessional and rude. When I told them that I would take my business elsewhere he said oh well and did not care. This company will never get my business again and I will let everyone I know that thay are very unprofessional and that there customer service is terrible. Would like to have a talk with someone from corporate office.

I just wanted to share my positive experience with this LensCrafters location. I read the reviews before going to the store and, to be honest, the negative comments nearly kept me from going. I decided not to put too much into the reviews and go ahead anyway. I am glad I did. I had a great experience at this LensCrafters location and if I ever need glasses again, I will return. The gentleman that helped me was attentive, polite, and was not pushy at all. He allowed me to shop for my glasses and allowed me to take as much time as needed. He answered my questions and was extremely knowledgeable about the products in the store. He was proficient with checking out and was kind enough to give me his discount on a pair of sunglasses that I also purchased. I appreciated his kind and helpful demeanor. This is rare with many retail establishments now. Most stores want you in and out and they want to push products on you left and right. This was not the case with LensCrafters. My glasses had to be ordered and were completed within the time frame they gave me (they gave me a week window, but the glasses came back sooner than that though). Thank you for such a positive experience!
Excellent, non pushy service. Clean store. Would be nice if there was a bit more to choose from when it comes to glasses but there’s still a good variety and great brands. The prices aren’t bad either. Also glasses were ready in an hour... very quick!

I can honestly say this was my most pleasant visit to the optometrist in a very long time. Starting with the tech, she was fast and efficient, as well as knowledgeable. The doctor was amazing, Dr. Wilcox, she was thorough and ensured my prescription was what I truly needed, which was a big difference from what I had, definitely did not need the strength I was in. Finally, the frame consultant, Caren, was awesome. She thought outside of the box for my unique need for a wide frame and was so kind and professional. I couldnt have asked for a better experience.

Had to have my lenses remade 3 times. They kept telling me my brain would adjust to the new lenses. After a month of no brain adjusting I went back to my ophthalmologist. He confirmed the problem was with the lenses. Went back to LC. They made me sit in the store 45 minutes, saying they ‘had to think about it’, while waiting on other customers. Finally dealt with the issue and ordered new lenses with measurement adjustments which I had to direct them to make. The lenses were still not right. I went to the Tigard store where they made the necessary correction in 5 minutes. I’ve been a LensCrafters customer for nearly 20 years. I’m not sure I will purchase at LensCrafters again. Certainly not at the Salem location.
I just want to say that this LensCrafters has been absolutely amazing. I went in there one day to look at new glasses and their computer system was causing trouble. I was there a little longer and it took some extra time but they were so awesome about it. They even gave me a pretty sweet discount for being patient. I went over to Target to pick up a few things and 20 minutes later they had my glasses all ready! Today I called because I found out I need a change to my lens prescription and they said I would only have to pay the difference in cost because I was just in there a month ago. So far their customer service has gone above and beyond. It helps that they are both friendly and informative. I will go here for the rest of my and my kids glasses from here on out!
This place is stealing from your insurance. I was offered there special lenses and they refused to talk about the other options they had. They wanted almost $700 more than my insurance covered AND THEN wanted to charge me for the garbage frames they had at over $100. The Asian woman working the sales floor was pushy and rude. I will be contesting there services with my insurance provider.
Americas best lied to me several times i also paid as much for one set of single lenses no frames as i paid for 2 pair a year prior with frames ...inept to put it lightly also the lenses were not drilled properly what a waste of time and money ..i wento lenscrafters off center they were polite knowledgeable and i will not be going back to Americas best its the worst ..except for a refund
Extremely RUDE receptionist.. supposedly the manager. I have been going there for several years, often unfriendly, but my last visit was the worst experience I have ever had. Dr. Fast Didnt seem to care about her poor behavior. I will not go back there again.
I started going to LenCrafters because it had partnered with my vision coverage at work. I continued going back even after switching insurance because I liked the service and convenience. They have lots of frames from name brands and less expensive options, too. Two criticisms: 1. You never really know what youre going to pay until very far along in the process; 2. The old promise of new glasses in about an hour doesnt count for most name brands that they have to send away for. No biggie if youre not in a hurry.

Worst place ever!Gave me the wrong prescription that my eyes have never been in for as long as I have been wearing glasses and was willing to even show them my old prescriptions and newer prescription showing my eyes not even anywhere near the ones they put in my glasses. The Dr is horrible! Highly DO NOT recommend it. He will give you the wrong perscription.

Do not go to them. Just went to a different eye place and found out they totally gave my daughter the wrong prescription. Poor girl. She said she was having trouble seeing clearly. Never in a million years would I have thought they would screw that up. WOW.
This is the worst place I ever been the salesman that they have there is rude first he tells me to sit down then he asked me if it’s OK if he helps somebody else I asked him if I get the glasses in an hour and he said yes at the very end it wasn’t an hour it two weeks if I wanted to get the more expensive it would be an hour that’s not what he explained the first time I’ll never go there again Very rude Very rude
