Friendly help, eager but not pushy. Good selection of in stock items. They will also order nonstocked things too. Some staff can give great information including usage tips. I also like rewards for loyal customers.

Do not order any canned beverages from this place. I ordered 11 cases of BANG energy drinks, and almost ALL of the cases came dented and dinged. 2 cases didnt even arrive because, guess what? The carrier mistreated them and they broke. I had to contact this company just to have them resent. Not only this, they expedited the shipping and resent those two cases. Guess what? They arrived. BURSTED. Which are currently, as of this review, sitting in my sink leaking. They were packaged with PAPER to protect them, not bubble wrap. The box does not even have HANDLE WITH CARE stickers. Its just a plain brown box. I contacted them to refund me for these two cases, so we will see how that goes. I am incredibly disappointed with them. I will not shop with them again.

Went in here the other day for a liquid vitamin. The gentleman at the counter gave me a reccomendation and holy cow this is my new favorite. I am very impressed. 100% will be a repeat customer.

Aloha from Hawaii!Just got back from a long visit with my college daughter in Salem and needed some Servovital. I just wanted to commend AARON, whom initially took my call and was super friendly! He even informed me of their sales! I went down to his store that day, he remembered me, and got my item immeidiately. He asked if I needed anything else on my trip, which I replied, I was ok for now. I liked that not only was he extremely helpful & friendly, but didnt pressure me like other nutritional shops Ive gone to. He took the time to chat and answer other questions I had. He was very knowledgeable! Awesome asset to you store! Also, want to give another shout out to KATIE, who came in later, and was also extremely friendly & knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend this location, and I will go back when I visit my daughter and need more supplements! I even told her to go there if she and her friends need anything!

I was in here today getting some pre-workout. This place is always friendly but I gotta give the two employees working today props for dealing with a overzealous customer aggressively trying to engage in a discussion about politics. These two handled it professionally without being discourteous and they deserve praise for how they navigated the situation. Theres a time and place for political discussion and I can assure anyone reading this that that the Vitamin Shoppe at 3 pm is neither the time nor the place. I will come back to this location for as long as I live in Salem. Cheers.

Service is friendly and helpful. They general have what I need when it comes to supplements and vitamins, or the person at the counter will be able to at least point you in the right direction. Prices are marked up, so when possible, you’ll find more value for money buying online.

I liked the selection. Entering the store felt weird as the two maleemployees working near the front sort of blocked me from entering the interior of the store, one asked me what I was there for. I told him, and he pointed to the section I was looking for. They had several buy 1 get 1 1/2 off advertised, but only honored one of the three deals I picked, The other two deals were full price for each. One of the Dr. Bonners Toothpaste box was taped shut and had a few creases like it had been torn open, I didnt think anything of it until I got home and discovered the protective foil had been removed from under the cap. The toothpaste was dried out. I dont like shady business, and there were two instances where The Vitamin Shoppe did not do as they promised. #pricing #quality #sales

Great place with friendly staff. The manager Joe is great. Some people say this place is expensive, I disagree however. GNC is more expensive and unfortunately so are a lot of the locally owned stores. If you want great deals without waiting for them in the mail, this is the place to go.

If shes a manager which i hope she isnt dressed way innapropriate for her job. People here are always harassing to buy items too. Surprised such a nice store has people like this working there.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE guy here was rude after I made a purchase and realized I had got the wrong item I went back to exchange it literally less than 5 minutes after purchase and he said all rude with attitude, well.... go get the one you want Im not gonna go get it for you! Refused to assist finding the product I was after because I made a return...... Bad customer service
