A place I would recommend for auto repair needs. It would seem intimidating seeing the shop for the first time but my experience was and is super friendly and helpful employees. Ask for Junior, for our experience he has been understanding and very helpful in getting our vehicle back up amd running. The shop seems to have much experience in dealing with frustrating issues as we had and I can say from our experiences, they are honest and up front about repair and cost. The price of auto repair can be heavy especially now a days no matter where we go. But I have no issues paying anyone that is fair and honest no matter the cost, becuase we have to pay, we have to get the work done no matter who does it. But for me I have no issues paying for the service provided by Salinas Auto Repair & Transmission.

These mechanics are excellent, honest, and versatile. They fixed my old jaguar that no other mechanic would touch after a complete engine failure. It runs better than ever now. Ive never been to another mechanic that was able to do so much with this car. I dont live in the area, but will continue to travel to this shop.

We have gone here twice for work. They even back up their work with a 90 day warranty. We have had a 2002 Ford F-150 truck rebuilt and a 2010 Toyota Sienna rebuilt at different times. They are still the most reasonable and the most reliable.

I have used this place for oil changes and they also helped when a different tire company broke a lug nut and my tire could not be removed/rotated. American Tire (a company I do trust) recommended I take it to Trustlane. They were able to fix the problem, and Ive brought my car to them ever since. Nice employees, good work, reasonable prices. And Juan also really cares that you are satisfied. I will bring my car to them again.

I have been a customer of theirs for over six years. They have provided outstanding service on both my 2001 Jaguar XJ8 and 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. Professional work, quality parts, and great customer service is their business model! I find their pricing to be very competitive and reasonable. As a former shade tree mechanic in my youth; their diagnostic ability and mechanical skills are very reassuring. If other shops offer a lower bid; you need to ask yourself what shortcuts they are using! Salinas Auto Repair and Transmissions never take shortcuts!

Best Auto repair!!We highly recommend Salinas Auto Repair for car repairs. They went beyond the call of duty to help a mother and daughter and two cats driving from Seattle to San Diego (military orders). The car developed a problem and they were able to help us immediately, correctly diagnose the problem and fix it so we could be on our way. Not only did they help our car, but they also drove us to a park where we could pleasantly wait with our two cats. We thank them for not only their mechanic skills but also for being concerned and conscientious about our situation.

Guy at front desk was rude. Told me they couldnt just check my car then told me they could check it with a down payment. Not professional. I recommend Valley Centre Car Care looked at it with no charge upfront.

They couldn’t fix my sisters car and ended up leaving it worse off. A backyard mechanic fixed it when they couldn’t. Plus they charged too much.

Great service and friendly staff. However, theyve moved from Menke St. and are now located at 240 W. Market St.
