Good food but higher prices than other grocery stores and customer service is terribleAdding to why I was not satisfiedI am a regular customer and it really takes a lot for me to leave a bad review, but when you go there and every single time people act like you are invisible while waiting right in front of them to get helpYou just feel you are not welcome thereI am particularly speaking of the food section ladies there seem to be in a bad mood every day,Give them a raise in exchange for a smile or at least be a little more attentive to customers who might be on their lunch break and may need to be out of the store in less than 10 min .

Dont know why they have only 2 lines open on a jam packed sunday . Smh

Nice clean place. Staff is friendly and they stock a nice and wide enough variety of Mexican merchandise, they could improve the central american part. But is a great store.

Maybe it is a coincidence but every time that I go this store there is always an issue with my order, the oatmeal tastes expired or the person doesn’t wash their hands when handling food or the the personal gives a horrible customer service.-

Rude cashiers especially the food court I made line and she refused to give serve me saying that I had not waited in line

I like this store. Its centrally located on the East side of Salinas. Next to, West End Girls. Love that song. Dont like A Lot of the customers that go there. Rude, and Ruder. Thats, What makes it interesting. Also the food court. The Ladies, and The Grill Master will cater to your taste buds delight. Delicious and authentic Mexican food. They had to put the bakery Next, to it. Flan, Choco Flan, Tres Leches cake, and more cakes. You want to impress your friends. Buy everything Already made, and say You made it (dispose of the packaging). My kids mom did that. Till I found the receipt. Dispose of that Too. I KNOW what you did Tina. Happy shopping. Avoid Rude. Ruder is nicer.

Excellent food & service. Thank You.Sorry had to repost review. NEVER BUY menudo got home it was so greasy the pot and spoons needed extra soap just to clean them. People were nice but very disappointed on the menudo need to fine a new spot next time in town.

The employees are very rude and the mananger allow them to have that attitude, only a few employees give good customer services. This is every time I go to this store. I called to the store to give my feedback but nobody answered and no vm available.

Just went in there to buy an energy drink. It was for a cheap price.

Thought this place was great for a while besides the fact that the ladys at the food bar have a bad attitude but lately I’ve gotten salsa that’s not good anymore it smells bad today I was craving Albóndigas so I went and got ground beef the meat had a Weird color and smell I really thought nothing of it so I made everything when they were ready my husband was so mad because the meat tasted bad and it had a smell this is unacceptable Cardenas

The food was fair, but more emphasis needs to be placed on service and clean environment around the food court.

2 Mexican lady’s serving were disrespectfully rude and lazy, food was cold & meat was red me & my boyfriend & my daughter came to Salinas as a vacation & stopped by because my daughter was starving and they made us wait in line while they were serving my family (which we came in with ) for about 15minutes and said they “we’re closed” hella quite with an attitude 🤬 NEVER COMING BACK to this disgusting disrespectful, dirty place!!!!!

I liked it better when it was Mi pueblo its dirty and smelly now, and no cashiers always long lines .

I couldnt find a close enough parking. Two cars were parked on the road so they stopped the flow of traffic beside the entrance I parked farther.I use a cane so couldnt go in. Too Crowded.

Shop for fresh meat, cheeses fish and regular food items. There is also a Mexican restaurant inside the store food to go or eat there. They have great salsas!

Very rude cashier at the food court. Asked my elderly mother to speak when spoken. Had her get back in line. I asked for a refund. She said she was going to get the manager I told the manager what had happened and I didnt even get an apology. I told the cashier she needed to educate herself on how to treat customers, she simply laughed. Their corporate service wasnt any help either. Bitter experience. The only reason I gave it one star is because otherwise I wasnt going to be able to post this incident.

Its alright but the only problem that I have is that most displays are in Spanish, but I can only understand English.

When to get the chicken special the only bad thing is that the salsa is disgusting

I really wanted some fresh fruit and sweet potatoes and I was able to find them in this store. The apples were some of the best that Ive ever tasted in my life and the sweet potato yams excellent.

Terrible service in general all workers were being rude and had a sour attitude.

This place is in the old Safeway building and definitely gets a lot of clientele this is the place to go to for any of needs

I found a very close parking space, and I was able to get what I wanted for a competitive price. The line to pay was short.

I went there for the first time hoping to get some type of berries really quick since it was on my way home. Unfortunately they only had 2 boxes of strawberries and 1 box of raspberries, all 3 of which looked like they were already rotting. On my way out I noticed long lines and only 2 cashiers open.

I just love this market. Good selection and prices. But Its the in-house restaurant that really sets this Mi Pueblo above the rest. Chilli Rellenos to die for!

They have a radio blasting super loud music as you walk in, cant hear employees when ordering food...parking lot always full of cars left all day by laborers, not from customers...tortillas not fresh, seem to be shipped from another Cardenas store...Management why super loud music, no need for it, its not a night club...que pues

Really bad service, they dont have enough cashiers, and they ones available they just walking around doing nothing, specially head cashiers, we asked one of the head cashiers to open one more cash register and she just ignored us.
