Wonderful class. I am a beginner that wanted to learn how to use my camera so I can capture images of my loved ones. There were also professionals in the class who were furthering skills. All the classes applied to everyone! Jens is a great teacher with wonderful enthusiasm for the art. The classes always flew by and each one has been useful in furthering my photography knowledge and skills. Always a great experience. They’re great at reaching out when stock comes in and I consider some people on their staff as personal friends. Also, the store is beautiful. Sort of not a necessity, but it helps with the guest experience for me. I like shopping in nice places. Everything is well laid out and the staff can get me to what I need very efficiently. Money well spent.I came to this class as an absolute beginner. My knowledge of my camera was limited to on/off. I was concerned the information would be presented in a way that was difficult to follow for someone like me but decided to give it a try.By the end of the 1st of our 6 “Getting to Know Your Camera” classes, I felt like I had gotten my money’s worth and then some. Each class provided even more value. Money well spent.Coming in, I could not have told you what an F Stop was or what it did. After finishing the 6 classes, I can manually adjust shutter speed, F stop, and ISO based on light conditions.There were many in the class much more professional and educated and they also found value in the classes. I would say regardless of your skill level, this is a great series. I look forward to taking more classes from Jens at Pictureline and also joining the events to continue to develop and hone my skills.Thanks for everything Stephanie and Jens. Anytime I go into Pictureline I know I’m getting the best advice on what camera to get or which lenses they like the best. I never feel like they’re trying to sell me anything based on commission. I started wildlife photography a year ago and was not sure what the best camera/lens combo was for me. Wonderful class!! Jens and Stephanie are brilliant ambassadors to the challenging universe of photography. Enrolling in the Get to Know Your Camera class hosted by Pictureline was the best decision Ive made in a long time. I can now operate my digital camera with confidence and am no longer intimidated by the many functions and buttons of my camera. Jens Nielsen is an excellent teacher who makes the class fun and interesting. I highly recommend this class to anyone who wants to know more about their digital camera.

I needed a battery charger for my Sony Rebel T6, and called Pictureline. Traveling from Louisiana, I left my charger in my last Air B&B and was 4 hrs round trip away. There was no turning back. I was going to drive thru Salt Lake City and Stephanie saved the vacation by saying she had one for me and would put it on the side for me to pick up. She was super friendly and knowledgeable, and said they are local but can also ship. I will keep her contact card handy!

Great service and a good way to get products fast. Only annoying thing would be the return policy. If you pay with a card theyll charge 3% to return it. They get charged that fee so I understand them not wanting it to come out of their pocket, but B&H and Amazon dont require that fee upon a return and thats the competition.

Pictureline is hands down the best camera and video equipment resellers I have ever purchased from, and I am proud to be a frequent customer! I fondly remember the days when I would browse the shop with my parents while in high school, and i found it amazing to be able to chat with Dave outside of the parameters of Skills USA, which is where I was introduced to Pictureline. Every time I drove up to the store to ask a question or rent something, (sometimes I ended up doing both), the quick drive to salt lake made me feel like a kid in a candy aisle with the service provided. Equipment stock aside (worth noting that it’s amazing to be able to buy brand name items when the big stores in NY have them heavily backordered) the staff who works on site are first class in all aspects, especially for customer service. I feel like I have great friends who are there to inform me of my technical questions regardless of the value of the items I’m buying, which I value highly. Everyone at Pictureline is amazing but I gotta shoutout to two of my favorites. Building a video production business is tough work, and I want to give credit where it’s due! I don’t normally even leave reviews but this is justified. Stephanie helped me purchase my first camera today. An A7 3. She was so patient and friendly. I walked into the store this afternoon 9/15/2021 and a very kind young lady asked if she can assist me. I handed her my challenge and she resolved it in ten seconds. Wow! I then came to the conclusion its time to increase the strength of my glasses from 1.75 to 2.50. She was thoughtful enough to save me from my embarrassment and suggested I might need a wire for the shotgun mic I brought in. We walked over to a wall display and quickly found the appropriate wire. We then walked to the counter, where she opened the package to make sure it was the exact item I needed, it was a sure fit.Stephanie is a professional who knows her profession but in all actuality she had me at Hello.

Pictureline is the best and anyone who doesn’t buy from them is just nuts. Anytime I need help, I can call and someone answers my questions! I can take them a photo and they’ll help me reverse engineer it so I can shoot the same thing for my client. They’ll take time to walk me thru a menu on a new camera I just bought. If I need something but I’m on my way to a shoot they’ll ring it up ahead of time and run it out to the curb for me. I’m not saying I advocate anyone doing that but sometimes things get crazy and when you’re in the trenches, Pictureline is there and has your back. Broken lens? No problem, they’ll rush the repair and rent you a new one. I have told numerous photography students in all seriousness that they should major in anything else and hang out at pictureline to learn. Buy your stuff there and they’ll teach you how to use it! Big national retailers never did anything for me. Pictureline? They are my family and I will continue to support this incredible locally owned business and their families. Service and knowledge are off the chart. After complaining about cell phone AI pictures looking fake, my husband surprised me with a very cool camera with a gazillion settings from Pictureline (gulp!). As a newer participant in photography I really enjoy the staff here. They take the time to listen and answer my questions on different equipment and will it do what I’m looking for it to do. I drive over 40 minutes just to shop in person and support local business.

They are so efficient that I never have to wait long but never feel rushed into buying or doing anything because they spend all the time I need.

The staff at Pictureline are very professional and responded to all my questions immediately. It`s nice to work with dedicated staff members who know what they`re talking about. Pictureline coming through again! I needed the Rode GO II wireless mics before I left on a business trip. I couldn’t get them quick enough from Amazon and Best Buy didn’t have them in stock. So of course pictureline had them! When I got back home I realized I had left my wallet at the table when I was checking out. When I called, they not only confirmed I left it but they offered to bring it to me so I didn’t have to drive back 40min to get it!!! Are you kidding?!? I have been using Pictureline since 2003 and have always loved their store, it is the Apple Store of camera gear! To this day I still use my Manfrotto Carbon fiber tripod I bought from them over 15 years ago when I got to visit the store. I just bought the Profoto B10 Plus Duo kit to lighten up my travel gear and I could not be happier with their service etc. Chris B on the help desk/chat was great, he answered a few questions I had for shipping etc. Also since I live out of the state of Utah they do not charge sales tax!! Contacted Chris via email about an Epson P900 printer. Pictureline had it in stock when others did not. Chris was prompt to respond, to all my email/questions, that kept popping up. Very professional, courteous, and helpful. First time with Pictureline, but definitely not my last. Printer shipped same afternoon I ordered. I dont expect any hitches once it arrives, so dont think I will need to update this review. But the purchase process was smooth and fantastic..thanks Chris!!

I discovered Pictureline about 5 years ago after moving out West and they are now my first choice when I need gear. Great selection, outstanding (and personal) service and they always go the extra mile to help. Twice in the past 3 years they have come through when I was trying to track down an elusive (and popular) camera. Service like this is hard to find and Im thrilled that I dont have to shop around any longer!

They are very people, they can finde the way to fix the issue without tour cameral.Mine needed to be send to the manufacturer, they help me with that. My only problem is that they should keep you updated about your stuff. I have to called several time to find out what was the next step. After many weeks waiting I guess my lense will finally arrived next, the week hopefully.

I have bought a few small items from Pictureline over the years, but recently did a major upgrade. The staff was very knowledgeable and accommodating, even with the various social distancing restrictions we are facing. With this upgrade some of the product was hard to get and the manufacture was basically useless and unresponsive to my needs. The staff at Pictureline was accommodating and made me happy that I didnt choose an online retailer that wouldnt have been able to offer the personal service that I received. Thanks Again!

The customer service at this store is awesome it felt like dealing with a small neighborhood camera store where the people who work there really cared about how happy I’d be with the camera choice I made. I cannot say enough good things I have been on the fence and a long conversation help me to really decide after a lot of indecision! It’ll feel good to keep doing business with the store I like a more personal experience than the corporate sales attitude

I purchased an 85mm sigma art lens a few months ago that came exceptionally quick and was packaged great. I opted to continue going through them to order a camera body, and they have done nothing but amaze me. Colin has been such a terrific individual in assisting me with my order. Such an awesome place. I am a very very new person to photography, the staff was courteous and helpful with no pressure. I got exactly what I was looking for, and didnt feel overwhelmed. The store itself is very clean and orderly. Cool art in the parking lot. With as busy as they were, we waited only about 3 min until someone spent as much time as we needed with us. Shout out to Berkley Pack for getting my husband and I cameras that suited each of our needs. We will be back soon

Wow what can we say that Stephanie and team saved our Butt! Had a problem with a memory card that we thought we lost over 200 pictures from Zion National Park. They did their magic and saved the day. And we didnt buy the camera from them. Because of that, we were researching getting the latest GoPro 9 Black and decided to buy it & some extras from them. Stephanie walked us through it and answered our questions. We will be back for more upgrades. Customer service is everything! TY 😁

I was in the process of upgrading my gear and was on the market for a new camera. Most places were on backorder but Pictureline was showing it in stock. Being a skeptic, I messaged them on the site to confirm availability and they immediately responded via text!! I honestly thought that was the coolest thing!After placing my order, they quickly notified me that they received it and shipped the camera that very same day! The nicest camera store I’ve ever been in. Great selections and they were in stock of all of the newest products including a few that I didn’t think they would have. The store is very clean and the interior has a modern feel. I was greeted by several different employees who wanted to help me with anything. This is how camera stores should be done.
