Wow! What a fun place to just be a big kid in a candy shop! It might look busy but the employees there were always smiling and willing to help you out! There is so much here from candy to posters to cards to pops! This place definitely has something for all ages. If you are an adult and you dont feel like a big kid in here then you have lost your way and became a pirate!! Just enjoy yourself here and have fun!

Pretty awesome little candy store. I loved it when I walked in, awesome atmosphere, though the service could have been a little friendlier. Awesome selection, however after browsing for a second it became apearent that they had a problem with ants. There were quite a few and in the Taffy sections and on some of the counters.

Super cool place to go. All kinds of candy some really cool drinks. I got Rick and Morty energy drinks they are absolutely delicious have not found them anywhere else. They have cool tin signs on the wall that you can purchase as well.

This was a very fun store and had a very unique things. However, they had about every Taffy you could think of but my favorite which is black licorice. Disappointed about that since they had so many other kinds. Otherwise, a great experience

I LOVE foreign candy. It is seriously some of the best stuff around. So, I am always on the hunt for International places. Rocket Fizz definitely makes the list for me. They have a sh*t ton of sodas and candy mixed with zany vintage signs and candy— stuff I haven’t seen in years like Big League Chew, large swirl lollipops you usually see at Disney World, and a variety of water taffy. They have import sodas from Japan like Ramune. They have puke flavored soda (if that’s your thing)!Definitely worth a look if only for nostalgic childhood feel good feelings.

A novelty candy and soda shop, it has always been a fun place to bring visiting friends and relatives, and to purchase an unusual assortment of sodas and candies.

This store is too much fun. They have tons of sodas to choose from, little novelty toys, posters, and its just a fun quirky little place overall. The staff was super nice and helpful, getting me a box when I bought a bunch of bottles. They also let me take home some extra bottle caps, which is great because I collect them. I am super impressed and I looked forward to coming back!

I love the place as always but one of the employees his name was Scott just kind of made me feel awkward in the way that he greets customers. My advice is always to greet them in some way not just stand there and just be awkward and silent.

Went to the store back when I was 12 and got kicked out for looking over to my friends who I entered with. They were planning on buying some candy however I wasnt planning on buying anything. I went off looking and was awed by the selection they had at the time. While I was looking I noticed some tall guy with glasses glaring over to me until he spoke up and claimed to be the owner and that I was stealing. I tried to explain that I was just looking while my friends shop. Even after my explanation, he took a picture of me and banned me from the store. To this day, Im still amazed by the fact that a grown man would make such a scene because I was gazing at some candy. Im pretty sure what set him off was that I was wearing baggy clothes and that I wasnt in his demographic of kids to have the privilege to shop there. If the owner still has that picture I was the kid with the red flannel and black jeans back in 2015.

I love this place so much, even just walking around and reading their weird funny sodas, candy, and signs can be fun. Ive tried ALOT of their sodas and Im always ready to try more!

Whoever was working at 5pm on 12/23/2020 needs to treat people better. I went in with my 4 kids. I understand it can be frustrating, but kids will be kids and accidents happen. A soda bottle accidentally spilled. My daughter told the cashier and he just stared at her and didnt even acknowledge she was speaking. Then I walk up to the register, he slowly turns toward me while rolling his eyes. I apologized. He muttered something I couldnt make out what he said. Are you kidding me?! He was so cold and rude and Ive never experienced that type of customer service ever. Ive been in customer service for 15+ years. I was disgusted to say the least.

I love a good, sweet root beer every now and again and Rocket Fizz is where I go to do just that.They have many different varieties of root beer with all sorts of different flavor types.My recommendation is a cold Faygo.They also have all kinds of cool, vintage sweets.

I bought four bottles of soda. First, they are overpriced. And I think they have expired. One of them has lots of dust on the bottle surface. I did not feel well after drinking one of them and vomited. I dumped rest of three. I will not buy anything here.

By far, one of the most awesome any stores I have ever been too.

Currently open 12:30-6pm, its a conventional soda shop with old fashioned candy and over a hundred different flavors of soda. Theyve got a punch card program too, but I wont ruin the surprise. Youll have to go in to find out ;)

Rocket Fizz does a perfect job of being exactly what it is; a novelty candy and soda pop store.There are so many things in this store that Ive never seen or heard of before! This isnt your average Walmart or Smiths. Youll find a wide variety of all things candy and soda. I really enjoy just going in and walking around.The service and employees have always greeted me at the door and have always been super friendly. Many of them seem to be quite knowledgeable about the products they carry.Im giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 because the last time I went in there it seemed like all the candy and soda had a light layer of dust on them. It makes it all seem like its been sitting in the exact same spot for a while and no one wants to buy dusty candy and soda bottles. Please dust them and they will look more attractive, and if the stuff has been sitting there a while please rotate your inventory.Nevertheless, I love the place in general.

What a fun store! They have every kind of candy imaginable! Great for kids, and for the young at heart. I saw some fun candies I hadnt seen in years. It brought back a lot of memories. They also have a wide selection of imported candy and sodas, which is fun. Sadly, its at the Gateway, so there isnt much traffic around that area! At least, not until warm weather arrives and kids will be there dancing in the fountains. Help them stay in business and head on over! Just a quick walk from Temple Square.

This store a blast! From nostalgic to international candies and unique sodas. They have a HUGE selection of taffy flavors and an assortment of other candies. We also picked up some really fun and delicious sodas. I highly recommend the cinnamon soda, a carbonated red hot. Delicious! But, dont expect much from daytime, during the week staff. We had hardly any acknowledgement that we were there, and wasnt very knowledgeable when we had questions. That aside Id still go back.

This is a very cool place. All the candy and soda you could ever want, as well as some odds and ends like some stuffed animals and magnets. I got some really nice local sodas. Not toooo bad of a price, but you are paying for a candy-store-only markup. Fun to explore or bring kids for sure.

What a cool little shop. You can get any candy or soda that you can think of here. I was able to find myself a Cheerwine which I hadnt had since I left North Carolina

This place is amazing!! My dad just turned 75 and we really wanted to get him his old favorite candy, gum, and soda he always talks about from when he was a boy as a yep surprise birthday present. This place had EVERYTHING we were looking for! We thought wed have to search all over the internet for it and maybe just find a few, but instead we walked right in this place and found it all. What an awesome store! Totally one of a kind stuff in there. Will definitely be coming back.

Walked into the Gateway location to find an unmasked employee coughing at the register. We walked out immediately. This store will not be getting any more of our business if they take such a cavalier approach to customer safety during a pandemic.

I overpaid for soda that was expired. To top it off the staff does not wear mask despite city mandate.

This place is awesome! Super creative decor and merch. The owner obviously has a sense of humor. They also have a great candy selection and even better soda collection. I dont even know how many trips it will take me to try all the new funky flavors.

Eclectic range or products. Helpful staff when I asked about the odd flavored sodas. My son visits often when he is in the area and he brought us. When anyones asks about SLC I will recommend this as a stop. Location is interesting to sit and relax outside the store

Always a nice place to visit and relive old days, but this particular fizz well, i was not impressed at all, worker although freindly was busy on his lap top and the store had clutter everywhere. loose candy and open boxes of soda on the floor, no 6 pack carries to load soda to purchase, outdated candy on the shelf, we happen to purchase a candybar that was 6 months past its exp. date. i wish they had more old time candy.

Its fascinating how many sodas and candies you can buy in this store! In fact, some of the previous generation adults might get nostalgia from seeing some old favorite goodies! Plus, theres TONS of humurous posters on the walls to occupy you more in the store. They do also have some classic beers and alcoholic drinks, so be careful what you buy as far as that goes.

I went in a few days ago and saw the employee not wearing a mask, so I left. Enough said. It isnt that hard to wear a mask, guys, even teens understand.

We go here all the time when my wife just wants to brake away and do something out of the house and fo something fun we go here we love it all and have so many memorys here.

I went on a super busy weekend and checkout was quick. Candy is a hit or miss depending on popularity of the item. I bought a not so popular chocolate bar that tasted old and had no expiration date.

So many different sodas to try, so little time. They even ordered a case of my favorite soda (a special hard-to-find variety) for me to buy. That process was a little slower than just grabbing them from the shelves, but the price cant be beat. Ive recommended them to many people and will continue to.

Not too sure of this place... it is as fake as the sugar it sell. Professionalism at a minus ZERO. See for yourselves and investigate. The one in St. George and across the United States exceeds above and beyond in customer service! Not the one at the Gateway... not good.

We love going here! Its so fun to get some new drinks and even some wall hangings. We love the signs the candy and all the drinks. For sure a fun place to go with the family.

First and foremost, I didnt see any Confederate Flags, either.If you have any candy in mind, odds are they have it! And if your childhood favorite isnt within their walls, their knowledgeable staff knows whether or not you can still get it! Sure, they dont have the lowest prices, but thats what you get for your experience, the amazing visuals, and their unparalleled variety. This is my happy place!

Lots of soda options, but Im not overly impressed with candy selection. But I will note that they sell Harry Potter chocolate frogs, which Ive never seen before. The prices are good.

My family and I love Rocket Fizz. With over 1,000 different kinds of craft soda and candies from around the world we always get a drink and a treat. Ask the staff for recommendations on unusual sodas ranging from bacon, ranch dressing, corn, to more standard flavors like grape, root beer, birthday cake and more! Its awesome!

The idea is great and grand but the prices are far too much for what youre paying for. The candy has been on the shelves for so long you can taste it isnt fresh. Paying double the price by going here and not a grocery store, one would hope the candy is of better quality.

So much fun. We went in on our anniversary. There is so much to see u ou could spend hours just looking around. It was fun to see so many different candies and sodas. There is a whole section I wouldnt recommend seeing without a strong stomach though.

Well, very interesting place, and I even dont like sodas. Choose one of many options from here. Go to the fountain, drink it slowly watching kids, and adults making themselves wet. And you will be refreshed.

There are tons of different types of candies here including regular candy bars, traditional and old time chewing gum, lots and lots of specialty sodas, and cheap made toys. The store also has a ton of salt water taffy flavors to choose from. The prices are a little steep, but that is to be expected.

Great place to find obscure drinks.I love this place nostalgic candy and soda all around you. What I like to get and suggest is the Macfuddy equivalent to Dr Pepper but it doesnt taste expired and all the Faygo drinks in a bottle, I never had Faygo and discovered that it actually taste really good and noticed it is hard to find in stores locally. And no you dont have to be an idiotic Juggalo to drink it either. Faygo is an old drink from Detroit in 1907 it only gained traction as being an idiotic Juggalo drink because the horrible band ICP is from Michigan and they spray it to on their fans as if it is a glorified clown orgy party.But that being said please do come here and enjoy their wide variety of drinks here. Also be adventurous you may find a hidden gem that I dont even know about. There was a drink in particular, the company was from 1932 and the logo had an old train on it and was strawberry flavored, if you find that please pick it up and enjoy.
